      • Gordon의 음악학습이론에 근거한 노래 지도가 유아의 음악적성에 미치는 효과

        This study investigated effect of singing program through Gordon's musical learning theory on young children's musical aptitude. Subjects of this study were five-year old 70 children attending S kindergarten in Seoul city(35 for experimental group and 35 for control group). As research tool for measuring young children's musical aptitude(sense of tune and rhythm), PMMA developed by Gordon in 1979 and adapted and revised by Lee Helen(2004) was used. Results of analysis are as follows. Young children's musical aptitude ability in experimental group was statistically and significantly higher than one of control group. The experimental group obtained higher scores in sub-factors(sense of tune) of young children's music aptitude ability than control group. 본 연구의 목적은 Gordon의 음악학습이론을 근거로 유아들에게 음악을 가르치기 위해 가장 많이 제시되고 있는 활동 노래 부르기를 지도할 때 유아의 음감, 리듬감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검정하데 있다. 본 연구를 실시하기 위해 S시에 소재한 S유치원에 재원중인 만 5세 유아 70명으로 실험집단 35명, 통제집단 35명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 유아의 음악적성을 측정하기 위하여 Gordon이 1979년 개발한 PMMA(The Primary Measures of Music Audiation)이 이헬렌(2004)이 번안한 것을 사용하였다. Gordon의 음악학습이론에 근거한 노래 지도 실험처지를 한 후 그 효과를 비교ㆍ분석한 사후검사 결과 유아들의 음감영역부분에 효과가 있음이 밝혀졌다. 그러나 리듬감 부분에서는 실험집단이 통제집단에 비해 평균이 높게 나타났을 뿐 통계적으로는 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 이러한 결과는 교육현장에서 유아의 리듬감을 증진시킬 수 있는 수업을 좀 더 모색할 필요성을 시사해 줌을 알 수 있는 결과이다.

      • 유아의 몰입행동특성에 대한 연구

        This study aims to investigate an understanding of the finding flow in young children's free-choice activities, focusing on the context in which the children are immersed activities positively. Flow is defined as "the state in which people are so involved in an activity that nothing else seems to matter", a loss of self-consciousness and a distorted sense of time(Csikszentmihalyi, 1990). The state which the children involved concentration on a activity appears to be a kind of flow because activity itself is considered as children's life, as well their happiness. In activity-oriented early childhood education, an investigation of the context in which the children are engaged and vice versa enables us to access to understand the children's real happiness from the children perspectives. Whereas the happiness obtained from non-flow activity depends highly on external environmental factors, one obtained from flow activity has its real value and it pushes them to a step towards improved quality of children's life. The research conducted a total of 24 participatory observation sessions with its 5 year-old participants at their respective kindergartens located in Bucheon, Korea from April 1, 2008 to Jun 30, 2008. The data collected from participatory observation. The data was categorized and analyzed with reference to Strauss and Corbin's(1998) Grounded Theory. The research produced the following descriptions and interpretations. The research produced the following descriptions and interpretation. The results revealed four dimensions of the categorizing of flow. first, the children were involved in their activities when their intrinsic motivation was high. They percived the realistic goal of their activites. Second, the children's flow was achieved by their free-choice activites. The children's satisfaction from their flow helped them provide a formation of positive self-efficacy. Third, the children experienced intellectual disequilibrium during the state of flow and such context enabled the children to develop their cognitive knowledge through activity. Fourth, the state of flow provided the children energy which enabled them to solve the problem creatively 본 연구의 목적은 자유선택활동시간을 중심으로 유아의 자발적 놀이선택에 따른 유아의 몰입행동특성이 어떻게 나타나는지 그 행동특성을 범주화해보는 것이다. 이를 위해 몰입의 행동특성과 관련된 문헌(Csikszentmihalyi, 1990;Gross, 1991;박근수, 유태용, 2007;정혜영, 조연순, 정광순, 박주연, 2004)을 고찰하고, 부천시 S어린이집에 재원중인 만5세 유아 18명을 대상으로 선정하여 참여관찰, 유아와 교사와의 면담을 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 4월 1일부터 6월 30일까지 약 2달 동안의 관찰을 통해 얻은 자료를 분석하였다. 자료를 분석한 결과 다음과 같이 유아의 놀이 몰입행동을 범주화하였다. 유아의 놀이에 몰입하는 행동특성은 첫째, 과제에 대한 전적인 집중 둘째, 도전과 기술의 균형, 셋째, 명확한 목표설정, 넷째, 자기 목적적인 경험, 다섯째, 또래와 상호작용을 통한 몰입행동이 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 교사로 하여금 놀이에 몰입하는 유아들의 특성을 이해 할 수 있도록 도우며, 유아의 몰입행동이 유아의 발달에 어떠한 영향을 미칠 수 있는지 추후 연구에도 기초자료로 활용될 수 있으리라 본다.

