        금속분말 Ni을 용해 한 Chloride Bath로 도금된 니켈후막의 입자크기에 대한 전류밀도 영향

        Nanocrystalline nickel (Ni) tick films were synthesized by direct current electrodeposition at current density from 1 to 30 mA/cm² and pH = 4. The basic composition of the bath, which was prepared by dissolving Ni metal particles in HCl, was 0.2M Ni ions. The effects of the current density on the average grain size of Ni deposits were investigated by XRD and SEM techniques. The results showed that the surface roughness was decreased as the saccharin addition was increased up to 2 g/l. The experimental results showed that the increase in the current density had a considerable effect on the average grain size of the Ni deposits. The perpendicular magnetization was raised as the thickness of coating layer was increased.

        The inauguration circumstances of the Korean Breeding Society, events of the ordinary general meetings and academic presentation sessions, periodical publications of the journal, number of memberships, officers of the society, and others were briefly described. There was no missing in ordinary general meetings and academic presentation session. Three symposiums were held during twenty five years. The venues for the ordinary general meetings were quite evenly changed throughout the country except Kangwon and Cheju area. The annual events of academic presentation have been increased from 22 in inaugural meeting to about 50 in recent session, annual number of issued papers in periodical journal increased from 8~10 during the inaugural years to about 50 papers in recent years. The individual society members were increased from 146 in 1969 to 652 at present, while institutional memberships were increased from 7 to 74. In this respect, we can suppose the Korean Breeding Society has been progressed about four times in quantity and to immeasurable state in its value or quality.

        栽植樣式, 種子親 對 花粉親比率 및 密度가 단옥수수 單交雜種 採種量에 미치는 影響

        A new high-yielding single cross sweet corn hybrid, Danok 1, was developed at the Crop Experiment Station in 1983. Plant height, 100-kernel weight, and average ear weight of seed parent, KSS-1 are smaller than those of pollen parent, KSS-2. The ear length and diameter are similar in both inbreds. For optimum production practice of sweet corn hybrid seed, two, three and four rows of seed parent to one row of pollen parent were compared using interplanting and conventional planting methods of pollen parent, and with plant populations of 6,666, 8,000, 8,888 and 10,000 plants per 10 ares. The highest seed production planting pattern was one row of pollen parent to four rows of seed parent with 6,666 plants per 10 ares. For full utilization of limited land area for seed production and for placing the pollen parent closer to the seed parent rows, interplanting of pollen parent between normal seed parent rows and conventional four seed parent rows to one pollen parent row planting pattern also were high in hybrid seed production with 8,333 plants population per 10 ares. High direct effects on seed yield were detected for ear-bearing height, stem length, ears per plant and ear diameter of seed parent. High coefficients of determination for ears per plant, stem length of pollen parent and ear length with seed yield also suggest possible high associations of the seed parent’s yield components and pollen parent’s growth including stern length. It was determined as a recommendable practice to remove the pollen parent just after pollination was complete by cutting. Removing the pollen parent at this stage prevented grain formation of pollen parent and possible seed contamination at harvest. Competition with developing seed parent for nutrients or available moisture was minimized thus increasing kernel size and seed yield.

        N/A Gastric emptying study has an important role in patients with gastrointestinal functional disorders without demonstrable mechanical or mucosal abnormalities. Although several meth- ods for detection on gastrointestinal functional disorders are well known, non-invasive scintigraphic technique using a Gamma Camera is taken as a gold standard at present. A Dual-Head Gamma Camera coupled to a computer was used in 20 normal subjects after in- gestion of the mixture of ''T,-labelled scrambled egg in order to determine gastric emptying time. Four values including lag time, T,,(half gastric emptying time), remnant 1 hour, remant 2 hours were taken at all ages. In the female half gastric emptying time and lag time was slightly shorter, and the amount of remnant radioactive counts at one and two hours was smaller than the I,aale without significant difference. Delayed gastric emptying time was above 109. 9 minutes of half gastric emptying time when defined as excess of Mean+ZSD. W e believe this study using a Dual-Head Gamma Camera can be useful for establishment of more accurate gastric emptying study.(Korean J Gastroenterol 1994; 26: 2Z4 229)

