        Game Theoretical Models of the Cooperative Carrier Behavior

        This paper presents a multi-level modeling approach which captures the cooperative behavior of carriers in maritime freighttransportation networks. Ocean carriers, land carriers and port terminal operators are considered. Port terminal operators are regardedas a special type of carrier for modeling purposes. Ocean carriers are the leaders in a maritime shipping market. Port terminaloperators are the followers of ocean carriers as well as the leaders of land carriers. For cooperating ocean and land carriers,compensation principle is used to find the optimal service charge and routing pattern that maximize their total profit, while portterminal operators act competitively. The concept of Stackelberg game is applied to a multi-level game, assuming a single oceanshipping company (leader) through an alliance. Subsequently, the paper considers cooperation between ocean carriers and portterminal operators, while individual carriers within the same group are considered to act competitively. Cooperative games within thesame carrier group and between different groups of carriers are examined and compared with competitive games. A numericalexample is presented to demonstrate the validity of the developed model.

        Designing an Integrated Logistics Network in a Supply Chain System

        Many companies spend significant amounts of money and time on reverse logistics which mainly deal with transporting and handling returned products. Therefore, efficient management of return products is an urgent and interesting issue facing the companies. This paper presents a facility location problem of the integrated logistics network aiming to improve the efficiency of both forward and reverse logistics. Three types of facilities are identified: Warehouses (forward logistics), collection centers (reverse logistics) and hybrid facilities (both forward and reverse logistics). Instead of the traditional static problem, the paper proposes a nonlinear mixed integer model addressing the dynamic integrated forward and reverse distribution network design problem for 3PLs (Third Party Logistics Providers). A bi-objective model is developed to minimize the total shipping cost and time simultaneously. An example is tested to evaluate the model.

        마을기록물 관리를 위한 KORMARC-통합서지용 형식 적용에 관한 연구

        최근 지역사회 공공도서관을 통해 수집되는 마을기록물은 정리하고 보존하여 주민이 활용할 수 있도록 하기 위해 별도의 시스템을 통해 관리하는 것 보다 도서관 자료의 범주에 포함 시켜 도서관자료관리시스템을 통해 통합 관리하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 ISAD(G)과 DC등 마을기록물을 대상으로 하는 기술표준의 기술요소를 비교분석하여 공통되거나 유사한 기술요소는 통합하여 25개의 기술요소를 도출하였다. 도출된 25개 기술요소는 델파이 기법을 통하여 전문가를 대상으로 3차례에 걸쳐 실증적인 검증을 거쳐 최종 3개 기술영역과 21개 기술요소로 도출하였다. 도출된 기술요소는 KORMARC-통합서지용의 데이터필드와 매핑을 통해 필수, 권장, 선택으로 구분하고 도서관자료관리시스템에 적용할 수 있도록 하였다. The integrated management of community archives, which is conducted by incorporating them into the category of library data through the system of library materials management is more necessary for residents to use community archives by arranging and preserving them collected by public libraries, than management implemented through a separate system. This study therefore draw25 descriptive factors by comparatively analyzing descriptive factors of the descriptive standards for community archives such as ISAD(G) and DC, etc. and integrating common or similar ones. Such 25 drawn descriptive factors were empirically tested three times by professionals through the Delphi technique, and 3 descriptive sectors and 21 descriptive factors were finally drawn. The drawn descriptive factors were divided into mandatory, mandatory if applicable and optional through KORMARC-integrated format for bibliographic data and mapping and applied to the system of library materials management, by adjusting the descriptive factors for the systems.

        Presenilin 2 N141I Mutation Induces Hyperimmunity by Immune Cell-specific Suppression of REV-ERBα without Altering Central Circadian Rhythm

        Circadian rhythm is a 24-hour cycle of behavioral and physiological changes. Disrupted sleep-wake patterns and circadian dysfunction are common in patients of Alzheimer Disease (AD) and are closely related with neuroinflammation. However, it is not well known how circadian rhythm of immune cells is altered during the progress of AD. Previously, we found presenilin 2 (Psen2 ) N141I mutation, one of familial AD (FAD) risk genes, induces hyperimmunity through the epigenetic repression of REV-ERBα expression in microglia and bone marrow-derived macrophage (BMDM) cells. Here, we investigated whether repression of REV-ERBα is associated with dysfunction of immune cell-endogenous or central circadian rhythm by analyses of clock genes expression and cytokine secretion, bioluminescence recording of rhythmic PER2::LUC expression, and monitoring of animal behavioral rhythm. Psen2 N141I mutation down-regulated REV-ERBα and induced selective over-production of IL-6 (a well-known clock-dependent cytokine) following the treatment of toll-like receptor (TLR) ligands in microglia, astrocytes, and BMDM. Psen2 N141I mutation also lowered amplitude of intrinsic daily oscillation in these immune cells representatives of brain and periphery. Of interest, however, the period of daily rhythm remained intact in immune cells. Furthermore, analyses of the central clock and animal behavioral rhythms revealed that central clock remained normal without down-regulation of REV-ERBα. These results suggest that Psen2 N141I mutation induces hyperimmunity mainly through the suppression of REV-ERBα in immune cells, which have lowered amplitude but normal period of rhythmic oscillation. Furthermore, our data reveal that central circadian clock is not affected by Psen2 N141I mutation.
