        An experimental study was conducted to investigate the applicability of non-woven fabric filter as an alternative separation material in membrane combined activated sludge process. The most advantage of the fabric filtration activated sludge system is the low operation and maintenance cost resulting from the ready available material and gravity filteration. The system was consisted of two reactors, anoxic and aerobic one with working volume of 0.28㎥ and 0.47㎥, respectively. The non-woven fabric filter module was immersed in the aerobic compartment for separation of activated sludge by gravity filtration. Although the system showed high potential to treat domestic wastewater the initial leakage of bio-solid from the reactor and reduction of permeate flux were main problems of the system. The initial flux of 0.4㎥/㎡/day reduced to 0.2㎥/㎡/day in 12 days operation at 133㎝ water head. During the stable operation period, average SS concentration of effluent was 1.8㎎/L showing 96.4% removal. Organic removal efficiency was 98.3% as COD_Cr and 91.6% as BOD with the effluent concentration, 14.4㎎/L and 1.5㎎/L, respectively. T-N removal efficiency was 60% at C/N ratio 4.5.

        The importance of the railway station is focused in this study, since it plays role of the traffic center in the region. This study is aimed to plan the escape flow in the railway station in order to maintain the safety and promote conveniency for passengers and loadings. The investigation of the escape flow is conducted for the most highly used platform and waiting room. Then, this study provides information in designing the railway station in terms of the case situation and types of railway building. Finally, this study gives useful information for determining the requirements for planning the escape flow in the railway buildings.

      • 효율적인 영상 이진화를 위한 적응적 Water Flow Model에 관한 연구

        In this paper, we propose an improved method to overcome the drawbacks of the existing water flow model based method for document image binarization. The proposed method defines the region of interest (ROI) around character areas to restrict rainfall onto the terrain surface. The amount of water required to fill a local valley is automatically determined according to the properties of the valley, thereby eliminating an iterative rainfall procedure which is very time consuming process in the existing method. Finally, to threshold the amount of water filled, a local adaptive method is applied to each pond. In the experiments on three document images, the proposed method showed better performances than the existing water flow model based method in terms of both quality and speed.

        이소 맹출한 하악 측절치의 교정적 치험례

        이소 맹출(ectopic eruption)은 치배가 그 발생지에서부터 정상 맹출 경로가 변화된 것을 의미한다. 즉, 치아가 치조골 혹은 기저골의 어느 위치에서 정상 맹출 과정에서 벗어나 비정상적인 위치나 방향으로 맹출하게 됨을 말한다. 이에 대한 다른 예로써 보다 드물고 특별한 치아 이상으로 전위(transposition)가 있는 데, 이는 같은 치열궁상에서 치아의 위치가 서로 바뀐 것을 말한다. 본 증례는 하악 측절치가 혼합치열기 초기에 제 1 유구치 하방으로 이소 맹출중인 치아 이상을 보여주는 데, 이 하악 측절치의 치관은 원심으로 심하게 경사졌고, 인접 유견치와 제 1 유구치의 치근 흡수를 야기하고 있다. 이와 같은 맹출 이상의 원인은 아직 확실히 규명되지 않았으나 현재 다음의 몇가지 원인을 생각할 수 있다.; (1)과거의 외상 병력, (2)유치의 만기 잔존, (3)유치의 조기 탈락, (4)유전적 요인. 치료법으로는 조기의 interceptive treatment와 보다 나중의 definitive treatment로 구분된다. 이소 맹출하는 하악 측절치는 인접 견치와 완전 전위되는 경향이 있으므로 조기의 교정적 간섭이 요구된다. 이는 이후의 영구치 발거나 완전 전위를 예방할 수 있을 것이다. 이러한 측절치의 이소 맹출을 바로잡는 데 있어서 고려해야할 중요한 요인은 치료 시기로써 일반적으로 혼합 치열기의 inter-transitional period 초기에 발육 중인 견치에서부터 멀리 떨어져 있을 때, 해당 측절치의 levelling과 근심화가 시행되어야 할 것이다. 본 증례는 아직 영구 견치가 맹출하기 이전인 혼합 치열기 초기에 적극적인 교정적 처치를 시행하여 이소 맹출중인 측절치를 본래 위치로 유도하였다. 주요어 : 이소 맹출, 전위, 교정적 간섭 Ectopic eruption should be understood as a change in the course of the normal eruption path of a dental bud at any moment its origin. An example of this alteration is the dental transposition, a rare and more specific dental anomaly that may be defined as a change of position between two teeth. This case shows ectopic eruption of transposed mandibular lateral incisor beneath primary first molar at the first transitional period of the mixed dentition. The crown of the lateral incisor has tipped distally, compelling root resorption and exfo1iation of the adjacent primary cuspid and primary first molar. The reason for such eruption is not elearIy understood, but it may involve ; (1)trauma history. (2)prolonged retention of the deciduous teeth. (3) premature exfoliation of the deciduous teeth. and (4)genetic factor. Treatment is divided into interceptive and definitive treatment. Ectopically erupting mandibular incisor tends to become transposed with the adjacent cuspid and thus seems to warrant early orthodontic intervention Early treatment may obviate later extraction of transposition of the incisor and canine in the permanent dentition. Timing is an important factor to be considered regarding in the correction of the lateral incisor transposition. This case advocates treatment with an active orthodontic therany at the early stage of the mixed dentition. before the eruption of the permanent cuspid.

