      • Psychological capital to foster employee creativity in nanotechnology companies: the mediating role of JS and CSR

        Yuchun Li,Meilin Li,Xiangtong Kong,Arefeh Baniasadi,Ahmed Hasan Shaker,H. Elhosiny Ali Techno-Press 2023 Advances in nano research Vol.15 No.3

This research aims to explore factors influencing creativity among the employees of nanotechnology companies. Further, this survey aimed to investigate the role of psychological capital (PS), job satisfaction (JS) and corporate social responsibility (CSR) as sources to foster creativity. Participants included 375 employees of nanotechnology companies in China. Sequential mediation analysis revealed that creativity was significantly influenced by psychological capital, job satisfaction and corporate social responsibility. Furthermore, not only psychological capital, job satisfaction and corporate social responsibility were directly and indirectly related to creativity but also explained 67.35% variance of it. It seems that having more psychological resources, more well-being and good feelings concerning performance in the workspace and the efforts of companies to improve employee welfare are among the most important factors in increasing employee creativity. Our findings can help companies, especially nontechnology companies, in focusing on factors fostering the creativity of employees, because creativity enhances and promotes the performance and success of companies.

MiR-200-3p inhibits tumor cell proliferation and induces apoptosis by upregulation of FOXO1 in Osteosarcoma cells

Yuchun Li,Yuxian Wu 대한독성 유전단백체 학회 2018 Molecular & cellular toxicology Vol.14 No.1

Osteosarcoma has been reported as a severe and worldwide clinical problem, research focusing on osteosarcoma for overall analysis and understanding of the mechanism will be of great importance for theoretical basis and treatment of osteosarcoma. In the present study, we sought to explore the correlation of miR-200-3p with osteosarcoma proliferation, apoptosis and the related signaling pathway. MTT, flow cytometry, qRT-PCR and western blot were separately used to test the influence of miR-200-3p on cells proliferation, cells apopsotis and the FOXO expression. The results shown that miR-200-3p inhibits cell viability, and promotes apoptosis in Saos-2 and U2OS. The wertern blot results proved the overexpression of miR200-3p can activate the FOXO signaling pathway by upregulating FOXO1 expression.

SUPERCONVERGENCE AND A POSTERIORI ERROR ESTIMATES OF VARIATIONAL DISCRETIZATION FOR ELLIPTIC CONTROL PROBLEMS

Yuchun Hua,Yuelong Tang 한국전산응용수학회 2014 Journal of applied mathematics & informatics Vol.32 No.5

In this paper, we investigate a variational discretization approximation of elliptic optimal control problems with control constraints. The state and the co-state are approximated by piecewise linear functions, while the control is not directly discretized. By using some proper intermediate variables, we derive a second-order convergence in L²-norm and superconvergence between the numerical solution and elliptic projection of the exact solution in H¹-norm or the gradient of the exact solution and recovery gradient in L²-norm. Then we construct a posteriori error estimates by using the superconvergence results and do some numerical experiments to confirm our theoretical results.

Genomic Correlates of Unfavorable Outcome in Locally Advanced Cervical Cancer Treated with Neoadjuvant Chemoradiation

        Yuchun Wei,Chuqing Wei,Liang Chen,Ning Liu,Qiuxiang Ou,Jiani C. Yin,Jiaohui Pang,Zhenhao Fang,Xue Wu,Xiaonan Wang,Dianbin Mu,Yang Shao,Jinming Yu,Shuanghu Yuan 대한암학회 2022 Cancer Research and Treatment Vol.54 No.4

Purpose Neoadjuvant therapy modality can increase the operability rate and mitigate pathological risks in locally advanced cervical cancer, but treatment response varies widely. It remains unclear whether genetic alterations correlate with the response to neoadjuvant therapy and disease-free survival (DFS) in locally advanced cervical cancer. Materials and Methods A total of 62 locally advanced cervical cancer (stage IB-IIA) patients who received neoadjuvant chemoradiation plus radical hysterectomy were retrospectively analyzed. Patients’ tumor biopsy samples were comprehensively profiled using targeted next generation sequencing. Pathologic response to neoadjuvant treatment and DFS were evaluated against the association with genomic traits. Results Genetic alterations of PIK3CA were most frequent (37%), comparable to that of Caucasian populations from The Cancer Genome Atlas. The mutation frequency of genes including TERT, POLD1, NOS2, and FGFR3 was significantly higher in Chinese patients whereas RPTOR, EGFR, and TP53 were underrepresented in comparison to Caucasians. Germline mutations were identified in 21% (13/62) of the cohort and more than half (57%) had mutations in DNA damage repair genes, including BRCA1/2, TP53 and PALB2. Importantly, high tumor mutation burden, TP53 polymorphism (rs1042522), and KEAP1 mutations were found to be associated with poor pathologic response to neoadjuvant chemoradiation treatment. KEAP1 mutations, PIK3CA-SOX2 co-amplification, TERC copy number gain, and TYMS polymorphism correlated with an increased risk of disease relapse. Conclusion We report the genomic profile of locally advanced cervical cancer patients and the distinction between Asian and Caucasian cohorts. Our findings highlight genomic traits associated with unfavorable neoadjuvant chemoradiation response and a higher risk of early disease recurrence. • Color Mosaic - color sampling with automatic pixelation versus subjective selection

