In this note we establish a new non-convex hybrid iteration algorithm corresponding to Khan iterative process [4] and prove strong convergence theorems of common fixed points for a uniformly closed asymptotically family of countable quasi-Lipschitz mappings in Hilbert spaces. Moreover, the main results are applied to get the common fixed points of finite family of quasi-asymptotically nonexpansive mappings. The results presented in this article are interesting extensions of some current results.
Smart Vehicle Parking Management System using Image Processing
Waqas, Maria,Iftikhar, Umar,Safwan, Muhammad,Abidin, Zain Ul,Saud, Ahmed International Journal of Computer ScienceNetwork S 2021 International journal of computer science and netw Vol.21 No.8
The term parking management system usually refers to the custom built hardware intensive systems installed in building and malls. However, there are many places where such expensive solutions cannot be installed due to various reasons, like cost and urgent/temporary setup requirements. This project focuses on developing a parking management system based on image processing to detect vacant parking slot in an area where automated systems are not installed. Camera images of the parking area are subjected to image processing algorithm which marks virtual slots in the area and extracts occupancy information to guide the incoming drivers about availability and position of vacant spaces. The application consists of two interfaces: one for the guidance of the incoming drivers and the other one for the administrator. The later interface also informs the administrator if a car is not parked properly in the virtual slot. This parking system would reduce the stress and time wastage associated with car parking and would make the management of such areas less costly.
Capacity Analysis of RIS-based Communications Under Transceiver Impairments
Waqas Khalid,Heejung Yu 한국통신학회 2021 한국통신학회 학술대회논문집 Vol.2021 No.6
In this paper, we consider a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS)-aided wireless communication without a direct link. The large-scale path loss model, and residual hardware impairment (RHI), taking into account the physical characteristics of RIS, and practical nature of transceiver equipment, respectively, are considered. By employing the Rayleigh distribution for small-scale fading and the central limit theorem (CLT) approximation for number of reflecting surfaces, we derive the distribution of SNR, and consequently, the tractable expression of ergodic achievable rate for the analysis. We analyze the factors, including effective incident angle and size of RIS, and number of reflecting surfaces, and RHI Level, that influence the ergodic achievable rate, by simulation results.

Aluminum sulfate, Ferric chloride, Ferrous sulfate and Sodium bisulfate used on poultry litter in the past individually at different concentration to reduce environmental pollution and increase chicken productivity. Poultry litter is also rich in nutrients which can be used as a fertilizer to crops. In this study we evaluate the effects of Alum and Ferric chloride as a blend on poultry litter characteristics. There were total five treatments Control, T1, T2, T3 and T4. Five Boxes (70 × 40 × 43 cm) were used for this experiment, in each box 1 kg fresh chicken manure and 4 kg sawdust were mixed thoroughly. NH3 and CO₂ emission, pH, EC, Moisture content, Total and Water Soluble nutrients of poultry litter were determined after applying blend of Alum and ferric chloride to T1, T2, T3 and T4 at concentration of (5%+5%), (2.5%+5%), (5%+2.5%), and (2.5%+2.5%) of litter respectively. All the parameters except from nutrients were checked on weekly basis up to six weeks. Nutrients were checked after 1 and 42 days of applying chemicals. NH3, CO₂ emission in control treatment were recorded high from other treatments throughout the experiment but reduced with time due to reduction in moisture content. In other treatments NH3 were 0 ppm at first 2 weeks then the emission starts slowly between 3rd and 6th weeks. At end of 6th week lowest NH3 and CO₂ emission was recorded at T1. pH and EC showed the inverse relationship, in control treatment high pH and low EC values were found, and in other treatments low pH and high EC values were found. After 42 days Nitrogen were reduces significantly from control treatment, the high N content were found in T1. Water Soluble Phosphorus were much lower in treated poultry litters than untreated both after 1 day and 42 days. These data give us an indication that use of Alum and Ferric chloride as a blend can be more useful amendments for reducing NH3, CO₂, pH and Moisture content which help in poultry productivity, controlling pollution and poultry litter as a fertilizer.
Country-Level Institutional Quality and Public Debt: Empirical Evidence from Pakistan
Waqas MEHMOOD,Rasidah MOHD-RASHID,Attia AMAN-ULLAH,Chui ZI ONG 한국유통과학회 2021 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.8 No.4
This paper aims to investigate the relationship between country-level institutional quality and public debt in the context of Pakistan. The hypotheses of this study were assessed by using the country-level institutional quality data for Pakistan throughout the years from 1996 to 2018. Data came from the World Databank, IMF and Worldwide Governance Indicators databases. For the analysis, ordinary least square, quantile regression and robust regression were employed to assess the factors influencing the public debt. The results of this study indicate that the factors of voice and accountability, regulatory quality, and control of corruption have a positive and significant relationship with public debt, while political stability, government effectiveness, and the rule of law have a negative and significant effect on public debt. Based on the findings, a weak country-level institutional quality poses a substantial market risk as it signals the existence of an unfavorable economic condition that raises public debt. It was also revealed that an improved performance of country-level institutional quality can lead to the improvement of financial market transparency, hence reduce public debt. In contrast to previous studies, the present study will be breaking ground in enhancing public insight regarding the impact of country-level institutional quality on Pakistan’s public debt.

The technological advancement in computer vision has made system like grab-and-go grocery a reality. Now all the shoppers have to do now is to walk in grab the items and go out without having to wait in the long queues. This paper presents an intelligent retail environment system that is capable of monitoring and tracking customer's activity during shopping based on their interaction with the shelf. It aims to develop a system that is low cost, easy to mount and exhibit adequate performance in real environment.

<P>The first step in the conventional approach to self-assembled biomaterials is to develop well-defined nano structures in vitro, which is followed by disruption of the preformed nanostructures at the inside of the cell to achieve bioactivity. Here, we propose an inverse strategy to develop in-cell gain-of-function self-assembled nanostructures. In this approach, the supramolecular building blocks exist in a unimolecular/unordered state in vitro or at the outside of the cell and assemble into well-defined nanostructures after cell internalization. We used block copolypeptides of an oligoarginine and a self-assembling peptide as building blocks and investigated correlations among the nanostructural state, antiprion bioactivity, and cytotoxicity. The optimal bioactivity (i.e., the highest antiprion activity and lowest cytotoxicity) was obtained when the building blocks existed In a unimolecular/unordered state in vitro and during the cell internalization process, exerting minimal cytotoxic damage to cell membranes, and were subsequently converted into high-charge-density vesicles in the low pH endosome/lysosomes in vivo, thus, resulting in the significantly enhanced antiprion activity. In particular, the in-cell self assembly concept presents a feasible approach to developing therapeutics against protein misfolding diseases. In general, the in cell self-assembly provides a novel inverse methodology to supramolecular bionanomaterials.</P>
