        Genome-wide investigation of a Korean synthetic breed, Woori-Heukdon using the Illumina PorcineSNP60K BeadChip

        Background: Woori-Heukdon (KWH) is a Korean synthetic pig breed generated using Chookjin-Duroc (KCD), Chookjin-Chamdon (KCC), and their crossbreds. Currently, there is a severe lack of studies investigating the Korean breed populations including wild boars (KWB) throughout the genome. Objective: This study was performed to investigate the genetic characteristics of Korean pig populations at the genome-wide level. Methods: Using the SNP dataset derived from genotyped and downloaded datasets using the Illumina PorcineSNP60K BeadChip, we compared the genomes of 532 individuals derived from 23 pig breeds to assess the genetic diversity, inbreeding coefficient, genetic differentiation, and population structure. Results: KWB showed the lowest average expected heterozygosity (HE = 0.1904), while KWH showed the highest genetic diversity (HE = 0.02859) among Korean populations. We verified that the genetic composition of KWH, showing USD of 74.8% and KCC of 25.2% in ADMIXTURE analysis. In population structure analyses, KCC was consistently shown to be separated from other pig populations. In addition, we observed gene flow from Western pigs to a part of Chinese populations. Conclusion: This study showed that Korean native pigs, KCC have genetic differences in comparison with Chinese and Western pigs; despite some historical records and recent genetic studies, we could not find any clear evidence that KCC was significantly influenced by Chinese or Western breeds in this study. We also verified the theoretical genomic composition of KWH at the molecular level in structure analyses. To our knowledge, this is the first genomic study to investigate the genomic characteristics of KWH and KCC.

      • 水球選手의 無酸素性 파워에 관한 硏究

        The purpose of this study was to analyze the Anaerobic Power and Blood lactate concentration of Water-polo players (University and high school) in incremental load exercise. Subjects were selected from Korean National College of Physical Education and Seoul High School, whose careers had been 3 to 4 years in water-polo. The study utilized isokinetic muscle contraction test and Wingate test by Cybex-Ⅱ and computerized bicycle-ergometer. The results of the study were as follows : 1. Anaeroble powers of water-polo players of the university and high school respectively were 57.62±3.99%, 48.8±8.74% in Extensor and were 45.5±7.30, 39.0±6.96% in Flexor by Cybex-Ⅱ. 2. Anaerobic powers between two groups by wingate test were 57.62±3.99KPM/S in College group, 50.58±3.17PM/S in High School group with a mean power and 68.49±6.19KPM/S in College group, 61.32±3.64KPM/S in High School group with maximal state. But It was a statistically significant differences (p <.001) between two group. Fatigue index of water-polo players of College and high school saparately were 31.14±2.36% and 37.96±4.56%. These data showed a statistically significant difference (p<.001). 3.Maximal blood lactate concentrations between College players and High School Players were 8.6±0.73mmoles/1 and 7.4±1.88 mmoles/1, revealing a statistically significant difference (p< .01) in 3 minute recovery. And recovery ratio respectively are 64.4%, 62.9% in not statistically significant difference at 10 minute of recovery. 4. Correlation coefficients between endurance ratio of extensor, flexor and maximal blood lactate respectively showed 0.872, 0.804 for water-polo player of univ. and high school. Between means, maximal values of wingate test and maximal blood lactate are 0.849, 0.860.

        A past monthly data is not faithful so much for a short term. But, the stochastic generation technique was provide of a long-term data. Thus this study is used a data which generated a monthly inflow amounts data by Thomas-Fiering model. This model is needed a certain process which determination of distribution, decision of continuous durability, etc. It was generated a inflow data every one month as Thomas-Fiering method. The generated inflow data was used input data for a monthly cumulative analysis. This analysis obtained a storage capacities which would be required during droughts having various return periods. It was presented a equation of fitting regression that carried out regression analysis of 5,10, 20, 50 years period.

      • 새로운 Acetylcholinesterase inhibitors의 합성

        노인성 치매의 일종인 alzheimer's disease의 효과적인 억제제를 합성하기 위해 우리는 분자 모델링에 의한 가장 적합한 물질인 m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid를 합성하였다. 출발물질인 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate의 경우 boronic acid의 작용기인 hydroxyl group을 protecting시킴으로써 반응의 안정성을 기하였다. Quarternary ammonium salt는 과량의 methyliodide와 염기 촉매인 potassium hydrogen carbonate를 사용하여 용매인 methanol에서 반응시켜 상당히 높은 수율을 얻을 수 있었다. 또한 과량의 methyliodide와 염기촉매인 potassium hydrogen carbonate를 사용하여 용매인 methanol에서 반응시킨 결과 boronic acid의 protection없이도 안정하게 반응이 진행되어짐을 확인할 수 있었다. In order to syntheisize a effective inhibotor for alzheimer's disease, we synthesized m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4 which is designed by molecular modeling form. We protected the hydroxyl group of 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 with ethlyne glycol to remove the reactivity if hydroxyl group. To synthesize m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4, we reacted 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 with ezcess methyl iodide and potassium hydrogen carbonate as a base-catalyst in methanol. but On executed reaction without protection on hydroxyl group, we found out the result that the hydroxyl group of boronic acid group at 3-aminophenylboronic acid monohydrate 1 didn't react with excess methyliodide. Synthesized m-[(N,N,N-trimethylammonio)phenyl]boronic acid 4 is in progress about biological tests as a plausible acetylcholinesterase inhibitor.

