        지속가능공급망관리, 블록체인기술채택, 환경성과의 관계에 관한 연구

        Sustainable management, which began as a solution to environmental problems, has now become an essential business strategy rather than an option. However, the current competitive environment is not a business-to-business competition, but a supply-chain-to-supply-chain competition environment. Therefore sustainable management must be changed to sustainable supply chain management. This study is about sustainable supply chain management. Several studies have proposed blockchain as a technology to usefully carry out sustainable supply chain management. In this study, blockchain technology was seen as mediating the relationship between sustainable supply chain management and environmental performance. To prove this hypothesized relationship, a survey was conducted targeting Korean domestic manufacturing companies. The results of analysis based on the collected data are as follows. Among sustainable supply chain management practices, sustainable procurement, sustainable distribution, and sustainable design were found to have a positive influence on blockchain technology adoption. The adoption of blockchain technology has been shown to have a positive impact on environmental performance.

        지속가능 공급망 활동이 경쟁우위를 통해 고객성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        글로벌 공급망이 확대되면서 공급망이 기업 경쟁력의 중요한 원천이 되었고, 지속가능 공급망 활동은 기업이 사회적, 환경적 책임을 다하면서 비즈니스 환경을 유지할 수 있는 훌륭한 대안이 되고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 공급망을 통해 타 공급망과 차별화를 꾀할 수 있는 지속가능 공급망 활동이 전략적 성과에 영향을 미치는 요인을 찾기 위해 지속가능 공급망의 경제적, 사회적, 환경적 활동이 경쟁우위를 통해 고객성과인 고객유지율과 고객만족에 미치는 영향관계를 살펴보고자 하였다. 기업에서 공급망관리, 물류관리, 구매사, 협력사를 관리하는 직원을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고, 최종 212부의 설문을 분석하여 연구가설을 검증하였다. 연구결과 지속가능 공급망의 경제적, 사회적, 환경적 활동은 경쟁우위에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 경쟁우위는 고객유지율과 고객만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 본 연구를 통하여 지속가능 공급망 활동이 경쟁우위에 영향을 미치는 이론적 토대를 마련하였고, 고객성과에 영향을 미치는 지속가능 공급망 활동과 경쟁우위는 분석을 통하여 기업의 경쟁력을 높이는 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 향후 연구에서는 지속가능 공급망 활동의 성과부분과 관련하여 다양한 변수의 연구가 필요하다. The supply chain expands globally and hence has become an important source of corporate competitiveness. In particular, sustainable supply chain activities are becoming excellent alternatives for businesses to maintain a business environment while fulfilling their social and environmental responsibilities. Therefore, this study attempted to examine the impact of a sustainable supply chain"s economic, social, and environmental activities on customer retention and customer satisfaction through competitive advantage. This study also aimed to find factors that can differentiate sustainable supply chains from other supply chains. A survey was conducted on employees who handle supply chain management, logistics management, purchasing companies, and partner companies in companies. As part of this survey, 212 questionnaires were analyzed to verify the research hypothesis. As a result of the study showed that the sustainable supply chain"s economic, social, and environmental activities positively affected the competitive advantage. The competitive advantage, in turn, had a positive effect on the customer retention rate and customer satisfaction. Hence, this study provides a theoretical basis for sustainable supply chain activities affecting the competitive advantage. This study also suggests implications for enhancing corporate competitiveness by analyzing sustainable supply chain activities and competitive advantages that affect customer performance. In future studies, various variables related to the performance of sustainable supply chain activities are to be considered.

      • A Study on the Impact of Knowledge Management on Supplier Orientation in Sustainable Supply chains

        Background/Objectives: Over the past few years, sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) has received significant attention and there is a growing expectation to extend sustainability efforts beyond internal operations to suppliers and customers in the supply chain. This paper examines the impact of supplier orientation in supply chain management by using knowledge management as a component of sustainable supply chain management. Methods/Statistical analysis: In this study, a survey was conducted, and analysis was performed using SPSS and PLS 2.0 as statistical tools. Findings: The research results showed that knowledge storage had a certain impact on supplier orientation in sustainable supply chains. Knowledge storage of the enterprises can be regarded as part of the information technology application. Improvements/Applications: There is a need to provide detailed statistics and analysis on the ownership, industry and scale of the enterprises among the research objects, thus providing more or different levels of understanding.

