        MuGenFBD: 기능 블록 다이어그램 프로그램에 대한 자동 뮤턴트 생성기

        기능 블록 다이어그램(Function Block Diagram, FBD) 프로그램이 안전 필수 시스템 구현에 널리 사용되면서 FBD 프로그램에 대한 효과적인 테스트가 중요해졌다. 뮤테이션 테스팅은 오류 기반 테스팅 기술로, 오류 탐지에 매우 효과적이지만 비용이 많이 든다. 본 연구에서는 FBD 프로그램 테스터를 지원하기 위한, FBD 프로그램 대상 자동 뮤턴트 생성기를 제안한다. MuGenFBD 도구는 뮤턴트 생성 비용과 동등 뮤턴트 문제를 고려하여 설계되었다. MuGenFBD 도구의 성능을 평가하기 위해 실제 산업 사례에 대한 실험을 수행한 결과, MuGenFBD를 활용하여 뮤턴트 생성 시 동등 뮤턴트를 생성할 비율이 낮으며 적은 비용으로 FBD 프로그램 대상 뮤턴트를 효과적으로 자동 생성할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 제안하는 도구는 FBD 프로그램에 대한 뮤테이션 분석 및 뮤테이션 충분성 기준을 만족시키는 테스트 생성을 효과적으로 지원할 수 있다. Since function block diagram (FBD) programs are widely used to implement safety-critical systems, effective testing for FBD programs has become important. Mutation testing, a fault-based testing, is highly effective in fault detection but computationally expensive. To support testers for FBD programs, we propose an automated mutant generator for FBD programs. We designed the MuGenFBD tool with the cost and equivalent mutant issues in consideration. We conducted experiments on real industrial examples to present the performance of MuGenFBD. The results show that MuGenFBD can generate mutants for FBD programs automatically with low probability of equivalent mutants and low cost. This tool can effectively support mutation analysis and mutation-adequate test generation for FBD programs.

        Sex difference of autosomal alleles in populations of European and African descent

        In the present study, we aimed to report the individual sex-different genetic markers across autosomes in European- and African-origin populations. A total of 8400 females and 8081 males in 19 independent cohorts were genotyped across genomes using Illumina or Affymetrix arrays. The allele frequencies were compared between females and males in nine non-clean cohorts (with some human disease traits) using genome-wide logistic regression and then the nominally significant associations were replicated across 10 clean cohorts (without disease traits). Meta-analysis was performed to derive the combined p values across all cohorts. We found 13 markers that were genome-wide significant (p B 5 9 10-8) between females and males in the meta-analysis of all cohorts of European descent, including rs7740449 at SYNE1, rs7531151 at PLD5, rs697455 at PPP1R12B, rs6745746 at LOC100128413, rs17000079 at PARM1, rs11948070 at PDE4D, rs7801825 at INSIG1, rs9551642 at MTUS2, rs2932174 at TPTE2, rs1961597 at SALL3, rs4117529 at METTL4, rs6021473 at SALL4 and rs6092466 at RAE1, and one marker, i.e., rs10145208 at PCNX, that was genomewide significant in the meta-analysis of all cohorts of African descent. The most robust finding was rs7740449 at SYNE1, next to ESR1. We conclude that there are many sex-different markers on autosomes. These markers may be informative in differentiating females and males.

        A Network Load Sensitive Block Placement Strategy of HDFS

        This paper investigates and analyzes the default block placement strategy of HDFS. HDFS is a typical representative distributed file system to stream vast amount of data effectively at high bandwidth to user applications. However, the default HDFS block placement policy assumes that all nodes in the cluster are homogeneous, and places blocks with a simple RoundRobin strategy without considering any nodes` resource characteristics, which decreases self-adaptability of the system. The primary contribution of this paper is the proposition of a network load sensitive block placement strategy. We have implemented our algorithm and justify it through extensive simulations and comparison with similar existing studies. The results indicate that our work not only performs much better in the data distribution but also improves write performance more significantly than the others.

        Bimodal Interaction of Mammalian Polo-Like Kinase 1 and a Centrosomal Scaffold, Cep192, in the Regulation of Bipolar Spindle Formation

