        A Case of Hobnail Hemangioma

        N/A Hobnail hemangioma(HH)is a benign acquired vascular tumor of endothelial origin which should be differentiated from other malignant vascular neoplasm such as Kaposi`s sarcoma or angiosarcoma.We report a case of hobnail hemangioma in a 21-year-old woman who had a dusky-red patch on her left shin.Histologically,ectatic vascular channels with a single layer of plumped endothelial cells were seen and the vascular channels seemed to dissect the collagen bundles.She underwent treatment with surgical excision with primary closure. (Ann Dermatol 14(1)45-47, 2002).

      • 8-Azaxanthine과 그 유도체의 합성 및 시험관내 항암 활성

        8-Azaxanthine(1), 3-β-D-ribofuranosyl-8-azaxanthine(2),3-β-D-ribofuranosyl-8-azaxanthine-5'-monophosphate(3), 그리고 3-β-D-ribofuranosyl-8-azaxanthine-5'-(3-pyridinylcarbonyl)monophosphate(4)를 합성한 후 Mouse leukemia P388,Murine mammary carcinoma FM3A, Human histiocytic lymphoma U937암세포들에 대해 시험관내 항암활성을 MTT를 이용한 방법으로 예측하고 IC_50(μmol/mL)으로 나타내었다. 그 결과, 비정상적인 염기의 N-3와 당의 C-1'glycoside결합을 가진 2는 세가지의 암세포에 대해 감수성이 좋아 IC_50이 각각 0.05, 0.06,0.06μmol/mL이었으나 항세균 활성 예측에서는 감수성을 보이지 않았다. Human histiocytic lymphoma U937세포에 대한 IC_50은 1이 0.33,2는 0.06,3은0.25그리고 4는 0.33μmol/mL로 구조 변화에 따라 서로 다른 값을 보였다. 8-Azaxanthine(1), 3-β-D-ribofuranosyl-8-azaxanthine(2),3-β-D-ribofuranosyl-8-azaxanthine-5'-monophosphate(3), 3-β-D-ribofuranosyl-8-azaxanthine-5'-(3-pyridinylcarbonyl)monophosphate(4) were synthesized. The in vitro antitumor activities of the synthesized compounds against P388 mouse leukemia,FM3A mammary carcinoma, and U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cells were determined by MTT assay. 2 with unnatural N-3 and C-1'glycoside bond had activityagnist three tumor cell lines and IC_50s of these compounds were 0.05,0.06μmol/mL against three tumor cell lines, repectively. But these compounds had no antibacterial activity. IC_50s aganist U937 human histiocytic lymphoma cells were verfied with the structural modification:IC_50s of 1,2,3, and 4 were 0.33,0.06,0.25, and 0.33μmol/mL, respectively.

        지하역사 승강장 및 대합실 평상시/비상시 급ㆍ배기 환기 Large Eddy Simulation

        The turbulent flow behavior of air supply and exhaustion in the Shin-gum-ho subway station is analyzed for ordinary and emergency state. The depth of Shin-gum-ho station is 43.6m which consists of the island-type platform(8th floor in underground) and a two-story lobby (first & second floor in underground). An emergency stairway connects between the platform and the lobby. Ventilation operation mode for ordinary state is set up as a combination of air supply and exhaustion in the lobby and platform, while for emergency state it is set up as a full air supply in the lobby and a full exhaustion in the platform. The entire station is covered for simulation. The ventilation diffusers are modeled as 95 square shapes of 0.6m?0.6m in the lobby and as 222 square shapes of 0.6m×0.6m and 4 rectangular shapes of 1.2m×0.8m in the platform. The total of 7.5million grids are generated and whole domain is divided to 22 blocks for MPI efficiency of calculation. Large eddy simulation(LES) is applied to solve the momentum equation and Smagorinsky model(C<SUB>s</SUB>=0.2) is used as SGS subgrid scale) model. The time-averaged velocity fields are compared to experimental data and show a good agreement with it.

