In this paper, an efficient Kerberos authentication mechanism associated and verification way that provide service. In order to implement this protocol, authentication between regions is accomplished by the connected chain obtained from X.509 and Directory Services. X.509 authentication mechanism, a part of X.500 describing directory services, defines the framework of directory services for authentication process based on asymmetric cryptography and digital signature. Client requests the service to remote KDC as an original Kerberos authentication does. However, in our protocol local KDC provides client with information on authentication of client and remote TGS, instead of authentication of client and remote KDC. In this paper, concludes with the design of mechanism efficiently using Kerberos model mechanism to be applied in protocol exchanges, prevent dictionary attack about present secret key using public key cryptography, user s authentication by digital signature, Session key s recoverable support and correct packet transfer, X.509 certificate s path construction.

In this paper, A fiber optic temperature measuring system using phosphorescences of the phosphors. This method is based on the temperature dependence of decay time of phosphorescences, so that this system is not sensitive to electrical and magnetic noises. This system can measure temperature up to 40 points and also transmit measured data using optical multiplexer.

Craniosynostosis is a congenital anomaly in which cranial sutures close prematurely and restrict skull growth. In this paper, the case of two siblings, a male and a female, who were both diagnosed as craniosynostosis is reported. They underwent corrective osteotomy for cranial vault remodeling. A 22-month-old female infant who was brought to the department of plastic and reconstructive surgery of the authors' hospital was diagnosed with plagiocephaly. At the same time, her 7-month-old brother was diagnosed with brachycephaly. In the case of the female infant, corrective coronal osteotomy and supraorbital bar advancement were performed. Her brother underwent frontal advancement osteotomy using Tessier's tongue in the groove procedure. After the correction of the craniosynostosis, the two patients recovered in several days later, and the results were good in both cases cosmetically and functionally. They showed normal head circumference increasing curves and no symptom of functional disorder in their last follow-up. Isolated or nonsyndromic craniosynostosis is sporadic but mostly autosomal dominant. This paper presents a case of craniosynostosis with a genetic tendency; and although it occurred between siblings, the affected lesions differed. Thus, appropriate diagnosis and management in patients are needed.

Soamsan is known as an anti-cancer remedy in the traditional Korean Medicine. To enhance the synergic effects of anti-cancer activity of Soamsan, this study reconstituted the original components of Soamsan with a slight modification and produced a novel herbal remedy, namely Gamisoamsan. Extracts of Gamisoamsan inhibited the growth of cultured CT-26 cells, mouse colon adenocarcinoma, in a dose-dependent manner $(1\;to\;50{\mu}g/ml)$, and $ID_{50}$ was estimated approximately $16.7{\mu}g/ml$. Using tumor-bearing mouse model, in which was produced by subcutaneous injection of CT-26 cells ($1{\times}10^5$cells). the effects of Gamisoamsan on tumor growth and host survival were examined by evaluating tumor volume and increase in life span. When Gamisoamsan extracts in variable doses of 100, 200 and 500mg/kg body weight per day were orally administered to tumor-bearing mice, following results were obtained: Improvement in the hematological parameters following Gamisoamsan treatment such as hemoglobin contents, red blood cells and white blood cells of the tumor-bearing mice have been observed. Gamisoamsan treatment also showed a prolongation of life span and a reduction of tumor volume in the CT-26 tumor hosts. The results of the present study suggest that Gamisoamsan extracts has a potential anti-tumor activity and may be an useful remedy to prevent and/or treat cancer.
