        박물관의 장소성 형성요인이 장소애착과 장소가치인식, 행위의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 정동지역 박물관을 중심으로

        The purposes of this research are to suggest formative factors of placeness in museum based on theoretical grounds and examine the process that those factors are connected to the results of the value perception and visitor’s behavior through the medium of place attachment. First of all, domestic and overseas cases and relative theories were considered. As the result, forms of establishing sense of place can be divided into two cases such as implement of placeness with memories and images of formative historic·cultural assets or changing, regeneration, of existing awareness on the space by giving new placeness intentionally. The subject of this research was museums in Jeong-dong with both of the two forms and research model was drawn by predictors of outcome such as formative factors of placeness, place attachment, the value perception and visitor’s behavioral intentions in consideration of the subject of this research. The results of empirical research which verified with structural equation model and multiple regression analysis are as follows. First, when formative factors of placeness in museums of Jeong-dong were divided into physical, active·behavioral and psychological factors in detailed hypothesis which examines the relations between formative factors of placeness and place attachment, physical factors such as location, convenience of transportation, attractiveness of appearance and comfort of internal environment made the most effects on placeness forming. Second, the placeness of museums in Jeong-dong was divided into place identity and place dependence so as to explain with place attachment. As the result, place attachment of museums in Jeong-dong can be explained with only factors related to place identity. Place identity is the attachment caused by emotional and symbolic reasons rather than functions of the place. It indicates, visitors of museums in Jeong-dong feel that the place they visit is deeply related to themselves and very special, furthermore, visiting of the place explains and feels who they are. Third, formative factors of placeness recognized by visitors visiting museums in Jeong-dong made an effect on the value perception whose medium was place attachment. The effects that formative factors of placeness made on the value perception directly without mediating effect of place attachment didn’t show significant value. Finally, in influencing relationship between the value perception of museum visitors and their behavioral intentions which are the final dependent variable of this research model, visiting satisfaction, recommendation intentions and revisiting opinion were increased as the value perception of visitors was higher. Particularly, revisiting intentions which were influenced by the value perceptionthe mostly, so the necessity to form place attachment of museums wasconfirmed once again. The results of hypothesis testing implied are as follows. First, process and degree of contributing to place attachment must beconsidered rather than establishment of detailed factors so as to connect formative factors of placeness to positive results such as revisiting, satisfactionand recommendation. Second, place attachment is made when they can interpret and experience byadding active·behavioral factors such as history, time, etc. to physical factors. In this sense, historic·cultural assets are very useful to form placeness ofmuseums. There are a few studies on placement in the field of domestic museums. So,research model drawn by this research will contribute to reliability and validityof relatively following researches. In the future, in-depth and objective studiesmust be conducted for museums which have various characteristics andqualitative studies which consider various variables are necessary. 본 연구에서는 박물관과 관람객을 도시발전의 수단, 혹은 서비스의 차원에서 측정하고 평가하는 기존의 정책과 마케팅 계획과 다르게 박물관이라는 장소와 관람객 사이에서 정서적으로 가치를 지각하고 장소성을 이끌어내는 기제를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이론적 근거에서는 박물관의 장소성 형성요인을 제시하고 이 요인들이 장소애착을 매개로 하여 가치지각과 관람행위의 결과로 이어지는 과정을 검증하였다. 우선 국내외 사례와 관련 이론을 고찰한 결과, 장소성 구축의 형태는 유형의 역사·문화 자산이 가지고 있는 기억과 이미지를 활용하여 장소성을 구현하거나, 의도적으로 장소성을 새롭게 부여하여 그 공간에 대한 기존의 인식을 전환, 즉 재생하는 두가지 경우로 분류할 수 있었다. 이 두 가지 형태가 동시에 발현되고 있는 정동지역의 박물관을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 첫째, 장소성 형성요인과 장소애착 간의 관계를 살펴보는 세부 가설에서 정동지역박물관의 장소성 형성요인을 물리적, 활동·행태적, 심리적 요소로 구분하였을 때장소성 형성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 위치와 대중교통의 편리성, 외관의 매력성, 내부 환경의 편안함과 같은 물리적 요소인 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정동지역 박물관의 장소성을 장소애착으로 설명하기 위하여 장소정체성과 장소의존성 요소로 구분한 결과 정동지역 박물관의 장소애착은 그 장소의 기능보다는 감정적, 상징적인이유로 애착을 갖게 되는 장소정체성과 관련된 요소만으로 설명이 가능하다는 것을확인하였다. 셋째, 정동지역 박물관에 방문한 관람객이 인지한 장소성 형성요인은 장소애착을 매개로 하여 지각된 가치에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 장소성 형성요인이 장소애착의 매개효과 없이 직접적으로 지각된 가치에 주는 영향은 유의한 값이 나오지 않았다. 마지막으로 박물관 관람객의 지각된 가치와 본 연구모형의 최종종속변인인 관람행위의도와의 영향관계에서는 관람객의 지각된 가치가 높을수록 방문만족도, 추천의도, 재방문의사가 증가함을 확인하였다. 박물관은 기능적이고 물리적인 필요 이상의 의미가 존재하는 장소이므로 그 가치를 평가할 때 장소성 관점에서의 고찰이 필요하며, 본 연구에서 도출한 장소성 형성구조가 후속 연구의 신뢰성 및 타당성 확보에 기여하기 바란다.

