열가소성 탄성체 스티렌-이소프렌-스티렌 블록 공중합체의 응력이완 거동을 Rheometrics mechanical spectrometer를 이용하여 조사하였다. 선형 점탄성 구간에서의 응력이완은 steady shear flow 중지후의 이완과는 뚜렷이 달랐으며 이 차이를 ABA형 블록공중합체의 morphology와 관련하여 검토하였다. The stress relaxation behavior of an elastomeric styrene-isoprene-styrene block copolymer was studied in simple shear using a Rhemetrics mechanical spectrometer. The data exhibit two distinct stress relaxations, a stress relaxation after sudden strain in a linear viscoelastic zone and a stress relaxation after cessation of steady shear flow. Results are discussed in terms of two phase morpholgy of ABA block copolymers.

First record of two species of parthenopid crabs (Crustacea: Decapoda: Parthenopidae) from Korean waters

Two species of parthenopid crabs, Enoplolambrus laciniatus (De Haan, 1839) and Pseudolambrus lobatus (Flipse, 1930), are recorded for the first time from Korean waters. Enoplolambrus laciniatus is similar to E. validus as the only known Korean species of the genus Enoplolambrus, however, it is characterized by having carinated ambulatory legs without teeth on the outer margins of carpi. Pseudolambrus lobatus is the first recorded species of the genus Pseudolambrus from Korean waters, characterized by having a rounded front, short chelipeds, and a carapace with produced angles posterolaterally. The morphologies of these two species are described and illustrated with color photographs herein.

사회적 약자를 배려한 공공공간 안전디자인 통합 평가지표 연구

(연구배경 및 목적) 최근 국내 지방자치단체와 정부부처를 중심으로 구도심의 안전한 생활환경 구축을 위한 셉테드가 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 이와 함께 기존의 미적이고 기능성 위주의 디자인에서 사회적 약자를 포함한 다양한 사용자의 안전을 고려하여 공간 구축이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 공공공간의 안전환경 개선에 있어 사회적 약자에 대한 배려를 기반으로 다양한 공공디자인 영역의 통합적인 평가가 가능한 셉테드 평가지표 수립을 통해 지속가능한 구도심 공간환경 개선에 기여하는 것을 목적으로 한다. (연구방법) 첫째, 기존연구 및 문헌조사를 통해 셉테드 수립과 관련된 동향과 관점, 평가방향 등에 대한 내용을 정리한다. 둘째, 2010년부터 2020년까지 국내외에서 진행된 안전과 공공공간 셉테드 및 유니버설디자인 등 관련 분야 연구 동향 파악을 통해 통합된 관점의 공공공간의 셉테드 계획과 연구의 내용특성을 파악하고 시사점을 정리한다. 셋째, 이상의 결과를 정리하여 사회적 약자를 배려한 공공공간 안전환경디자인 통합 평가지표를 정리한다. 넷째, 평자지표에 대한 관계 전문가 델파이 조사를 통하 평자지표의 객관성을 파악하고 최종 평가지표를 정리하고 향후 개선방향을 도출한다. (결과) 최근 셉테드는 기존의 단순 감시 시설물 확충과 시각적인 안내 위주의 계획에서 도시 구조특성을 고려한 시스템적인 접근 방식으로 변화하고 있는 동향이 파악되었다. 이러한 움직임은 셉테드에 있어서 보다 다각적인 공간과 시설물의 특성, 구성원들의 동선과 공동체의 결속, 개방성 확보를 통한 영역성 구축 등의 종합적인 디자인이 고려되어야 한다. 그리고 셉테드에 있어서 기존 일반 사용자 중심의 시설물 및 공간계획에서 여성과 장애인, 고령자와 어린이 등 사회적 약자의 안전성 확보를 통해 안전성과 쾌적성이 고려된 면밀한 공공공간 디자인의 중요성이 확인되었다. (결론) 이상의 연구성과는 향후 안전성과 경관성, 쾌적성 등을 종합적으로 고려한 공공공간의 안전성을 정량적으로 파악하기 위한 기준작성에 중요한 시사점을 줄 것이다. 그럼에도 본 연구의 객관성을 높이기 위해서는 실제 공간을 대상으로 한 실증연구가 필수적으로 진행될 필요가 있다. 또한 사용자를 대상으로 한 공간개선 전후의 사용자 평가가 진행되어야 할 필요가 있으며, 이는 공간 특성에 맞는 셉테드 향상에 기여할 것이다.

First report of Pagurus erythrogrammus (Crustacea: Decapoda: Anomura) from Korea

A pagurid crab, Pagurus erythrogrammus is described and illustrated for the first time from Korean waters. It was collected by SCUBA diving in Seogwipo (Jejudo Island) on 30 May 2013. Its morphology is similar to those of known Korean species of the family Paguridae: Boninpagurus pilosipes, Pagurus nigrivittatus, and Pagurus quinquelineatus. This species, however, it is distinguished by having a developed rostrum, seven rows of spines on dorsal surface of the right palm in male, a row of spines on the medial surface of the dactylus of the third pereopod, 12 long ventral spines of dactylus of the third pereopod, six small spines on the concaved distal margin of telson, and three reddish brown lines on lateral surfaces of propodi of the second and third pereopods.

