An Analysis on Supporting Programs of Procuring Goods for Export in Korea

ABSTRACT An Analysis on Supporting Programs of Procuring Goods for Export in Korea Kim Jae Seung Park Se Hoon Choi Young Joo To promote the nation's exports, in Korea several government led programs are alive for procuring and manufacturing goods for export. The trade supporting programs are consisted of Trade Financing Program, Trade Tax Program, and Trade Insurance. The programs are summarized ;First, Trade Financing Program is available to exporters of procuring raw materials and finished goods for export. It is extended with exceptionally low interests from the Korean commercial banks. Second, Trade Tax Program provides whole or part of customs drawback to exporters. customs drawback is` made when exporters meet requirements of Customs for export. Third, Trade Insurance Program cover risks of uncertainty which is beyond the exporters' capacity at low insurance premium It is suggested that the exporters have deep knowledge of these three programs to their ends. Especially Trade Financing Program and Trade Insurance Program can be a combined work for the financially weak SMEs. Further, there are rooms for these programs to develop to enhance the competitiveness of SME exporters.

A large-signal time-domain model is implemented to analyze an FG-LD (Fiber Grating Laser Diode) in which a reflective laser diode is hybrid-integrated with a fiber Bragg grating (FBG). When the length of the externally integrated resonator is 8 mm, in which the effective FBG length of 2.1 mm is included, a static frequency chirp of 0.44 GHz and a dynamic frequency chirp of 6.4 GHz are observed. In addition, it is also observed that the eye of the 10Gbps NRZ signal is well open. The FG-LD is expected to be a cost-effective solution for a 10Gbps-class single wavelength laser covering a span of 50 km range.

정 전류원을 이용한 치수(齒髓) 검사기의 개발

Electric stimulation of teeth has been used for assessing pulp vitality. The principle is based upon the assumption that a subject feels the pain produced by electrical current stimulation of intradental nerve. Because of very high and wide range of impedance of the enamel, it is very difficult to determine stimulation levels regardless of teeth status. Most pulp testers adopt voltage stimulation method and thus, their stimulating threshold levels significantly depend on each individual. Therefore, a constant current stimulator is necessary to minimize the effect of wide variation due to different enamel thickness. And it is also necessary to test teeth vitality with a wide current range regardless of tooth impedance. In this study, we constructed a burst-wave type pulp tester to reduce the pain using a current stabilizing circuit with the maximum current of 150 uA. 전기를 이용한 치아의 자극은 치수의 생활력 평가의 한 방법이다. 전기 치수 검사의 기본원리는 치아 내의 치수에 전류 자극을 가하여 유발되는 통증 유무로 치수의 생활력을 평가한다. 그러나 치아의 에나멜질의 임피던스가 크고 개인에 따라 차이가 많기 때문에 치아의 상태에 영향을 받지 않으면서 자극을 제어하기가 불가능하다. 대부분의 치수검사기가 전압 자극 방법을 사용하고 있어 개인에 따라 자극 역치 값이 크게 변화한다. 그러므로 치아 에나멜질의 두께 차에 의해 발생하는 영향을 최소화하기 위해 정 전류 치수 검사기가 필요하다. 그리고 치아 임피던스에 관계없이 넓은 전류 범위를 갖는 치수 검사기가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 전류 안정 회로를 사용하여 최대 150 uA의 전류와 통증을 완화하는 버스트 파형을 발생시킬 수 있는 정 전류원 치수 검사기를 개발하고 그 성능을 확인하였다.

2000년대 이후 국내 데이터센터의 실(room) 프로그램과 공간구성에 관한 연구

The Internet search and data sharing to face the era of cyber physics system and the internet of things which is the fourth industrial revolution. Using the big data, we are able to interact with each other in a bidirectional way and have already experienced a lot such as unmanned automobiles, internet of things, 3D printing, artificial intelligence robots and so on. We have seen endless possibilities and an incredible amount of data is being transferred and stored on the electronic server in real time. Therefore, this study is crucial in terms of understanding the construction of the data center field which is a prerequisite for the fourth industrial revolution. Based on the empirical methodology such as in-site survey, interview with data center operators, or analysis on architectural plans, draw a foundation and point out problems about important conditions should be considered, after the 2000s, space configuration of each program and an actual case from the domestic data center and the process of design planning. Also, we would like to seek for the scheme of construction for the data center room program which fit into domestic circumstances with conducting investigation on characteristics and spatial composition of data center programs according to the development of IT and changing positioning conditions when we plan and analyze space of data center to be divided into three different parts according to the programs. Therefore the purpose of this study, first, define and classify the concept of data center and the usage, second, investigate and analyze references for construct and draw the domestic data center, and third, introduce recent domestic and international data center program construction.

Trade Exhibition for Small & Medium Enterprises by Using of Special Conditions in Foreign Marketing Insurance

Korea's trading volume is expected to surpass USD 1 trillion in 2011. Korean economy achieves this largely due to its dependence on export and enhanced technological capacity and product quality. Improved recognition of Korean enterprises in the global arena also helped. However, the largest reason behind theses could be found in exporters' ceaseless marketing endeavors and continued government supports. Today, more and more people become to rely on trade exhibitions to boost export effectively. Trade exhibitions are employed as a useful tool to attract buyers and enter a market. This is because such exhibitions' marketing effect and professional aspects. South Korean export relies on large conglomerates for most part. However, 95% of the country's entire industry are small and medium-sized companies. This means that SMEs' export has a huge impact on the national economy. Therefore, as a way to improve SME export and minimize their losses, we need to use trade exhibitions more actively. The overseas policy insures only promotional activities regarding foreign exhibition and fair (including international events held in Korea), foreign distributor, shopping mall, home shopping, etc. and does not include air fare, traffic cost in the local place, accommodation cost and dining expenditures as costs to be excluded mentioned above. It is not easy for them to take part in events abroad if they have to pay for such expenses. If full financial support is difficult, the Korea trade insurance corporation still may give a certain level of aid for successful exporters to engage in marketing activities abroad more actively and further stimulate SMEs' export.