        문학지리학으로 본 유치환 시의 장소성과 의미

        The purpose of this paper is to study the inner world of Yu Chi-Hwan reflected by all his poetry focusing on placeness. Understanding the placeness and the meaning prominently contained in Yu Chi-Hwan’s poetry and establishing his unique inner world as well as its structure will be an important work for ascertaining his poem world. In order to achieve this purpose, place theory proposed by Edward Relph was quoted. The meanings described below was obtained by analyzing placeness of Yu Chi-Hwan’s poetry which is divided broadly into placeness of Tongyeong symbol and placeness of Manchuria. The first one is the placeness and the meaning of Tongyeong symbol. YuChi-Hwan often uses Tongyeong(hometown) as compact symbol of archetypal place. Once again, Tongyeong is symbolized by sea. The replaced place method that brings sea to mind from completely different places proves that the place identity for Tongyeong operates unconsciously in the inner side of the poet. The archetypal place which is accepted as real sense of place in the inner side of the poet works as criterion for judging self-identity according to whether he is placed inside sea or not.Also, Tongyeong connotes hometown as birth place and appears as symbol of place showing desire for return to ideal world. The placeness of Yu Chi-Hwan’s poetry is composed of binary oppositions as its basic structure and this is utilized as a poetic device to highlight the semantic content of ideal world. As being placed into deeper inside of sea, the method of using much bigger echo of inner self is taken, whereas the characteristic that poetical topics such as sadness, loneliness, futility and so on become weakeris apparent. The poet’s feeling enters more perfect inside, more excessive situation is shown. This is because the inner side of Yu Chi-Hwan tries to unify or equate it with place. The second one is the placeness and the meaning of Manchuria symbol. In Yu Chi-Hwan’s poetry Manchuria(place away from home) is typical place representing loss of place. Once again, Manchuria is symbolized by wilderness. The wilderness acts as a place cracking the life of stranger who cannot put down roots and causing anxiety. The poet likes to use a method substituting place image of wilderness with that of sea in order to reveal the meaning of wilderness. While sea is the place permeating unconsciously the inner side of Yu Chi-Hwan, wilderness shows the feature revealing its real intention through discrimination with Tongyeong. Also, Manchuria is the place where the lack of existence is felt keenly as the place of escape. The fact that wilderness commands escape shows that Yu Chi-Hwan recognizes Manchuria as a repressive place or a prison.It can be said that the surface meaning of escape involves dash for hometown,whereas the deep meaning is power making him oriented towards existence by feeling keenly the lack of existence.This study on the place has great significance and value in the view point of reinterpreting Yu Chi-Hwan’s poetry. It may be added that approaching Yu Chi-Hwan’s poetry with various methods through interdisciplinaryonvergence is necessary.