First Zoeas of Nursia rhomboidalis and Pyrhila carinata (Crustacea: Decapoda: Leucosiidae) with a Key to the Known Zoeas of Ten Leucosiid Species from Korean Waters

The first zoeas of Nursia rhomboidalis and Pyrhila carinata were obtained from laboratory condition. They are described and illustrated for the first time. Morphological comparison with those of other Korean described species of the family Leucosiidae reveals that the zoea of N. rhomboidalis is very similar to those of Myra fugax and Arcania undecimspinosa based on characteristics of the carapace spines length, the antenna morphology, the maxilla endopod setation, and the telson, whereas, the zoea of Py. carinata coincides well with those of Philyra kanekoi and Pyrhila pisum based on characteristics of the carapace spines length, the antenna morphology, the maxilla endopod setation, and the telson. Furthermore, we find that at least two groups of zoeas exist in the Korean species of the subfamily Ebaliinae. A provisional key to the known zoeas of ten leucosiid species from Korean waters is provided.

관절경을 이용한 슬관절 박리성 골연골염의 치료

We analyzed 12 cases of osteochondritis dissecans of the knee which were treated with arthroscopic surgery. The reaults obtained were as follows: 1. Lateral discoid meniscus were associated with osteochondritis dissecans which developed in the lateral femoral condyle in 4 of 12 cases. 2. Whether lateral discoid meniscus is one of the predisposing factors of osteochondritis dissecans is the matter for conjecture. 3. Arthroscopy is the very useful procedure for the treatment of osteochondritis dissecans.

For the purpose of evaluating the effect of both direct retainer design and bony absorption degree around abutment of indirect retainer on the supporting tissue of abutment of indirect retainer, dislodging force was transmitted to unilateral distal extension RPD bases. Analysis of stress distributed within the supporting tissue around abutment of indirect retainer was carried out. Using three-dimensional photoelastic stress analysis method and the conclusion is a follows. 1. According to the extent of force which the direct retainer of the most distal abutment tooth, the amount of force transmitted to the abutment tooth of indirect retainer was small. 2. Of all the cases, Mandibular first premolar which was used abutment tooth of indirect retainer, buccal, mesial and distal sides represented compression stress and lingual side represented tensile stress. 3. The more bone resorption of abutment tooth of indirect retainer, the more distortion of buccal and distal side of abutment tooth was existed and the extent of compression stress which was existed and distal side to abutment tooth was large. 4. When the alveolar bone around the abutment with indircet retainer is normal. The amount of force transmitted on abutment with indirect retainer was small in the order of Akers clasp, RPA clasp, RPI clasp. 5. When the alveolar bone around the abutment with indirect retainer has been absorbed 20% and 30%, the amount of force transmitted on abutment with indirect retainer was small in the order of RPA calsp, RPI clasp, Akers clasp. 6. When denture is displaced, shape of the direct retainer reciprocating abutment affect much the function of indirect retainer.

Establishment of a loop-mediated isothermal amplification system for on-site diagnosis of Oryctes rhinoceros nudivirus in Allomyrina dichotoma (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae)

The Korean insect industry is rapidly developing, with the Korean horn beetle Allomyrina dichotoma as one of the most popular insects kept as pets. Korean horn beetles reared in local farms are suffering fromOryctes rhinoceros nudivirus (OrNV). In a nationwide investigation on the early death of young larvae due to this virus, 70 to 77% mortality was found. It was also confirmed that several larvae collected from some wild horn beetle habitats were infected with the virus. Thus, it was concluded that the virus could be transmitted vertically from an infected adult to the offspring and that the OrNV disease is a very serious threat to the wild horn beetle in Korea. With local farmers expecting that an early detection technique would be helpful for the quick removal of infected larvae, an on-site diagnosis method for the viral disease using loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP) assay was thus tested. To avoid the DNA extraction process, the LAMP assay used a 50-fold diluted hemolymph was set for diagnosis standardization and convenient on-site application to infected larvae from local farms. A. dichotoma larvae were assayed for the OrNV infectivity with LAMP primers targeting the OrNV_gp102 gene. To evaluate the LAMP specificity, two bacterial pathogens, Bacillus thuringiensis and Serratia marcescens, causing disease in A. dichotoma were tested along with OrNV. The positive results were detected only from the OrNV-infected larvae.

First record of Odontozona arbur (Decapoda: Stenopodidae: Odontozona) from Korea

Shrimp of the family Stenopodidae occurr in tropical, subtropical and warm temperate parts of the world. Thirty-seven species of four genera (Juxtastenopus, Odontozona, Richardina, and Stenopus) of the family Stenopodidae have been reported in the world. Among them, only Stenopus hispidus of the family Stenopodidae has been recorded from Korean waters. The stenopodid shrimp, Odontozona arbur is reported for the first time from Korea. During a taxonomic survey of the deacapod crustaceans in Korean waters, O. arbur was collected by scuba diving in approximately 14 m depth from the Munseom Islet, in Jejudo Island on 28 Jun 2018. Odontozona arbur is the second species of the family Stenopodidae in Korea. It is easily distinguished from other species of this family in Korea by the entire dorsal surface of the abdominal somites. The morphology of this species is described and illustrated herein.
