        The purpose of this study is to suggest design criteria of the charnel house. The study methods are as follows : first, to investigate cases of 15 charnel houses constructed since 1990's; second, to propose design criteria of the charnel house based on the analysis of existing charnel house. The conclusions are as follows : first, cremated human remains deposit room is to be planned considering architectural environment and users' needs to visit the charnel house; second, the arrangement of windows and lightings is located considering the arrangement of columbariums in the preliminary design stage of charnel houses.

      • 建設現場의 電氣安全意識에 관한 硏究

        This study is based on the examination of 157 employees at various types of construction sites in Kwangju and Chunnam. The purpose of this study is to examine their awareness of electrical installation at construction sites, as well as their consciousness of accidents and the occurrence types of electric-injury accidents. It emphasizes the importance of electric safety education, which is expected at construction sites, and reveals basic data for precautions against electric-injury accidents and efficient safety supervision. In respect of the degree of awareness of accidents, 93.6% of the employees in this survey showed a very high sense of the danger of such accidents. With respect to type of accident, 38.8% replied that accidental falls are the most dangerous, while 44.6% replied that they have experienced electric-injury. In regard to the types of the electric-injury accidents, 38.0% replied that leakage of electricity is the main source of such accidents. It is therefore necessary to strengthen educational programs and precautional plans for electric-injury accidents. It is furthermore required to intensify the periodical execution of safety education, increase the publishing of guidebooks for safety education, and provide for thorough establishment and management of electrical equipment.

      • 建設現場의 電氣設備安全에 관한 調査 硏究

        The purpose of this study is to consider a plan to improve the peoples' electrical safety consciousness by investigating the causal factors and issues of electrical safety accidents at construction fields and to offer effective preventive measures against electrical accidents. The conditions of installation, maintenance, and management of electrical equipment by shape, hydroelectric voltage, and area of construction fields in Kwangju and the Chonnam region were investigated. Thirty- two construction fields were chosen, and their conditions of safety management and installation of high- voltage and subordinate equipment were investigated. The electrical safety consciousness of 157 workers at the fields was surveyed. The main constant of the investigation was the conditions for the installation, maintenance, and management of hydroelectric equipment, the installation and management of electric wiring, the use, of mobile electrical and portable type apparatus, the possession and management of electrical safety devices, the case investigation of electric shocks, and the safety consciousness of the workers at the fields.

      • 生活쓰레기의 處理方案에 관한 硏究

        To preserve nature and human circumstances and to maintain and improve public sanitation, a course about the waste treatment must by accompanied with investigation and systemization about efficient and synthetic management through whole manufacturing process : occurrence of waste, custody, collection, relay -treatment and final treatment. In addition, the reorganization to economic structure that enables to reuse resources has the need to be investigated. As for the treatment plan of living waste, first, we need to reduce the quantity and attempt to reuse through separate collection, sanitarian treatment following reclamation and incineration being required. To overcome the NIMBY, it is required the many-sided effort that we should recover confidence to residents and vitalize the their participation at the time of the decisive process of opinion. Also, the mechanization of collection-transportation equipments of waste and management-betterment should be accompanied with establishment and operation of flooding-unflooding disposal facilities of reclaimed land.

      • 市廳舍의 建築計劃에 관한 硏究

        A city hall is an administrative organ for taking care of a city's economy, society, and culture. It is a municipal organization with civil democracy and the tradition of the city-state as its foundation. This study is a case study for planning of a city hall so as to enable it to achieve its public functions and roles. For this purpose, sixteen city halls were investigated and analyzed, in particular the Chunju city hall, all of them having been built within the past twenty years. The area of the city halls averages 29,516㎡, and its size influences building size. The building-to-land ratio averages 15.93%, and the gross area averages 16,239㎡, On the other hand, the standard of the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs is 6,650㎡. The volume ratio averages 50.15%, and the number of floors are five stories above and one under the ground. There are three types of disposition:six city halls are of the concentration type(simple building), five are the link type(semi-simple building), and five are the independent type(separate building).

      • 납골당 납골실의 현황 및 계획방법에 관한 연구

        The purpose of this study is to propose a planning direction of cremated human remains deposit room in charnel houses. The study method is as follows : first, to investigate the cases of cremated human remains deposit rooms in 15 charnel houses constructed since second, to propose the planning direction of spatial composition based on the analysis results. The conclusions are as follows first, cremated human remains deposit room is proposed to be planned with respect of offering the mourning left better architectural environment, avoiding its congestion resulted from accepting too many enshirinements, second, it is proposed to be planned considering lightness and ventil first, third, it is proposed that the arrangement of windows and lights be determined beforehand to be consistent with the arrangement of columbariums in the planning step charnel houses.

      • 철도건축물의 피난계획에 관한 연구

        Railway buildings focus on publicity and functionality. As railway stations function as a center of transportation of its community. its importance is further emphasized. This study aims to plan escape routes of railway stations to promote safety and convenience of passengers who use trains for transportation or freights. In respect to designs of railway buildings, this study first speculates platforms which are used by passengers the most frequently, escape routes at waiting rooms and escape route systems according to different types of railway buildings and situations. So, it is to provide basic data to decide requirements in escape route design of railway buildings.

      • 철도건축물의 피난동선계획에 관한 연구

        The importance of the railway station is focused in this study, since it plays role of the traffic center in the region. This study is aimed to plan the escape flow in the railway station in order to maintain the safety and promote conveniency for passengers and loadings. The investigation of the escape flow is conducted for the most highly used platform and waiting room. Then, this study provides information in designing the railway station in terms of the case situation and types of railway building. Finally, this study gives useful information for determining the requirements for planning the escape flow in the railway buildings.
