<P>Two new phenylspirodrimane derivatives, stachybotrysin (1) and stachybotrylactone B (2), were isolated from the cultures of the marine derived fungus Stachybotrys sp. KCB13F013. The structures were determined by analyzing the spectroscopic data (1D and 2D NMR and MS) and chemical transformation, including the modified Mosher's method and single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. Compound 1 exhibited an inhibitory effect on osteoclast differentiation in bone marrow macrophage cells via suppressing the RANKL-induced activation of p-ERK, p-JNK, p-p38, c-Fos, and NFATc1.</P>

심해저 장비에 사용되는 압력용기는 내장된 전자장비를 대기압 상태로 보호할 수 있도록 설계되어야 한다. 따라서 해수에 노출되지 않도록 수밀성과 심해의 높은 압력을 견딜 수 있는 구조적 안전성을 확보해야 한다. 본 연구의 압력용기는 원통형이며, 중앙부의 원통형 용기와 양 끝단의 평판형 덮개부로 이루어져있다. 일반적으로 압력용기 내부 전자장비와의 통신 및 전력전송을 위해 압력용기 덮개판에 다양한 수중 커넥터를 배치 한다. 그러나 한정된 덮개판 공간에 다수의 홀이 배치되면 응력집중을 유발하여 압력용기 덮개판의 구조적 안전성에 영향을 줄 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 구조적 안전성을 고려한 압력용기 덮개판의 홀 배치 최적화 기법에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. A deep-sea pressure vessel needs to protect the internal electrical equipment from the high external pressure. Thus, the pressure vessel should be designed to be watertight and structurally safe. In this study, a cylindrical-type pressure vessel comprising a hollow cylinder and cover plates at both ends is investigated. For communication between the internal electronic equipment and the external device, holes are bored on the cover plate to install underwater connectors. Considering the type of internal equipment and underwater connector specifications, multiple holes may be required. These holes can affect the structural safety of the pressure vessel cover plate. In this study, the optimum design of the hole arrangement in consideration of the structural safety of the cover plate was performed.

Purpose: This study investigated the effects of open kinetic chain (OKC) exercise for the gastrocnemius (GCM) and tibialis anterior (TA) muscles on static and dynamic balance and muscle strength. Methods: We recruited 21 healthy participants, dividing them into 3 groups (GCM, TA, and non-exercise). Each group contains 7 participants. Two exercise groups (GCM and TA) performed OKC exercise with elastic bands twice per week for 4 weeks, while non-exercise group did nothing. We obtained the data for static and dynamic balance and muscle strength before and after the intervention. We used the Kruskal-Wallis test to compare and analyze the pre-post-intervention differences among the groups. Results: For static balance, the stability index of the TA group was the lowest for the dynamic platform (p<0.05). The dynamic balance of the TA group increased for the anterior and posteromedial directions (p<0.05). The peak torque increased in the TA group for dorsiflexion (D/F) movement and in the GCM group for plantar flexion movement compared with the other groups, except for the left direction during D/F (p<0.05). Conclusion: OKC exercises with elastic bands were effective for selectively increasing muscle strength. It is clinically thought that strength training for TA muscles will be effective among the muscles of the ankle.

This paper introduces KTX RCM(Reliability-Centered Maintenance) project which is for development of a decision making support system on the KTX maintenance framework. The functionality of the system is composed of (ⅰ) Fundamental Data Management, (ⅱ) Maintenance Goal Management, (ⅲ) Maintenance Program Management, (ⅳ) Cost-Effect Analysis, (ⅴ) Parameter Management. This system may improve existing maintenance Management procedure for rolling stock of KNR.

It’s essential to measure electrical signals of Korea tilting train ""Hanvit 200"" during operation, Because we neep to study operation characteristics of new electric train ""Hanvit 200"" and we want to develop diagnosis system of main circuit of Korea tilting train ""Hanvit 200"". So, we measure electrical signals for developing diagnosis system of ""Hanvit 200"" during operation. We measure voltage and current of the primary winding of main transformer and analyze them. In result, we know that each operation has specific waveform and frequency. In addition, we also measure are currents and are voltage and we know that arc of each situations has specific waveform of pattern.

In this paper, measuring equipment for arcs which are caused by losing contact between a pantograph and a catenary in the electric train, TTX, was designed and we actually measured arcs of current and voltage at 2007. 5. 16 ~ 17, 2007. 5. 31, 2007. 6. 18 - 19 and 2007. 6. 30 ~ 31, a total of 4 times. The FFT tool was made by LabVIEW software and the actually measured arc data were analyzed by the FFT tool. The analysis result showed that the arc current and voltage contains much harmonic, so we must consider problems of EMS and EMI in the main circuit system of the electric train, TTX.
