      • Zea Mays L. 의 特殊成分과 澱粉의 X線 回析度

        韓國産 메옥수수, 찰옥수수, 爆裂種에 대한 一般成分,無機質을 定量分析하고 또 胚芽油脂를 油出定量하고 그油脂의 物理,化學的 性質을 判斷하였다. 한편 各各의 녹말은 生 및 糊化시켜서 그의 X-線 회절도를 作成 比較 檢討하였다. 1.一般成分은 各各 Table 1에 表示한 바와 같다. 2.無機質成分은 各各 Table Ⅲ에 表示한 바와 같다. 3. 油脂의 物理化學的 性質 가.油脂의 色度差는 Table V에 表示한 바와 같다. 나.其他 粗脂肪, 比重, 굴절율, 요오드값, 산값, 검화값, 과산화물값, 불검화물값등은 Table Ⅳ에 表示한 바와 같다. 다.녹말에 대한 X-線 회절도의 試驗結果는 Table Ⅶ에 表示된 바와 같이 各 種間의 差異가 없었다. The general constituents and the mineral contents of White Dent Corn, Waxy Corn and Corn, all harvested in Korea, were first examined, and then the quality of each corn was examined through the test for the Physiochemical property of fat extracted from the germ of each corn. The result of qualitative comparison of starch, made by means of X-Ray Powder diffraction for the raw and the boiled starch of each corn, especially to find out any differences among the White Dent, the Waxy and the Pop Corn based on the point of starch, has reached the following conclusions; (1) The general consitutents and each content of the White Dent Corn are ; protein 10.3%, fiber 1.89%, Carbohydrate 69.93%, starch 64.5%, fat 5.36% and ash 1.65%. From it, it could be pointe out tthat the White Dent Corn contained more protein and ash than the others. Compared with the others, th Waxy Corn contained more Carbohydrate , showing its constitutents and contents as follows; protein 9.74f%, fiber 2.08%, Carbohydrate 71.04%, starch 65.5% fat 4.87% and ash 1.64%. As to the Pop Corn, however, it showed a relatively higher content of fat than the rest. Its constituents and each content were as follows ;protin 9.67%, fiber 2.19%, Carbohy-drate 69.39%, starch 64.0%, fat 6.62% and ash 1.64%. (2)Mineral Constituents; Regarding the mineral constiruents contained by the three kinds of corn which were sampled here for this study, the following results were noted; In case of the White Dent Corn, the content of P and Si were high, but the contents of Al and Zn were low. As for the Waxy Corn, the contents of Cu and Si were found less but the content of Al was found a little . Regarding the Pop Corn, however, the contents of its mineral constituents were higher in every respect than the other kinds of corn. Among them, especially , the contents of Si, Cu, Al, and Zn were a little higher. (3)Physiochemical Quality of Fat: The fat sampled here for the test was good enough with the one extracted through the method of pressure, oil pressing method, without any special refining process of high level.It was noted that the specific gravity of fat was 0.911 in the White Dent Corn, and 0.909 in the Pop Corn, which showed approximately 0.003 lower than the standard value specified b6 the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs. In the Waxy Corn, however, its value was almost as much as the specified level. As to the ditribution status of fat constituent, the Pop Corn contained the largest portion of all, showing that the Pop Corn 6.62%, the White Dent Corn 5.36% and the Waxy Corn 4.87% respectively. The iodine value of the sampled fat was 126 in the Waxy Corn, which belonged to the highest one of three kinds of Corn. And acid value of all the corn was generally a little higher than the standard required by the Ministry of Health and Social Affairs, since the fat was extracted from germ by means of ether and then was dried in the temperature of 90℃. In this case it was also noted that the Waxy Corn contained as much as the standard level. The White Dent Corn and the Pop Corn, however, wasd not up to the standard value. (4) Result of test for Starch X-Ray Power Diffraction: Starch, as its crystalline structure differs according to its kind, can be classified into three patterns such as A, B, and C. The raw starch (β-starch) sampled here belonged to A pattern and all the bolied starch (α-starch) to B pattern. When all the above were compared, all the sampled corn, White Dent, Waxy and Pop, did not show much difference in themselves.

