현재 단대단(End-to-End) 비디오 서비스의 질을 높이기 위해 많은 연구가 각 계층별로 진행되고 있다. 전송계층에서의 오류 제어(Error Control), 네트워크계층에서의 QoS (Quality of Service)모델, 표현 및 응용계층에서의 오류 강인성(Error resilience)/오류 은닉(Error concealment) 등이 연구 개발되고 있다. 그러나 계층 간의 연관성이 높은 부분에서의 통합을 통한 성능향상에 관한 연구는 그 필요성과 효율에 비해 아직도 미흡하다. 본 논문은 QoS 서비스 모델하에서의 적응적 FEC(Forward Error Correction) 적용 및 우선순위에 따른 비디오패킷(VP ,VideoPacket)을 통하여 효율적인 계층화 비디오 스트리밍을 단대단 QoS성능의 향상에 관점을 맞추어 제안한다. 제안하는 방식은 최소 화질 보장과 같은 효율에서 보다 적은 가격에서의 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 이를 위하여 통합형 서비스(IntServ, IS, Integrated Service) 의 자원예약을 사용하는 방법과 높은 가격의 자원 예약을 사용하지 않는 차별화 서비스(DiffServ, DS, Differentiated Service)를 적용했으며 이에 보장형 서비스의 특징을 공통을 가지기 위해 계층화 FEC를 적용하였으며 적절한 가격의 조절을 위하여 비디오패킷을 통한 데이터 분할을 적용하였다. 본 논문은 또한 최종 사용자의 만족도를 PSNR(Picture Signal to Noise Ration)과 PSNR에서 표현하지 못하는 부분의 평가를 위해 손상프레임율(DFR, Damaged Frame Ratio)과 오류프레임율(EFR,Error Frame Ratio)을 제안 이를 통해 평가하고자 한다. 제안하는 방식의 실험 결과는 비디오 코딩계층과 전송 계층, 네트워크 계층의 결합된 성능이며 이는 또한 화질의 개선뿐만 아니라 사용자의 가격문제에 대하여서도 비교 분석하였다. In the past, enhancement techniques for the end-to-end quality of a networked application were studied by looking at each individual layer. Examples of such techniques include the error resilience/concealment methods in the application layer, the FEC/ARQ in the transport layer, and the Quality of Service (QoS) techniques in the network layers. However, an integrated approach that would look across all related layers had yet to be investigated. This paper proposes an approach that combines priority-aware video packetization, adaptively used layered FEC, and QoS controlled networks such as IntServ and DiffServ in order to provide an efficient end-to-end quality in layered streaming video. The combination is more efficient in terms of a simple network price mechanism, that is, in getting the best end-to-end quality under a given total cost constraint. Our proposed approach in DiffServ with video packet (VP) data-splitting and layered FEC guarantees minimal service quality in a scalable and cost effective manner without introducing resource reservation. For video, we also propose performance metrics such as Damaged/Error frame ratio (DFR, CFR). These provide objective metrics like PSNR as well as a measurement for subjective perceptions. Our approach, which combines related layers such as video coding, transport, and network, has yielded results that have proven to be more cost-effective and practical than the supporting network QoS.
In this paper, two new techniques, the pattern filling and the refined flow field regeneration, based on the finite element method and Eulerian mesh advancement approach have been developed to analyze incompressible viscous flow with free surfaces. The gorerning equation for flow analysis is Navier-Stokes equation including inertia and gravity effects. The penalty and Newton-Raphson methods are used effectively for finite element formulation. The flow front surface and the volume inflow rate are calculated using the pattern filling technique to select an adequate pattern among five filling patterns at each quadrilateral control volume. By the refined flow field regeneration technique, the new flow field which renders better prediction in flow surface shape is generated and the velocity field at the flow front part is calculated more exactly. Using the new thchniques to be developed, the dam-breaking problem has been analyzed to predict flow phenomenon of fluid and the predicted front positions versus time have been compared with the reported experimental result.
The leakage current characteristics of the low temperature processed LDD structure poly-Si TFT is analyzed. The excimer laser technology was applied to the recrystallization process of poly-Si film and the maximum processing temperature was retained under 600.deg.C. From the fabricated LDD space 0.3.mu.m to 3$\mu$m, the best on/off current ration could be obtained with the 1.3$\mu$m LDD space. And the threshold voltage did not increase more than 4V over 0.8$\mu$m LDD space. The characteristics of leakage current was compared to non-LDD structure TFT to analyze the mechanism of leakage current. Consequently, it could be concluded that the leakage current is strongly affected by the trap states as well as high electric field between gate and drain.
We report the 3-year follow-up result of Wingspan intracranial stenting for symptomatic severe in-stent stenosis after stent-assistedcoiling (SAC) for a ruptured left distal internal carotid artery (ICA) aneurysm. A middle-aged male patient visited our hospitalfor in-stent stenosis of a stent that was placed to treat a ruptured ICA aneurysm. Routine follow-up cerebral angiography, 1 yearafter SAC, showed in-stent stenosis around the distal markers of the inserted stent at the left M1 proximal segment. Six monthslater, he developed right dysesthesia. We performed intracranial stenting with Wingspan stent for the in-stent stenosis. Follow-updigital subtraction angiography performed 1 year after the Wingspan stenting showed good patency of the ICA and middle cerebralartery flow without evidence of restenosis. At 3-year follow-up, magnetic resonance angiography showed sufficient middlecerebral artery flow although the stenting segment could not be visualized clearly. Wingspan stenting might be a feasible optionin patients with iatrogenic intracranial stenosis resulting from in-stent stenosis who experience the progression of intracranialstenosis with manifestation of neurological symptoms despite dual anti-platelet therapy.
In this study, we describe a new approach to the production of naive/synthetic human antibodies against the botulinum neurotoxin (BoNT). First, peptides that bind to BoNT serotype A (BoNT/A) were screened from a phage display of a combinatorial peptide library. One peptide, designated ANT12-2 (TLPSPLALLTVH), was determined to interact with BoNT/A, as well as with other serotypes of BoNT. This peptide specifically reacted with the native form of BoNT/A, but not with its formalin-inactivated form. Next, a hybrid naive/synthetic human Fab library was generated via the grafting of a peptide motif from ANT12-2 into HCDR3 with randomized flanking residues. Through biopanning, the Fab clone, ANTHU-1, which harbors the HCDR3 sequence of VRIQRSPLALLSWGDV, was selected and confirmed in order to retain the same BoNT-binding characteristics as ANT12-2.
