Endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress is mediated by disturbance of $Ca^{2+}$ homeostasis. The store-operated calcium (SOC) channel is the primary $Ca^{2+}$ channel in non-excitable cells, but its participation in agent-induced ER stress is not clear. In this study, the effects of tunicamycin on $Ca^{2+}$ influx in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) were observed with the fluorescent probe Fluo-4 AM. The effect of tunicamycin on the expression of the unfolded protein response (UPR)-related proteins BiP and CHOP was assayed by western blotting with or without inhibition of Orai1. Tunicamycin induced endothelial dysfunction by activating ER stress. Orai1 expression and the influx of extracellular $Ca^{2+}$ in HUVECs were both upregulated during ER stress. The SOC channel inhibitor SKF96365 reversed tunicamycin-induced endothelial cell dysfunction by inhibiting ER stress. Regulation of tunicamycin-induced ER stress by Orai1 indicates that modification of Orai1 activity may have therapeutic value for conditions with ER stress-induced endothelial dysfunction.

<P>Multilayered hard coatings with a CrN matrix and an Al2O3, TiO2, or nanolaminate-Al2O3/TiO2 sealing layer were designed by a hybrid deposition process combined with physical vapor deposition (PVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD). The strategy was to utilize ALD thin films as pinhole-free barriers to seal the intrinsic defects to protect the CrN matrix. The influences of the different sealing layers added in the coatings on the microstructure, surface roughness, and corrosion behaviors were investigated. The results indicated that the sealing layer added by ALD significantly decreased the average grain size and improved the corrosion resistance of the CrN coatings. The insertion of the nanolaminate-Al2O3/TiO2 sealing layers resulted in a further increase in corrosion resistance, which was attributed to the synergistic effect of Al2O3 and TiO2, both acting as excellent passivation barriers to the diffusion of corrosive substances.</P>

We present a novel method of spin-spray for preparing Ag/CNTs compositefilms on photo-graftedpolyimide (PI) substrate, which is evolved from spin and spray method. Compared with the compositessynthesized of silver nanoparticles and CNTs, it reduced pores of silver matrix. Meanwhile, MWCNTs inAg/CNTsfilms show an outstanding deposition and dispersity. Owing to CNTs, the sheet resistance ofAg/CNT-5 declined by 74.4% compared to the pristine Agfilms. Adhesive strength was strong enough forpracticability by photo-grafting. Otherwise, environmental stability was carried out and the selectivecoatings for diverse inter-connection with various deformations supported the application practicability.
Leader-following Consensus of Heterogeneous Multi-agent Systems with Packet Dropout
Zhixin Liu,Hongjiu Yang,Xiu You,Ling Zhao 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2015 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.13 No.5
This paper studies the leader-following consensus problem for heterogeneous multi-agent systems composed of linear second-order integrator agents and nonlinear Euler-Lagrange agents in two aspects. The consensus problem of heterogeneous multi-agent systems is discussed with unknown velocities, time-varying disturbances and packet dropout by introducing extended state observer. Sufficient conditions are established to ensure that all following agents could reach consensus with a virtual leader, which provide the allowable upper bound of packet drop rate. Numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the theoretical results.
Expression and Clinicopathological Significance of CD9 in Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor
Hongxin Yang,Chaoyong Shen,Bo Zhang,Haining Chen,Zhixin Chen,Jiaping Chen 대한의학회 2013 Journal of Korean medical science Vol.28 No.10
This study investigated the expression and clinicopathological significance of CD9 in gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST). Immunohistochemistry staining for CD9 was performed on tumor tissues from 74 GIST patients. The correlation with clinicopathological features, risk classification and prognosis was analyzed. CD9-positive staining comprised 59.5% (44/74) of the GIST patients. The CD9-positive expression rate of the sample was significantly associated with diameter (P=0.028), mitotic counts (P=0.035), risk classification (P=0.018) and three-year recurrence-free survival (RFS) (P<0.001). Cox proportional hazards regression (HR=0.352; P=0.015) showed that CD9 is an independent factor for post-operative RFS. The subgroup analysis showed that CD9 expression in gastric stromal tumor (GST) is significantly associated with diameter (P=0.031), risk classification (P=0.023) and three-year RFS (P=0.001). The Cox proportional hazards regression (HR=0.104; P=0.006) also showed that CD9 is an independent factor for RFS of GST. However, CD9 expression does not have a statistically significant correlation with clinicopathological features, risk classification, and prognosis in non-GST. In conclusion, CD9 expression in GIST appears to be associated with the recurrence and/or metastasis of GIST patients, especially in GST, which may indicate the important role of CD9 in the malignant biological behavior and prognosis of GST.

