In this paper, we analyzed the relation between Respiration and EEG. For this, we acquired the EEG signal, ECG signal and respiration signal synchronously with keep time. And we defined SSR and Macrate which represent beat rate of heart per single unit of respiration and relational ratio of alpha wave and beta wave in EEG respectively. The reason why we defined SSR and Macrate is to compare and analyze two signals quantitatively. From the examination result about 10 reagents, we verified our proposal.

The development of polymer/inorganic nanocomposites has attracted a great deal of interest due to the improved hybrid properties derived from the two different components. Various nanoscale fillers have been used to enhance polymer mechanical and thermal properties, such as toughness, stiffness, and heat resistance. The effects of the filler on the final properties of the nanocomposites are highly dependent on the filler shape. particle size, aggregate size, surface characteristics, polymer/inorganic interactions, and degree of dispersion. In this paper, we describe the influence of different GaGO₃ dispersion methods on the thermal properties of polyethylene terephthalate (PET)/GaGO₃ composites: i.e., the adsorption of GaGO₃ on the modified PET SUI/ace, and the hydrophobic modification of the hydrophilic GaGO₃ surface. We prepared PET/GaGO₃ nanocomposites using a twin-screw extruder, and investigated their thermal properties and morphology.

초등학교 1학년 통합단원 "함께하는 한가위" 재구성 실행연구

본 연구는 초등학교 1학년 2학기 ``바른 생활``, ``슬기로운 생활``, ``즐거운 생활``과의 통합 단원인 ``함께하는 한가위``를 통합적 관점에서 재구성하여 실행한 연구이다. 34명의 초등학교 1학년 학생을 대상으로 재구성한 통합단원을 교사연구자가 실행하는 과정에서 일어나는 교사의 교육과정 재구성에 대한 인식과 학생들의 수업태도 및 참여의 변화를 이해하고 묘사하는데 초점을 두었다. 통합단원의 재구성은 한 차시의 내용에 ``바른 생활``, ``슬기로운 생활``, ``즐거운 생활``과의 내용을 학생들의 생활과 밀접한 통합 활동으로 재구성하여 통합교과가 한 단원 당 2주간 배정된 시량인 총 22차시로 재구성하여 적용하였다. 이를 위해 교수·학습과정안, 학생용 워크북, 교사용 수업자료 등을 개발하였다. 자료 수집은 연구일지, 참여관찰과 비구조화된 면담, 실행과정에서의 실행일지, 학생들이 작성한 학습일지, 동영상 및 사진촬영 등을 통해 이루어졌다. 연구를 통해 학생들은 학습에 있어 함께하는 방법을 알고, 학교는 즐거운 배움터라는 인식을 하였으며, 교사의 변화로는 학습자 중심 교육에 대한 인식변화, 학생을 바라보는 관점의 변화, 교육과정 재구성 시도에 대한 두려움의 극복 등이 있었다. This is an action research on restructuring the integrated unit, ``Sharing together Hangawee`` that consisted the same theme across three integrated subjects. The purpose of this study was to describe and understand the changes of the action researcher`s awareness of curriculum restructuring and of the student participants` attitudes toward learning and classroom participation. Restructuring the integrated unit was mainly done by the way of designing activities closely related with students` real life and three integrated subjects of the first grade. The unit consisted of twenty-two class periods which was the standardized class period for one unit. For the implementation, teaching materials such as lesson plans, student workbook, powerpoints, hand-outs were developed and applied. Based on the research, the changes of the student were ``knowing how to cooperate with peers`` and ``recognizing school as a place of enjoyable learning``. The action researcher changes her paradigm on student-centered instruction and on the viewpoints of the student as a learner. In addition, her ability of curriculum restructuring was improved.
도라지 논 재배시 두둑높이가 생육 및 토양수분 변화에 미치는 영향

