통계 자료 분석용 소프트웨어들은 통계 분석 결과를 얻기 위한 수치계산의 어려움과 지루함을 해소하기 위하여 개발되기 때문에, 기초통계 교육에 적절히 활용하긴 어렵다. 본 연구에서 개발한 소프트웨어는 통계학의 기본 개념들을 배우는 과정에 중점을 두어, 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 이용한 시각화된 시스템이다. 교육용 소프트웨어 개발에 이용 가능한 개발 도구들이 비교, 논의된다. 개발된 주사위 게임과 카드 게임은 교육자와 피교육자간의 상호대화 방식으로 이용될 수 있다. A multimedia software for introductory education is developed based on computer simulation. Developing tools for educational software are discussed. A developed software can be used interactively in teaching of statistical basic concepts.

모바일시대의 기초통계학 교육용 디지털 신경시스템: SmartNote

전통적인 강의실의 기초통계학 수업에서 많은 학생들이 수업에 집중하지 못하고 있다. 수업 시간에 졸거나, 잡담하거나, 휴대폰을 만지작거리면서 다른 생각에 잠겨 있다. 인터넷이 가능한 컴퓨터실에서의 강의와 실습은 인터넷이 제공하는 콘텐츠와 부단히 경쟁을 해야 한다. 이러한 문제를 조금이나마 해결해 보려고 시도한 방안이 교수와 학생을 하나의 유무선 네트워크로 묶는 교육용 디지털 신경시스템 하에서 기초통계학을 가르치고 학생들이 공부하게 하자는 것이다. Many students in introductory statistics courses do not engage in learning under traditional classroom settings. A statistics instructor is often irritated by student behaviors such as sleeping, talking out of place, and acting bored or apathetic during lectures. The lecture and exercises in the computer laboratory should constantly compete with materials via the Internet to draw the attention of the student. To address problems in statistics education, we propose a digital nervous system in which a teacher and students can communicate with each other.

문화 요소의 유사도와 네트워크 분석을 통한 문화적 특징의 정량적 분석

The content of culture is naturally included in words and writings that express and record stories about human life as a social animal. This study quantitatively analyzed the cultural characteristics of the large corpus. 58 verbs expressing culture were defined according to 11 categories, and the nouns that appeared together in one sentence with these verbs were extracted as cultural elements. The similarity between cultural element lists was measured using average overlap and rank-biased overlap, and the centrality of cultural elements was reviewed by creating a cultural element network. As a result of analyzing the Korean corpus, emotion, life&death, and living categories had similar cultural elements to other categories, and eating, clothing, and economy categories had unique cultural elements that were differentiated from other categories. The centrality of vocabulary related to family was high, and it was possible to confirm family-oriented cultural characteristics. 사회적 동물인 인간의 삶에 관한 이야기를 표현하고 기록하는 말과 글에는 자연스럽게 문화의 내용이 포함된다. 본 연구는 대용량 말뭉치에 나타난 문화적인 특징을 정량적으로 분석하였다. 문화를 표현하는 동사를 11개 범주에 따라 58개를 정의하고 이 동사와 한 문장에서 함께 등장한 명사를 문화 요소로 추출하였다. 평균 오버랩과 순위 편향 오버랩(rank-biased overlap)을 사용하여 문화 요소 리스트 간의 유사도를 측정하였고, 문화 요소 네트워크를 생성하여 문화 요소의 중심성을 검토하였다. 한국어 말뭉치에서 분석한 결과, 감정, 생사, 생활 범주는 타 범주와 유사한 문화 요소를 가지고 있었고, 식, 의, 경제 범주는 타 범주와는 구분되는 특유의 문화 요소를 가지고 있었다. 가족과 관련된 어휘들의 중심성이 높아 가족 중심의 문화적인 특징을 확인할 수 있었다.

