In this paper, I am going to utilize the existing OAM cell, without generating an additional traffic. Firstly, I analyzed the basic structure of the existing Fiber Loop Carrier-C(FLC-C). Secondly, by making use of the loopback function, I suggested the OAM function for monitoring the network resources and transmitting the traffic information in the Fiber Loop Carrier-C. Finally, by using this kind of monitoring mechanism that is a simulation model. I measured the cell loss rate and the cell transfer delay with the information of the network traffic.

Most currently available statins are associated with an increase with risk of myositis, including rhabdomyolysis. Myopathy is believed to be caused by interference in the cytochrome P450 3A4 enzyme system, which results in a marked increase in reductase activity. Cerivastatin, a new synthetic HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, is a safe, well-tolerated effective drug for the treatment of patients with dyslipidemia. The drug is metabolized by the cytochrome P450 3A4 and cytochrome P450 2C8 hepatic isoenzymes. Because of this dual metabolic pathway, it has been suggested that cerivastatin is less subject to drug-to-drug interactions. We describe a 60-year-old woman with rhabdomyolysis and localized myositis, after she had taken cerivastatin(lipobay, 0.3 mg/day) and gemfibrozil(lopid, 500 mg/day) for 1month.

This paper explains the OMG CORBA, Object Web and Java which is an object oriented interpreter language developed at Sun Microsystems. In this paper, we design the client user interfaces, application objects and database objects of the stock market management systems.
실험연구 : 백서 피질 신경원 혼합배양 모델에서 α-amino-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionate로 유도된 뇌독성에 대한 Propofol의 효과

Background: The pattern of α-amino-3-hydroxy-5-methyl-4-isoxazolepropionic acid (AMPA)-mediated neurotoxicity (necrosis vs apoptosis) and the neuroprotective effect of propofol on AMPA-mediated neurotoxicity are still unclear. Methods: Thirteen-day-old primary rat mixed cortical cultures were used. To measure the neuroprotective effect of propofol, AMPA (50 μM), AMPA (50 μM) plus propofol (0.1, 1, 25, 50 μM), AMPA (50 μM) plus DMSO, propofol (50 μM) and DMSO were administered (n=45). Seventy-two h later, surviving cells were counted using trypan blue staining and were converted to cell death rate (CDR). To measure the effect of propofol (50 μM) on AMPA (50 μM)-induced apoptosis, a triple stain was done. In a fixed field (×400), the number of neuronal cells stained by neuronal nuclei (NeuN) and Hoechst staining and apoptotic cells stained by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick-end-labeling (TUNEL) assays were counted. Apoptotic cell rates (ACR) were also calculated. Statistical analyses were performed using one way-analysis of variance followed by Bonferroni`s test. P<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: AMPA (50 μM) stimulation demonstrated 49.3% CDR, and adding propofol 50 μM decreased CDR to 29.4% (P<0.05). In the TUNEL assay, cells with no drug treatment demonstrated 12.3% ACR and 50 μM AMPA increased ACR to28% (P<0.05). Adding 50 μM propofol to AMPA decreased the ACR to 20.1% (P<0.05). Conclusions: Propofol (50 μM) had neuroprotective effects against AMPA (50 μM)-induced cell death by reducing apoptosis. (Korean J Anesthesiol 2008;55:607~12)
새만금 배수갑문 수위조절 특성과 염생식물 군락지 형성에 관한 연구

2006~2008년 동안 새만금 간척지에서 조성된 인공 염생식물 군락지와 새만금 방조제 배수갑문 수위 관리의 연관성을 밝히기 위해 배수갑문 수위특성 및 사유, 염생식물 군락지의 공간적인 분포와 형성 과정, 수위변화에 따른 염생식물 분포공간분석을 시도하였다. 배수갑문 수위조절의 특성을 분석한 결과, 파종 후 생장기의 평균수위와 연평균 수위와의 차이는 유사했으며, 연간 최저수위 및 최고수위가 파종 후 생장기에 나타났다. 3년동안 4,315만㎡에 염생식물 군락지가 형성되었으며 총 2,673만㎡에 대해 인공적인 염생식물 군락 조성이 시도되어 291만㎡을 제외한 표고 약 1m 이상의 2,382만㎡(89.1%)에 염생식물 군락지가 형성된 것으로 추정되었다. 파종지역 염생식물 군락지 형성에서 해수의 평균수위나 최저수위보다도 최고수위가 결정적인 요인으로 작용하였으며, 경운 및 토양 피막 여부가 군락지 형성의 2차적인 요인으로 작용한 것으로 보인다. In order to examine the traits of sluice gate water control, halophyte community formation and their inter-relations in Saemangeum, both water level condition and halophyte community formation were analyzed periodically and spatially on the topographic map with Surfer, Saemageum Spatial Analysis System, and related field reports. The traits of water level condition are that average water level in the growing period of halophytes was similar to annual average water level, annual low level and high level appeared in the growing period, and water level was usually maintained within a range of -1.0m~0.5m above mean sea level, but it has changed more frequently year by year. Routine water level control, natural disaster prevention, construction, and civil appeal took major percentages of the reasons for sluice gate`s opening and shutting. Since 2007, not only the overall control frequency of sluice gate but also its control frequency for construction and natural disaster prevention have increased outstandingly. Halophyte community had formed at a rate of 1,209ha/year in the 4,315 ha land in 2008, 6.3 times larger than in 2005, and 2,382 ha above around 1.0m was estimated to be artificially vegetated, 89.1 % of the 2,673ha-size sown area. High water level was found to be a more possible determinant than average water level or low water level in halophyte community formation and it was thought to be secondary factors whether tillage was conducted or/and whether surface sealing formed.
Expression of MUC1, MUC2, MUC5AC and MUC6 in cholangiocarcinoma: Prognostic impact

<P>Mucin is a high molecular weight glycoprotein that plays an important role to protect the gastrointestinal tract epithelium. However, in cancer cells and during cancer progression, the expression profile of mucins is altered and expression of some mucins is correlated with prognosis for certain malignancies. The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between the expression of MUC1, MUC2, MUC5AC and MUC6 in cholangiocarcinoma and clinicopathological parameters as well as patient survival. In addition, this study was performed to identify whether immunohistochemical staining for mucins is useful to differentiate cholangiocarcinoma from adenocarcinoma of the pancreas and gallbladder. Immunohistochemical staining for MUC1, MUC2, MUC5AC and MUC6 was performed for 85 cases of cholangiocarcinoma, including 34 cases of intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC), 51 cases of extrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ECC), 11 cases of gallbladder adenocarcinoma and 14 cases of pancreas adenocarcinoma. For cholangiocarcinomas, positivity of immunohistochemical staining for MUC1, MUC2, MUC5AC and MUC6 was 65.8, 23.5, 61.1 and 14.1%, respectively. For cholangiocarcinomas, MUC1 positivity was determined to be statistically significant for poor differentiation (p=0.002), T category (p=0.003), gross type (ICC, p=0.005; ECC, p=0.006) and poor patient survival (p=0.015). MUC5AC was more frequently expressed in advanced tumors (p=0.013). MUC6 expression was significantly detected in well-differentiated cholangiocarcinomas (p=0.006). There was no significant difference for the mucin staining patterns of cholangiocarcinomas, pancreatic adenocarcinomas and gallbladder adenocarcinomas. These results indicate that MUC1 expression in cholangiocarcinomas is closely related to dedifferentiation, infiltrative growth pattern and patient survival. Our results suggest that the expression of MUC1 might be associated with the progression of cholangiocarcinoma.</P>