        The index of residential environment is an item that can be an axis of evaluation in evaluating residential environment and the level is a spatial measure indicated with a use of the index. This study is to examine the index of sustainable residential environment evaluation index. Sustainability can be classified into three different concepts: economic, environmental, and social. Economic sustainability indicates consideration of stable development of the city and regional economy in the future, environmental sustain ability indicates consideration of physical environment to prevent deterioration of future residential environments and social sustainability indicates consideration of preservation of culture and history in communities. The common question in these is how the people who live and act in each community contribute to their future community.

      • 간편 간접추론방법 퍼지 제어기를 이용한 2×2 상호 결합공정 제어에 관한 연구

        This paper describes the design of SIIM (Simplified Indirect Inference Method) fuzzy controller and decoupling filter for 2x2 interacting process. The overall system for Two-Input Two-output(TITO) interacting processes consist of two fuzzy SISO PID controllers and 4 decoupling filter elements. The proposed fuzzy controller preserves the simple linear structure of its conventional counterpart, but has nonconstant gains, which enhances its self-tuning control capability, thereby significantly improves tracking control performance. The fuzzification, control-rule execution and defuzzification routines are so simple that the proposed controller has the ability of high speed inference and to adapt the increase of fuzzy inputs. The proposed fuzzy control system with three types decoupling filters are tested in tow types of 2x2 interaction processes. All computer simulation results have demonstrated superior to the control performance of the one proposed by K.A Toh et al.

      • 慶北大學校 Campus 內 Bench 設値現況 및 利用實態分析

        This study was to establish a basic theory of facilities. In this study, establishment status, users' actual conditions' senses were investigated about bench in KPNU. The main results of this study were as follows: 1) The bench type was classified 6 types. They were named as bench shape.. Rentangle (87.0%) was established the highest. And concrete(47.0%) was the highest in case of materials. Backboard was all much the same number in case of established(46.5%) and unestablished(53.5%). 2) There was not bench size standard and most of benches were unfit to the humanscale. It indicated that bench, design and construction must consider the humanscale. 3) Bench was used for rest and talks(85.0%). Arrangement direction of bench was considers and more bench for rest was constructed in the future. 4) 2-3 persons (76.0%) was the highest in bench users and 3-4 persons (50.0%) who use the other places was the highest in case of user group. It suggested that bench for 2-4 persons was needed for bench users. 5) In the post-occupancy evaluation, design, color, and number of bench were evaluated below the normal. Especially, concrete bench (non backboard) was evaluated negatively in convenience, harmony with surroundings, design, and quality of material. More benches were needed and design, color, convenience, quality of material, and harmony with surroundings were considered convenience, quality of material, and harmony with surroundings were considered in bench construction. In conclusion, this study was researched only one facilities, but study with various facilities in various sites (school, park, amusement park, street, and parking area) were needed in the future.

