        조사 구역 상류 지점의 평균 수질은 pH가 7.1, DO가 8.3mg/ℓ, BOD가 1.7mg/ℓ, COD가 1.7mg/ℓ, SS가 15.4mg/ℓ, 분변성 대장균이 1.1x10³ MPN/100ml고 상수원 수 1급 내지 2급의 양호한 상태이고 하류지점의 수질은 pH가 6.8, DO가 7.7mg/ℓ, BOD가 2.2mg/ℓ, COD가 2.4mg/ℓ, 분변성 대장균이 1.7x10³MPN/100ml로 상수원 수 2급 내지 3급의 상태를 나타내 하류로 내려가면서 오염도가 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 청주시의 영향을 크게 받는 미호천 하류의 평균수질은 pH가 7.2, DO가 6.3mg/ℓ, BOD가 16.2mg/ℓ, COD가 15.1mg/ℓ, 분변성 대장균이 1.6x10??MPN/100ml로 심각한 오염 상태를 보여 청주시와 대전시가 금강 본류의 주 수질 오염원으로 나타났다. 영양 염류 (NH₃-N, NO₂-N, NO₃-N, PO₄-P)와 무기성 유해 성분 (Cl-, CN-, F-)의 함량은 지천의 일부 지점을 제외하고는 극히 낮은 수준으로 검출되었으며, 유기인, 페놀류, PCB 성분은 조사기간 중 전혀 검출되지 않았다. 또한 Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Cr, Pb, Cd, Hg등의 중금속은 검출되지 않거나 하천 수질 기준 또는 식용수 수질 기준의 허용치를 초과하지 않는 양호한 수준으로 나타났다.

      • 揷橋川의 淡水魚群集에 관한 硏究

        This survey was investigated freshwater fish communities in Sapkyo Stream for four month from May 1986 to August 1987, and classified fish communities, and then analyzed them. The result obtained were as follows: 36 species belonging to 10 family were collected in Sapkyo Stream. There were collected 80% species of total species of freshwater fishes in Korea. Cultriculus eigenmani showed the highest value of relative abundance in Sapkyo Stream. By the partial ordination analysis, with constancy as the range 10% to 60%, the fish communities in Sapkyo Stream were divided into Moroco-Zacco (A), Zacco-Cultriculus (A+B), Pelteobagrus-Cultriculus (B), Acanthogobius-Carassius (C) community. The diversity index, eveness index and species richness index value in Sapkyo Stream were appeared relatively high, but the dominance index value showed low. Fish species of high relative abundance and constancy value in Sapkyo Stream were showed as lake type.

      • 강수량에 따른 유구천의 어류상과 어류군집에 관한 연구

        To investigate the community analysis of freshwater fish in Yugu-stream near Kongju, a Kumgang river's tributary, the field sampling was carried out from May 1995 to March 1996 at six different stations, with measuring environmental factors of the stream water. Among the environmental factors measured, total suspended solid altruistically increased in the rainy season (24.22 ㎎/l) than in the other seasons (2.38 ∼ 4.36 ㎎/l), while dissolved oxygen decreased in the rainy season (7.15 ppm). The fish collected during this survey were identified 6 families and 36 species, in which 11 species were endemic in Korea. The most dominant species was Zacco platypus with a relative abundance of 54.3%, that accords with a general tendency of the species in most of the Korean streams. Acheilognathus intermedia was observed with 13.4% and Acheilognathus rhombea with 4.3% abundance. Fish in the rainy season were identified 6 family and 32 species, that showed a little less diversity compared to fish in the other seasons. Hemiculter eigenmenni and Erythroculter erythropterus, which usually occur in the main stream of Korean rivers, also showed a relatively high abundance in Yugu-stream. Species richness of Yugu-stream fish increased with a index of 3.69 in the rainy season, while the fish diversity and evenness index decreased.

