        가평군 처리구역별 하수발생특성 분석

        To identify the characteristics of wastewater flow generated in treatment basins of Kapyung-Gun, we selected 6 stations representing the basin, and performed 8 times of field survey including 6 times in dry periods and 2 times in wet periods from Oct. 5 to Dec. 10, 2002 for the selected stations. In each survey, we conducted 24-hr water-quality sampling in the interval of 2-hr, and downloaded flow data recorded in automatic-recording types of flowmeter. From the analysis of flow data measured for more than 60 days in the interval of 5 minutes and concentration data obtained from laboratory analysis, we can draw several conclusions. First, in the analysis of diurnal variation of wastewater flow for landuse types, we could find the following results: in the commercial (tourism) area, it is observed that wastewater flowrates rise early in the morning at the office-going hour and move up and down repeatedly within narrow range and last till the office-leaving hour, which can be resulted from wastewater that is generated by tourists activated after early in the afternoon, while for the community and residential area flowrates rise early in the morning for the office-going hour and fall gradually and rise again after the office-leaving hour, showing typical residential wastewater flow pattern. Second, in the analysis of temporal variation of wastewater flow for weekdays and weekends, it can be observed that without landuse types the flowrate of weekends is higher than that of weekdays because it reflects population, being not contributed to generate wastewater during the working hours of weekdays, stay home and produce wastewater for weekends. Third, in wet periods concentration of water-quality items such as SS, BOD, and COD_Cr is high in the beginning of rainfall by first flush, and falls down gradually to reach the steady state, which is the level of wastewater in dry periods after the cease of stormwater due to diluting effect resulting from additional runoff water through storm sewers.

        In order to quantify the impact of excess heat discharged from hot spring at Gimcheon on the receiving water, we examined water temperature and its variation representing the state of a water body as a result of heat inputs. To compute the water temperature according to distance downstream, we used a heat balance equation developed by Edinger et. al, assuming the steady state. Under possible circumstances, we made several scenarios according to quantity and temperature of discharged weter, and simulated for the conditions. Based on the results, the impact of scenario 5, which is the best condition for the receiving water, still influences to Gamcheon lake, in which is located 7.5㎞ from the outlet receiving heated water, that will be constructed for preventing flood and providing water resources for adjacent communities.

        하수관거 I/I 분석 프로그램 개발 및 구리시 관내 하수처리구역에 적용

        A program was developed to compute infiltration and inflow analysis, and GUI was designed and added in the computational modules for a better understanding and convenient usage for users, named SM-Sewer. The system consists of four modules such as environmental database module for spatial data and their attribute data, filtering module for irregular data, missing data or outllers, I/l analysis module for continuously measured flow data, management module for I/l analyzed results. The modules were integrated using Visual Basic language under Windows Me environment for PC with a management panel, including menu bars, button bars, and tool bars. Using SM-Sewer, the system developed in this study, we performed I/l analysis for wastewater treatment areas of Guri city. According to the results of the analysis, ratio of infiltrated flow to total flow for station Guri-3 takes up 30% and was the highest among the 6 stations. To determine the rank for rehabilitation of sewer system, infiltration rate was computed by dividing by mean diameter and total length of sewer for infiltration. The analysed results show Guri-1 ranked as the first since the mean diameter and total length was large enough compared to the amount of infiltration. Accordingly, rehabilitation program for sewer should be gradually proceeded reflecting the rank determined based on the result of infiltration rate.