      • 이옥소우라늄(VI)이온과 질소- 산소 주개원자를 가진 거대고리 리간드와의 착물 형성에 관한 연구

        수용액에서 디아자 크라운 에테르 계의 고리 원자 수가 15개에서 18개인 거대고리 리간드와 이옥소우라늄(VI) 이온 간의 착물 형성에 대한 안정도 상수를 전위차적정법으로 조사하였다. 착물의 안정도 상수는 NenOdienH₄ < NtnOdienH₄< Ntn(OH)OtnH₄< NtnOenH₄< NtnOtnH₄의 순이었으며, 이와같은 안정도 상수의 변화에는 리간드의 염기도와 주개 원자의 배열이 영향을 미치고 있었다. 한편, 모든 리간드는 이옥소우라늄(VI) 이온과 매우 안정한 착물을 형성하는 것으로 밝혀졌는데, NenOdienH₄와 NtnOdienH₄착물의 안정도 상수를 여러 온도에서 조사한 결과, 착물의 안정도에는 착물 형성 과정의 엔탈피 및 엔트로피 변화 모두가 기여하고 있었다. The complexation of 15 to membered diaza crown ethers with dioxouranium(Ⅵ) ion were studied by potentiometry in aqueous solutions. The order of stability constants were NenOdienH₄ < NtnOdienH₄< Ntn(OH)OtnH₄< NtnOenH₄< NtnOtnH₄. The basicity and the arrangement of donor atoms on the ligands were affected on the stabilities. And all ligands formed very stable complex with dioxouranium(Ⅵ) ion. The stability constants of NenOdienH₄and NtnOdienH₄complexes were measured at various temperatures. As the results, enthalpy and entropy change of the complexation were distributed on the complex stabilities.

        Today the importance of the function of cadastre has deen newly recognized by the government, the society, the individual, and organization. The land planning by the government, The use of land for industries, and the individual's ownership and its administration hold much more weight in our economic actuality. Furthermore, as the land is the marginal land and is required for taking measures to the demesne of the increase of population and for rendering great services to the national welfare coming from the upraising level of income and the change of the view of value. The more the land is important, the more registry is needed, for the actuality of the land is accompanied with the theory of cadastre. The use of land ley human being who has developed the surface of the land has been to the solid times, and has been also diversified into the development of sea. But the cadastre system has not accepted it yet and has not given full answers to diverse demand because of poverty of theory. Today the advanced nations have much interests in the general cadastre system and the studies related to the cadastre on the ground of the importance of the cadastre. In the meantime, mainly, the practical theory and the surveying technique developed by the working- level staffs have been arrived at a regular level, but the theory of cadastre as an information sources to act up to the desire of the modern still. The systematization of the theory of cadastre is a problem of the modern cadastre, and this shall be a driving power to bloom the flower of the land culture in this land. Therefore, this treatise is written on the focus of interests in the systematization of the theory.

      • 전이금속과 질소 - 산소를 가진 거대고리 리간드와의 착물형성에 관한 연구

        The stability constants of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II) ions with macrocyclic ligands containing nitrogen and oxygen donors such as 1, 15-diaza-3, 4:12, 13-dibenzo-5, 8, 11-trioxacycloheptadecane(NEOD), 1, 12, 15-triaza-3, 4 : 9, 10-dibenzo-5, 8-dioxacycloheptadecane(NDOE) have been determined by UV-VIS spectrophotometric method in DMSO. The order of complex stability constants of the transition metal ions with ligands is Co(II) < Ni(II) < Cu(II), the same as the natural order of stability published by Williams-Irving, and stability constants have been found to be effected by the chelate effect of macrocyclic ligands, so the order of ligands effect is NEOD < NDOE.

        This is a study on the housing environment and its problems with special reference to its demand and supply problem in this regional city. The city of Cheong-ju is generally known as an educational, cultural, and also well regarded as a good city to live in comfort. But the housing problem is one of serious problems in this city than in any other cities. It seems that resolving the problem in near future may not be possible but as the government has designated this city as one of core regional cities the housing problem in this city may be dealt with better priority. This paper looked into the houing demand and its supply and then pursued on the housing environment in order to find ways. to improve the situation in this seemingly stabilized city.

      • 3個의 耕耘날을 利用한 平衡振動式 耕耘裝置(Ⅴ) : 運動解析과 要因分析

        This is the fifth part of series of reports on the study on a blanced-type oscillating tillage implement using triple blades system. Previous reports were made on the characteristics of power requirement and vibration with which tillage implements were oscillated parappep and perpendicular to the travelling direction. In this paper, the locus and motion analysis of the tillage blade and factor analysis were carried out. Obtained results are as follows : 1. The loci od the blade edge were described as helix curve at vertical oscillation and as lacerated curve at horizontal oscillation to the soil bin movement. 2. The motion equations of blade edge are estimated as follows. Vertical forced vibration ?? ?? Horizontal forced vibration ?? ?? 3. The multiple regression equations for resultant oscillating acceleration draft, specific resistance, and torque were established by using frequency, amplitude, life angle of tillage blade, and velocity of carriage as indepentent vibrations, respectively. 4. By reducing the velocity ratio is increased providing higher effect of the reduced draft. But this effect contradicted to achieve the reduced osillating acceleration. Both effects should be considered simultaneously to find out the optimum operating condition. 5. The reduction effect of the oscillating acceleration was slightly favoured to the horizontal forced vibration type, but traction efficiency could be lowered due to the increased slippage. Therefore, it can be concluded that the vertical forced vibration type is more appropriate considering overall performances. 6. From the experimental results, the optimum operating conditions of the vertical forced vibration type are recommended as follow ; life angle 30 degree, operation velocity 0.15 metre per second, amplitude 4-6 millimetre, and frequency 22.5 hertz.
