        Reconstruction of the composite mandibular defect resulting from ablative resection of tumor involved jaw has been challenging task to the plastic surgeon. A wide variety of different techniques were used with limited success until the advent of microsurgery. The high success rate of microsurgical procedures has allowed for significant improvement in both functional and aesthetic results. A variety of free flap donor sites have been used successfully for mandibular reconstruction. Between April of 1991 and August of 1998, 20 mandibular reconstructions were performed for oncologic defects. 4 patients underwent mandibular reconstruction with pectoralis major flap, 3 patients with free nonvascularized bone graft, 1 patient with metal plate. 12 patients underwent microvascular mandibular reconstruction(8: fibula, 4: ilium). The type of free flap was determined by the requirements of the defect. Satisfactory aesthetic and functional results were achieved in all cases without significant complications. So microvascular mandibular reconstruction should be considered as primary choice in all mandibular defect without hesitation.

        증기발생기 전열관 와전류검사용 국내 개발 보빈탐촉자 적용성 분석

        Steam Generator(SG) tube is an important component of Nuclear Power Plant(NPP), which is the pressure boundary between the primary and secondary systems. The integrity of SG tube has been confirmed by the eddy current test every outage. The eddy current technique adopting bobbin probe is currently the primary technique for the steam generator tubing integrity assesment. The bobbin probe is one of the essential components which consist of the whole ECT examination system and provides us a decisive data for the evaluation of tube integrity. Until now, all of the ECT bobbin probes in Korea which is necessary to carry out inspection are imported from overseas. However, KHNP has recently developed the bobbin probe design technology and transferred it to domestic manufacturers to fabricate the probes. This study has been conducted to establish technical requirements applicable to the steam generator tube inspection using the bobbin probes fabricated by the domestic manufactures. The results have been compared with the results obtained by using foreign probe to identify the availability to the steam generator tube inspection. As a result, it is confirmed that the domestic bobbin probe is generally applicable to SG tube inspection in the NPPs.

        소프트웨어 로봇들은 시뮬레이트된 센서와 실행기들을 가지고 가상 환경 안에서 자율적으로 동작하는 지능형 가상 에이전트로 볼 수 있다. 지능형 가상 에이전트 연구용 테스트베드들은 에이전트들의 성능 평가를 위해 표준화된 작업들을 구현할 수 있고, 환경이나 실험 에이전트들을 제어할 수 있는 도구들이다. 본 논문에서는 RoboCup 축구 시뮬레이션시스템, Gamebots 시스템, USARSim 시스템 등과 같은 지능형 가상 에이전트와 멀티 에이전트시스템 연구를 위한 대표적인 테스트베드들을 간략히 소개한다.

        거문도를 중심으로 하는 세일링요트 안전항로 개발에 관한 연구 - 전남 여수 거문도와 제주특별자치도 김녕항 루트를 중심으로 -

        본 연구는 여수에서 출항하여 백도와 도서문화가 살아있는 거문도를 거쳐 제주 김녕항으로 이어지는 해양관광 크루즈 세일링 요트 항로를 제안하였다. 최근 해양레저 활성화에 비례하여 안전사고도 늘어나고 있으며, 세일링 요트의 특성을 고려한 안전항로 개척은 지역별, 해역별로 조사되어야 한다. 따라서 거문도의 사례를 통해 분석해 보면 해양문화의 소개, 국제요트대회유치, 다기능항으로 개발 등이 필요하고, 특히 해당 항로의 운항패턴과 밀집도 분석 등이 추가로 도출되어야 할 것이다. 이러한 정보는 세일링 요트의 운항 안전율을 높여 지역 관광산업에 도움이 될 것이다. This study suggests a navigation route for maritime tourism cruise sail yacht that sails off from Yeosu, and passes by Baekdo and Geomundo with their live island culture, to Kimnyeonghang of the Jeju islands. Recently, there are increasing number of accidents in proportion to vitalizing marine leisure. That's why it should be examined by region and sea when developing safe sea route considering characteristics of the sailing yacht. Thus, it is needed to introduce marine culture, hold international sailing yacht race and develop multi-functional sea port according to the case of Geomundo. Also additional analysis for navigation ruote patterns and density of the fairway is required. This information will improve safe sailing level of sailing yacht that will help the local tourism industry.

        배열형 탐촉자를 이용한 증기발생기 세관 검사 적용성 검토

        Steam Generator(SG) tube is an important component of Nuclear Power Plant(NPP), which comprises of the pressure boundary of primary system. The integrity of SG tube has been confirmed by the eddy current test every outage. In Korea, Bobbin probe and MRPC probe have been generally used for the eddy current test. Meanwhile the usage of Array probe has gradually increased in U.S., Japan and other countries. In this study, we investigated the defect detection capability of the Array probe through its preliminary application to SG tube inspection. The Array probe has the equivalent capability in the defect detection and sizing as the conventional methods. Thus it is desirable that the Array probe is generally applied to SG tube inspection in the domestic NPPs.