        지역 커뮤니티 빈집의 장소성에 대한 평가지표 항목구축에 관한 연구

        Recently, the vitality of local communities is being decreased due to numerous vacant houses generated by factors such as the hollowization of cities, exacerbation of the living environment, and the loss of placeness of houses. Hence, this research, for the revitalization of the local communities, aimed to establish the evaluation criteria for the vacant houses and detailed items of the criteria to arrange references and theoretical basis for the placeness evaluation of vacant houses. Through literature analysis, the research contemplated upon relevant concepts and characteristic,regeneration value of placeness and community, and the correlation between the revitalization of the vacant houses within the current status of local communities and placeness. First, the researchers derived the characteristics of placeness through 6 dimensions (morphological dimension, perceptional dimension, societal dimension, visual dimension, functional dimension and temporal dimension)analysis and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) from <City Design> by Matthew Carmona. Subsequently, the study organized the detailed items for the placeness evaluation criteria for vacant houses within local communities by analyzing precedent researches. Lastly, for the detailed items above, research was done by 15 experts through the Delphi method for 3 times, and after the items were derived, for scientific validation, an exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis has been carried out. This research, while excluding the subjectivity and the emotional parts of the placeness of the vacant houses within the local communities, through the Delphi method and the interaction with the expert group, as the evaluation criteria for the placeness of the local communities, 9 criteria: connectivity, identity, safety, aesthetic impression, diversity, accessibility, openness, convenience, publicness have been derived, and 33 detailed items have been derived. It is only possible to revitalize the communities, restore the placeness of the vacant houses, and provide clear statistical data on the placeness of the vacant houses within the local communities if the state’s items are referred as standards. 최근 도시의 공동화, 생활환경의 악화, 집의 장소성 상실 등의 이유로 도시에 빈집이 급증하면서 지역커뮤니티의 활력을 저하시키고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 지역 커뮤니티의 활성화를 위해 빈집의 장소성 평가지표와 세부항목을 구축하고, 빈집의 장소성 평가를 위한 참고기준과 이론적 근거를 마련하고자 하였다. 문헌분석을 통해 빈집, 장소성과 커뮤니티의 개념 및 특성, 지역 커뮤니티 빈집의 현황, 재생 가치와 장소성 간 상관관계 등에 대하여 고찰하였다. 우선 Matthew Carmona가 제기한 <도시설계>의 6가지(형태적, 지각적, 사회적, 시각적, 기능적, 시간적) 차원을 분석하여 계층분석법(AHP)을통해 장소성의 특성을 도출하고 지역 커뮤니티와 관련된 선행연구를 분석하여 지역 커뮤니티의 특성을 정리한 후, 지역 커뮤니티 빈집의 장소성 평가지표를 도출하였다. 이어서 선행연구 분석을 통해 지역 커뮤니티 빈집의 장소성 평가지표에 대한 세부항목을 정리하였다. 마지막으로 이상의 세부항목에대해 총 3회에 걸쳐 델파이 기법을 통해 15명의 전문가 조사를 진행하여 세부항목을 도출한 후 과학적 검증을 위해 탐색적 요인분석과 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 사회과학적인 방법을 통해 지역 커뮤니티 빈집 장소성의 주관성과 감정적인 부분을 배제한 채 델파이 기법을 통해 전문가 그룹과 상호 작용하면서 지역 커뮤니티 빈집의 장소성 평가지표로 각각 연계성· 정체성· 안전성· 심미성· 다양성· 접근성· 개방성· 편리성· 공공성의 9가지와 33가지의 세부항목을 도출하였다. 상술한 항목들을 참고기준으로 해야만 빈집의 장소성을 복구하여 지역 커뮤니티의 활력을 활성화시킬 수 있으며, 지역 커뮤니티 빈집 장소성의 명확한 통계자료를 제공할 수 있다.

