타이어 공기압 제어시스템의 개발과 그에 따른 타이어 특성에 대한 연구

New concept of on-line pressure control system of tires was proposed. And the characteristics of tire for varying air pressure using the proposed system was investigated. Compressed air from a compressor that used brake torque was stored in a reservour tank and supplied with a on-off solenoid valve. A rotating air supplying device was specially designed for rotating wheels. Air was injected into or ventilated from tires through it. The electronic control unit activated the solenoid valve using PWM output with feedback input, like tire pressure, road condition and other driving input. To show the effect of pressure on the characteristics of tire, simulation device for one wheel was made using the developed system. The result of this study showed that the stiffness of tire was increased with pressure of tire and cornering force was approximated as the response of the first order system. The system response for step change of pressure showed that it was enough faster than that of cornering force.
광학센서를 이용한 알약계수기의 계수알고리즘 향상에 관한 연구

It is fundamental to count and pack the pills in the medicine manufacture field but those tasks are time and labor consuming. Thus, the need for automation of those tasks is necessarily getting increased in order to get effective mass production. It is significant to perceive pills quickly and precisely. There were many trials for this processing but the performance of the existing counting machines varies about size, shape and dispersion tendency of pills. In this paper, the authors try to improve the counting performance of a pill counting machine that has optical sensors with the neural network. The passing signal of pill is acquired with optical sensor and the passage signal of the pill is extracted as input patterns. The gradient and integration of signal during passing time and the time keeping the pill interrupt the light from the LED are used as characteristic feature. The back propagation and perception algorithm are used for training. Experimental results with several pills show that the designed algorithm is a little bit effective to reduce the noise effect which is generated from interference among the machine components and unreliable environment.
3차원 접촉식 측정기구의 네트웍을 통한 형상 복원에 관한 연구

The authors have realized reconstruction of 3D shape using contacting method with pins and TCP/IP communication. In this paper, the working principal of the mechanism is proposed and tested. A special sensor system is designed as 148 matrix form to measure 3D shape. When contact occurs between pin and the plate of the sensor matrix, the position information of pins is sent to computer and raised height data of the pin is obtained by counter which accumlates encoder signal. So, all datum which contain 3-dimensional coordinate, is transferred using TCP/IP communication. Finally, 3D shape is reconstructured by Web browser of remote computer. The measuring result shows that the proposed mechanism is reliable and promising as a remote measuring device through Internet.
Mobility Improvement of P3HT Thin Film by High-Voltage Electrostatic Field-Assisted Crystallization

High-temperature annealing, assisted by the in-plane application of a high-voltage electric field, was used to form thin films of poly(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT), boasting increased crystallite size and enhanced charge mobility. In-plane crystallite growth and surface morphology were characterized by atomic force microscopy. X-ray diffraction analyses showed that the application of an electric field decreased film thickness and increased the dimensions of the crystalline domains by 25.6% during subsequent high-temperature annealing. Crystalline domains were 13.4% larger, and exhibited 70% higher mobility, than those obtained with thermal annealing in the absence of an electric field.