<P>A new approach was adopted to improve the corrosion resistance of CrN hard coatings by inserting a Al2O3 layer through atomic layer deposition. The influence of the addition of a Al2O3 interlayer, its thickness, and the position of its insertion on the microstructure, surface roughness, corrosion behavior, and mechanical properties of the coatings was investigated. The results indicated that addition of a dense atomic layer deposited Al2O3 interlayer led to a significant decrease in the average grain size and surface roughness and to greatly improved corrosion resistance and corrosion durability of CrN coatings while maintaining their mechanical properties. Increasing the thickness of the Al2O3 interlayer and altering its insertion position so that it was near the surface of the coating also resulted in superior performance of the coating. The mechanism of this effect can be explained by the dense.Al2O3 interlayer acting as a good sealing layer that inhibits charge transfer, diffusion of corrosive substances, and dislocation motion.</P>

In this paper, the tracking control problem of flexible joint robotic manipulator (FJRM) system subjected to system uncertainties and time-varying external disturbances (TVED) is addressed. A new disturbance observerbased neural network integral sliding mode controller with output constraints (DNISMCOC) that comprises the merits of neural networks, disturbance observer and integral sliding mode is proposed. Considering that the radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) has a fast learning convergence speed and great approximation ability, two matrices of RBFNN are utilized to estimate the parameter matrices of the dynamic model of FJRM. In view of the estimation errors of RBFNNs and TVED in the system, a disturbance observer is introduced to estimate the lump uncertainties which consist of them. Integral sliding mode is introduced for eliminating steady errors further. For ensuring security in some high-accuracy using occasions, a barrier lyapunov functions (BLF) is adopted to achieve output constraints of FJRM. To validate the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme, numerical simulations on 2-link FJRM are conducted. According to the comparisons among DNISMCOC and other state-ofthe-art controllers, the superiorities of DNISMCOC in several aspects are proved.

In order to effectively reuse red mud and coal gangue, foam glass was successfully prepared by sintering. The foaming of foamglass is ensured by adding foaming agent, foam stabilizer and fluxing agent to the raw materials including red mud, coalgangue and waste glass. Furthermore, the defects in the foam glass are also reduced. The obtained powder was dried at 105ºC and characterized by XRF, DSC-TG analysis, etc. According to cellular structure, apparent density and water absorption, the optimal type and ratio of foaming agent, foaming stabilizer and fluxing agent were revealed. The results indicate that theoptimized formula of foaming agent, foaming stabilizer and fluxing agent is 3% MnO2-2% Na3PO4-2% borax. The foam glassprepared under optimized conditions exhibits uniform porous distribution and suitable pore size with an apparent density of0.575 g/cm3 and water absorption of 4.61%. The research in this work could establish the technical foundation of red mudbasedporous material for industrial production.
An Interactive Perspective Scene Completion Framework Guided by Complanate Mesh
( Chuanyan Hao ),( Zilong Jin ),( Zhixin Yang ),( Yadang Chen ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2020 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.14 No.1
This paper presents an efficient interactive framework for perspective scene completion and editing tasks, which are available largely in the real world but rarely studied in the field of image completion. Considering that it is quite hard to extract perspective information from a single image, this work starts from a friendly and portable interactive platform to obtain the basic perspective data. Then, in order to make this interface less sensitive, easier and more flexible, a perspective-rectification based correction mechanism is proposed to iteratively update the locations of the initial points selected by users. At last, a complanate mesh is generated by the geometry calculations from these corrected initial positions. This mesh must approximate the perspective direction and the structure topology as much as possible so that the filling process can be conducted under the constraint of the perspective effects of the original image. Our experiments show the results with good qualities and performances, and also demonstrate the validity of our approaches by various perspective scenes and images.