      • 원전 증기발생기 와전류검사 시스템 현장적용 연구

        Steam generator is one of the most important component of nuclear power plant, and it's integrity and reliability are to be assured to high level by pre-service inspection and in-service inspection. To improve the reliability of steam generator heat exchanger tubes and to secure the management of nuclear power plant safely, KHNP CRI recently has developed eddy current testing system for steam generator. KHNP CRI have performed a series of experimental verification and field application to confirm the performance of the developed ECT system in accordance with ASME Code requirements. The ECT system consists of a remote data acquisition unit, an ECT signal acquisition and analysis software, a water chamber robot controller and a probe push-puller. In this paper, we will details of the developed ECT system and the software and their experimental performance. And also we will report the field applying performance and the issues for further steps.

        디지털 샘플링(Digital Sampling)에 관한 저작권법적 연구

        Due to the existence of computer and development of its technology, anybody may make new music with the help of the synthesizer which is not expensive, and the problems about the digital sampling of sound recording have arisen in Korea. However, Korean courts have not decided any case because most issues about digital sampling have been settled before going to court. Therefore, this article introduces some U.S. cases and BGH cases to help Korean courts to decide in the future. Finally, this article argues the de minimis use test and fair use doctrine in U.S. courts should be applied to most digital sampling case to promote the progress of culture and Korean courts should not follow the BGH reasoning because, in most digital sampling cases, most people may not recognize the original music in the new music.

        일시적 복제 도입의 문제점

        한·미 FTA의 이행으로 대한민국 저작권법은 일시적 저장도 저작권을 침해할 수 있다는 제도를 도입하게 되었다. 이 제도는 미국의 MAI v. Peak 사건 이후 많은 나라에서 도입되었지만 미국과 호주를 제외하면 판례가 거의 존재하지 않는 상황에서 도입되었기 때문에 어떻게 적용될 지에 대해서 예견하기가 매우 어렵다. 이와 더불어 컴퓨터프로그램 이용자의 의사와 관계없이 복제되도록 만들어진 폰노이만 컴퓨터 구조에서 어떻게 민사상의 고의나 과실 또는 형사상의 고의를 인정할 수 있는지 의심을 가지게 한다. 이와 더불어 침해의제행위와 일시적 복제에 대한 조문의 충돌로 인하여 법정책적으로 모순이 있기 때문에 저작권위원회나 문화체육관광부의 가이드라인이 나와야 할 것으로 생각된다. 이러한 주장을 설명하기 위하여 미국과 호주의 판례를 언급하고, 한국저작권법에 적용되기 어려운 점을 본 논문에서 소개하고자 한다. To implement Kor-US FTA, Korean Copyright Act adopted new system that temporary reproduction in RAM may be copyright infringement. This system has been adopted in many countries since MAI v. Peak decided by 9th Circuit of United States, but it is very difficult to find cases about temporary reproduction except U.S. or Australian cases and, in U.S., some courts did not recognize the copyright infringement when RAM reproduction was made without the volition of users and in Australia, some courts did not accept copyright infringement when copyrighted work was reproduced in RAM. Because Korean Copyright Act adopted the temporary reproduction may be regulated by copyright owner, the provision should be enforced. However, the adoption may be not be reconciled with the legal system which requires intention or negligence in Tort and requires intention in criminal case. This paper argues that because most temporary reproduction under Copyright Act cannot be regulated in most cases, Korean Copyright Council or The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism should declare the guideline before courts make a decision about temporary reproduction.

        동해에서 돌연고파의 기준 제안

        동해에서 주로 겨울철에 발생하며 파고가 크고 주기가 긴 너울성 고파의 주요 특성 중 하나는 잔잔한 상태에서 갑자기 파가 커지는 돌발성이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 돌발성을 나타내기 위하여 돌연고파라는 용어를 도입하였다. 돌연고파의 기준을 제안하기 위하여 강릉과 왕돌초에서 2005년부터 8년간 관측된 파랑자료와 같은 기간 동안 강원도와 경상북도 연안에서 발생했던 해상 사고 기록을 비교하였다. 그 결과 Δ(H<SUP>2</SUP>L)/Δt가 상위 20% 값인 88.6 ㎥/hr 이상일 때 대부분의 사고 기록과 일치하는 것으로 나타나 이를 돌연고파의 기준으로 제안하였다. 사용된 변수는 한 파장당 파랑 에너지의 단위시간당 증가율을 나타내며, 고파의 파고 및 주기뿐만 아니라 돌발성도 포함한다. One of the major characteristics of the swell-like high waves, which occur in the East Sea mostly in winter with large height and long period, is its suddenness associated with the rapid development of high waves from a calm state of sea. To represent such suddenness, in this study, the term sudden high waves is introduced. To propose the criterion of sudden high waves, comparisons were made between the wave measurement data at Gangneung and Wangdolcho for eight years from 2005 and the record of marine accidents and property damage on the coast of Gangwon-do Province and Gyeongsangbuk-do Province during the same period. It was found that most of the accidents occurred when Δ(H<SUP>2</SUP>L)/Δt was approximately greater than the top 20% or 888.6 ㎥/hr, which is therefore proposed as the criterion of sudden high waves. The used variable represents the rate of increase of the wave energy in one wavelength, including not only height and period but also suddenness of high waves.
