        An Efficient Catalyst for Restoration of Large Volume Effluent Containing 4-Nitrophenol at Room Temperature

        An efficient and stable catalyst was prepared utilizing reduced graphene oxide, Ag nanoparticles and melamine sponge for the restoration of large volume effluent containing 4-nitrophenol at room temperature. And the as-prepared sample is suitable for continuous flow system. Almost 99% 4-nitrophenol (1.0 x 10 -4 mol L -1, 100 mL) can be removed within 4 min in the presence of the aforementioned sample. Moreover, it also exhibits remarkable stability in continuous flow system. This may offer a new route to the fabrication of efficient flowing catalytic system.

        Applicability Analysis of Microseismic Technology in Tunnel Water Inrush Monitoring

        Water inrush disaster is one of the most serious geological disasters in tunnel construction. There are still some problems in the existing researches, such as the activity information of surrounding rock is difficult to obtain, the mechanism of water inrush disaster is unclear, the correlation between water inrush disaster and microseismic (MS) information is missing, which have caused the water inrush disaster to be passively controlled. Combining with the practical experience of tunnel engineering, the application problems of MS technology in tunnel engineering is summarized, which provides ideas for monitoring of surrounding rock activity. The formation mechanism of water inrush disaster caused by rock mass fracturing and filling medium instability has been revealed. The MS characteristics of the water inrush channel in different water inrush disasters have also been revealed. The MS response characteristics of water inrush and rockburst disasters are compared, which provides guidance for the improvement of MS monitoring technology and the analysis of effective MS information. The compression failure test of limestone under saturated and natural conditions is carried out. The results show that the presence of water weakens the ability of rock to store energy. The acoustic emission (AE) phenomenon is weaker in the process of saturated limestone failure, which increases the difficulty of AE monitoring. The number of AE events of natural limestone and saturated limestone shows a slow increase to a sudden increase in the process stress loading, which can be regarded as an important precursor of rock failure.

        An Octree-Based Two-Step Method of Surface Defects Detection for Remanufacture

        Accurate and quick detection has a significant bearing on overall productivity of remanufacture. 3D scanning technologies have been widely applied in defects detection by comparing the damaged model with the nominal model. In this process, a huge amount of point cloud data is required to ensure detection accuracy whereas resulting in large storage space and long processing time of detection. This paper proposed an efficient two-step method based on octree to detect defects accurately and quickly for remanufacturing. In this method, the damaged point cloud and the nominal point cloud are first registered. Then a two-step detection approach is developed to extract the surface defects, coarse detection and detailed extraction, where the octree method is applied to create an effective topology of discrete points and perform the Boolean operation for defects extraction. In coarse detection, rough location and size information of the defects are acquired from the whole point cloud data. Based on coarse detected boundary box containing defects, the detailed extraction step is applied to extract corresponding defects shape accurately. The feasibility of proposed method was validated by using a case to detect defects of a damaged turbine blade and the detection results can be used to generate restoration tool path. The results show that the proposed method outperforms state-of-art defects detection methods, which can reduce time by 74.03% and reduce error by 36.86%, respectively.

      • FSSPCM: Fuzzy Publication of Data for Privacy Preserving

        The rapid development of information technology makes it convenient to release, collect, store and analyze various types of data. At the same time, how to protect the privacy of individual and prevent disclosure of sensitive information during data publication has become a major challenge. K-anonymity method is the most widely used privacy protection model and has been well researched. However, generalization and suppression operations used in K-anonymity methods require high computational effort and cause excessive loss of original information, which will greatly reduce the availability of data after publishing. The paper proposed a transformation algorithm for privacy preserving data publishing based on fuzzy semantic set pair cloud model (FSSPCM). It transforms the sensitive attributes into the form of fuzzy semantic values, and privacy of individual has been maintained because exact values cannot be predicted after data publishing. In order to enhance the availability of data after publishing, semantic distinction (SD) and reserve degree (RD) are designed to reflect relationships between original data and fuzzy semantic information after transformation according to different characteristics of numerical sensitive attributes and categorical sensitive attributes. Experiments and analysis demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method both on numerical and categorical sensitive attributes. Classification performed on original and transformed information proves the proposed method maintains higher clustering similarity after fuzzy transformation, which will provide better availability for data mining and other processing.

