        Failure Analysis on Pressure Leakage of FRP

        The fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) pipe used in the ground gathering system of an oil field occurred leakagefailure during the pressure test on site after installation. Investigations were performed to identify the most probable causes of the pipe failures. Take three types of specimens for the study, which is the leak position of failure line; the non-leaked position of failure line and the standby pipeline after insulation. The study was conducted by reviewing the background of the incident, visual physical inspection, mechanical property test and finite element analysis. The reason for the failure of this batch pipe is that, a large number of circumferential cracks appear on the outer wall of the pipe under the external force dominated by the bending stress, which reduced the overall internal pressure performance and caused the leakage failure of the pipe line. The leakage failure during the pressure test on site is mostly located in the transition zone of the pipe body to joint, which is due to the discontinuity of wall thickness and uneven material.

        A betaine aldehyde dehydrogenase gene in quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa): structure, phylogeny, and expression pattern

        Betaine aldehyde dehydrogenase (BADH) is widely considered as a key enzyme in glycine betaine metabolism in higher plants. Several paralogous genes encoding different isozymes of BADH have been identified and characterized in some plants; however, until now, only limited information is available about BADH genes in quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa). Here, we report the molecular cloning, structural organization, phylogenetic evolution, and expression profile of a BADH gene (CqBADH1) from quinoa. The translated putative CqBADH1 protein included five conserved features of the ALDH Family 10. Comparisons between the cDNA and genomic sequences revealed that the CqBADH1 gene contained 15 exons and 14 introns. Comparative screening of introns in homologous genes demonstrated that the number and position of the BADH introns were highly conserved among the BADH genes in Amaranthaceae plants and in other more distantly related plant species. A phylogenetic analysis showed that CqBADH1 had the closest relationship with a protein from Atriplex canescens and belonged to the ALDH10 family. Expression profile analyses indicated that CqBADH1 was expressed only in root, and showed time-dependent expression profiles under NaCl-stress condition. Moreover, in quinoa, NaCl stress led to increased levels of CqBADH1 mRNAaccompanied by the accumulation of glycine betaine. This is the first study to describe a BADH gene in quinoa.

      • Rice Disease Spots Extraction Based on Machine Vision

        Development of the automation system for recognizing diseases of the infected rice is a growing research field in precision agriculture. So, the first and foremost thing we should do is to extract the disease region from rice images. The objective of this paper is to propose an image segmentation method for rice disease spots based on machine vision. The algorithm consists of two main steps: image gray-level transformation and disease region segmentation. Firstly, the color image was transformed into a gray-level image by the color indices 2G-R-B, which making an important contribution for this kind of images. Secondly, the information fusion between the self-adaptation threshold which was obtained by the mean and standard variance of the grey-scale image and the green component distribution features in color image was used to form a new segmentation standard to detect disease region. To test the accuracy and robustness of the proposed algorithm, it was tested with a broad of set of images and compared with the classical approach based on other grey-level convert methods and Otsu’s method. Test result shows that the accuracy of new algorithm appears higher and it can be applied to segment rice disease spots effectively.

        Properties of Polyurethane-poly(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl acrylate) Triblock Copolymer Aqueous Dispersion and Its Film Cast from the Dispersion

        Polyurethane-poly(2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropyl acrylate) (PU-PTFPA) triblock copolymer aqueous dispersions were synthesized by three-step polymerization. Infra-red (IR) data verify the copolymerization between PU and TFPA. The proper ties of copolymer aqueous dispersion and its film cast from the dispersion have been investigated by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), dynamic light scattering (DLS), and some other physical testing methods. TEM observations indicate that the morphologies of copolymer particles formed in water are almost irregular spherical shape with core-shell structure. DLS results verify that the introduction of TFPA monomer changes the average particle size of copolymer particles. The experimental data demonstrate that the factors influencing the properties of PU-PTFPA triblock copolymer aqueous dispersion and its film cast from the dispersion mainly involve PU content, DMPA content and PTFPA content.