      • 하수관거관리 시스템 구축에 관한 연구 : 가평군, 양평군을 중심으로

        In order to quantify the characteristics of waterwater, we conducted 8 times of field survey from Oct. 5 to Dec. 10, 2002 for the selected stations of sewage treatment basins at Gapyung-Gun and Yangpyung-Gun. In each survey, we performed 24- ??hr water quality sampling in the interval of 2- ??hr and collected flowdata measured in the interval of 5 to 10 minutes for more than 60 days. From the water-quality analysis, we collected data from various items according to time and station, and stored databases. At this point, effective management and storage techniques of the data are imperative to show information with the location of the sites concerned. Geographic information system is introduced to manage databases and to present the information effectively with graphics. In this study, we constructed a system that could aid ??decesion maker to predict the consequences of various water quality management decesion. The developed wywten could perform a series of these procedures and display the result with map through the computer screen and analyse the current status of environmental quality using ArcView GIS with Excel and Access.

        천안/아산권역내 곡교천의 수질분석 및 지리정보체계를 이용한 유역 오염원 관리방안에 관한 연구

        Chonan and Asan city have been a focal point due to rapid development as the first station for Express Railroad and key cities West Coast Development Region. Gokgyo stream adjacent to the cities plays an important role as a drainage channel for an agriculture and a discharger of urban storm water. Water quality of the stream has been deteriorating caused by pollution sources such as a untreated wastewater discharge and runoff from the watershed. In this study, we conducted 4 surveys in April, May, July, and September to understand the current state of water quality for the stream and to make it possibe to predict future water-quality variation for future development. The system runs on a personal computer under the windows enviroment and provides extensive graphics using graphic user interface(GUI) for user-friendly assessment. Using the pull-down menus provided by the GUI panel, the user is able to operate the system by pointing and clicking the icon to identify the state of water-quality at locations concerned. Furthermore, we developed an integrated watershed management system. The constructed system could be a useful tool as a decesion maker for pollution source control strategy.

      • WIPI 플랫폼에서 모바일 인터넷 컨텐츠 프로그램 구현

        본 논문은 각 이동통신사의 독자적인 플랫폼에 종속적인 컨텐츠 개발을 탈피하여 단말기와 컨텐츠 개발에 독립적이고 개방된 한국형 모바일 표준 플랫폼인 WIPI를 이용하여 모바일과 PC간의 전자 메일 및 채팅 프로그램을 구현하였다. 기존의 전자 메일 및 채팅 프로그램은 주로 PC와 PC 간에 이루어졌어나 본 논문에서는 이동성을 특징으로 하는 모바일을 통해 PC, 모바일과 모바일 간의 전자 메일 및 채팅이 가능하도록 구현하였으므로 향후 다양한 모바일 컨텐츠 개발에 기여되리라 본다. In this paper, I implemented an e-mail and chat program (client) for communication between mobile devices and PCs based on WIPI, a South Korea's open wireless platform form developing device and content independent software to break from the way of developing contents that is dependent on different wireless platforms to each mobile communications company. While traditional e-mail and chat programs are written for PC-to-PC communication, I develop them for mobile-to-PC and mobile-to-mobile communications, and I expect to see various mobile contents in the future.

      • 위피(WIPI) 플랫폼에 의한 모바일 컨텐츠 (DQQ) 개발

        본 논문에서는 무선 인터넷 플랫폼에 관해 고찰하고 한국형 무선 인터넷 플랫폼 표준인 WIPI를 이용하여 DQQ(Daegu University Quiz Quiz)라는 모바일 게임 컨텐츠를 제작하였다. 이 DQQ는 Java 언어 기반의 플랫폼에서 Jlet을 사용하여 제작 되었고, 학교 실제 지도와 실제 건물 사진을 제공하여 사실성을 높였다. 또한 네트워크 게임 기능을 구현하여 커뮤니케이션을 하면서 서로간 게임을 할 수 있다. 한편 이 DQQ는 신입생, 재학생 및 편입생을 대상으로 학교 소개 및 학사 시스템 사용법을 퀴즈라는 형태로 제작하여 누구라도 쉽게 접근할 수 있도록 하였고 다소 까다로운 학사 시스템 사용법을 쉽게 습득하도록 제작되었다. This paper presents the review of mobile internet platform and a mobile game contents named DQQ using WIPI. I present this DQQ system that used Jlet in the platform of Java language foundation. The school actual map and actual building pictures came to make the real scene provide. This DQQ used the form of quizes to show a school introduction and an university graduate system usage. So the students, freshmen and enrolled students can use this DQQ more easily.