강제적인 대학 강의평가의 문제점

Some researchers insist that many students respond to the course evaluation surveys without sincerity and even without reading the questions. To analyze the pattern of student responses, the results of course evaluations for five semesters at Jeonbuk National University are reviewed. In mandatory course evaluations, 20% of the students marked the same option numbers to all questions regarding their lectures. In addition, consistent responses were over 50%. These results show that the university administration should reform the current course evaluation system in all respects. 우리나라 대부분의 대학들이 강의평가를 하는 첫째 목적은 수업개선이고, 둘째 목적은 교수업적평가의 기초 자료로 활용하기 위한 것이다. 많은 대학들이 참여율을 높이기 위해서 온라인을 이용한 강제적인 강의평가를 실시하고 있다. 그 결과 90% 이상인 높은 참여율은 얻었으나, 강의평가결과 중 51.4%는 10개 문항에 대하여 모두 같은 번호로 무성의하게 응답하는 결과를 초래하게 되었다. 이런 무성의한 자료를 제거하거나 보정하지도 않은 채, 모든 문항의 점수를 합한 절대 점수를 가지고 강좌를 서열화하고, 교수업적을 평가하고, 시간강사 재임용 여부 등에 기초 자료로 활용하고있다. 강의평가 자료를 통계분석하기 전에 학생들이 얼마나 성실하게 응답한 자료인지 먼저 확인해 보아야 한다. 대학 행정 당국은 양질의 강의평가 자료를 얻기 위하여 강제적인 현행 강의평가를 즉시 중지하고 전면적인 강의평가 제도 개선 방안을 강구해야 할 것이다.

小豆의 交酸集團에 따른 世代別 遺傳子 分布狀態 및 組合能力의 檢定

The two sets of diallel crosses (5×5 and 9×9 crosses) from nine adzukibean varieties (Yeongdong Jeogdu, Gongju Baegdu, Gyeonggi Gaeguri, Wase Dairuyu No. 1, Natsu Adzuki, Maruba No. 1, Jeogdu, Nesumi Mochi and Hongcheon Jeogdu) were grown in the field for estimating genetic parameters, such as gene action and combining ability in two different generations, F_1 and F_2. From a series of experiments conducted in 1976 to 1977, 1981 to 1982, and two agronomic characters, i.e., days to flowering and 100-grain weight were observed. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1, In finks and Hayman's (Vr-Wr) graphic analyses, days to flowering and 100-grain weight of F_1's and F_2's from 5×5 and 9×9 crosses were found to be inherited in partial dominance. 2. Mean squares of GCA and SCA were significantly different among two characters in all generations of different crosses, and those of GCA were higher than SCA. 3. The highest GCA effects for days to flowering were expressed Jeogdu in 5×5 cross, Hongcheon Jeogdu in 9×9 cross, ana Jeogdu for 100-grain weight showed relatively high effects in two generations of 5×5 and 9×9 crosses. 4. SCA effects were different among Parents and characters in the different crosses, but the higher SCA effects were exhibited in the hybrid between Yeongdong Jeogdu and Nesumi Mochi in two generations of 5×5 cross.

학교 징계 행위의 적법 절차 연구

In modern law-governed countries like ours, the cream of the crop of law is to be found in the rectitude or fairness of its enforcement. The fairness in the course of law application directs itself to procedural fairness, which has been institutionalized in the form of provisions of lawful procedures. Granting that the procedural fairness of law application is guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic of Korea, it is not be denied that law has been recognized as more of means of suppression and restriction than as an autonomous safeguard of human right. The basic principle of a democratic society hinges upon the respect for human dignity and the protection of human rights oriented towards the realization of social justice: all of which are expected to be secured through the procedural fairness of law. Thus this study has examined how lawful procedures can be secured at schools being backed up by the organizational framework of educational policy. The thesis has concentrated on the protective measures of students’rights in that students are bound to be on the defensive in terms of school discipline. The author has penned his way through the literature on the subject, the Inter-net data, and the analysis of judicial precedents most of which have been obtained from American judicial cases, for lack of relevant cases in the Republic of Korea. It behooves us to make the students recognize the importance of the protection of their own human rights and others’as well, when it comes to safeguarding judicial rights on the part of those students subject to school discipline and to institutionalizing opportunities for their self-justification. Provisions of lawful procedures has generally been more directed to adults than to students. Positive applications of lawful procedures in school disciplinary acts are expected to make further steps towards the democratization of school administration, the protection of human rights on the part of the students, and the nourishment of their democratic citizenship.