      • Developmental competence of porcine parthenogenetic embryos relative to embryonic chromosomal abnormalities

        <P>Parthenogenetically activated (PA) embryos exhibit delayed development, a lower blastocyst rate, and less successful development in vitro compared to in vitro fertilized (IVF) embryos. To investigate the possible mechanisms for unsuccessful parthenogenetic development, this study analyzed the chromosome abnormalities and developmental potential of porcine PA embryos. Mature oocytes were electrically activated and cultured in Porcine Zygote Medium-3 (PZM<SUB>3</SUB>) supplemented with 3 mg/ml BSA for 6, 7, or 8 days. The percentage of PA blastocysts was lower than that of IVF embryos on days 6 and 7 (16.4 ± 7.4 vs. 28.7 ± 3.7; 10.9 ± 2.8 vs. 21.5 ± 4.7, P < 0.05; respectively), and the PA blastocysts had significantly fewer nuclei than IVF blastocysts (23.2 ± 1.8 vs. 29.7 ± 0.8; 29.7 ± 3.3 vs. 32.0 ± 2.4, P < 0.05). The percentage of abnormal PA embryos (including embryos with condensed nuclei, arrested embryos and fragmented embryos) was higher than that of IVF embryos (PA: 52.9 ± 12.8 vs. 16.4 ± 7.4 on day 6), and increased with culture time (71.9 ± 12.1 vs. 10.9 ± 2.8. on day 7,and 75.0 ± 22.6 vs. 12.1 ± 2.3 on day 8, P < 0.05). The Day-6 PA blastocysts (n = 147) were divided into three classes according to the total number of nuclei (<20, 20–39, >40) and into three groups according to the morphological diameter (<150, 150–180, >180 µm). Of the haploid blastocysts, 56.1% had less than 20 nuclei, and 71.5% were less than 150 µm in diameter. Of all (114) blastocysts suitable for analysis, 55.5% displayed chromosomal abnormalities. Among chromosomal abnormalities in PA blastocysts, haploid blastocysts were most prevalent (43.6%), while polyploidy (4.4%) and mixoploidy (7.7%) embryos were less prevalent. Chromosomal abnormalities of porcine PA embryos might contribute to a higher rate of abnormal embryonic development. We suggest that a careful consideration should be given when using the blastocysts with smaller size, and establishing the optimum culture condition for PA embryos development in vitro. Mol. Reprod.         Exploring the beneficial role of telmisartan in sepsis-induced myocardial injury through inhibition of high-mobility group box 1 and glycogen synthase kinase-3β/nuclear factor-κB pathway

        In the present experimental study, cecal ligation and puncture significantly increased the myocardial injury assessed in terms of excess release of creative kinase-MB (CK-MB), cardiac troponin I (cTnI), interleukin (IL)-6 and decrease of IL-10 in the blood following 12 h of laparotomy procedure as compared to normal control. Also, a significant increase in protein expression levels of high-mobility group box 1 (HMGB1) and decreased phosphorylation of glycogen synthase kinase-3β (GSK-3β) was observed in the myocardial tissue as compared to normal control. A single independent administration of telmisartan (2 and 4 mg/kg) and AR-A014418 (1 and 2 mg/kg) substantially reduced sepsis-induced myocardial injury in terms of decrease levels of CK-MB, cTnI and IL-6, HMGB1, GSK-3β and increase in IL-10 and p-GSK-3β in the blood in sepsis- subjected rats. The effects of telmisartan at dose 4 mg/kg and AR-A014418 at a dose of 2 mg/kg were significantly higher than the telmisartan at a dose of 2 mg/kg and AR-A014418 1 mg/kg respectively. Further, no significant effects on different parameters were observed in the sham control group in comparison to normal. Therefore it is plausible to suggest that sepsis may increase the levels of angiotensin II to trigger GSK-3β-dependent signaling to activate the HMGB1/receptors for advanced glycation end products, which may promote inflammation and myocardial injury in sepsis-subjected rats.

        On nonlinear variational inclusions with (A,η)-monotone mappings

        In this paper, we introduce a generalized system of nonlinear relaxed co-coercive variational inclusions involving (A,η)-monotone mappings in the framework of Hilbert spaces. Based on the generalized resolvent operator technique associated with (A,η)-monotonicity, we consider the approximation solvability of solutions to the generalized system. Since (A,η)-monotonicity generalizes A-monotonicity and H-monotonicity, The results presented this paper improve and extend the corresponding results announced by many others.

        SENSITIVITY ANALYSIS OF SOLUTIONS FOR A SYSTEM OF PARAMETRIC GENERAL QUASIVARIATIONAL-LIKE INEQUALITIES

        In this paper, we introduce and study a new class of system of parametric general quasivariational-like inequalities. Using $\eta$-subdifferential and $\eta$-proximal mappings of proper functionals in Hilbert spaces, we prove the equivalence between the system of parametric general quasivariational-like inequalities and a xed point problem and construct two iterative algorithms. A few existence and uniqueness results as well as the sensitivity analysis of solutions are also established for the system of parametric general quasivariational-like inequalities, and some convergence results of iterative sequence generated by the algorithms are proved. Our results extend a few known results in the literature.