        공항공간의 현대적 장소성 고찰- 공항 유휴부지 활용전략을 중심으로 -

        This study explores the planning and utilization of idle sites of an airport and to examine the possibility of conceptualexpansion of placeness. The existing theory of placeness pertains to modern spaces, which covers the concept of fixed placesand migratory non-places. Based on the idea of “rootedness” placeness is inseparable from territorialized lands and monumentsover a period of time. On the other hand, ‘non-place’ has the temporal characteristics of immediacy and ‘actuality’, such ascontinuous events of temporary occupation akin to constant migration. As such, an airport space would be a typical space of‘non-place’. However, this study focuses on the fact that the idle site of the airport can be rediscovered as the ground forcontemporary placeness as they emerge as urban areas with an unprecedented scale of possibility. Currently, the airport idlesite is being discussed as a social project that considers placeness, rather than merely discussing the possibility of capitalistdevelopment. As a non-place, the idle site of the airport reveals a new placeness based on the romance of emptiness. Toshow a new placeness that appears on the strata that used to be a non-place, this study discloses the interpretation ofplaceness latent in premeditated agenda by analyzing the issues of repurposing land use and utilizing existing infrastructure inthe idle site of the airport. Therefore, a planning strategy for developing a typical space of 'non-place' into a new urban placeis interpreted as an attempt to add a bricolage of new place on top of a space stratum (current idle site of the airport) of'non-place'. Thus, the modern placeness can be considered not only as a bricolage of place and 'non-place' as fragments butalso as accumulated strata.

        여백의 장소성에 관한 이론적 모델 연구

        여백의 장소성은 ‘여백’을 단순히 비어있는 공백이 아닌 ‘장소적 가치와 의미를 가지는 공간’으로 능동적으로 해석하기 위한 시론적 개념이다. 이 연구는 여백의 장소성을 논의하기 위한 이론적 모델을 구축하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 ‘여백’과 ‘장소성’에 대한 선행 연구들을 대상으로 문헌 연구와 내용 분석, 사례 연구, 전문가인터뷰 등을 종합하여 여백의 장소성에 관한 이론적 모델을 여백의 장소성의 범주, 사례 분석틀, 실천 전략으로종합 정리한 3W 모델을 도출하였다. 첫째, 여백의 장소성 범주는 여백의 장소성을 개념, 구성, 유형, 생성, 체험, 특징으로 설명하는 통합적 접근방식이다. 둘째, 여백의 장소성 사례 분석틀은 여백, 인간 활동, 의미를 주요 항목으로 여백의 장소성 유형별 사례를 이해하는 틀이다. 셋째, 여백의 장소성 실천 전략은 여백의 장소 전략과 마케팅전략으로 현장에서 여백의 장소성을 강화하기 위한 실천 프로세스이다. 이 연구는 여백의 장소성에 대한 이론적논의뿐만 아니라 유형별 대표 사례, 여백의 장소성 조성 사례, 장소마케팅 방안을 적용하여 이론의 실용성을 검증하였다. 이를 통해 여백의 장소성을 이해하고 정량화하거나 평가할 수 있는 방법론을 제공하였다. 여백의 장소성이론적 모델은 피로 사회 속 인간 상실과 산업 사회 장소 상실의 대안적 장소를 만드는데 활용될 수 있으며, 도시재생 사업 등 사회문화적 활용과 비움의 라이프 스타일을 실천하는 개인의 실천적 삶에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. The placeness of white space is a preliminary concept to actively interpret ‘the white space’ as ‘a space with value and meaning of the place’ rather than simply as an empty space. This study aims to build a theoretical model for discussing the placeness of white space. 3W model was derived that summarized the theoretical model on the placeness of white space into The category, The case analysis framework, and The practice strategy. First, As an integrated approach to explaining the placeness of white space. Second, The case analysis framework of the placeness of white space was derived. Third, The practice strategy of the placeness of white space was presented. This study verified the practicality of the theory by applying not only theoretical discussions on the placeness of white space, but also representative cases by type, cases of making placeness of white space, and place marketing measures. This provided a methodology for understanding, quantifying, and evaluating the placenesss of white space. The thoretical model on the placeness of white space can be used to create an alternative place for the loss of humanity and placelessness in an industrial fatique society, and can contribute to socio-cultural use and the practical life of individuals.