      • 부산시 대기먼지 오염원의 성분비 특성

        It is necessary to establish the reasonable management plans for controlling level of suspended particulate matter that source profile characterization for the suspended particulate matter are analyzed and identified. Therefore, in this study, emission inventory for the sources emitting particulate matter in Pusan area, was made and assessed through investigation and analysis and source profiles which are considered to be important information to identify the relationship between source and receptor, were developed and arranged through the comparison of related of related source profile data. From this study, the following conclusions were obtained. 1. The concentrations of TSP in Pusan were showed higher in winter and spring than in summer and autumn and the concentration and emission quantity of TSP had a close relationships. (r=0.7693) 2. The concentration of the emission quantity of TSP from the regions of Buk-Gu and Saha-Gu was dominant and calculated as 83% of total emission quantity of TSP in Pusan and the variation of that showed less than of the other regions. 3. The larger the fraction of area occupied by building and residential house was, the higher variation of TSP concentration showed. 4. In the fact that the fractions of Al, Si, K, and Ca were showed high, while that of Com Mo, and Cd were showed low, it was exist, and it was remarkable that high fraction of Cl was calculated in transportation source profile of Pusan. 5. From the results of developed source profiles for the selected point sources, it was obtained that the composition fractions of K, Na, and Ca were showed high while those of Co, Se, Mo and Ti were calculated low. And as the scale of emission facility goes larger, the composition fractions showed higher, especially this trend was showed more in alkali and alkaline-earth metals such as K, Mg, and Ca. 6. By the kind of vehicle, speed pattern and sampling place for the source profile of transportation, and used fuel, emission facility, the kind and the scale of industry for that of point sources, it was identified that the source profiles were different from each other. 7. The related study on source profile should be performed to get the reprehensive source profiles for the sources contributed to level of suspended particulate matter in Pusan.

      • 아라키돈산 및 아이코사펜타엔산 생성 곰팡이의 분리 및 생산

        Fungal strains producing extraordinary high amounts of arachidonic acid(ARA) and eicosapentaenoic acid(EPA) were isolated from soil samples and the effects of various culture condition on the production of ARA and EPA were investigated. Three strains of fungi with the high acids yields were identified as Mortierella alpina 49, M. parvispora 58 and M. horticola 73. Highest amounts of EPA and ARA were produced when three strains were cultivated at 18℃ for 4 and 6 days, respectively. When the three strains of fungi were grown in a medium with increase of 5% glucose, EPA production was decreased in every case, whereas ARA production not decreased in every case. There was no significant effect of oxygen on the fungi growth. But the production of EPA and ARA as well as the total fatty acids decreased when cultivated in 200 ml of culture volume in 500 ml flask. When the fungi cultivated for 6 days at 18℃ and stand for 6 days at room temperature, there was no difference in growth amount, while there was increase in the total fatty acid production, i.e., 36% increase as for M. parvispora 58 and 10∼20% as for the other two fungi. Aging didn't influence the EPA production much. the amount of the fungi growth and the total fatty acid production increased with more soybean oil addition as a nutrient of culture medium.

        재벌의 기업집단화에 관한 연구 : 日本の事例を中心に 일본의 사례를 중심으로

        本硏究は,近代化以降の急激な政治および經濟的變化の過程なかで日本の大企業が果たした役割,なかでも戰前の'財閥'と戰後の'企業集團'の成長と變遷の過程に焦点を合わせたものである. すなわち,日本における戰前の財閥の企業集團化過程を時系列的にアブロ-チすることによつて,現在韓國で無分別に使われている財閥と企業集團との槪念を明確にし,その基本的な性格を明らかにすることに硏究の目的をおく. 本硏究をつうじて,日本の場合,少なくとも財閥と企業集團とは國民經濟に える影響やその位置において相當異なる側面が多いとんう認識が一般的であるごとが明らかになつた.さらに財閥と企業集團とは,その生成と歷史的な發展過程,企業形態および構造,そしてその性格と特徵が互いに偉う特質をもつ企業體として區別され通用されている. 一方,韓國では,近年において政府當局によつて進められている一連の'財閥改革'から見られるように,大企業,財閥,企業集團,企業グル-プなど,個別企業體の樣 な形態にたいする明確ながイドラインがいまだ示されていない狀況にある. 韓國經濟がごの頃の'IMF 制'から早期に脫出し,成長基調のもとの力を回復するためには,'大企業(30大)=財閥'だという一般國民が持つている歪んだ企業關と,韓國企業に對する外國からの否定的な認識を改めなければならない.ごのためには,學術的に財閥の觀念を明確にし,その本質的な側面を的確に把握するごとによつて,'大企業政策'または'財閥改革'の正當性と實效性を確保するごとが하よりも肝心であろう.

