For the purpose of speed-up of conventional lines with many curves, the introduction and operation of tilting train is under process. Those are Joong-Ang, Jang-Hang and Ho-nam lines etc. Tilting trains can run a curve section faster than existing trains without a significant violation of passenger"s comfort and enable to reduce operating time in the lines with many curves. In this study, the trains speeds are evaluated, based on the alignment of conventional line, criteria for passenger"s comfort and investigated field conditions of the sections where the curves exist. Decision on whether the alignment(transition line) needs to be modified or not is also made. Relative efficiency on curve sections of tilting train to existing trains is approximately 50 % in average.

The regularity of railway track alignment is a crucial component for maintaining travel safety and the smoothness of passenger ride. The conventional spectral analysis has been considered to estimate the severity of the track irregularity from measured data. The time domain data used to be changed into the frequency domain by Fourier transform. Because the measuring points can be regarded as the time points, the spatial-frequency can be introduced instead of the time-frequency. Although FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) and/or PSD(Power Spectral Density) function could provide fairly localized information within frequency domain, but chronical configurations of data could be missed. In this study, we attempt to apply the Morlet wavelet transform for the purpose of a frequency-time-domain analysis rather than a frequency-domain analysis. The applicability of wavelet transform is examined for the estimation of the track irregularity with real measured track data on the section of Kyoung-bu line by EM-120 measuring vehicle. It is shown that the wavelet transform can be an effective tool to manage the track irregularity.

As the applications for Mobile Ad-hoc NETworks (MANETs) have varied, performance analysis has become one of the main research areas. They commonly offer only simple radio propagation models that neglect obstacles of a propagation environment. The radio wave propagation model has a strong impact on the results of the simulation run. In this paper we present the new experimental results of the impacts of the various propagation models on MANETs' performance. Intensive simulations have been presented using the group mobility which models typical ad-hoc situations such as military movements or disaster recovery activities under the supervision of a group leader. Comparisons of conventional simple models with more complicated models, i.e., shadowing, Raleigh, and Ricean models, show that, in spite of the models' popularity, the free space and two-ray ground models are too optimistic in describing real ad-hoc group mobility situations.
족관절 추나요법을 병행한 족관절 염좌 환자의 호전 비교

Objectives : The purpose of this study is to compare with the effect of general oriental medical treatment with or without ankle joint Chuna Manual Therapy for acute ankle sprain. Methods : We investigated 36cases of ankle sprain patients, and devided patients into two groups: One was treated general oriental medical treatment(Control Group) and the other was treated ankle joint Chuna Manual Therapy with general oriental medical treatment(Experimental Group). Results : 1. Each Group had significantly decrease in Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and significantly increase in Ankle-Hind-foot Scale(AHS) after treatment. 2. Experimental Group was significant differences in Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and Ankle-Hind-foot Scale(AHS) compare to Control Group. Conclusions : In this clinical study, general oriental medical treatment with ankle joint Chuna Manual Therapy was more effective in reduce ankle sprain pain and improve ankle joint function.
PSC-U형거더와 프리캐스트콘크리트 바닥판 합성가이드웨이에서 궤도시스템 연구

도시형자기부상열차는 운행구간이 주로 도심지에 위치하므로 고가 구조물공사는 도심교통난을 가중시킬 수 있는 요소이며, 이러한 문제를 최소화하기 위해 도심지 건설에 따른 도시미관을 고려한 슬림화와 공사기간을 단축시키는 급속 시공기술이 필요하여 최근 교량 급속시공에 대한 공법의 개발과 활용이 확대되고있다. 기존의 모노블럭 설치방법은 현장에서 콘크리트플린스 설치를 위한 작업에 많은 시공기간이 필요하지만 프리캐스트바닥판과 이 논문에서 연구하는 궤도시스템을 활용하면 현장시공기간을 줄일 수 있다. 모노블럭 방식이 기존의 기계연구원시험선과 일본 리니모에 적용되었고, 최근 도시형자기부상열차 실용화 사업을 통해 투윈블럭방식이 제안되어 경제적으로나, 미관상 유리한점이 많지만 현장시공자들에게 익숙하지 않아 사용성 확대가 확정되지 않은 현 시점에서 보다 시공자들에게 익숙한 모노블럭 방식과 프리캐스트바닥판을 합성하는 급속시공방안을 연구하고자 한다. As the urban maglev train will run a route that is mostly downtown, the elevated structure is an element that might possibly worsen traffic congestion and thus, to minimize such a problem, we need to have construction technology to streamline the structure in consideration of the urban landscape as well as to reduce the construction schedule. Recently a construction method enabling the shortening of bridge construction duration has been developed and employed. Though the existing mono block installation method requires an extended period for the installation of the concrete plinth, it is expected to reduce the on-site construction schedule, if precast concrete slabs and the track system proposed in this study can be used. A mono block system has been applied to the KIMM test track and Linimo in Japan, and moreover a twin-block type recently developed has an advantage in cost efficiency and aesthetic appearance. It is still unfamiliar with the builders however, blocking progress in its on-site application. This study intends to propose a quick-construction method combining the mono block system with precast concrete slabs that are familiar to the builders.
자기부상열차 가이드웨이 거더의 실험적 연구 : PSC-U 형 거더와 프리캐스트 바닥판의 합성 시스템

Maglev is a system that a train runs levitated above a rail. Therefore it is very important to maintain a constant levitation gap for achieving serviceability and ride comfort. This study is a cooperation research subject of the 3-1 subject, performance improvement of maglev track structures, of the Center for Urban Maglev Program in Korea, started in 2006. The aim of this study is development of rapid constructions of bridge superstructure for maglev. At present, precast deck is widely used because of its superiority to cast-in-place concrete on quality and the term of works. The research group suggested basic systems of maglev guideway with PSC-U type and trapezoidal open steel box type girder, and precast deck, cooperating with Korea Railroad Research Institute, the managing institute of the 3-1 subject. In this study, longitudinally full-scale guideway girder system was fabricated and static/dynamic test of the girder was performed for the purpose of the performance evaluation.