        안성의 문학적 장소성

        이 글은 안성의 문학적 장소설ㅇ으로 안성 출신 문인인 안구선, 안막, 박두진, 조병화, 정진규, 임홍재의 문학세계와 생애를 조명하는 글이다. 문학적 장소성이란 이들의 문학세계와 생애가 장소성에 영향을 미치는 것을 이른다. 이 글은 이 푸 투안, 애드워드 랠프, 도 린 매시 등 인본주의 지리학자들의 장소 이론을 바탕으로 출신 문인들이 안성의 장소들과 맺는 상호 관계에 초점을 맞춘다. 안국선과 안막의 생애가 보여주는 사상의 부침은 안성시의 획정과정에서 드러나는 장소의 부친과 유사하지만 직접적인 관련은 없다. 다만 1963녀 그들의 출생지인 양지군(현 고삼면)이 안성시로 편입되면서 안성의 문학적 장소성의 일부로 편입된다. 안국선의 개화사상과 이후 친일 행적, 안막의 프로 비평가에서 문화기획자로서의 변신, 월북과 숙청은 문학사와 사상사를 포함한 한국현대사의 한 단면을 보여준다. 평가가 긍정적이든 부정적이든 이들은 역사적 의미로 안성의 문학적 장소성 안에서 작동하게 된다. 박두진, 조병화, 정진규, 임홍재 등 아성 출신 시인들에게서 나타나는 공통적 특징은 고향의식이다. 고향은 원초적 동일성의 장소이다. 이들은 각각 초월적 자연과 현실 인식의 출발점 (박두진)이자 근원적 영원성을 응시하는 존재의 본향 (조병화)이며 완전한 자유와 합일의 세계 (정진규)이고 피폐한 현실 너머 공동체의 가치를 꿈꾸는 장소 (임홍재)로 안성에 고향으로서의 의미를 더한다. 그러나 시인의 고향은 시인의 의식 속에서 재구성된 없는 장소 이다. 이렇게 상실된 고향은 그 장소를 진정성을 가지고 ?q섬하는 자들을 통해 되살아난다. 이것이 고향이 지니는 진정한 의미라고 할 수 있다. 출신 문인들은 문학과 생애를 통해 안성에 풍부한 장소감을 제공한다. 안성의 문학적 장소성을 생생하게 만드는 일은 결국 장소와 개인적 경험의 끊임없는 상호작용에 의해서만 가능하다. 문학적 장소성의 측면에서 새로운 가능성은 아직 많이 남아 있다. 타계한 지 얼마 되지 않았거나 아직 현역에서 활동하고 있는 문인들, 안성에 작업실을 차린 문인들은 새롭고 다양한 문학적 장소성을 제공할 것으로 기대된다. 안성의 문학적 장소성은 끊임없이 움직이며 새롭게 창조될 것이다. This study sheds light on the literary world and life of Ahn Guk-seon, Ahn Mk, Park Doo-jin, Cho Byeong-hwa, Jeong Jin-gyu, and Lim Hong-jae, who are writers from Anseong. Literary placeness means that their literary world and life affect placeness. This study focuses on the interrelationships that writers have with places in Anseong based on the theory of place of humanist geographers such as Yi-Fu Tuan, Edward Ralph, and Doreen Massey. The ups and downs of thoughts shown by the life of An Guk-seon and Ahn Mk are similar to those of places revealed in the process of defining Anseong-si, but are not directly related. However, Yangji-gun (currently Gosam-myeon), their birthplace, was incorporated into Anseong-si in 1963, and it was incorporated as part of Anseong s literary placeness. Ahn Kuk-seon s enlightenment thoughts, pro-Japanese activities, and Ahn mak s transformation from a proletarian critic to a cultural planner, going to North Korea, and being purged show one aspect of Korean modern history, including literary and thought history. Whether the evaluation is positive or negative, they work within Anseong s literary placeness in a historical meaning. A common feature that appears in poets from Anseong, such as Park Doo-jin, Cho Byung-hwa, Jeong Jin-gyu, and Lim Hong-jae, is the sense of hometown. Hometown is a place of original identity. They are the starting point of transcendent nature and reality awareness (Park Doo-jin), home of existence staring at fundamental eternity (Cho Byung-hwa), complete freedom and unity (Jeong Jin-gyu), and a place to dream of community value beyond the impoverished reality (Lim Hong-jae). However, the poet s hometown is a place that doesn t exist reconstructed in the poet s consciousness. The lost hometown is revived by those who experience with sincerity. This is the true meaning of hometown. Writers of origin provide a rich sense of place in Anseong through literature and life. Making Anseong s literary place vivid is eventually possible only by the constant interaction of place and personal experience. There are still many new possibilities in terms of literary placeness. Writers who have just passed away or are still active, and writers who have set up a writing room in Anseong are expected to provide new and diverse literary placeness. Anseong s literary placeness will be created by constantly moving.

