        연구논문 : 삶기에 의한 국수호박의 영양성분 함량 변화

        This study was carried out to analyze the change of major nutrient components of spaghetti squash by boiling. The moisture, crude protein, fat, ash and carbohydrate contents in fresh squash were 94.2%, 0.6%, 0.1%, 0.7% and 4.4% respectively as against 95.1%, 0.5%, 0.1%, 0.5% and 3.8% in boiled squash. The decrease in protein and ash contents of the boiled sample were found to be significant. Major component of the minerals were potassium and the fresh and boiled squash had the contents of 330 mg and 256 mg, respectively. There were no differences of dietary fiber between the fresh and boiled squash. Beta-carotene contents of the fresh and boiled spaghetti squash were 0.69 ㎍ and 2.22 ㎍, respectively. The contents of tocopherol were decreased as like 4.3 mg and 2.0 mg. A total of 17 kinds of amino acids were isolated from squash and they were decreased by boiling and the high content of amino acids in order were aspartic acid, glutamic acid, arginine, lysine, and leucine in raw squash. Particularly, total amino acid of fresh squash were 6,739.5 mg per 100 g edible portion and higher than that of boiled squash(4,820.3 mg). Total polyphenolic compound of the fresh squash from 297.3 ㎍/mg was slightly decreased to 253.3 ㎍/mg by boiling.

        여가,레크리에이션학 : 직장인의 스쿼시 참여와 신체적 자존감 및 직무만족의 관계

        The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among squash participation, body-esteem and job satisfaction in workers. The subjects of this study were 184 workers who participating squash in Seoul and Gyeonggi province. The instruments were 'Body-Esteem Scale for Adolescents and Adults' developed by Mendelson, White, Mendelson(1996) and standardized in Korean language by Moon(2003) for body-esteem and 'Job Diagnostic Survey' developed by Hackeman & Oldman(1976), Hackeman & Lawler(1971) and standardized in Korean language by Jo(1988) for job satisfaction. The SPSS 11.0 version for windows were used to perform Cronbach's α, descriptive statistics and standard multiple regression analysis. From the analysis of the data, the following conclusions of the study were obtained. First, participation degrees in squash influenced on the body-esteem partly. Second the job satisfaction was partly influenced by degrees of squash participation for worker. That means, when degrees of squash participants was high, the job satisfaction was high. Third, the job satisfaction was partly influenced by body-esteem for worker participating squash. That means, when body-esteem of squash participants was high, the job satisfaction was high.

        Food-dependent exercise-induced anaphylaxis (FDEIA) is a kind of exercise-induced anaphylaxis, which is characterized by anaphylactic symptoms only after eating certain foods. In Korean patients, wheat flour, apple, parsley, and crown daisy have been reported as causative foods. We report the case of an 18-year-old male with squash-dependent, exercise-induced anaphylaxis. The patient had urticaria, angioedema and chest discomfort during walking after taking roasted pork belly, green onion, lettuce, sesame leaf, mushroom and squash. He had also experienced the same event 4 months before this presentation. Skin prick test showed a strong positive reaction only to squash. Exercise provocation test turned out to be a negative result. However, exercise provocation test performed 30 minutes after ingestion of boiled squash resulted in hives with itching. Even though exercise provocation test performed just after ingestion of squash did not show any typical anaphylaxis reactions, this patient can be diagnosed with squash-dependent, exercise-induced anaphylaxis, based on his typical medical history and development of urticaria after the provocation test.         인문,사회과학편 : 여대 교양스쿼시 수업 수강생의 내적동기와 수업만족 및 생활만족의 관계