        지속가능 공급사슬 관리가 관계자본 및 공급사의 지속가능 성과에미치는 영향

        Firms have increasingly reexamined their supply chains in response to a number of interrelated economic, social, and environmental, collectively named as sustainability, challenges as they have faced a wide range of risks associated with their supply chains. With the emergence of sustainability as a legitimate business concern in supply chain management (SCM), researchers have explored the drivers and the effects sustainable SCM as well as characteristics of sustainable SCM. However, several important aspects have received little attention. First, very few studies have addressed fair, environmental, and social issues simultaneously in the supply chain. Previous studies have generally focused on the environmental dimension of sustainable SCM. Second, the literature has provided mixed results on the relationship between sustainable SCM and performance. This implies that identification of intervening variables may provide a better explanation of the direction of this relationship. Third, most previous studies have more focused on large buying firms’ performance, and thus little attention have paid to suppliers, in particular that of small and medium size (SME) suppliers. In the light of these gaps in the literature, this paper proposed an integrative model of sustainable ScM and empirically analyzed the relationship between sustainable SCM and supplier sustainability performance by considering an important intervening variable of relational social capital. First, this study developed an integrative framework for sustainable SCM by synthesizing fairness, green SCM, and responsible supply chain based on the integration of sustainability and SCM. Second, this study suggested a mediating role of relational social capital in the relationships between sustainable SCM and the environmental and manufacturing performance of the supplier. Third, this study provided empirical validation for the hypotheses suggested in the integrative model. Consistent with the purpose of this study, the study focused on medium-sized suppliers. A total of 197 responses from SME suppliers were used for the empirical analysis. The results of a series of rigorous tests provided support for the validity and reliability of the scales, including three sub-constructs of sustainable SCM: fair, environmental-friendly, and responsible SCM. Overall, the research results indicate that the hypotheses for the relationships between sustainable SCM, relational capital, and supplier environmental and manufacturing performance were supported. First, the results provided strong support for the argument that sustainable SCM can increase relational social capital between the buyer and supplier. As a reciprocal program between a buyer and its suppliers, sustainable SCM facilitates the relational capital accumulation. Second, the results empirically also verified a significant positive effect of sustainable SCM on the environmental and manufacturing performance through relational capital accumulation. In other words, relational capital was found to mediate the effects of sustainable SCM on the sustainability performance of the supplier. Third, fairness among three dimensions of sustainable SCM was shown to have the most significant influence on relational capital and performance. This study provides insightful implications for managers of buyers as well as suppliers who wish to foster stronger environmental performance as well as manufacturing performance. First, integrating fairness, environmental and social issues into conventional SCM practices is advisable, but firms, particularly large buyers, should make efforts to make it work. Second, sustainable SCM practices do not build on an entirely new set of skills, and the three dimensions of sustainable SCM are closely interrelated.         동적역량과 양면성역량이 지속가능 공급망활동의 성과창출과정에 미치는 영향

        본 연구는 지속가능 공급망활동에 영향을 미치는 요인 중 동적역량과 양면성역량의 역할에 대해 주목하고, 이들이 지속가능 공급망활동의 성과창출과정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 지속가능 공급망활동은 경제적·환경적·사회적 활동을 동시에 추구해야 하는 바, 이들 활동 간의 조정과 자원 배분 등의 의사결정이 중요하게 대두될 수밖에 없다. 따라서 지속가능 공급망활동에 영향을 미치는 여러 요인 중 조정 및 자원배분 동적역량과 양면성역량의 역할을 살펴보고, 구매사와 고객사 간의 성과창출과정을 중심으로 실증분석을 수행하였다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 기업에서 공급망을 관리하는 담당자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 유효한 296부의 설문을 분석하여 연구가설을 검증하였다. 실증분석 결과, 동적역량과 양면성역량 모두 경제적·환경적·사회적 지속가능 공급망활동에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것을 확인하였다. 한편, 지속가능 공급망활동 중 경제적·사회적 활동은 공급사 성과와 구매사 성과에는 정(+)의 영향을미치지만, 환경적 활동은 모두 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고, 지속가능 공급망 활동을 통한 공급사의 성과는 구매사 성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 지속가능 공급망활동을 구성하는 세가지 주요 활동 간 조정 및 자원배분 등의 중요성에 대한 이론적 근거를 제시함과 동시에, 동적역량과 양면성역량이 지속가능 공급망활동과 그 성과창출과정에서 중요한 선행요인이 될 수 있음을 실증적으로 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. This study focuses on the role of dynamic and ambivalent competence among factors affecting sustainable supply chain activity and its performance creation process. Sustainable supply chain management should pursue economic, environmental, and social activities simultaneously, and decision making such as coordination and resource allocation among these activities is inevitably important. Therefore, this study examines the role of dynamic and ambivalence capacities of adjustment and resource allocation among various factors affecting sustainable supply chain management, and conducts an empirical analysis focusing on the process of performance creation between purchasers and customers. Accordingly, a survey was conducted on those in charge of managing supply chain management in a company, and 296 valid questionnaires were analyzed to verify the research hypothesis. The analysis revealed that both dynamic and ambivalent competences have a positive effect on the economic, environmental, and social activities of sustainable supply chain management. Conversely, economic and social activities have a positive effect on both supplier and purchasing company performance, whereas environmental activities do not have any effect. Furthermore, the result of suppliers through sustainable supply chain activity was confirmed to have a positive effect on the performance of the purchaser. The findings are meaningful in that they present theoretical grounds for the importance of coordination and resource allocation among the three main aspects that constitute sustainable supply chain activities and empirically suggest that dynamic and ambivalent capabilities can serve as a significant preceding factor in creating results.