        현대적 의미의 장소성을 적용한 복합 커뮤니티시설 특성 연구

        The goal of this study is to present mixed-use community facilities that characteristics of placeness applied throughmodern interpretation to solve the collapse of community consciousness and loss of placeness due to rapid urbanization andindustrialization. In architecture, the community is dealt with a discussion of the place. While the sociological approach is aboutcommunity discussion, the architectural approach deals with the concept of place. In other words, humans interact with thecommunity through places, and places are the means to gather people. In architecture, placeness can be defined as a conceptin which a particular experience is related as a land or space where a certain act or event occurs and has a limited boundary. We often hear claims that places in modern society are gradually being lost due to the development of transportation, lifestylechanges, and the development of information and communications technology. This study considers that the existing placenessis not being lost, but that it still exists even today. The correlation was examined based on an understanding of community andplaces, and the architectural characteristics of mixed-use community facilities were analyzed through theoretical research on theplaceness of modern meaning. The elements of placeness in the modern sense were derived through a comprehensiveanalysis based on the prior study which derived the new placeness and the elements of the existing placeness. It wasreinterpreted of "Spacio-temperal" with extensibility and complexity, "Mobility" with ambiguity and variability, and "polysemy" withpersonal, collective, and social elements of the community, and the characteristics of each element were reinterpreted in relationto the community. The results of this study will have significance in that the directions and considerations are presented asnewly reorganized placeness factors rather than traditional placeness for planning mixed-use community facilities as acommunity space in the future.

        도시재생사업이 장소성 형성에 미친 영향 분석

        Urban regeneration project site turns a meaningless ‘space’ into a meaningful ‘place’ where people live and share their lives. When place meets people’ identity, it forms ‘Placeness’ and express the characteristics of the place. Especially, the psychological impact that plays an important role in placeness formation is represented by the ‘place image’ and ‘place attachment’. By visualizing the true meaning of the ‘place’ and allowing social bonding between people and the place, Urban regeneration project can achieve its goal by commercializing the placeness. In this sense, Urban regeneration project plays an important role by turning a declining city into a meaningful ‘place’. However, there is lack of detailed discussion on the process of forming placeness within the urban regeneration project site. Thus, this study is to analyze the impact of visitor’s recognition of the physical environment and activity program of the urban regeneration project site, and place image and place attachment. In order to derive the results, Junangdong, Cheongju was selected as the study site. Placeness in Junangdong is consisted of physical factors, behavioral factors, and psychological factors. User survey was conducted to measure the formative factors of Placeness in Junangdong, and ordinal logistic regression model was used to analyze the effect relationship. Based on these results, it was confirmed that Junangdong visitors recognize physical and behavioral factors, and form a specific place image and place attachment. These results indicate that placeness was formed in the Junangdong. This study is meaningful as psychology of visitors was evaluated, and analyzed the placeness formation process focused on an actual urban regeneration project sites.