        기능성 Zeolite-KCIO₃ 복합체에 의한 Chlorothalonil의 분해

        Salt occlusion in zeolite is a unique phenomenon that takes place only when the salt size is similar to the window size of host zeolite. KClO₃-occluded zeolite, as an environment-friendly oxidant, has a high potential for effective removal of various organic pollutants. This study was carried to investigate the characteristics and the removal kinetics of fungicide chlorothalonil by zeolite-KClO₃ complex. About 10% of KClO₃ was occluded in zeolite pores synthesized by salt-thermal method from fly ash, although the occlusion amount was relatively less compared to that of nitrate salts. By occlusion with KClO₃, no remarkable changes were found in X-ray diffraction patterns of cancrinite, whereas some decrease of overall peak intensities was found with those of sodalite. Different releasing kinetics of ClO^(-)₃ ion were observed in distilled water and soil solution from zeolite-KClO₃ complex. Two reactions, hydration and diffusion, seem to be related with the release of KClO₃. Therefore, the release isotherm of ClO^(-)₃ ion well fitted to the power function model which indicate the release was made by hydration and diffusion. The removal of chlorothalonil by zeolite and KClO₃ reached at reaction equilibrium within 6 hours by 18% and 47%, respectively. However, the chlorothalonil removal by the zeolite-KClO₃ complex increased slowly and steadily up to 92% in 96 hours. These findings suggested that zeolite-KClO₃ complex could be applied for effective removal of organic contaminants in the soil and aqueous environment.

        Fault Diagnosis of Three-Phase PWM Inverters Using Wavelet and SVM

        In this paper, a diagnosis method for switch open-circuit faults in three-phase PWM inverters is proposed, which employs support vector machine (SVM) as classifying method. At first, a discrete wavelet transform (DWT) is used to detect a discontinuity of currents due to the fault, and then the features for fault diagnosis are extracted. Next, these features are employed as inputs for the SVM training. After training, the SVM produces an optimized boundary which is used identifying the fault. Finally, the fault classification is performed online with instantaneous features. The experimental results have verified the validity of the proposed estimation algorithm.

        Feedback Linearization Control of Grid-Interactive PWM Converters with LCL Filters

        This paper proposes a feedback linearization control scheme of AC/DC PWM converters with LCL input filters using no damping resisters. Feedback linearization techniques use a transformation from nonlinear system models into equivalent linear models in a simpler form. The feedback linearization scheme in this work has cascade structures unlike usual feedback linearization, therefore it has an advantage that it is possible to limit the capacitor current to a certain level. The performance of the proposed controller is validated with simulation and experimental results.

        Power Flow Study of Low-Voltage DC Micro-Grid and Control of Energy Storage System in the Grid

        DC distribution has several differences compared to AC distribution. DC distribution has a higher efficiency than AC distribution when distributing electricity at the same voltage level. Accordingly, power can be transferred further with low-voltage DC. In addition, power flow in a DC grid system is produced by only a voltage difference in magnitude. Owing to these differences, operation of a DC grid system significantly differs from that of an AC system. In this paper, the power flow problem in a bipolar-type DC grid with unbalanced load conditions is organized and solved. Control strategy of energy storage system on a slow time scale with power references obtained by solving an optimization problem regarding the DC grid is then proposed. The proposed strategy is verified with computer simulations.

To reduce the number of sensors, source voltages and currents are estimated. The performance of the proposed controller is validated with simulation and experimental results.

      • Feedback Linearization Control of Three-Phase UPS Inverter Systems

        <P>In this paper, a feedback linearization technique is proposed to control the output voltage control of three-phase uninterruptible power supply systems. First, a nonlinear model including the output <I>LC</I> filters is derived from the power balance condition between the inverter output terminal and the load side. Then, input-output feedback linearization is applied to the nonlinear model to make it linear. The controller of the linearized model is designed by linear control theory. The tracking control law is obtained with a pole placement technique. It is shown experimentally that the proposed control scheme gives high dynamic responses in response to load variation as well as a zero steady-state error.</P>

        Fault Analysis Method for Power Distribution Grid with PCS-based Distributed Energy Resources

        In this study, we propose a fault analysis method for a power distribution grid with PCSbased DERs. We first explain the characteristics of a PCS-based DER. According to the characteristics, the DER is considered as a current-controlled voltage source, which produces varying voltages within a certain limit so that currents equal to given references flowing from the DER to the grid (currents controlled). So, we introduce the symmetrical equivalent models in the form of varying voltage source for fault analysis and then, construct a convex optimization problem to solve the fault problem associated with the equivalent models and grid conditions. Thus, the proposed method enables to perform a proper fault analysis considering the characteristics of the DER, which are currents controlled, voltage limited, and unity power factor achievement. To verify the validity of the proposed method, we perform computer simulations with the proposed method and with MATLAB Simulink, and the results are compared.