        Impact of carbon emissions in a sustainable supply chain management for a second generation biofuel

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Global warming due to excessive use of fossil fuels has driven researchers to focus on sustainable energy sources for the future. For clean production systems, biofuel is expanding the domain of renewable and sustainable energy supplies. An efficient and sustainable supply chain plays a pivotal role in ensuring this supply. In this research, crop residuals in different agricultural zones, transportation for shipment of residual biomass as well as biofuel, multiple biorefineries, and multiple market centers are considered. The expense of the resources, the yield of residual biomass in agricultural zones, and the demand of market centers are represented by fuzzy numbers as they are assumed to be uncertain. The carbon emissions cost at all stages of the supply chain was also incorporated into this model. This objective of this study is to develop a supply chain model that minimizes the total cost of a second generation biofuel supply chain and location-allocation for agricultural zones and biorefineries to meet the uncertain demand for market centers. Two numerical examples are analyzed, and the results proves that the cost of biofuel production in biorefineries contributed 52.16%, which is a major proportion of the total cost. In the entire supply chain, the transportation sector is the foremost source of carbon emissions in an environment with 88.50% of the total carbon emissions. The results confirms that the proposed model is viable for designing second generation biofuel supply chains under uncertainty.         대․중소기업 간의 관계적 거래 특성이 녹색 공급사슬 관리에 미치는 영향

        Recently, green supply chain management has emerged as an important research topic, receiving increasing interest in the sustain ability management and inter-firm relationship area. But previous studies have paid little attention to the effects of partnership between (large) manufacturers and small & medium suppliers on green supply chain management. The study aimed to examine the effects of profit and information sharing between manufacturers and small & medium suppliers on manufacturers’ green supply chain management. The sample populations used in this study were 68 major Korean manufactures. The findings showed that profit sharing between manufacturers and small & medium suppliers was positively related to manufacturers’ green supply chain management. The findings further demonstrated that manufacturers’ internal readiness of green management was positively related to manufacturers’ green supply chain management. However, the study showed low positive effect of information sharing on manufacturers’ green supply chain management. The study discusses the underlying reasons for these findings and derive implications for the theory and practice. The study not only enriches relational exchange theory but also provides new insights into supply chain management for companies and policy making authorities. 최근 녹색 공급사슬 관리에 대한 관심이 증가함에도 불구하고 대․중소기업 간의 관계적 거래 특성, 녹색 경영 내부화 등이 녹색 공급사슬 관리에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 드물었다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구적인 갭(gap)을 메우기 위하여 대기업과 협력사(중소 협력사) 간의 관계적 거래 특성이 대기업의 녹색 공급사슬 관리 강도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 우리나라를 대표하는 기업 68개를 대상으로 하여 실증 조사를 한 결과, 협력이익의 공유는 녹색 공급사슬 관리 강도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 본 연구 결과, 대기업의 녹색경영 내부화 정도가 클수록 녹색 공급사슬 관리 강도 또한 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 대기업이 협력이익의 공유를 통하여 협력사의 신뢰를 많이 쌓을수록, 녹색경영을 위한 내부 시스템을 잘 갖추고 있을수록 녹색 공급사슬 관리를 강도 높게 추진한다는 것을 시사한다. 본 연구는 기업 간의 관계에 대한 이론과 지속가능 경영 이론의 연구적 지평을 넓혔다는 의의를 지니며, 녹색경영을 통하여 경쟁력을 높이려는 협력 네트워크, 그리고 지속가능한 발전이나 대․중소기업 간의 협력을 담당하고 있는 정부 당국자, 환경보호에 관심을 가지고 있는 비정부단체(NGO) 등에게 좋은 지침을 제공할 것이다.