      • 강수량에 따른 유구천의 어류상과 어류군집에 관한 연구

        To investigate the community analysis of freshwater fish in Yugu-stream near Kongju, a Kumgang river's tributary, the field sampling was carried out from May 1995 to March 1996 at six different stations, with measuring environmental factors of the stream water. Among the environmental factors measured, total suspended solid altruistically increased in the rainy season (24.22 ㎎/l) than in the other seasons (2.38 ∼ 4.36 ㎎/l), while dissolved oxygen decreased in the rainy season (7.15 ppm). The fish collected during this survey were identified 6 families and 36 species, in which 11 species were endemic in Korea. The most dominant species was Zacco platypus with a relative abundance of 54.3%, that accords with a general tendency of the species in most of the Korean streams. Acheilognathus intermedia was observed with 13.4% and Acheilognathus rhombea with 4.3% abundance. Fish in the rainy season were identified 6 family and 32 species, that showed a little less diversity compared to fish in the other seasons. Hemiculter eigenmenni and Erythroculter erythropterus, which usually occur in the main stream of Korean rivers, also showed a relatively high abundance in Yugu-stream. Species richness of Yugu-stream fish increased with a index of 3.69 in the rainy season, while the fish diversity and evenness index decreased.

      • 다공질 실리콘 광검출 소자의 개발(Ⅲ)

        본 연구에서는 선택적인 다공질 실리콘 형성 기법을 이용하여 실리콘 질화막/ITO/PSL 구조의 다공질 실리콘 수광 다이오드를 제조하였다. 제조된 소자는 수광센서 회로의 응용을 위해 TO-5 형태로 패키징 하였다. 제조된 수광 다이오드의 광응답도는 800㎚ 파장 0.73A/W의 매우 높은 값을 나타내었으며 입사광량에 따른 선형 영역은 약 ㎽까지를 매우 우수한 특성을 나타내었다. 또한 -10V의 역방향 바이어스를 인가했을 때도 약 50㎁의 매우 낮은 암전류를 나타내었다. 실제 사용시의 가장 중요한 특성인 시간의 경과에 따른 소자 특성은 소자 제조 후 15주까지도 거의 변화가 없었다. 이러한 특성으로부터 다공질 실리콘 영역을 실리콘 질화막/ITO의 이중구조로 페시배이션함으로 해서 안정된 고효율의 수광 소자를 제조할 수 있었다. 제조된 소자의 순방향 바이어스에서의 I-V 특성은 일반적인 단결정 실리콘 쇼트키 다이오드와 달리 비정질 실리콘 p-i-n 다이오드와 유사한 특성을 나타내었다. 이러한 I-V 특성을 공간제한 전류로 해석함으로써 다공질 실리콘의 매우 높은 이상계수를 설명할 수 있었다. In this research, a porous silicon-based photodiode has been fabricated by selective anodization of Si wafer and deposition of ITO(Indium tin oxide), PECVD silicon nitride as at transparent electrode and as a passivation of the device, respectively. The fabricated photodiode shows a very high photo-responsivity of 0.73A/W at 800㎚ wave length and a fall time of about 14㎲ at 100Ω load resistance. This fabrication method could be adaptable to conventional IC fabrication process. In order to find out the electrical conduction mechanism in the photodiode, metal/porous silicon Schottky diodes have also been fabricated. Their Ⅰ-Ⅴ characteristics are similar to those of p-i-n diodes and amorphous silicon diodes, unlike those of conventional Schottky diodes.