      • 금강 수서생태계의 구조와 기능에 관한 연구 : 담수어류

        The freshwater fish fauna in mid-lower area was investigated from March 1995 to October and its community structure was analyzed. 1. The collected fishes were classified 39 species belonging to 5 subfamilies 12 families, of which 24 species were Cyprinus family. 2. Dominant species was Hemibargus longirostris in March, Mugil cephalus in May, Culter eingenmanni in August, Microphysogobio tuntingensis in October. 3. 9 species of total collected fish were Korea endemic species and subspecies that they were Acheilognathus yamatsutae, Acanthorhodeus gracilis, Gnathopogon strigatus, Squalidus japonicas, Microphysogobio yaluensis, Culter eigenmanni, Cobitis choii, Odontobutis odontobutis interrupta. 4. In investigated stations dominant species was Sarcocheilichthys wakiyae in the site 1, Sualidus japonicas in the site 2, Erythroculter erythropterus in the sit 3, Opsariichthys bidens in the site 4, Culter eingenmani in the site 5, Mugil cephalus in the site 6. 5. In investigated stations protective species was Sarcochilichthys wakiyae, S. curriculus, Acheilognathus rhombea. 6. As a result community analysis, species diversity and species richness were in the highest value in the site 1, community structure was stable. Dominance index was in the highest value in the site 6 because Mugil cephalus was 41% of the total collected species in the same site, and species diversity was in the lowest value.

      • 錦江上流地域에 있어 다슬기科의 分布에 關한 硏究

        The distribution and identification of Semisulcospira species were studied at the 8 stations in the upper streams of Geum River and it's tributatries, and some physicochemical analysis were obtained from all stations. The results are summerized as follows: 1. Four species of Semisulcospira were collected from the 7 stations in the 8 stations, except a station, the Buchang stream. S. coreana was found at all the 7 stations, S. ovulum at the 6 stations, S. globus at the 4 stations, and S. tegulata was found only two stations, but the density of all the snails was generally low in a m^2. 2. Identification of the snail species were based on the external morphology, radula ribbon and central teeth patterns. 3. The chromosome numbers were observed : n = 18 in S. coreana and S. ovulum ; n = 16 in S. globus, however, in S. tegulata the chromosome was not observed. 4. Physicochemical analysis in the aquatic environment were determined from all the 8 stations. The pH, Ca, Mg, SO_4, Na and Cl values in the water varied not widely, but the values of chemical oxidation demand at the 5th station and electric conductivity at the 7th station were higher than those of the another stations.

        홍민어 Sciaenops ocellatus에서의 바이러스성 신경괴사증 viral nervous necrosis

        1999년 10월에서 11월 사이에 남해안 일대의 홍민어 종묘 생산장에서 20~30열령의 치어가 척추만곡 및 이상유영을 하며 대량 폐사하였다. 병어는 특이 외부 증상이 없었고, 높은 누적폐사량이 바이러스 질병으로 의심되어, 조직학적 및 분자생물학적인 검사를 행하여 폐사원인을 확인하였다. 폐사개체의 조직을 H-E 염색하여 관찰한 결과 뇌와 안구의 신경세포에서 공포와 괴사가 관찰되었고, 전자현미경 관찰에서는 안구와 뇌에서 바이러스 입자가 관찰되었다. RT-PCR 결과에서는 ≒426 bp의 DNA 단편을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 홍민어에서 발생한 대량폐사는 바이러스성 신경괴사증(VNN)으로 진단되었다. Mass mortalities occurred among red drum lavae, 20 to 30 days old, culturing at hatcheries on southern costal area. No specific external signs were observed except abnormal swimming and spinal deformity. It was, however, suspected as a viral etiology due to high mass mortalities so that histopathological and molecular biological study was performed to evaluate the agent. Both vacuoles and necrosis were observed on nerve cells of brain and eye by H-E staining, and viral particles were observed on electronmicroscopic examination. On the other hand, DNA fragment, approximately 426 bps, was amplified with RT-PCR. The above results were able to diagnosis the etiological agent of mass moralities in red drum larvae as VNN(viral nervous necrosis)virus.
