This paper is intended to inquire into not only the origin and changing process of the Japanese honorific prefix "0" (お), but the modern usage of the prefix. Thoug there has been much dispute among scholars about the origin of the prefix, much emphasis has been given, in elucidating its origin, to the phonological point of view in this paper. The Japanese honorific prefixes which are being used in addition to "O" are as follows: "OO" (おほ), "OOmi" (おほみ), "mi (み), "OON" (おほん), "ON" (おん), "go" (ご), "gyo" (ぎょ)etc. All of these forms are variants of the Korean sound of a Chinese character "御", as is also verified in this paper. Therefore, "O" and "mi" as well as "go" are not original Japanese sounds but merely Korean sounds of the Chinese character "御". The fact that the prefix "O" (お) is enjoying prevalent use among modern honorific prefixes except "to" (ご) which is limited in use is due to the above-mentioned reason. Finally, the correct usage between "O" (お) and "go" (ご) has been surveyed.

The specified industrial wastes increased 26% annually during the last 5 years from 1984 to 1988 in Korea, and the special treatment and proper management are required. The effective methods are studied on the process of generation, keeping, transportation, and treatment/disposal for specified industrial wastes and materials. Also, in this paper, the author describes the plans to develop the public disposal facilities and manage specific industrial waste properly in Korea.

The Zoo Story : 소외의 인식과 구제의 제시 The Awareness of Alienation and the Presentation of Salvation

The purpose of this thesis is to trace Albee's artistic vision, which is essentially an affirmative existentialist world view, and re-examine the existential revolt or metaphysical rebellion against the state of man in the universe and analyze the American society of broken images, of alienation of man in a world which has become unintelligibly complex, of the impossibly difficult task of maintaining one's individuality and consciouseness, and of the human possibility that God is dead. The Zoo Story consists of an encounter between the two men - Peter, anxious at all cost to avoid human contact, and Jerry, alarmingly irrational, apparently determined to provoke some response from the man he encounters. The process of the play is the slow revelation of the nature of Jerry's convictions, the elabolation of a myth which he himself only seems to understand through the process of narration. Albee's impetus to investigate man's metaphysical state and subsequent revolt and improve the human condition was based on what he defined as its basic purpose: "to make a man face up to the human condition as it really is. . ." The entire human condition is a zoo of people (and animals) forever separated by bars. Jerry seeks to break down the bars and cages which keeps Peter, his family, and those like them isolated in their own little zoos. As a beginning of the quests of human nature and conditions in the contemporary American society, Albee expresses the shallowness and meaninglessness of contemporary American society in tracing the progression from a life of illusion and isolation to one of awareness. The main points of emphasis seem to be that salvation for a man like Peter is possible, even though it may come at a high price, and that a mere man can freely elect to penetrate the isolation and illusion of another through a direct confrontation. Thus Jerry's sacrifice is a supreme act of love and it is an critical presentation of the absurdity of existence.

The addition of hydrogen during the evaporation of germanium has been shown to improve the electrical properties of the resulting a-Ge film considerably by saturation of dangling bonds, if the dissociation of molecular hydrogen by high voltage AC discharge takes place. Evaporation onto a substrate at 200℃ in the mood of hydrogen plasma has been shown to yield a film which shows a high resistance and an activated type conduction(with an activation energy of 0.38eV) above room temperature.

The few modern studies of the history of linguistics have typically taken the position that "tout ce qui est anterieur au XIXe siecle, n etant pas encore de la linguistique, peut etre expedie en quelques lignes. in recent years, there has been a noticeable reawakening of interest in questions that were, in fact, studied in a serious and fruitful way during the seventeenth, eighteenth, and early nineteenth centuries, though rarely since. Furthermore, this return to classical concerns has led to a rediscovery of much that was well understood in this period-what I will call the period of Cartesian linguistics, for reasons that will be sketched below. Linguistics and cognitive psychology are now turning their attention to approaches to the study of language structure and mental processes which in part originated and in part were revitalized in the "century of genius" and which were fruitfully developed until well into the nineteeth century. It is important to bear in mind that the survey that has been presented here is a very fragmentary and therefore in some ways a mis-leading one. Certain major figures-Kant, for exaimple have not been mentioned or have been inadequately discussed, and a certain distortion is introduced by the organization of this survey, as a projection backwards of certain ideas of contemporary interest rather than as a systematic presentation of the framework within which these ideas arose and found their place.

Benson's Group Additivity Method를 이용한 다환방향족 탄화수소화합물의 열역학적 물성치에 대한 평가

넓은 온도범위에 따른 정확한 열역학적 물성치들은 연소나 Rocket propulsion등 반응 메카니즘을 이해하기 위해서 기본적으로 필요하다. Benson's group additivity method는 기체상분자들과 라디칼의 엔탈피, 엔트로피, 열용량을 평가하는 방법이다. 본 연구의 목적은 문헌치를 이용할 수 없는 종류들의 열역학적 물성치들을 평가하는 것이다. Benson's method에 의한 computer code인 THERM 을 이용해 PAHs 와 할로겐 화합물의 열역학적 물성치들을 평가해 보았다. PAH's와 할로겐 화합물의 엔탈피를 문헌치와 비교해 본 결과 문헌치와 평가치와의 편차는 클로로벤젠 0.0KJ/mol에서 Pyrene 15.11KJ/mol의 범위를 나타내었으며, 평가오차는 0.0%에서 7.0%의 범위를 나타낸다. 또한 온도에 따른 반응열, 엔트로피변화량, Gibbs 자유에너지와 평형상수를 계산했다. Accurate thermodynamic property data over a wide temperature range is required to know detailed reaction mechanisms in combustion, rocket propulsion, and so on. Benson's group additivity method is an accurate method for the estimation of ideal gas phase enthalpies, entropies and heat capacities of molecules and radicals. The purpose of this study is to estimate thermodynamic properties for species which are not available in literature. The thermodynamic properties(enthalpy, entropy, heat capacity) of PAHs and halogen compounds are estimated by THERM based on Benson's group additivity method. Enthalpies(H) for PAHs and halogen compounds are compared with literature values obtained from various sources. Deviations between literature values and estimates range from 0.0 KJ/mol for chlorobenzene to 15.11 KJ/mol for pyene and % errors do from 0.0% to 7.0%. In addition, heat of reation, entropy change, Gibbs free energy change, and equilibrium constant are calculated as functions of temperature.

의류제품 구매에 있어서 유통채널갈등과 가격단서 지각

Differentiated On Off line channel strategies are getting more attention due to conflicts between Off line channel and active E commerce. Choosing an appropriate channel strategy can prevent apparel products from clashing in market and manage each channel more efficiently. In fashion industry, product prices are flexible because of the short product life cycle and different distribution channels. It is essential to understand consumers’ apparel price cue perception when purchasing apparel in both On line and Off line. The objectives of this study was to examine the effects of apparel price cues on perceived savings and purchase intention in On line versus Off line retail channel. 303 quetionnaires from internet experienced women were used for the data analysis. Statistical analyses employed in this study were descriptive statistics, reliabilities conjoint analysis and regression. Overall, the perceived importance of apparel price cues were different between On line and Off line channels and each apparel price cue affected perceived savings and purchase intention differently according to distribution channels. Therefore, by considering characteristics of apparel price cue in On line versus Off line channels, differentiated channel strategies should be imposed to implement more effective marketing strategies.
