        고리 연안에서 채집된 용가자미 (Hippoglossoides pinetorum)의 식성

        용가자미의 식성을 연구하기 위해 고리 주변해역에서 소형 기선저인망을 이용하여 1996년 1월부터 12월까지 매월 채집된 용가자미의 위내용물을 조사하였다. 용가자미의 가장 중요한 먹이생물은 새우류 (Caridea)였다. 다음으로 난바다곤쟁이류(Euphausiacea)가 비교적 많았다. 그 외에 단각류(Amphipoda), 곤쟁이류(Mysidacea), 두족류(Cephalopoda), 갯지렁이류(Polychaeta), 요각류(Copepoda), 게류(Brachyura), 이매패류(Bivalvia)등의 먹이생물이 위내용물에서 발견되었으나, 그 양은 많지 않았다. 용가자미는 성장함에 따라 먹이생물의 전환이 명확히 나타났는데, 체장 3∼5 ㎝의 작은 크기에서는 난바다곤쟁이류와 곤쟁이류를 주로 먹었다. 하지만 5㎝이상 크기의 개체들은 새우류를 주로 섭이하였으며, 20㎝ 이상의 크기에서는 두족류와 갯지렁이류의 점유율이 증가하는 경향을 보였다. We examined the stomach contents of Hippoglossoides pinetorum collected monthly by a small otter trawl in the coastal waters of Kori, Korea from January to December, 1996. H. pinetorum was a bottom feeding carnivore which consumed mainly shirmps. Its diets also included small quantities of euphausiids, amphipods, mysids, squids, copepods, polychaetes, crabs and bivalves. It showed distinct ontogenetic changes in feeding habits. Small individuals (3-5 ㎝ SL) preyed mainly on euphausiids and mysids. However, individuals over 5 ㎝ SL preyed mainly on shrimps. Individuals of 20-28 ㎝ SL fed relatively large quantities of squids and polychaetes together with shrimps.

        가덕도 주변 해역에서 채집된 실양태 (Repomucenus valenciennei)의 식성

        실양태의 식성을 연구하기 위해 가덕도 주변해역에서 소형 기전저인망을 이용하여 1998년 1월부터 12월까지 채집된 실양태의 위 내용물을 조사하였다. 실양태의 가장 중요한 먹이 생물은 이매패류(Bivalvia)였다. 다음으로 단각류(Amphipoda), 갯지렁이류(Polychaeta), 요각류(Copepoda), 쿠마류(cumacea)가 비교적 많이 섭이 되었다. 그 외에 패충류(Ostracoda), 복족류(Gastropoda), 거미불가사리류(Ophiuroidea), 게류(Brachyura), 어류(Pisces) 등이 위 내용물 중 발견되었으나, 그 양은 많지 않았다. 실양태는 성장함에 따라 먹이생물의 전환이 명확히 나타났는데, 체장 2~4㎝의 작은 개체들은 단각류와 요각류를 주로 먹었다. 그러나 6㎝ 이상 크기의 개체들은 이매패류와 갯지렁이류를 주로 섭이하였다.         광양만 대도주변 잘피밭에서 채집된 양태의 식성을 조사하였다. 양태(2~14cm SL)의 주요 먹이생물은 어류였으며, 그 다음으로 새우류가 비교적 많이 먹혔다. 그 외 단각류, 곤쟁이류 및 게류 등이 소량씩 위내용물 중에서 발견되었다. 양태가 성장함에 따라 먹이생물의 조성이 점차 변하였다. 체장이 작은 양태는 단각류(카프렐라류 및 옆새우류)와 곤쟁이류를 주로 잡아 먹었다. 그러나 체장이 증가하면서 어류가 위내용물 중 차지하는 비율이 급격히 증가하였으며, 단각류와 곤쟁이류의 건조 중량비는 크게 감소하였다. 먹이 종류는 계절에 관계없이 어류가 주로 섭이되었다. Feeding habits of Platycephalus indicus collected from eelgrass beds in Kwangyang Bay were studied. P. indicus(2~14㎝ SL) is a carnivore which consumed mainly fishes. Its diet also included a significant quantity of shrimps as well as small quantities of amphipods, mysids and crabs. P. indicus showed ontogenetic changes in feeding habits. Small individuals preyed mainly on amphipods (caprellid and gammarid amphipods) and mysids. However, fishes were heavily selected with increased fish size, while the portion of the diet attributable to amphipods and mysids decreased sharply. Fishes were major prey organisms in all seasons.

        광양만에서 채집된 실양태 (Repomucenus valenciennei) 의 성숙과 산란

        광양만 대도 주변해역에서 1999년 1월부터 12월까지 소형 기선저인망(otter trawl)을 이용하여 매월 실양태(Repomucenus valenciennei)를 채집하여 성숙과 산란을 조사하였다. 실양태의 산란시기는 4∼6월 사이였는데, 산란성기는 5월이었다. 암컷의 생식소 중량지수(GSI)는 5월에 가장 높았다. 암컷은 체장 5㎝부터 성숙하여 산란에 참가하며, 군성숙도가 50% 이상인 개체의 크기는 체장 7㎝ 였다. 체장 9㎝ 이상부터는 모든 개체가 성숙에 도달하여 산란에 참가하였다. 산란 직전의 난 크기는 0.6∼0.9 ㎜ 범위였으며, 일 년 동안 2회 이상 산란을 하는 것으로 추정되었다. 실양태의 체장에 따른 포란수(fecundity)는 8,665∼36,727개 범위였으며, 평균 23,467개를 포란하였다. 실양태의 체장과 포란수와의 관계식은 F=273BL²ㆍ¹² 이었다. Maturation and spawning of Repomucenus valenciennei were studied using samples collected from Gwangyang Bay, Korea, from January to December, 1999. Gonadosomatic index (GSI) in males and females were the highest in April and May, respectively. The spawning season was from April to June. The first spawning length was 5 ㎝ body length (BL). The percentage of sexually mature females was over 50% for the size group between 7.0 ㎝ and 7.9 ㎝, and 100% for the size group over 9.0 ㎝ in body length. The size of eggs spawned varied from 0.6 to 0.9 ㎜, and spawning took place at least twice a year. Fecundity varied between 8,665 and 36,727 eggs, with an average fecundity of 23,467 eggs. The relationship between fecundity and body length of the fish is expressed as; F = 273BL^(2.12).