        노화흰쥐의 시상하부에서 vasopressin-면역반응 신경세포의 형태학적 변화

        노화는 중추신경계의 구조를 변화시킬 뿐 아니라 여러 신경인자들의 분포에 영향을 미쳐 생체리듬에 많은 변화를 초래한다. vasopressin (VP)은 시상하부에서 분비되는 펩타이드의 일종으로서, 주로 혈압을 상승시키고 항이뇨호르몬 작용을 가진다. 본 연구는 여러 생체리듬조절에 관여하는 시상하부에 분포하는 VP-면역반응 신경세포의 형태학적 변화를 노화흰쥐에서 관찰함으로써 노화로 인한 신경세포 변화를 관찰하고자 하였다. Sprague-Dawley계의 약 12주령인 젊은 흰쥐와 약 18월령의 노화흰쥐에 통상의 조직처리를 한 후 VP 일차항체를 사용하여 면역조직화학염색을 시행한 후 광학현미경으로 비교 관찰하였다. VP의 염색결과, VP-면역반응 신경세포는 주로 시상하부의 뇌실곁핵과 시각로위핵에서 두드러지게 관찰되었으며 노화흰쥐의 VP-면역반응 신경세포에서 핵과 세포체 크기가 젊은흰쥐에 비해 매우 크게 관찰되었으나 노화흰쥐의 VP-면역반응 신경세포의 수는 감소하였다. 그리고 시각교차위핵에서 노화흰쥐에서 VP-면역반응 신경세포의 수는 젊은흰쥐보다 약 2배정도 많이 나타났다. 따라서 노화가 진행됨에 따라 시상하부에서 VP 분비의 변화를 초래하여 다양한 기본생활주기가 달라지고 하루주기행동의 주간리듬(diurnal rhythm)의 변화에 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다. The role of neuropeptides in the central nervous system (CNS) has received increasing attention. Numerous peptide molecules are found in the mammalian CNS and many of them are thought to act as either neurotransmitters or neuromodulators. The neuropeptides found in high concentration in the hypothalamus include vasopressin (VP), vasoactive intestinal polypeptide, somatostatin, and oxytocin. The main approches to assess the involvement of neuropeptides can be focused on functions affecting the aging of the brain. Morphological aging of the CNS has been characterized by degenerative changes of fiber connections and cell loss, although degeneration does not always occur to the same extent throughout various parts of the brain and, moreover, varies for different cell types. Despite of many studies in VP containing neurons , there exist discrepancies in results about the changes of aged rat brain. The aim of the present study is, therefore, to investigative possible changes in the number and morphology of VPimmunoreactive neurons with aging in each area of the hypothalmus of the aged rats. As a result, the number of VP-immunoreactive neurons was decreased in hypothalamus nucleus of aged group. Especially, in VP-immunoreactive neurons of hypothalamus, the size of neuronal cell body and nuclei in aged group is larger than in young group and the fiber density of immunoreactivity neurons of median eminance (ME) in aged group is stronger than in young group. But, the total number of VP-immunoreactive neurons in the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) of the aged group is larger than in the young group. These studies indicate the involvement of VP-immunoreactive neurons in aging process of hypothalamus, and aging process may affect the synthesis of VP in the neurons of hypothalamic nuclei. Whereas, in VP expression, aging process induces an enlargement of the cell size of surviving neurons to compensate.

        옥수수 後期綠體性 形質의 F₂에서의 分離樣相

        The segregating frequency distribution of stay-green score and days to ear leaf senescence(DELS) from silking generally had a simple bi-modal pattern irrespective of planting dates and the pattern of stay-green score shifted to higher level with later stages. The Hi39/KS75 had the longest DELS and it showed highest stay-green characteristics at 67 days after silking(DAS). The KS75 was considered a useful material in breeding of stay-green lines. The distribution patterns of F₂ progenies of Ga209/Hi39 and Ga209/KS75 had highly characterized as related to stay-green at 37 DAS, but that of characteristics shifted to lower levels at 52 DAS, and maintained up to 83 DAS. In the progenies of the three crosses, F₂ from Hi39/KS75 showed high from early days after silking in stay-green score, DELS and number of fresh leaf. It was possible to obtain higher stay-green lines than those of parents in the cross of Hi39/KS75.

        옥수수 後期綠體性 형질의 雜種强勢 및 遺傳力

        High heterosis was expressed in the days from silking to ear leaf senescence(DELS) of F₁ and even in that of F₂ population with Hi39/KS75. In the number of fresh leaf, fresh leaf area and chlorophyll content, highly positive heterosis was observed in F₁ but negative heterosis in F₂ population except Hi39/KS75. Inbreeding depression in the number of fresh leaf, fresh leaf area and chlorophyll content appeared remarkably with the progress of growth especially from 37 to 52 days after silking(DAS) in April 23 planting, but Hi39/KS75 had low inbreeding depression in DELS compared to other two F₂ populations. Among the characters related to stay-green, the number of fresh leaf showed the highest heritability in the crosses with three inbreds Ga209, Hi39 and KS75. The other characters except the days to maturity also exhibited relatively high heritability. Hi39/KS75 showed very high heritability irrespective of planting dates. The stay-green score was found to be significantly correlated with the number of fresh leaf, fresh leaf area and chlorophyll content at the DAS 52. A multiple regression analysis with F₂ population revealed that the number of fresh leaf was much accountable for the variation in DELS and stay-green score, but less accountable in later growing stage.