        ‘중문’의 시각에서 본 양송시기 서원의 도서간행에 대한 고찰

        양송 시기 인쇄술의 발전에 따라 도서 간행업이 발전하여 많은 판본들이 나왔고 장서로 유명한 서원들도 도서를 간행하는 데 동참하였는바, 그들의 정교한 각인공법은 사회의 인정을 받았으며 독특한 ‘서원본’을 형성하였다. 따라서 이에 대하여 고찰하는 것은 서원이 전통문화를 계승하고 사회를 위해 기여하는 역할에 대해 되새기는 데 중요한 의미가 있다. 첫째, 통치자들의 ‘중문경무’ 정책은 서원 도서간행의 추진력이 되었다. 송나라 초기 복잡한 정세에 직면하여 통치자들은 윤리도덕의 중요성을 인식함으로써 ‘중문경무’의 정책을 펼쳤는데 이는 책에 대한 관심과 욕구를 자극하였는바 주로 다음과 같은 면에서 구현되었다. 첫째, 통치자들이 ‘망서(亡書)’를 널리 구하고, 관리와 백성들이 도서를 헌납하게 하였으며, 인력을 동원하여 도서를 베끼고 교정, 인쇄하였다. 둘째, 세차례의 흥학(興學)은 관학, 사학, 서원교육의 발전을 추진하였으며 교육서적과 기타 서적들에 대한 수요가 많아지게 하였다. 셋째, 관아, 사원, 서원 및 개인 장서업의 발전에 따라 도서시장에 대한 요구도 높아지게 되었다. 넷째, 정부, 학교 및 사회가 서적에 대한 거대한 수요는 양송 시기 인쇄업의 혁명을 불러일으켰는바, 이는 제지업 및 조판인쇄술의 혁신, 도서간행 주체의 다양성, 도서 중의 광고홍보 내용 추가 등을 예로 들 수 있다. 둘째, 서원도서 간행자들의 공법이 매우 뛰어났다. 양송 시기 적어도 28개 서원이 도서간행에 참여하였는바 주로 유교서적을 비롯한 기타 백과서적을 포함하였다. 장인들은 글자체의 크기에 따라 줄 및 줄당 글자수를 정하였고, 각주부분은 글씨를 작게 조정하고, 또한 간행한 서원의 명칭 담당자의 성명도 기재하였다. 특히 간행 전후의 교정을 아주 중요시하였다. 셋째, 몇세대에 걸친 노력으로 서원본이 인정을 받게 되었다. 양송 시기 서원인들의 끊임없는 노력으로 간행된 서적들은 뛰어난 품질로 독특한 ‘서원본’을 형성하여 국자감의 ‘감본’과 어깨를 겨루게 되었다. 이 서적들은 서원의 거대한 수요를 충족시킨 외에 유학을 전승하고 교육과 사회 전반을 위해 이바지하게 되었다. 중세 유럽대학들이 교재를 손으로 베껴 쓸 때, 같은 시기 양송의 서원들은 이미 문화전승의 역사적 사명을 짊어지고 백 권이상의 학술서적 및 그림자료가 첨부된 과학도서를 인쇄하여 서원의 장서 및 교육의 수요를 충족시켰고 일반 서민들에게도 혜택을 가져다 주었다. 또한 대량의 고대문헌을 보존하는 역할을 하고 후세 서원들의 도서간행에도 모범을 보여주었다. 정교하게 간행된 ‘서원본’은 중국 도서출판 역사에서 전성기를 이루었을 뿐 아니라 세계 도서출판 역사에서도 빛나는 한 페이지를 엮었다. 在“重文”政策引領及推動下, 幷基于社會及自身對圖書的巨大需求, 作爲新型敎育机構的兩宋書院積極介入各類圖書的刻印活動, 在滿足自身藏書及服務敎學外, 還顧及社會大衆對圖書的需求。尤其對圖書的精雕細刻, 形成足以和“監本”相?美的“書院本”, 不僅引領后世書院刻印書籍之風, 還遠遠走在同時代西歐中世紀大學圖書業之前列。

        Characterization of 1,4-Dihydropyridine Derivatives by Electrospray Ionization Ion-Trap Time-of-Flight Tandem Mass Spectrometry

        1,4-Dihydropyridines provide the principal structural components for calcium channel blockers, which are usually studied by expeditious qualitative and quantitative analyses in pharmaceutical research and development. In this work, through the use of high-resolution electrospray ionization ion-trap time-of-flight multistage tandem mass spectrometry (ESI-IT-TOF/MSn), the accurate masses and fragmentation pathways of protonated derivatives (1–12) of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives are determined and rationalized. All protonated molecules are further fragmented by loss of the neutral groups 4-R1H, 3-C2H4 , 5-C2H4 , R2OH, or CO, yielding three fragmentation pathways with two different fragment nuclei of pyridine or 1,4-dihydropyridine. During the formation process of the pyridine nucleus, one pathway is that product ions at m/z 224 or 252 are the common diagnostic masses in most compounds; the other pathway is that the product ions are obtained by the loss of R2OH. The 1,4-dihydropyridine nucleus in three compounds arises from double C2H4 elimination. Simultaneously, this study supplies abundant special fragment information, which potentially provides a new method for structural studies of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives.

      • Research on the Composite Control Strategy of the Doubly Fed Induction Generator Grid Side Converter

        Aiming at the existing problems of the DFIG grid side converter, this paper studies its control technology and proposes a composite control strategy which includes a terminal sliding mode variable structure control of the current inner-loop and a PI controller of the voltage outer-loop in grid side converter. The simulation results show that the control strategy proposed in this paper can achieve better control of the inverter output voltage and input current. What's more important, this method can not only reduce the adverse effects on the grid side converter due to parameter variations and other factors, but also increases the robustness of the system. It has important actual significance and practical application value.

        Simulation and Analysis of Mechanical behavior of Groove-shaped Over-Squeezing during Mechanical Ruling

        The single crystal diamond chisel-edge tool is used to machine the 79 g/mm echelle diffraction grating, which is used as the research background. DEFORM-3D finite element software is used to simulate the mechanical ruling grating processing, and the influence of the parameters of the ruling tool on the squeezing force of aluminum film material is obtained. By analyzing the flow law of several sampling points in the groove-shaped over-squeezing region, the slip deformation characteristics of the aluminum film during the groove-shaped over-squeezing are clarified. Moreover, the velocity and stress field of aluminum film are analyzed under groove over-squeezing phenomenon. Therefore, it provides a basis for predicting the phenomenon of groove-shaped over-squeezing in the mechanical ruling grating processing.