        In order to investigate the pharmacological properties of l-muscone, effects of l-muscone and musk were studied on the cardiovascular system with various experimental models. In isolated rat aorta, l-muscone and musk made the relaxation of blood vessels in maximum contractile response to phenylephrin (10^-6M) in endothelium-containing rings of the rat aorta, but not in endothelium-denuded rings. However, l-muscone and musk in the presence of the inhibitor of NO synthase and guanylate cyclase did not make the relaxation of blood vessel. In spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs), l-muscone and musk slightly reduced blood pressure but significantly decreased heart rate. In the isolated perfused rat hearts. l-muscone and musk did not affect significantly on LVDP, contractile force, coronary flow and (-dp/dt)/(+dp/dt). These results suggest that l-muscone and musk have weak cardiovascular effects with relaxation of blood vessel and decrease of heart rate, but without significant cardiac functions.

        In order to investigate the pharmacological properties of New Wonbang Woohwangchungsimwon Liquid (NSCL), effects of Wonbang Woohwangchungsimwon Liquid (SCL) and NSCL were compared. In isolated rat aorta, NSCL and SCL showed the relaxation of blood vessels in maximum contractile response to phenylephrine (10^-6M) regardless to intact endothelium or denuded rings of the rat aorta. Furthermore, the presences of the inhibitor of NO synthase and guanylate cyclase did not affect the relaxing effect of NSCL and SCL. NSCL and SCL inhibited the vascular contractions induced by acetylcholine, prostaglandin endoperoxide or peroxide in a dose-dependent manner. In conscious spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs), NSCL and SCL significantly decreased heart rate. NSCL and SCL, at high doses, had a negative inotropic effect that was a decrease of left ventricular developed pressure and (-dp/dt)/(+dp/dt) in the isolated perfused rat hearts, and also decreased the contractile force and heart rate in the isolated rat right atria. In excised guinea-pig papillary muscle, NSCL and SCL had no effects on parameters of action potential such as resting membrane potential, action potential amplitude, APD_90 and V_max at low doses, whereas inhibited the cardiac contractility at high doses. These results suggested that NSCL and SCL have weak cardiovascular effects with relaxation of blood vessels and decrease of heart rate, and that this effect is no significant differences between cardiovascular effects of two preparations.

In conscious spontaneously hypertensive rats (SHRs). NSCH and SCH decreased significantly heart rate. These, at high doses, had a negative inotropic effect that was a decrease of left ventricular developed pressure and (-dp/dt)/(+dp/dt) in the isolated perfused rat hearts, and also decreased the contractile force and heart rate in the isolated rat right atria. In guinea-pig papillary muscle, these had no effects on parameters of action potential such as action potential amplitude (APA). V_max and resting membrane potential (RMP) at low doses, whereas inhibited the cardiac contractility at high doses. Furthermore, these had a significant inhibitory effects on palpitation of the heart in normotensive rats and SHRs. These results suggest that NSCH and SCH have weak cardiovascular effects, and that there is no significant differences between cardiovascular effects of two preparations.

      • 황해 동남 해역의 수괴지표성 요각류 및 모악류의 분포와 수괴특성

        Distribution of indicator species of copepods and chaetognaths were studied as an indicator species of water mass in the southeastern area of the Yellow Sea. Undinula darwini, Lucicutia flavicornis, Pleuromamma gracilis, Euchaeta resselli, Euchaeta plana and Sagitta enflata were found to be reliable indicator species for determining warm water mass. Of these species, E. plana and E. russelli have a weak tolerance on the low temperature. Sagitta crassa was indicator species of neritic waters: Sagitta bedoti was that of mixing waters. Centropages agdominalis represented neritic cold waters. In February U. darwini, L. flavicornis, P. gracilis, E. russelli, E. plana and S. enflata occurred in the western waters of Cheju-Do where warm waters over 14℃ occupied. Centropages abdominalis occurred in the northern area beyond Chindo with water temperature less than 10℃. E. plana, E. russelli and S. bedoti were found at the regions between Cheju-Do and Chindo where the water temperature was 12∼14℃ corresponding to the mixing waters. Based on cluster analysis and T-S diagram in February three different water masses were identified from the south to the north. In August, water masses were analyzed at two different layers, 0∼20m and 20m∼bottom layers, separated by thermocline depth. In 0∼20m layer, E plana and E. russelli were found from the western waters of Cheju-Do to Daehuksando. In 20m∼bottom layer, E. russelli and E. plana occurred at the northwestern waters of Cheju-Do with the water temperature warmer than 12℃. C. abdominalis was found at the northern area beyond Chindo. Based on the cluster analysis and T-S diagram in August three different water masses at 0∼20m and 20m∼bottom layers were identified from the coast to the offshore. C. abdominalis was found at the adjacent water of Chindo at 0∼20m layer and the northern area beyond Chindo at 20m∼bottom layer. This fact suggested that the cold water mass existed at the adjacent waters of Chindo in summer.