        본 연구는 여대에서 교양체육으로 스쿼시에 참여하는 학생들의 내적동기, 수업만족 그리고 생활만족의 관계를 규명하는 것이 목적이다. A여자 대학에서 교양스쿼시 수업에 참여하는 120명의 학생에게 내적동기, 수업만족, 생활만족에 관한 질문지를 배부하여 자기평가기입법으로 작성케 하였고 유효한 자료로 판명된 117부만을 자료처리에 이용하였다. 본 연구에서 사용된 세 가지의 척도는 모두 검증된 도구를 사용하였으며 윈도우용 SPSS 11.0을 이용하여 기술통계, 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 자료를 분석한 결과 첫째, 스쿼시에 참여하는 여대생의 내적동기는 부분적으로 수업만족에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났는데 재미-노력 요인이 심리적, 신체적, 환경적, 교육적, 사회적 만족에, 유능 요인이 심리적, 신체적 만족에, 긴장 요인이 심리적 만족에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 내적동기 중 재미-노력 요인이 생활만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 수업만족 중 심리적, 환경적, 교육적 만족이 생활만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationships among intrinsic motivation, class satisfaction and life satisfaction in women university students participating squash. The subjects of this study were 117 students who participating squash in A women university. The instruments used 'Intrinsic Morivation Inventory(IMI)' developed by McAuley, Duncan, & Tammen(1989), 'Leisure Satisfaction Scale(LSS)' developed by Ragheb & Beard(1980), 'The Satisfaction With Life Scale(SWLS)' developed by Diener, Emmonson, Larsen, & Criffin(1985). The SPSS 11.0 version for windows were used to perform Cronbach's α, descriptive statistics and standard multiple regression analysis. From the analysis of the data, the following conclusions of the study were obtained. First, intrinsic motivation of students participating squash class influenced on the class satisfaction partly. That means, fun-effort factor influenced on psychological, physical, environmental, educational, social satisfaction factors. Second, the life satisfaction was partly influenced by intrinsic motivation of squash participants. Third, the life satisfaction was partly influenced by class satisfaction for students participating squash class. That means, environmental, educational, psychological factor influenced on life satisfaction.

        Development of SNP Markers for Identification of Squash F1 Hybrid Cultivars Using Fluidigm-Based Genotyping

        Squash (Cucurbita moschata D.) is an economically important vegetable of the Cucurbitaceae family. The geneticpurity of commercial hybrid seed is crucial for the success of hybrid seed production. The molecular markers like single nucleotidepolymorphism (SNP) can efficiently and cost-effectively distinguish the genetic differences among F1 hybrid cultivars. Therefore, inthis study, we used ‘Fluidigm SNP Genotyping’ assay using 27 SNPs to distinguish and purity analysis of registered commercial F1hybrid cultivars and F1 breeding lines of squash. Of these, eight SNP markers, including CMo-A01, CMo-A02, CMo-A04, CMo-A05,CMo-A12, CMo-A16, CMo-A20 and CMo-A25 can successfully identified heterozygotes from the registered commercial F1 hybridsquash cultivars with 100% accuracy and partial contamination was detected for F1 hybrid squash breeding lines which resulted due tooutcrossing. Moreover, the HRM analysis of a registered commercial F1 hybrid cultivar ‘Parangsae’ with CMo-A03 SNP markershowed 96.30-100% purity of the cultivar. Our results suggest that the ‘Fluidigm SNP Genotyping’ technology could be a rapid andcost-effective method for cultivar differentiation and genetic purity analysis of F1 hybrids and squash cultivars.

        Effects of Different Application Rates of Organic Compound Fertilizer on Young Squash Growth and Soil Chemical Properties under Plastic Film House

        To determine the replacement ratio of organic compound (OC) for basal application of inorganic fertilizers,the effects of different rate of OC on young squash (Cucurbita moschata) plant growth and soil chemicalproperties of plastic film house were investigated. The OC were applied at 50% (OC50+N50), 100%(OC100), and 150% (OC150) as the basal amount of inorganic nitrogen fertilizer recommended by soilfertility test, and the treatment were compared with inorganic NPK and PK treatment. The yield of youngsquash in OC150 treatment was similar to NPK treatment and higher than PK. In OC50+N50, OC100, andOC150 treatments, nitrate concentration and electrical conductivity (EC) were similar to NPK treatment. Relative nitrogen use efficiency of young squash ranged 17~37%. These results suggest that OC applicationas the basal dressing at the 150% level could be best rate to minimize nutrient accumulation of soil and toensure the yield of young squash. Further study is required to evaluate effect of long-term application of OCon soil sustainability and young squash productivity

        Analysis of Symptom Determinant of Cucumber mosaic virus RNA3 via Pseudorecombinant Virus in Zucchini Squash