        Starter 및 멸치액젓 첨가가 김치양념 및 겉절이 김치의 품질에 미치는 영향

        양념에 Leu. mesenteroides, Lac plantarum의 젖산균과 멸치액젓 첨가가 김치 양념의 대장균군 제어, 속성촉진여부 및 관능적 특성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Leu. mesenteroides과 젓갈을 첨가한 경우 초기 숙성이 촉진되나 후기 산패는 완만하였으며 Lac. plantarum의 첨가시에는 초기 숙성에는 큰 차이가 없고 후기 산패가 현저하게 진행되었다. 대장균군은 산도 0.80% 이상에서 사멸되었는데 leu. mesenteroides의 경우가 숙성이 촉진되어 보다 신속히 사멸시켰다. 총균수와 젖산균수는 초기에 starter 첨가구는 10^6CFU/mL 정도인데 반해서 starter를 첨가하지 않은 않은 처리구에서 총균수는 10^6CFU/mL , 젖산균수가 10^4CFU/mL 이었고 숙성 후에는 첨가균이 높은 수준을 유지하였다. 하지만 대체적으로 스타터의 첨가가 숙성 및 대장균에 크게 영향을 주지 못하는 경향으로 동일하게 나왔다. 관능적 특성에서는 Leu. mesenteroides 첨가구가 Lac. plantarum의 경우보다 우수하였다. 한편, 시판 겉절이 김치는 산도가 0.09~0.18%, ph 5.46~5.89, 총균수 2.2×10^6~3.1×10^7CFU/mL, 젖산균수는 2.1×10^4~6.6×10^5CFU/mL, 대장균수는 1.8×10^4~7.1×10^5CFU/mL, 염분 1.89%~2.51%으로 스타터 첨가 겉절이에 비해 ph와 염도를 제외한 품질 특성에서 전반적으로 낮은 값을 나타냈다. This study was performed in order to investigate the effect of Leuconostoc mesenteroides, Lactobacillus plantarum and salt fermented anchovy extracts on Kimchi sauce. The sauce was fermented more rapidly by addition of Leu. mesenteroids or salt fermented anchovy extracts on the early fermentation stage than the control, but it was fermented slowly on the late fermentation stage. When L. plantarum was added to the Kimchi on the early fermentation stage, the acidity of Kimchi didn't show a significant difference from the control, but acidity was remarkably increased on the late stage. Coliform group was disappeared when acidity of sauce was higher than 0.8% during fermentation. It was controlled by Leu. mesenteroides but not by L. plantarum. Total count and lactic acid bacterial count of the sauces with starter were 6.30×10^6~1.0×10^7 CFU/mL and 1.04~2.04×10^6 CFU/mL, respectively, but those of the control sauce were 10^6 CFU/mL and 10^4 CFU/mL, respectively. Those count of the sauce with starter were higher than those of the control sauce on the later stage of fermentation. Organoleptic quality of the sauce with Leu. mesenteroides was superior to that with L. plantarum.

        In this study, the mode shape of infinite fluid loaded plate is examined. The stiffeners are assumed to be equally spaced and exert only force on the Plate. The response of a fluid loaded ㄷ-type stiffened plate to a convected harmonic pressure and the far field radiation Produced by a point force excitation have been found by using Fourier transforms, a method which is particularly useful when fluid loading is included. At low and high frequencies the far field Pressure for a point excited stiffened plate is dominated by the fluid properties and the properties of the plate at the point of excitation. Mode in the far field pressure is found at the given direction of scattering frequencies, and in these frequencies the stationary phase wave frequencies are found to coincide with the free wave propagation constants for the stiffened plate. Also, the variation in the modes of the sound pressure level is increased with the increases of the bay space and in the bay area

      • 유용한 젖산균의 프로바이오틱 생균으로서의 주요 특성

        In order to select probiotics with a high survival rate in gut and the growth inhibition of virulent pathogens to human beings or animals, we have examined a variety of microorganisms to assess the artificial gastric acid and bile acid. In addition, microbiological identification, antimicrobial activity, enzyme activity, and antibiotic resistance were performed. The selected strains survived for 24 h in artificial bile after incubation for 2 h in artificial gastric juice. Especially, MY4 strain showed higher survival for 2 h incubation in artificial gastric juice. As a result of API CHL 50 kit test, strains MY4, PT77, and PS-490 were tentatively identified as Lactobacillus plantarum, while strain PS653 was tentatively identified as Lactococcus lactis. All lactic acid bacteria were shown to inhibit the growth of Listeria monocytogenes ATCC 19111 dramatically within 24 h of incubation. In test of API ZYM kit, β-glucuronidase was not produced by any kind of lactic acid bacteria. All strains were resistant to antibiotics such as nisin, tetracycline, streptomycin, and rifamycin.