        연구 논문 : 온순조건과 고온조건에서 용매 추출한 석탄의 특성 비교

        본 연구에서는 온순조건에서 용매 추출된 석탄의 물성과 추출특성을 고온조건에서 추출된 석탄의 것과 비교하였다. 석탄의 용매 추출 특성을 알아보기 위해 추출실험에는 아역청탄(Kideco 탄)과 극성 용매인 N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP)을 사용하였다. 온순조건과 고온조건에서 석탄의 용매 추출 특성을 알아보기 위해 추출온도 변화, 용매 재사용에 따른 추출 특성 변화에 대한 실험을 하였다. 실험결과 추출온도가 증가할수록 추출수율과 추출탄의 발열량은 증가하였고, 회분농도는 감소하였다. FT-IR 분석 결과 고온조건(350 ℃)에서 추출한 추출탄의 표면에 C=O 아미드 결합, 방향족 에테르, 그리고 지방족 에테르 그룹들이 온순조건(150∼300 ℃)에서 추출한 것에 비해 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. MALDI-TOF/MS 분석 결과 온순조건에서는 300∼500 m/z 범위 이하의 작은 분자들이 주로 추출되었고, 고온조건에서는 500∼1500 m/z 범위에 걸쳐 상대적으로 큰 분자들까지 추출됨을 확인하였다. In this study, we compare various physicochemical properties of solvent extracted coals obtained at both mild and high temperature conditions. In order to characterize the extraction behavior, experiments were performed using a sub-bituminous coal (Kideco) and a polar solvent (N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone, NMP), where the extraction temperature and the effect of solvent recycling were evaluated. As the extraction temperature increased up to 350 ℃, an extraction yield and a calorific value of the extracted coal increased, while an ash content of the extracted coal decreased. FT-IR results revealed that the surface of the coal extracted at 350 ℃ was found to contain more amide, aromatic ester, and aliphatic ether groups than that at the lower temperatures. The result of MALDI-TOF/MS analysis confirmed that the smaller molecules with 300∼500 m/z were extracted at a mild condition, while the bigger molecules in the range of 500∼1500 m/z were extracted at the high temperature.

        옥수수 半數體 育種을 위한 葯培養 硏究

        To shorten down our breeding cycle by the di-haploid induced through the anther culture technique, factors affecting the anther culturability in maize were revised. Among 13 hybrids tested, P3424 and Ching-Huang 13 were best genotypes for anther culture. The induction ratio were 0.71% in Ching-Huang 13 and 0.64% in P3424. Ninety three embryoids induced from 49,200 anthers plated and 11 plantlets produced from these embryoids. Microspores in early-uninucleate stage responded to culture in Ching-Huang 13. Leaf number can be a good growth index for the tassels bearing the uninucleate microspores. Anthers in one tassel varied in their developmental stages. Anther culture efficiency improved by the cold pretreatment and osmotic pressure. A 9℃-14 days treatment brought the best result. The effect of osmotic pressure was rather remarkable ; maximum of 5 times in producing plantlets. Among 11 plantlets produced 4 plants were survived and were detected as haploids. Through colchicine treatment 2 kernels were harvested. Further studies should be followed to confirm the above results.

        각종재배조건이 고구마 수량 및 전분 함량에 미치는 영향

        각종 재배조건 및 저장기간이 고구마 전분함량에 미치는 영향을 구명코저 신미 품종을 공시하여 삽식기별 수수기별 시비량별 토성별 저장기간별로 구분 시험을 실시하였든바 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 5월 15일 삽식에 비하여 만식일수록 괴근수량 및 전분함랴은 감소되었고 특히 6월 5일 이후의 삽식에서 급격히 감소되었으며 괴근수량의 감소정도에 비하여 전분함량의 감소정도는 더욱 심하였다. 2. 10월 5일 적기수확에 비하여 조기수확일수록 괴근수량 및 전분함량은 감소 경향이였고 8월 25일 이전 조기수확은 괴근수량 37~45% 전분함량 5~7%의 감소를 보였다. 3. 시비량에 따라서 전분함량은 차이가 많았으며 대체로 3요소를 균형시비하는 경우 전분함량이 높은 경향이었고 가리질비료를 다용하거나 인산질비료를 시용하지 않은 경우 낮은 경향이였다. 한편 괴근수량에는 $K_20$O>$P_20_5$>N의 순으로 효과가 높았다. 4. 토성에 있어서는 모래나 자갈이 많이 함유되어 있는 토양에서부터 경직토로 갈수록 전분함량은 낮았으나 10a당 전분수량은 조사토 및 식양토에서 높았다. 5. 저장기간중 전분함량은 수량직후에 가장 높고 저장일수가 경과함에 따라 감소하였으나 수확후 10일에서 급격히 감소되었고 그 후의 감소는 근소하였다. Investigation was made to know the effects of the time of transplanting and harvesting, fertilizer, soil texture and period of storage on tuber yield and starch content of sweet potato. Variety used was Shin-mi, one or the leading varieties in Korea. Late transplanting, early harvesting, and balanced application of nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium, and loam and coarse sandy loam were more effective in increasing starch content than early planting, late harvesting, and more application of potassium and none application of phosphorous, and light clay respectively. Long storage period resulted in reducing starch content.