        Isolates of Cucumber mosaic virus (CMV) collected in Korea, were compared with their pathological features in tobacco and zucchini squash. Full-length cDNA clone of RNA3 was generated by using long-distance RT-PCR. Transcript RNA3 from the cDNA clone was inoculated onto host plants with transcripts RNA1 and RNA2 of Fny strain, generating RNA3-pseudorecombinant CMV. Timing and severity of systemic symptom was not significantly different among the pseudorecombinant CMVs in tobacco, compared with strains Fny-CMV and Pf-CMV. However, the pseudorecombinant CMVs induced two different systemic symptoms (mosaic vs. chlorotic spot) in zucchini squash. Based on symptom induction, the pseudorecombinant CMVs were categorized into two classes. The severity and timing of symptoms were correlated with viral RNA accumulations in systemic leaves of zucchini squash, suggesting that different kinetics of virus movement associated with CMV proteins are crucial for systemic infection and symptom development in zucchini squash. The analysis of movement proteins (MP) of CMV strains showed high sequence homology, but the differences of several amino acids were found in the C-terminal region between Class-I-CMV and Class-II-CMV. The analysis of coat proteins (CP) showed that the CMV isolates tested belonged to CMV subgroup I and the viruses shared overall 87-99% sequence identity in their genomes. Phylogenetic analysis of MP and CP suggested that biological properties of Korean CMV isolates have relationships associated with host species.

        Protoporphyrinogen Oxidase 저해형 제초제 Oxyfluorfen에 대한 호박 엽령별 내성기작

        Protoporphyrinogen oxidase(Protox) 저해형 제초제인 oxyfluorfen에 대한 내성차이는 동일 개체내의 호박 엽령에서 관찰되었다. 엽위별 oxyfluorfen에 내성기작을 구명하기 위해 잎의 피해정도, 세포내 구성물질의 누출, 포르피린 생합성 경로의 tetrapyrrole 중간물질 축적량 및 항산화효소 활성을 포함한 생리적 반응을 조사하였다. 중앙애호박의 1, 2 및 3엽에 대한 oxyfluorfen에 내성은 4엽에 비해 각각 >10,000, 1,286 및 1.6배 높았고, 신토좌의 1, 2 및 3엽에 대한 oxyfluorfen에 내성은 4엽에 비해 각각 725, 366, >0.6배 높았다. 그러나 oxyfluorfen과 작용기작이 다른 paraquat 처리에서는 oxyfluorfen 처리의 결과와 다르게 두 품종 모두 상위엽인 4엽이 하위엽인 1, 2 및 3엽에 비해 훨씬 피해가 적었다. Oxyfluorfen 처리에 따른 전해물질의 누출은 처리 후 광노출 기간이 경과할수록 상위엽(4엽)에서 하위엽(1, 2, 3엽) 보다 많았다. Oxyfluorfen 처리에 의한 tetrapyrrole 중간물질 protoporphyrin IX(Proto IX), Mg-Proto IX 및 Mg-Proto IX monomethyl ester의 축적량은 감수성인 4엽이 내성인 1엽에 비해 많았다. 따라서 oxyfluorfen 처리에 대한 호박 엽령별 반응 차이는 tetrapyrrole 중간물질의 과다한 축적에 의해 기인되는 것으로 생각된다. Tetrapyrrole 중간 물질 축적량의 결과와 다르게 항산화효소 superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase, ascorbate peroxidase 및 glutathione reductase 활성은 무처리 및 oxyfluorfen 처리 후 4엽이 1엽에 비해 높았다. 그러나 4엽에서 항산화효소 활성 유도는 Protox 저해제 oxyfluorfen의 독성효과를 극복하는데 충분하지 않아 결국 4엽은 고사하게 되는 것으로 생각된다. Differential tolerance to protoporphyrinogen oxidase (Protox)-inhibiting herbicides, oxyfluorfen was observed between leaf ages in squash. Physiological responses to oxyfluorfen, including leaf injury, cellular leakage, accumulation of tetrapyrroles, and antioxidative enzymes activity, were investigated in leaf age classes of squash to identify mechanisms of oxyfluorfen tolerance. Leaf 1, 2, and 3 injuries for Joongangaehobak were >10,000, 1,286, and 1.6-fold higher than that of leaf 4, after treatment of oxyfluorfen. On the other hand, leaf 1, 2, and 3 injuries for Sintowjahobak were 725, 366, and >0.6-fold higher than that of leaf 4, after treatment of oxyfluorfen. However, in contrast to oxyfluorfen treatment results, leaf injury of squash leaf 4 treated with paraquat was much smaller than in leaves 1, 2 and 3. Electrolyte leakage from the tissues treated with oxyfluorfen was higher in the youngest leaf (Leaf 4) than in the older leaves 1, 2, and 3. Differential leaf response to oxyfluorfen of squash appears to be due in large part to differences in protoporphyrin IX (Proto IX), Mg-Proto IX, and Mg-Proto IX monomethyl ester accumulation in treated leaves. In contrast, leaf 4 had higher activities of superoxide dismutase, catalase, peroxidase, ascorbate peroxidase, and glutathione reductase than leaf 1 after treatment with oxyfluorfen. However, the induction in antioxidant activity in leaf 4 was not enough to overcome the toxic effects of a Protox inhibitor, oxyfluorfen, so the leaf eventually died.