      • 백서 재생간의 DNA topoisomerase Ⅰ 에 관한 연구

        The study was performed to evaluate changes of activity of DNA topoisomerase I that controls and modifies the topological state of DNA according to postoperative days after partial hepatectomy. The results of this experimental study were summarized as follows : 1. The liver mass doubles during the first 48 hours, and the rate of regeneration is greatest between first and second days after partial hepatectomy. 2. 25% of enzyme activity was increased in the first 12 hours in comparison with that of control after partial hepatectomy. The second days showed maximal increment. 200% in comparison with that of control. Later, enzyme activity was decreased till the seventh days after partial hepatectomy. 3. DNA Topo I was inhibited very slightly be camptothecin but 50% of enzyme activity was inhibited at 50μM of 10-hydroxycamptothecin. 4. In the case of spermine. 0.1mM. Complex formation was highest as 0.1mM spermine. 5. The enzyme shows a pH optimum around 6.4, but enzyme activity is seen within a broad range between pH 5.8 and 9.0. 6. The enzyme is completely inactivated by heat treatment for 5 minutes at 50℃. 7. 2mM Mg^2+ activates the enzyme activity over 3-folds. Cu^2+, Zn^2+ completely inhibit it and Mn^2+, Co^2+, and Se^2+ inhibit upto 40%, 40% and 60% at 2mM respectively. 8. There was no sighificant difference between resection and regeneration liver. These results suggested that the role of DNA topoisomerase I is related to 2nd peak of DNA synthesis in regeneration of liver after partial hepatectomy.

      • Tubulin Polymerization에 대한 Colchicine의 영향

        Although the inhibition of microtubule assembly by colchicine is well established, the paradoxical effect of colchicine in the centriole, cilia and basal body is not clear. The microtubule(MADBP^+) was prepared from rabbit brain through 2 cycles of glycerol-and GTP-mediated polymerization and the tubulin without DNA binding protein(MADBP^-) was prepared from MADBP^+ using double strand DNA column chromatography and the properties of these tubulin preparation were compared with those of MADBP^+. The time course of tubulin polymerization was different, with MADBP^+ being sigmoidal and MADBP^- being hyperbolic. MADBP^+ polymerization could be inhibited by colchicine, whereas MADBP^- polymerization could not. There was little difference in colchicine binding activity between MADBP^+ and MADBP^- and the initial binding velocity of MADBP^- was faster than MADBP^-. From the above results, the possible existence of colchicine sensitive protein among microtubule associated DNA binding proteins was discussed.

      • Tubulin Polymerization에 대한 Podophyllotoxin의 영향

        Although the inhibition of microtubule assembly by podophyllotoxin is well established, the mediatory effect of some microtubule associated proteins for inhibition by podophyllotoxin is not clear. The microtubule(MADBP^+) was prepared from rabbit brain through 2 cycles of polymerization-depolymerization and the tubulin without DNA binding protein(MADBP^-) was prepared from MADBP^+ using double strand DNA-cellulose column chromatography and the properties of these tubulin preparation were compared with those of MADBP^+ being sigmoidal and MADBP^- being hyperbolic. MADBP^+ polymerization could he inhibited by podophyllotoxin, whereas MADBP^- polymerization could not. In the various concentration of podophyllotoain, there was little difference in colchicine binding activity between MADBP^- and MADBP^-. In the 2μM concentration of podophyllotoxin, the colchicine binding to MADBP^+ and MADBP^- were competitively inhibited with same extension. From the above results, the possible existence of some proteins which mediates the inhibitory effect of podophyllotoxin for tubulin polymerization was discussed.