        이기영 소설의 서사공간과 장소성

        This paper attempts to reread the novel of Lee Ki-young in terms of narrative space and placeness. The narrative space and placeness of Lee Ki-young’s novel responds to the deepening expansion of spatial imagination rooted in the writer's own experience which is divided into farming area and town, a series of factory and mine as a specific place outside of the two spaces. In Lee Ki-young’s novel, Rural Village is the base of place experience and the center of spatial imagination. The home of poor tenant farmers appearing in Lee Ki-young's rural novel preserves the placeness inherited through tradition and has a closed space that accepts natural order as fate, but gradually opens to the outside beyond the boundaries of the place. The feature, Hometown(고향), is a crystal plate that converges and expands the typical spatial composition and placeness of rural narratives established in the early middle of Lee Ki-young’s novel, and symbolizes the special place love for rural space through a return of hometown motif. In the novel of Lee Ki-young, the process of expanding and deepening the writer's spatial imagination appears as a ‘city’. Seoul, which is depicted in cold and heartless images in works such as “The Wonbo”(원보), “The Money”(돈), and “The puerperd”(산모), is emerging as a place dominated by the placelessness of being rooted out from the true place of life experienced by poor farmers and workers. The narrative of mining villages and spaces called Manchuria, which emerged around the 1940s, inherently has the character of compromise writing, which had no choice but to meet the Japanese national policy. “Dongcheonhong”(동천홍) and Gwangsanchon(광산촌) show the process of seeking artist self-esteem through deepening spatial imagination based on their own experiences. The Son of the Earth(대지의 아들) and The Land of Maiden(처녀지) also reveal problems in that they are responding to the national policy imposed by Japan, but in terms of expanding spatial imagination and restoring place, it means one of the plans that writer Lee Ki-young has long dreamed of. 이 논문은 이기영 소설을 서사 공간과 장소의 측면에서 다시 읽어내고자 하는 것이다. 이기영 소설의 무대는 ‘농촌’과 ‘도시’로 크게 나누어질 수 있지만 이 두 공간에 포섭되지 않는 ‘공장’과 ‘광산’같은 특별한 장소를 포함하고 있다. 이기영 소설에서 ‘농촌’은 장소체험의 거점이자 공간적 상상력의 중심을 이루고 있다. 이기영의 농촌소설에 등장하는 가난한 소작농의 터전은 전통계승적인 장소성을 보존하고 있으며 자연의 질서를 운명으로 받아들이는 닫혀있는 공간으로서의 성격을 띠고 있지만 서서히 장소의 경계를 넘어 외부를 향해 열리게 된다. 장편 『고향』은 이기영의 초기 중단편에서 확립되는 농촌 서사의 전형적인 공간 구도와 장소성을 그대로 수렴하고 확장한 결정판이자 고향 회귀 모티프를 통해 농촌공간에 대한 특별한 장소애를 상징적으로 드러내고 있는 작품이다. 이기영 소설에서 작가의 공간적 상상력의 확대와 심화 과정을 잘 보여주는 것은 ‘도시 공간’이다. 「원보」와 「돈」, 「산모」 같은 작품 속에서 냉혹하고 비정한 이미지로 그려지고 있는 서울이라는 도시공간은 가난한 농민과 노동자들이 이중적으로 경험하는 진정한 삶의 장소로부터 뿌리 뽑힘의 현장이자 ‘장소 없는 장소’라는 ‘무장소성’이 지배하는 공간으로 대두하고 있다. 1940년대를 전후하여 대두하는 광산촌과 만주라는 공간에 대한 서사는 일제의 국책에 부응할 수밖에 없었던 ‘타협적 글쓰기’라는 성격이 내재되어 있다. 『동천홍』과 『광산촌』은 자신의 체험에 근거한 공간적 상상력의 심화를 통해 작가적 자존을 모색해나가는 과정을 보여주고 있는 경우이다. 장편 『대지의 아들』과 『처녀지』또한 일제가 강요했던 국책에 부응하고 있다는 점에서 문제성을 드러내고 있지만, 공간적 상상력의 확대와 장소성의 회복이라는 측면에서 볼 때 농촌 공간과 체험을 정신적 고향으로 삼았던 작가 이기영이 오랫동안 꿈꾸어왔던 기획의 한 가지 실현이라는 의미를 가지고 있다.

        유휴공간을 활용한 복합문화공간의 장소성 형성에 관한 연구

        In this study, placeness of the multiplex cultural space utilizing unused space is analyzed. To this end, some factors that affect formation of the placeness of the multiplex cultural space is identified. Then it is investigated that how the placeness formation factors affect the value of the place felt by visitors through their place attachment. In addition, it is analyzed that how these factors affect customers' revisit intention to the place. It is identified that there are three factors, physical, behavioral and meaningful factor affecting formation of the placeness of the multiplex cultural space. It is also turned out that the value of the place consisted of two components, functional and emotional value. Analysis result shows that two of the three placement formation factors, behavioral and meaningful factors, affect visitors’ perception of the place value through the place attachment while the physical factor affect it directly. Finally, it turns out that consumers' perception of the place values have a positive effect on their revisit intention to the place. Results of this study can be used to establish effective strategies and useful guidance for unused space based multiplex cultural space development.
