화재로 발생하는 산업시설의 인명ㆍ재산 피해를 줄이고 기존 소방 설비의 단점을 보완하는 소방 로봇을 제안한다. 소방 로봇은 무인 시스템으로 설계되었으며 6개의 핵심 기능인화재 감지, 화재 진압, 현장 이동, 화재 알림, 소방서 신고, 현장 모니터링으로 구성된다. 로봇의 구성은 구동부, 제어부, 소화부로 이루어져 있으며, 각 구성 중 일부를 선정하고 테스트 통하여 화재 진압에 유효함을 증명하였다.

This paper is an attempt to suggest some constructive guidelines on revising the 7th national curriculum of primary English. For this, a reflection on primary ELT in Korea was made by 278 primary school teachers across Korea who have been involved in teaching primary English. On the basis of the primary teachers' reflections on the eight years' implementation of primary ELT, some points that need redressing in the current primary ELT are discussed, and accordingly some suggestions or recommendations for the future direction of the primary ELT in Korea are made. It is suggested that 1) the objectives be more specifically targeted, giving more emphasis on language achievement for years 5 & 6, and 2) the contents be reorganized by making the year 3 course a readdress program consisting mainly of basic English words and some key prefabricated expressions, and by giving more emphasis on written English in years 5 & 6.

Existing Smoothed particle hydrodynamics(SPH) structural analysis model has two problems: tensile instability resulting in particle clumping and the use of non-physical artificial stress. In this study, to solve the above two issues, the structural analysis is implemented with total Lagrangian based corotated SPH, and the Hertz-Mindlin contact model is applied as the interface condition for collision of multi-body. For numerical validation of structural analysis model, dynamic behavior simulation of cantilever beam is performed. Transient analysis of deflection at the cantilever beam tip is conducted, and maximum deflection and frequency are calculated and compared with finite element method(FEM) results and analytical solution. For numerical validation of collision model, transient analysis for reaction force between two elastic rings is performed. The stress distribution and deformation shape at specific time steps are compared with the FEM results.

In this paper, the researcher attempts to suggest a working model of the achievement test system of elementary English, which teachers can hopefully use or adjust autonomously for their own assessment purposes. For this, a thorough analysis of the achievement standards specified in the national curriculum was made by the current researcher and a group of 4 highly experienced primary English teachers. Furthermore, a purposeful integration of the key objectives of achievement standards of the national curriculum and the core characteristics of language communication and practical constraints involved in the current elementary English teaching settings was made. As a result, 6 assessment targets were deduced from the integration, which included interest & confidence, understanding of meaning, delivery of meaning, accuracy of word & grammar use, fluency in understanding and delivery, and task completion. Taking relevant theoretical discussions into account, both a task-specific achievement standard-based assessment scheme and a descriptive assessment scheme were developed for testing of listening, speaking, reading and writing of elementary English. The hope is that teachers can make the best use of the suggested assessment scheme, adjusting it in a variety of ways as they need.

The main purpose of this paper is to investigate the causes for low achievements of low achievers in primary English learning, and to provide some suggestions that can help in alleviating the low achiever problem at schools. For this purpose, 78 experienced primary school teachers specializing in primary English education at the postgraduate level were given a delphi-type questionnaire that required writing up their responses, and asked to give their frank opinions about the low achievers they experienced at their schools. Their stated responses were carefully analyzed and categorized and discussed, to reveal the true picture of the low achiever problem, and to offer some helpful suggestions to mitigate the graveness of the low achiever problem in primary English education.

The purpose of this paper is to suggest a constructive reform measure for the absolute scoring system of the Korean scholastic ability test, which the Ministry of Education announced would be implemented from the 2018 school year. A close look at the MOEproposed score report system of the KSAT revealed that the proposed score report system is far from a genuine criterion-referenced system. In this paper, it is strongly argued that the national curriculum should include the overall English proficiency standards to make the KSAT and school education more effective and more educational. Thus, a suggestion is made on how to create the overall English proficiency standards for Korean students.
영어 말하기 능력 평가척도 비교 연구: ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines를 중심으로

As the testing of English speaking ability is becoming necessary and important in Korea today, the speaking rating scales are also drawing attention from people concerned. The rating scales are a point of reference in assessing test takers’ speaking performance. Raters are required to refer only to the pre-published rating scales in order to reduce the subjectivity in rating. In this paper it is attempted to compare seven of widely-used English speaking rating scales with each other and align the proficiency level that each scale is representing. As the base of the comparison, the ACTFL proficiency guidelines-speaking is going to be used, and 6 other scales are going to aligned with the ACTFL proficiency guidelines-speaking. The comparative places of each rating scale are presented in this paper.