        공급사슬 내에서 품질지향적 기업문화가 지속가능경영성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구

        Purpose - Environmental issues, climatic changes, and greenhousegases are problems to be solved at a global level. Withan increased emphasis on the environmental and social responsibilityof the management of companies, the manner in whichcompanies approach quality-oriented culture and their individualsustainability management are being discussed as truly importantissues to help them secure their competitiveness andgrowth strategies. This study proposes strategic directions tohelp manufacturers not only in expanding their competitive quality-oriented company culture but also in strengthening their sustainabilitymanagement abilities. This study conducts a literaturereview and empirical research to examine how significantly thevariables of a quality-oriented company culture, customer-centeredmanagement, and process-centered and supply chainmanagement-centered cooperation affect sustainability managementperformance in relation to economic profitability, environmentalintegrity, and social responsibility. Research design, data, and methodology - To verify researchmodels and hypotheses, the study examined 170 companies usinga questionnaire survey conducted over six weeks, and involvedthe performance of data analysis on 146 samples. Questionnaire responses were calibrated based on a Likertscale. The study used the Smart PLS 2.0 program designed forPLS (partial least squares), an analysis instrument of SEM(structural equation modeling). The study then verified empiricalresearch hypotheses working on reliability analysis, validity analysis,factorial analysis, and path analysis.Results - Among the nine hypotheses, four are accepted andthe rest are rejected. A quality-oriented company culture focusingon customer-centered management significantly influencedthe maintainability management performance of environmental integrityand social responsibility, while economic profitability wasdismissed. A process-focused quality-oriented company culturewas significantly concerned with economic profitability but notwith environmental integrity or social responsibility. A supply-chain cooperative company culture had a significant effect oneconomic profitability but not on environmental integrity or socialresponsibility. Conclusion - This study proposes strategic directions to helpmanufacturers expand their competitive quality-oriented companyculture as well as strengthen abilities with sustainabilitymanagement. It conducts a literature review and empirical researchto examine how significantly the variables of quality-orientedcompany culture, customer-centered management, andprocess-centered and supply chain management-centered cooperationaffect sustainability management performance in relationto economic profitability, environmental integrity, and socialresponsibility. There are two main conclusions. First, companiesshould consider the need for social responsibility managementand environmental transparent management-focused maintainabilitymanagement as avenues to create new markets andbusiness, thereby helping the companies secure a reputation forhaving a customer and process-centered quality-oriented companyculture by creating shared values between supply chainsand enabling win-win situations through cooperation. Second, weare marching towards a creative win-win era from a society ofconflicts and ruptures. Companies should understand that socialresponsibility management and supply chain management(SCM)-focused cooperation are the foundations of sustainabledevelopment, as they try to improve their culture while pursuingboth win-win relationships with interested parties and equity invarious conflictive relations.

        조직 내·외부이해관계자의 사회적 책임 지향성이 지속가능한 공급사슬 관리에 미치는 영향

        네트워크를 구축한 대기업에게 있어서 지속가능한 공급사슬 관리(SSCM)는 기업 전체의 사회적 성과뿐만 아니라 기업의 장기적인 경쟁 지위를 결정하는 요인이 되었다. 이러한 실무 세계의 변화에도 불구하고 어떤 요인이 대기업의 SSCM 체계 구축을 촉진하고, SSCM이 대기업에 어떠한 가치를 부가하는 지에 대한 체계적인 실증 연구가 거의 없었다. 본 연구는 이러한 선행 연구의 갭(gap)을 메우기 위하여 첫째, 조직 외부의 이해관계자로서 고객의 사회적 책임 압력과 조직 내부의 이해관계자로서 구매관리자의 사회적 책임 의식이 각각 SSCM 변수인 공급사슬 투명성과 상생협력에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 둘째, 공급사슬 투명성과 상생협력이 각각 결과변수인 기업 명성에 미치는 영향을 분석했다. 우리나라를 대표하는 대기업 69개를 대상으로 하여 실증 분석한 결과, 고객의 사회적 책임 압력과 구매관리자의 사회적 책임 의식은 공급사슬 투명성에 정(正)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 상생협력에는 구매관리자의 사회적 책임 의식만이 정(正)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 공급사슬 투명성과 상생협력은 모두 기업 명성에 정(正)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. SSCM의 영향 요인과 성과를 새로운 관점에서 분석한 본 연구는 조직 간의 거래, 특히 공급사슬 관련 이론을 심화·확장시켰다는 의의를 지닌다. Interest in sustainable management based on the stakeholder perspective is expanding not only within an organization but also across the supply chain. For large companies that have established networks, sustainability management of the supply chain is now a factor that not only determines the social performance of the company as a whole, but also determines its long-term competitive position. Despite these changes in the business world, especially the proliferation of the sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) system, systematic research on SSCM has been lacking. In particular, there was a lack of empirical analysis on which factors promoted the establishment of the SSCM system for large companies and what’s the effects of SSCM. In this regard, this study analyzes ⅰ) the impact of the social responsibility pressure of customers as external stakeholders and the CSR orientation of purchasing managers as internal stakeholders on supply chain transparency and partnership cooperation respectively, and ⅱ) whether supply chain transparency and partnership cooperation can enhance corporate reputation. The samples used in this study were 69 large companies representing Korea. The results showed that the social responsibility pressure of customers and the purchasing manager's CSR orientation were positively related to the transparency of the supply chain. However, for partnership cooperation, only the purchasing manager's CSR orientation was found to have a positive and significant effect. Meanwhile, both supply chain transparency and partnership cooperation were positively related to the corporate reputation. At the end of the study, discussions on the implications of the results and future research directions will be presented.

