<▼1><P>Supplemental Digital Content is available in the text</P></▼1><▼2><P><B>Abstract</B></P><P><B>Background:</B></P><P>Bojungikki-tang, a herbal medicine for strengthening the digestive system, has been widely used in East Asian countries since the Yuan Dynasty in China. Moreover, Bojungikki-tang has reportedly exhibited anti-allergy effects in many clinical trials. This systematic review will assess the effectiveness and safety of Bojungikki-tang for allergic rhinitis (AR).</P><P><B>Methods and analysis:</B></P><P>Eleven databases, including Asian databases, will be searched for studies conducted through October 2017. We will include randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing Bojungikki-tang for AR. The risk of bias will be evaluated using the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool, and confidence in the cumulative evidence will be evaluated using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) instrument.</P><P><B>Ethics and dissemination:</B></P><P>This systematic review will be published in a peer-reviewed journal and will also be disseminated electronically and in print. The review will be updated to inform and guide health care practices.</P><P><B>Registration:</B></P><P>The protocol for this systematic review has been registered in PROSPERO (https://www.crd.york.ac.uk/PROSPERO) under number CRD42017068993.</P></▼2>
Efficient Resource Allocation for Multiclass Services in Multiuser OFDM Systems

<P>Although each application has its own quality of service (QoS) requirements, the resource allocation for multiclass services has not been studied adequately in multiuser orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. In this paper, a total transmit power minimization problem for downlink transmission is examined while satisfying multiclass services consisting of different data rates and target bit-error rates (BER). Lagrangian relaxation is used to find an optimal subcarrier allocation criterion in the context of subcarrier time-sharing by all users. We suggest an iterative algorithm using this criterion to find the upper and lower bounds of optimal power consumption. We also propose a prioritized subcarrier allocation (PSA) algorithm that provides low computation cost and performance very close to that of the iterative algorithm. The PSA algorithm employs subcarrier selection order (SSO) in order to decide which user takes its best subcarrier first over other users. The SSO is determined by the data rates, channel gain, and target BER of each user. The proposed algorithms are simulated in various QoS parameters and the fading channel model. Furthermore, resource allocation is performed not only subcarrier by subcarrier but also frequency block by frequency block (comprises several subcarriers). These extensive simulation environments provide a more complete assessment of the proposed algorithms. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithms significantly outperform existing algorithms in terms of total transmit power consumption.</P>

본 연구는 기존 산소발생기의 현황을 파악하여 문제점을 도출하고, 이를 개선한 새로운 컨셉(Concept)의 산소발생기를 개발하는데 그 목적이 있다. 최근 미세먼지가 기승을 부리며 각종 호흡기 질환을 유발하고 있으며, 고령화 사회로 진입이 가속화되면서 폐질환 환자가 증가하고 있다. 이러한 현대 사회에 대응하여, 경증 폐질환 환자를 위한 산소발생기를 주제로 선정하였다. 산소발생기는 일반적으로 실내 공간에서 사용되지만, 실외 공간에서도 필요한 경우가 있기 때문에 실내뿐만 아니라 실외에서도 사용할 수 있는 산소발생기의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 이를 고려하여 실내용 산소발생기에 실외용 산소발생기의 탈착이 가능하도록 구상하였으며, 환자는 하나의 제품으로 실내·외 두 공간에서 자유롭게 활동할 수 있다. 또한 실내용 산소저장탱크에 충전된 산소가 이동하여 실외용 산소저장탱크에도 충전되므로, 실내·외 저장탱크를 각각 충전하기 위한 장치를 별도로 필요로 하지 않아 경제적이다. 분리 가능하게 구비되는 탈착 산소발생기를 개발함으로써 사용자의 편의성과 경제성을 도모하는데 본 연구의 의의가 있다. The purpose of this study is to develop new concept of oxygen concentrator improved the product’s problem by understanding existing oxygen concentrators. Recently, the fine dust is a serious problem that causes all kinds of the respiratory disease by adsorbing our bronchial tubes and lung. As rapidly becoming an aging society, the umber of pulmonary disease patients is increasing now also. In view of this facts, I selected subject of research on an oxygen concentrator for mild pulmonary disease patients. The product is generally used in home, however, patients can need it for outdoor use also. So the product that can be used not only indoors but outdoors is in increasing demand now. On the basis of this facts, I designed a detachable oxygen concentrator so patients can free without space restriction. They can use ONE product in TWO spaces: Indoor and outdoor. An economic advantage is that it’s unnecessary extra devices to storage oxygen between two parts.

The present study aims to assess the efficacy of acupuncture for smoking cessation by conducting a review of the currently available evidence.</P> <P><B>Methods and analysis</B></P> <P>Sixteen databases will be searched for studies conducted through March 2017. We will include randomized controlled trials (RCTs) assessing acupuncture for smoking cessation. All RCTs on acupuncture or related interventions will be included. Risk of bias will be assessed using the Cochrane risk of bias assessment tool, while confidence in the cumulative evidence will be evaluated using the Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE) instrument.</P> <P><B>Ethics and dissemination</B></P> <P>This systematic review will be published in a peer-reviewed journal and will also be disseminated electronically and in print. Awareness of national health insurance-covered dental care of adults in Jeju province

Advancements in medical care resulted in increase of average longevity. In turn, people have become more concerned about health, oral health, and quality of life. Such change has led to need for systematic and prevention-oriented healthcare service. This study aimed to provide preliminary information on the level of familiarity with national health insurance (NHI) benefits by the general public in order to help make decisions regarding education and advertisement policies. 337 adults who visited Korea Association of Health Promotion health examination center in Jeju were given self-administered surveys regarding personal oral health status, familiarity with NHI-covered procedures, and personal interest in oral health, and the results were analyzed statistically. 83.4% answered ‘Yes,’ to awareness of NHI coverage of dental scaling. Most people answered ‘Yes’ to awareness of the fact that NHI-covered dental scaling begins at 19 years of age, while relatively few people were familiar with NHI-covered denture and dental implant procedures. According to this study, many respondents were still not familiar with the expanded NHI coverage. Especially the younger population lacked information on NHI-covered denture and dental implant, indicating need for public education and advertisements. In order to efficiently advertise and educate, joint effort by the government and medical facilities is recommended. Utilization of social media in addition to the more traditional mass media should be effective in conveying information to the younger population. Age-appropriate education for policy change and coverage expansion regarding NHI-covered denture and dental implant is also advised.
