A Data Hiding Scheme Based on Turtle-shell for AMBTC Compressed Images
( Chin-feng Lee ),( Chin-chen Chang ),( Guan-long Li ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2020 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.14 No.6
Data hiding technology hides secret information into the carrier, so that when the carrier is transmitted over network, it will not attract any malicious attention. Using data compression, it is possible to reduce the data size into a small compressed code, which can effectively reduce the time when transmitting compressed code on the network. In this paper, the main objective is to effectively combine these two technologies. We designed a data hiding scheme based on two techniques which are turtle-shell information hiding scheme and absolute moment block truncation coding. The experimental results showed that the proposed scheme provided higher embedding capacity and better image quality than other hiding schemes which were based on absolute moment block truncation coding.
A Robust and Removable Watermarking Scheme Using Singular Value Decomposition
( Ya-feng Di ),( Chin-feng Lee ),( Zhi-hui Wang ),( Chin-chen Chang ),( Jianjun Li ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2016 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.10 No.12
Digital watermarking techniques are widely applied to protect the integrity and copyright of digital content. In a majority of the literature for watermarking techniques, the watermarked image often causes some distortions after embedding a watermark. For image-quality-concerned users, the distortions from a watermarked image are unacceptable. In this article, we propose a removable watermarking scheme that can restore an original-like image and resist signal-processing attacks to protect the ownership of an image by utilizing the property of singular value decomposition (SVD). The experimental results reveal that the proposed scheme meets the requirements of watermarking robustness, and also reestablishes an image like the original with average PSNR values of 59.07 dB for reconstructed images.

Effects of substrate treatment on the electroluminescence performance of flexible OLEDs
Chin H.Chen,Shih Feng Hsu,Shiao Wen Hwang,Shih-Nan Lee 한국물리학회 2004 Current Applied Physics Vol.4 No.6
Electroluminescence (EL) performance of exible organic light-emitting device (FOLED) has been found to be highly dependentupon the morphology of the surface of the indium thin oxide (ITO)/plastic substrate as well as the patterning and processingconditions of the substrate. We will present evidence showing that luminance eciency of FOLED can be greatly improved bypretreatment. Surface analysis of the ITO/PET by means of atomic force microscope (AFM) and optical microscope will becompared with that of the ITO/glass and the inuence of exible OLEDs substrate treatment by various methods on EL perfor-mance will also be discussed.
Fabrication of blue top-emitting organic light-emitting devices with highly saturated color
Chin H.Chen,Chung-Chun Lee,Andrew T.Hu,Shih Feng Hsu 한국물리학회 2004 Current Applied Physics Vol.4 No.6
Blue top-emitting organic light-emitting devices (TOLEDs) with highly saturated color were developed by microcavity eect. Thedevice structure studied was glass/reective silver/indium-tin oxide (ITO)/organic electroluminescent stack/semi-transparent cathode(calcium/silver). By changing the thicknesses of ITO and organic layers in the microcavity structure device doped withp-bis(p-N,N-di-phenyl-aminostyryl)benzene (DSA-ph), highly saturated color with Commission Internationale de L’Eclairage chromaticitycoordinates (CIEx;y) of (0.14, 0.08) was obtained.

Home Energy Management System for Interconnecting and Sensing of Electric Appliances
( Wei-ting Cho ),( Chin-feng Lai ),( Yueh-min Huang ),( Wei-tsong Lee ),( Sing-wei Huang ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2011 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.5 No.7
Due to the variety of household electric devices and different power consumption habits of consumers at present, general home energy management (HEM) systems suffer from the lack of dynamic identification of various household appliances and a unidirectional information display. This study presented a set of intelligent interconnection network systems for electric appliances, which can measure the power consumption of household appliances through a current sensing device based on OSGi platform. The system establishes the characteristics and categories of related electric appliances, and searches the corresponding cluster data and eliminates noise for recognition functionality and error detection mechanism of electric appliances by applying the clustering algorithm. The system also integrates household appliance control network services so as to control them according to users` power consumption plans or through mobile devices, thus realizing a bidirectional monitoring service. When the system detects an abnormal operating state, it can automatically shut off electric appliances to avoid accidents. In practical tests, the system reached a recognition rate of 95%, and could successfully control general household appliances through the ZigBee network.