        지속가능 경영에 대한 많은 관심에도 불구하고, 지속가능 경영을 기업 간 네트워크에 적용하여 기업 간의 관계 특성이 네트워크 참여기업의 지속가능 경영 행위에 미치는 영향을 분석하는 연구는 거의 없었다. 이런 점을 감안하여, 본 연구는 공급 네트워크에서 대기업과 중소기업(협력사) 간의 ‘가치공유’가 협력사의 ‘지속가능 경영’에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 우리나라 대표적인 공급 네트워크(동반성장 지수평가 대상 대기업 네트워크)에 속한 협력사 217개를 대상으로 하여 설문조사, 포커스 집단(focus group) 면담 조사 등의 실증 조사를 한 결과, 가치공유는 지속가능 경영에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 본 연구 결과, 협력사 최고경영자의 관여가 클수록 가치공유가 지속가능 경영에 미치는 긍정적인 영향은 커지는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에, 소비자의 압력이 약할수록 가치공유와 지속가능 경영 간의 관계가 강해지는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 본 연구 결과, 지속가능 경영은 기업의 혁신을 촉진시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 협력 네트워크에서 가치공유는 협력사의 지속가능 경영 활동을 추동하는 중요한 요인이며, 협력사의 지속가능 경영 활동은 최고경영자가 적극적으로 관여할 때 더욱 활발해진다는 것을 시사한다. 또한, 지속가능 경영은 협력사의 창의적 활동을 자극하는 중요한 요인이라는 것을 시사한다. 지속가능 경영을 공급 네트워크에 적용하여 지속가능 경영을 추동하는 요인을 기업 외적인 것과 내적인 것으로 구분하여 분석한 본 연구는 ‘지속가능 경영’ 관점이 하나의 이론으로서 발돋움하는 데에 큰 도움을 줄 것이며, 네트워크를 형성하여 경쟁을 하고 있는 기업들과 대․중소기업 간의 협력과 기업의 사회적 책임을 담당하고 있는 관료들에게 좋은 지침을 제공할 것이다. Recently, sustainable supply chain management has emerged as an important topic, receiving increasing interest in the sustainable development and sup-ply-network area. But previous studies have paid little attention to the relation-ship between value sharing among supply-network participants and their sustain-ability management activities. In particular, few existing studies examine the facilitators of sustainable supply-network management in any detail, especially as applicable to the context of partnership relations between large manufacturers and their small and medium suppliers. The study aimed to examine the effects of value sharing between large manufacturers and small and medium suppliers on suppliers’ sustainability management and subsequent innovation-perform-ance under weak versus strong CEO’s involvement and customers’ pressure. The populations used in this study were 133 major Korean supply networks. A survey was mailed to the supplier-executives who were responsible for the relationship with manufacturers, and 217 observations were collected. The findings showed that value sharing between large manufacturers and small and medium suppliers was positively related to suppliers’ sustainability management activities. The findings further demonstrated that supplier-CEO involvement moderated the relationship between value-sharing and sustain-ability management activities such that it strengthened the relationship. However, the study showed low moderating effect of customers’ pressure on the relationship between value-sharing and supplier’s sustainability manage-ment activities. The study discusses the reasons for these findings and derives implications for theory, practice, and future time research. The study, the first examination of the independent and interaction effects of value-sharing activities on sustainability management in the context of supply-networks, not only enriches inter-firm relationship research but also provides new insights into sustainability management for companies and government authorities.