도라지(Platycodon grandiflorum)는 전통적인 식재료 중 하나로 지질개선, 암세포 증식 억제, 항산화 효과 등 생리활성이 있어 약재로 이용하며 기능성 식품개발 등에 따라 메디푸드로서 인정받고 있으나 대부분이 수입산에 의존하고 있다. 본 연구는 논의 이용성 다양화로 밭작물인 도라지에 대한 논 재배기술을 개발하고자 수행하였다. 대부분의 밭 작물은 논 재배시에 습해에 의한 피해를 경감시키는 것이 선결 과제이다. 습해에 의한 피해 경감을 위하여 두둑높이를 20, 30, 40cm으로 처리하여 도라지 생육상황, 습해피해, 토양수분 변화를 조사하였다. 두둑높이에 따른 입모수는 두둑높이가 낮을수록 입모수가 증가하였으며, 생육초기 지상부 생육은 두둑높이 40cm에서 우수하였다. 지하부의 뿌리길이 및 뿌리굵기는 두둑높이 60cm 처리에서 우수하였다. 두둑높이 20cm 처리에서 균핵병이 발생하였으며 줄기마름병, 점무늬병 및 시들음병은 발생하지 않았다. 종자 파종후 발아기 동안 한발에 의한 피해 정도는 두둑높이가 높을수록 발생정도가 높았으며 습해나 도복 피해는 두둑높이에 따른 차이를 나타내지 않았다. 강우 후 토양수분의 경시적 변화를 조사한 결과 강우 초기 수분함량은 두둑높이가 낮을수록 높았으며 강우후 9일차에는 두둑높이와 상관없이 비슷한 수분 함량을 나타내었다.

<P>In recent years, the use of botanical agents to prevent skin damage from solar ultraviolet (UV) irradiation has received considerable attention. <I>Oenanthe javanica</I> is known to exert anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activities. This study investigated photoprotective properties of an <I>Oenanthe javanica</I> extract (OJE) against UVB-induced skin damage in ICR mice. The extent of skin damage was evaluated in three groups: control mice with no UVB, UVB-exposed mice treated with vehicle (saline), and UVB-exposed mice treated with 1% extract. Photoprotective properties were assessed in the dorsal skin using hematoxylin and eosin staining, Masson trichrome staining, immunohistochemical staining, quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction, and western blotting to analyze the epidermal thickness, collagen expression, and mRNA and protein levels of type I collagen, type III collagen, and interstitial collagenases, including matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-1 and MMP-3. In addition, tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α and cyclooxygenase (COX)-2 protein levels were also assessed. In the UVB-exposed mice treated with extract, UV-induced epidermal damage was significantly ameliorated. In this group, productions of collagen types I and III were increased, and expressions of MMP-1 and MMP-3 were decreased. In addition, TNF-α and COX-2 expressions were reduced. Based on these findings, we conclude that OJE displays photoprotective effects against UVB-induced collagen disruption and inflammation and suggest that <I>Oenanthe javanica</I> can be used as a natural product for the treatment of photodamaged skin.</P>

<P>Innate immune system is very important to modulate the host defense against a large variety of pathogens. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) play a key role in controlling innate immune response. Among TLRs, TLR4 is a specific receptor for lipopolysaccharide and associated with the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines. In the present study, we investigated ischemia-related changes of TLR4 immunoreactivity and its protein level, and nuclear factor κB (NF-κB) p65 immunoreactivity regarding inflammatory responses in the hippocampal CA1 region after 5 min of transient cerebral ischemia to identify the correlation between transient ischemia and inflammation. In the sham-operated group, TLR4 immunoreactivity was easily detected in pyramidal neurons of the hippocampal CA1 region (CA1). TLR4 immunoreactivity in pyramidal neurons was distinctively decreased after ischemia/reperfusion (I/R); instead, based on double immunofluorescence study, TLR4 immunoreactivity was expressed in non-pyramidal neurons and astrocytes from 2 days postischemia. In addition, TLR4 protein level was lowest at 1 day postischemia and highest 4 days after I/R. On the other hand, NF-κB p65 immunoreactivity was not detected in the CA1 of the sham-operated group, and NF-κB p65 immunoreactivity was not observed until 1 day after I/R. However, NF-κB p65 immunoreactivity began to be expressed in astrocytes at 2 days postischemia, and the immunoreactivity was strong 4 days postischemia. Our results indicate that TLR4 and NF-κB p65 immunoreactivity are changed in CA1 pyramidal neurons and newly expressed in astrocytes, not in microglia, in the CA1 region after transient cerebral ischemia.</P>