        <P>Serving as microtubule-organizing centers, centrosomes play a key role in forming bipolar spindles. The mechanism of how centrosomes promote bipolar spindle assembly in various organisms remains largely unknown. A recent study with <I>Xenopus laevis</I> egg extracts suggested that the Plk1 ortholog Plx1 interacts with the phospho-T46 (p-T46) motif of <I>Xenopus</I> Cep192 (xCep192) to form an xCep192-mediated xAurA-Plx1 cascade that is critical for bipolar spindle formation. Here, we demonstrated that in cultured human cells, Cep192 recruits AurA and Plk1 in a cooperative manner, and this event is important for the reciprocal activation of AurA and Plk1. Strikingly, Plk1 interacted with Cep192 through either the p-T44 (analogous to <I>Xenopus</I> p-T46) or the newly identified p-S995 motif via its C-terminal noncatalytic polo-box domain. The interaction between Plk1 and the p-T44 motif was prevalent in the presence of Cep192-bound AurA, whereas the interaction of Plk1 with the p-T995 motif was preferred in the absence of AurA binding. Notably, the loss of p-T44- and p-S995-dependent Cep192-Plk1 interactions induced an additive defect in recruiting Plk1 and γ-tubulin to centrosomes, which ultimately led to a failure in proper bipolar spindle formation and mitotic progression. Thus, we propose that Plk1 promotes centrosome-based bipolar spindle formation by forming two functionally nonredundant complexes with Cep192.</P>

        PLC 프로그램 테스트 자동화를 위한 테스트 시퀀스의 체계적 실행 제어 및 시뮬레이터 기반 출력 방법

        PLC(Programmable Logic Controller)는 안전이 중요한 시스템에서 제어 작업을 수행하는 데 적용된다. 이 논문에서는 PLC 프로그램을 테스트하기 위해 자동으로 생성한 테스트 시퀀스들을 PLC 상에서 실행시키고 테스트를 자동화시키기 위한 테스트 시퀀스의 체계적 실행 제어 방법을 제안하고, PC 시뮬레이터를 구축하여 PLC 결과값을 확보하는 체계적인 방안도 제안한다. 또한 제안한 방법이 테스트 케이스를 확장할 수 있음을 보이고 실제 PLC 시스템에 적용할 수 있음을 보인다.

      • Spatial Heterogeneity of Soil Mite Community and its Spatial Relationship with Environmental Factors in Maoer Mountains

        Maoer Mountain National Forest Ecological Station is located in Heilongjiang Province. By using the statistical spatial analysis method, which showed that the soil mites community and species richness of mites spatial heterogeneity. Also, which is illustrated that the spatial effect relationship with the environmental factors. The results of crossvariogram and simple Mantel test showed that positive relationships between soil mite communities, specific mite species and environmental factors were detected. Among the environmental factors, soil pH showed significant affects on spatial heterogeneity of soil mite species in both years. When considering the relationships between soil mite species, positive correlations and specific mite species were also observed. Spatial heterogeneities of soil mite communities and most of the soil mite species were regulated by structured factors, in which environmental variables might be important drivers. Thus, it is implied that abundances of soil mite community and most of the soil mite species showed aggregated spatially heterogeneity, and significant relationship between such heterogeneity and environmental factors were detected.

      • A multimodal deep learning approach for online course recommendation

        With the rapid development of massive open online course (MOOC) platforms, learners are overloaded by numerous online courses. Many online course recommendation methods have been developed to facilitate learners to find suitable courses on the platforms. However, existing methods mainly focus on mining textual data and are inflexible to incorporate other types of data, which also benefit course recommendation. To bridge this gap, we propose a multimodal deep learning approach that leverages multiple types of course data for online course recommendation. The proposed approach employs multiple embedding techniques to process textual, relational, and categorical course data and uses the processed data to profile courses and learners for course recommendation. Experimental results on a real-world dataset show that the proposed approach outperforms multiple baselines in terms of precision and mean average precision.

        Modeling and Direct Power Control Method of Vienna Rectifiers Using the Sliding Mode Control Approach

        This paper uses the switching function approach to present a simple state model of the Vienna-type rectifier. The approach introduces the relationship between the DC-link neutral point voltage and the AC side phase currents. A novel direct power control (DPC) strategy, which is based on the sliding mode control (SMC) for Vienna I rectifiers, is developed using the proposed power model in the stationary α-β reference frames. The SMC-based DPC methodology directly regulates instantaneous active and reactive powers without transforming to a synchronous rotating coordinate reference frame or a tracking phase angle of grid voltage. Moreover, the required rectifier control voltages are directly calculated by utilizing the non-linear SMC scheme. Theoretically, active and reactive power flows are controlled without ripple or cross coupling. Furthermore, the fixed-switching frequency is obtained by employing the simplified space vector modulation (SVM). SVM solves the complicated designing problem of the AC harmonic filter. The simplified SVM is based on the simplification of the space vector diagram of a three-level converter into that of a two-level converter. The dwelling time calculation and switching sequence selection are easily implemented like those in the conventional two-level rectifier. Replacing the current control loops with power control loops simplifies the system design and enhances the transient performance. The simulation models in MATLAB/Simulink and the digital signal processor-controlled 1.5 kW Vienna-type rectifier are used to verify the fast responses and robustness of the proposed control scheme.