      • 신문을 활용한 수업이 고등학생들의 과학과 관련한 태도에 미치는 영향

        This study is to investigate the effects of NIE on science-related attitudes of 2nd grade high school students learning Earth Science I as a selective subjects in a rural district, Jeollanam-do province. The teaching material for NIE on the change of weather is collected and organized using the KINDS program of the Korea Press Institute. The total 28items of the TOSRA questionnaire are used twice, before and after NIE class, to testify the science-related attitudes change. The average score of the scientific inquiry, normality of science, leisure interest in science in the before class test. Through NIE class, the adoption of scientific attitudes, enjoyment of science lessons, leisure in science show the significant change in the attitude test score. Especially, the enjoyment of science lessons and adoption of scientific attitudes are improved in its order in the after-class test.

        어머니의 자아존중감 및 거부적 양육태도가 유아의 유치원 적응에 미치는 영향

        This study examined the effects of mother’s self-esteem and rejective parenting style on kindergarten adjustment. Subjects consisted of 255 4 to 5-year-old children and their mothers sampled from 4 kindergarten in Seoul City. To analyze the collected data, pearson’s correlation analysis, and stepwise regression analysis were used. The results of the research were as follows: Firstly, there was a positive correlation between the self-esteem of the mother and kindergarten adjustment of the children. Hostile and aggressive parenting style were negative correlated with the kindergarten adjustment of the children. Secondly, the variables effecting the kindergarten adjustment of children were predictive variables of mother’s self-esteem and mother’s hostile and aggressive parenting style. The findings suggest the need to develop a parent education program that can reduce a mother’s hostile and aggressive parenting behavior. 본 연구는 어머니의 자아존중감, 거부적양육태도와 유아의 유치원 적응과의 관계를 분석하고, 유아의 유치원 적응에 영향을 미치는 변인이 무엇인지를 밝히고자 하였다. 연구대상은 서울시에 소재한 4개의 사립유치원에 재원하고 있는 만 4세와 5세 유아 255명이다. 자료수집은 어머니의 자아존중감, 거부적양육태도, 유아의 유치원 적응의 검사도구를 이용하였으며 수집된 자료는 Pearson 적률상관계수와 단계적 중다회귀분석을 통하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과에 따르면 첫째, 어머니의 자아존중감과 유아의 유치원 적응 간에는 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났으며 어머니의 거부적 양육태도의 하위변인 중 적대적이고 공격적인 양육태도가 유아의 유치원 적응에 부적인 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 유아의 유치원 적응에 영향을 미치는 변인은 어머니의 자아존중감과 어머니의 적대적이고 공격적인 양육태도가 유의한 영향을 미치는 예측 변인인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과를 통해 어머니의 심리적 변인인 자아존중감을 향상시킬 수 있는 프로그램개발과 적대적이고 공격적인 양육태도를 감소시킬 수 있는 부모교육 지원 방안이 필요함을 시사한다.

        어머니의 거부적 양육태도가 유아의 기관적응에 미치는 효과: 유아 인성의 매개효과를 중심으로

        Objective: The gold of this study is to identify the correlation between mothers’ rejective parenting attitude and children’s humanity and adaptation to educational institutions, as well as to find out whether children’s humanity could act as a mediating effect against mothers’ rejective parenting attitude in the process of children’s adapting to the institutions. Methods: The study was conducted on 259 children aged 4 to 5 and their mothers. The collected data were used to conduct Pearson correlation coefficient, Three-step mediated regression analysis, and the Sobel test using the SPSS 20.0 program. Results: First, children’s institutional adaptability had a significant negative correlation only with ‘mother’s hostility’. Children’s humanity had a significant positive correlation with their institutional adaptability. Second, mothers’ hostile attitude had a direct or indirect impact on children’s institutional adaptability. Conclusion/Implications: The results above suggest that children’s good hu- manity and parents’ friendly attitude are important in children’s institutional adaptability.