        Yuchun Yan,Hyeon-Jeong Suk(석현정) 한국색채학회 2018 한국색채학회 학술대회 Vol.2018 No.5

Color sampling in graphic design is an important skill to enhance the color sense of artwork. For designers, pixelating is a common filter to sample color of an image. However, the automatic approach might not be powerful enough to present key color affectively. This study is conducted to understand how color sampling differs between automatic pixelation and subjective selection. 28 participants conducted color sampling with 2 methods for their selected images and summarized the color changes with L*, C* and h* value in CIELCh color space. Subjective selections save salient colors on chips that are complex in details, especially for portraits, animals and artificial environment. While automatic pixelation performs perfectly on colors on chips that are uniform and simple, especially for scenery, plants and food. Furthermore, compared with automatic pixelation, subjective selection usually uses increased contrast and chroma together with shifted hue for color sampling. This reveals that perceived color sampling pursues a vivid color mosaic with emphasis on concerned area.

Auto-parametric resonance of framed structures under periodic excitations

        Yuchun Li,Hongliang Gou,Long Zhang,Chenyu Chang 국제구조공학회 2017 Structural Engineering and Mechanics, An Int'l Jou Vol.61 No.4

A framed structure may be composed of two sub-structures, which are linked by a hinged joint. One sub-structure is the primary system and the other is the secondary system. The primary system, which is subjected to the periodic external load, can give rise to an auto-parametric resonance of the second system. Considering the geometric-stiffness effect produced by the axially internal force, the element equation of motion is derived by the extended Hamilton\'s principle. The element equations are then assembled into the global non-homogeneous Mathieu-Hill equations. The Newmark\'s method is introduced to solve the time-history responses of the non-homogeneous Mathieu-Hill equations. The energy-growth exponent/coefficient (EGE/EGC) and a finite-time Lyapunov exponent (FLE) are proposed for determining the auto-parametric instability boundaries of the structural system. The auto-parametric instabilities are numerically analyzed for the two frames. The influence of relative stiffness between the primary and secondary systems on the auto-parametric instability boundaries is investigated. A phenomenon of the \"auto-parametric internal resonance\" (the auto-parametric resonance of the second system induced by a normal resonance of the primary system) is predicted through the two numerical examples. The risk of auto-parametric internal resonance is emphasized. An auto-parametric resonance experiment of a

The effect of blast-induced vibration on the stability of underground water-sealed gas storage caverns

        Yuchun Zhou,Li Wu,Jialong Li,Qing Yuan 한국자원공학회 2018 Geosystem engineering Vol.21 No.6

Underground water-sealed gas storage caverns have become the primary method for strategic storage of LPG. Previous studies of excavation blasting effects on large-scale underground water-sealed gas storage caverns are rare at home and abroad. In this paper, the blasting excavation for underground water-sealed propane storage caverns in Yantai was introduced and field tests of blasting vibration were carried out. Field test data showed that the horizontal radial velocity had a major controlling effect in the blasting vibration and frequencies would not cause the vibration velocity concentration effects. In terms of the influence of blasting vibration on adjacent caverns, the dynamic finite element model in LS-DYNA soft was established, whose reliability was verified by field test data. The numerical results indicated the near-blasting side was primary zone for the structural failure and tensile failure tended to occur in the middle of the curved wall on the near-blasting side. Meanwhile, the safety criterions for adjacent caverns based on stress wave theory and according to statistic relationship between peak effective tensile stress and peak particle velocities were obtained, respectively. Finally, with Safety Regulations for Blasting in China (GB6722-2014) taken into account, a final safety criterion was proposed.