        신선편이 단호박 원료의 후숙기간 및 가공 후 포장방법에 따른 저장 중 품질변화

        This study was conducted in order to evaluate the effect of postharvest ripening periods and packaging methods on maintaining the quality of fresh-cut winter squash. Winter squash (var. Bouchang) was ripened at 22℃ for 1 or 2 weeks after harvest. The samples were washed in tap water, sanitized in 100 μL/L chlorine water, peeled, and cut into 16 parts. Samples were then vacuum packaged or non-vacuum packaged in 80 μm nylon/polyethylene (Ny/PE) films and stored at 5℃ for 21 days. Results indicated that different postharvest ripening periods affected gas concentration, firmness, off-odor development, color, and overall quality of fresh-cut winter squash. Samples treated with 2-week ripening periods maintained quality with higher redness value and soluble solid content (SSC) and lower CO2 concentration and off-odor development compared to samples treated with a 1-week ripening period. Non vacuum packaging was effective in increasing visual quality and reducing off-odor development. A combination treatment of 2-week ripening periods and non-vacuum packaging maintained good quality with the lowest off-odor development and the highest visual quality scores at the end of the storage period.

        3D 애니메이션작품에서 효율적인 스트레치와 스쿼시 적용 비교 분석에 관한 연구

        셀 애니메이션에서 캐릭터들의 움직임은 생동감이 느껴지는 예술이라고 생각을 한다. 자연스럽게 잘 표현된 움직임은 내용을 한층 더 재미있게도 극적으로도 장면을 충실하게 설명하기에 충분 하다고 본다. 그리고 아직은 역사가 얼마 되지 않았지만 3D애니메이션이라는 장르가 우리에게 가까이 다가오게 되면서 적지 않은 새로움과 문제점을 동시에 보여 주었다. 그 중 문제점의 하나인 캐릭터의 동작에서 나타난 어색함이다. 즉 과장된 동작의 표현이 어려웠던 것이다. 종전에는 3D애니메이션 제작 기술력을 기반으로 캐릭터에 ″스트레치& 스쿼시(Stretch & Squash)″ 의 동작 표현은 어려운 일이었으며, 그다지 효율적이지 못한 방법이었기에 표현을 하고자 하지 않았었다. 그런데 오늘날의 발달된 소프트웨어적인 기술력으로 바로 이러한 한계를 극복하고 새로운 형식의 캐릭터 무빙을 보여 줄 수 있게 되었다. 셀 애니메이션과 3D애니메이션에서 이러한 주제로 비교 분석하고자한다. The movement of characters in cell animation is the art that gives the feeling of movement. The movement expressed naturally and well done makes the scene more dramatic and interesting. The history of 3D animation IS not fully riped yet but it has shown powerful impact. The genre of 3D has come closer to us, yet it has given freshness and problems at the same time. One of the problems is the awkwardness of movement. Overplaying, stretching and squashing of Character, was extremely difficult to accomplish using the prior technique of 3D so! ftware. It was not very effective so animators have avoided doing it. However, advanced technique of 3D software, so to speak, ″stretch and squash″, overcomes the limitation of movement. The new form of character animation can be accomplished. The theme of this paper is about the analysis and comparison of ″stretch and squash″ in cell and 3D animation.