        아버지의 거부적 양육태도와 유아 인성 간의 관계에서 아버지 공동체 의식의 매개효과

        This study is aimed to determine the relation among fathers’ rejective parenting style, fathers’ community spirit, and their children’s humanity. We also examined whether fathers’ community spirit mediates the association between fathers’ rejective parenting style and children’s humanity. The study used data from 207 4-to 5-year-old children and their fathers from a kindergarten located in Seoul, South Korea. We estimated Cronbach's α and Pearson’s correlation coefficient, and employed a two-way ANOVA and a multiple regression analysis. In addition, a Sobel test was conducted to examine the mediation effect. The results are as follows. First, There were no significant differences in fathers’ rejective parenting style, fathers’ community spirit, and their children’s humanity by children’s sex and age. Second, children’s humanity was negatively related to fathers’ rejective parenting style and positively related to fathers’ community spirit. That is, children’s humanity can be improved further by lowering fathers’ rejective parenting style and increasing fathers’community spirit. Third, our results showed that fathers’ community spirit mediated the association between fathers’ rejective parenting style and their children’s humanity.

      • 1ㆍ2ㆍ3세 영ㆍ유아의 부정적 정서표현에 대한 교사의 반응에 관한 연구

        This study is intended to know whether the teachers deal carefully with infants and young children"s negative expression of emotion as analyzing the reasons why the children"s negative emotions appear, and the types in which the emotions are expressed, and the way that the teachers react to them. For this, we observed sixty children who are one, two, and three years old and six teachers in children"s house in Seoul, during the free play, by the event sampling. On the result of this, it is revealed that there is a similar difference between the cause of the negative emotion and the type of the expression of the emotion according to their ages, but that there is no difference in the patterns of the teachers" response to the emotions in accordance with their students" age. The result of this study will contribute as basic data for the teacher"s desirable guidance when infants and little children express their negative emotion. On the other hand, it raises a question that the teachers deal satisfactorily with infants and little children"s negative expression of emotion.

        유아를 위한 기독교 그림책 번역본에 관한 연구 「노아의 방주」를 중심으로

        본 연구의 목적은 ‘노아의 방주’ 이야기의 성서내용은 무엇이며, ‘노아의 방주’ 번역본 그림책은 성서내용에 얼마나 충실하고 있는지, 어떠한 번역전략이 있는지를 살펴보는 데 있다. 분석대상은 ‘노아의 방주’기독교 그림책 총 6권으로 원본 3권, 번역본 3권이다. 분석결과, 첫째, ‘노아의 방주’ 이야기의 성서 의미는 크게 인류의 죄악과 노아, 홍수와 재창조 , 무지개와 하나님의 언약 3가지로 나눌 수 있었다. 둘째, 성서내용을 충실하게 담고 있는 책은 3개의 그림책 중 ‘노아의 방주를 탄 동물들’(김장성 옮김,1998) 그림책이었다. 셋째, 번역전략으로 내용요소에서는 텍스트에 대한 변형(생략, 첨가, 변형)이 나타났으며, 기술적 요소에서는 의성어, 의태어 등을 사용하여 장면을 쉽게 떠올릴 수 있도록 하였다. 또한 ST문장 길이와 구조가 TT에서는 짧아지고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 교회학교 교사들이나 일반 유아 교사들이 기독교그림책을 선정 할 때의 기초자료로 제공될 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to see if Noah's Ark Bible picture books might have the authentic Biblical tales in essence and theological meaning and to examine how translational actions were used in Korean versions of the Noah's Ark picture books. Also, this study analyzed a total of six picture books, including three Korean versions of the Noah's Ark picture books and three original English picture books and examined translational actions, applying skopos theory. The result of this study is like as followings. Firstly, theological meaning of Noah's Ark picture books showed three categories such as mankind's crime and Noah, floods and recreation, and rainbow and God's promise. Secondly, the book of Biblical tales's religious fidelity is ‘Two by Two' by Barbara Reid. The book by Barbara Reid was complemented by biblical contents which didn't express in the pictures, matching with writings and pictures. The translational actions indicated transformations of text (e.g., omission, addition, transformation) in contents. Skillful features revealed onomatopoeic and mimetic words which associated scenes easily and gave joyful feeling. Finally, in order to improve readability, explicitness should be applied in translating children's literature. Explicitness takes place when the information implied in ST(Source Text) needs to be made explicit in TT(Target Text). This study concludes that, an in-depth multidisciplinary approach, framed within a Christian world view, is needed to deal with the issues raised by Bible picture books. The result might applied to teachers at church school and preschool educational organizations' teachers as a category of literature in choosing good bible picture books and offer translators of bible picture books for preschool children materials for foundation.
