수직 이동 자동사 연구(7)-(동반 이동〉을 중심으로

이 연구는 현대 국어에 있어서 수직이동 자동사의 개개의 낱말 들이 하나의 낱말밭(Wortfeld)Ⅱ 속에서 차지하고 있는 위치 가치(Stellenwert)를 우리 언어 공동체(Sprachgemeinschaft)의 세계관과 관련하여 해명해 보려고 시도된 것이다. 국어의 낱말들은 개별적으로 존재하는 것이 아니라, 어떤 질서속에 다른 낱말들과 밀접하게 서로 어울려 상호협력·의존하는 관계를 유지하고 있는 것이다.(Wallace, L, Chafe, 1973 : 82) 즉, 일련의 어휘는 아무렇게나 모여진 것이 아니라 의미상 어떤 관련성을 가지고 일종의 연상군(聯想群)을 형성하고 있다.(金應模, 1989: 1) 이 연구에서는 수직 이동 자동사 중에서〈동반이동〉을 의미 요소로 가지는 낱말들을 중심으로 사전에서(이희승, 1986) 발견되는 자료를 수집하였다. 그리고, 논의의 편의를 위하여 어휘적 포착의 방향성 가운데 관용적인 용법에 해당하는 낱말과 방언 및 고어는 제외하였으며, 우리 언어 공동체의 언어 생활과 관련이 깊다고 생각되는 서구외래어는 연구의 대상에 포함시켰다.(김응모, 1987 : 710) 이동 동사는 크게 평행 이동(전진이동, 후진이동, 전후진, 이동)과 수직 이동(상승이동, 하강이동, 상하 이동)으로 분류하여 고찰할 수 있는데, 여기서는 수직 이동 가운데〈동반이동〉의 의미요소를 가진 77개의 낱말들을 대상으로 하여, 개개의 낱말들이 다른 낱말과 변별되는 특정을 규명하는데 주안점을 두었다. 동반이동(同伴移動)을 의미 성분으로 가지는 자동사는 이동할 때 동시에 이동하는 하나 이상의 이동체를 전제로 한다. 이러한 경우의 이동체는 방향에 따라 상승 이동과 하강 이동 및 상하 이동이 있으며, 이동의 상호 위치에 따라 선행 이동, 후행 이동, 동행 이동이 있다. 그리고, 둘 이상의 이동체로 집단 이동이 있게 마련이다. 따라서, 분절 특성은〈동시 동반 수직 이동성〉을 공유하고 있으며, 내용에 따라〈선행성, 후행성, 동행성, 집단 이동성〉을 가지고 분절한다. 논의의 방법으로는 상승 이동, 하강 이동, 상하 이동의 순으로 하였으며, 먼저 원렉셈(Archilexem)을 중심으로 하여, 대영역(Gro-ssfeld)의 공통 특성을 논의한 후, 여기에서 분절되어 나온 부분 영역(Teilfeld)의 공통 특성을 논의하고, 개별 낱말의 고유 특성을 부가하는 형식을 취함으로써 논의의 중복을 줄였다. 우리는 이동 동사의 분절성을 해명함으로써 이동에 대한 객관세계가 우리 민족의 정신적 중간 세계(die geistige Zwischenwelt)에서 어떻게 분절되어 있는가를 조명하는 것이 가능할 것이며, 이동 동사의 어휘 체계 수립이 가능해질 것이다.

언쟁 · 논쟁 자동사의 내용 연구

이 연구는 낱말밭(Wortfeld)이론에 근거하여 현대 국어 중 언쟁 ·논쟁 자동사가 지니고 있는 개개의 낱말(word)들이 하나의 낱말밭 속에서 차지하고 있는 위치가치(Stellenwert)를 우리 언어공동체의 세계관(Weltansicht)과 관련하여 고찰해 보려고 시도된 것이다. 여기 에서는 개별 낱말들이 다른 낱말과 변별되는 특성을 해명하는 데 주안점을 두었다. 연구의 방법은 이희승(1985)「국어대사전」에서 어휘를 발췌하고, 신 기철·신용철(1982)「우리말큰사전」과 김광해(1993)「유의어·반의어 사전」에서 어휘를 점검 보충하였다. 이 연구는 글이나 말로써 자기의 의견을 주장하고 상대의 잘못을 논박하는 언쟁 · 논쟁에 관련된 내용이므로 의사 표현의 큰 밭의 일부 에 해당하며, 또 ‘싸움’의 내용에 포함된다. 논의의 방법은 어휘의 내용(Inhalt)에 따라 원어휘소(Archilexem)를 중심으로하여 부분밭(Teilfeld)으로 분류하고, 먼저 큰밭(Grossfeld)의 공통 특성을 논의한 후 여기에서 분절되어 나온 작은 영역의 공통 특성 을 부가하였다. 그리고, 개별 낱말의 변별적 특성(Unterscheidende züge) 을 추가하였다. 우리는 언쟁 · 논쟁 자동사의 분절성(Artilation, Gliederung)을 고 찰함으로써 언쟁 · 논쟁하는 자동사의 의미요소가 우리 민족의 정신 적 중간세계(die geistige Zwischenwelt)에서 어떻게 분절되어 있는 가를 밝히게 되며, 자동사의 어휘체계를 수립하는 데 기여하게 된다.
