        국내 엔지니어링 기업의 해외 PMC 사업 역량강화 방안

        Korea’s construction engineering companies are facing difficulties in deterioration of international construction profitability because they focus on traditional engineering fields such as design and construction supervision. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen competency of high-add-value engineering field such as Project-Management-Consultancy (PMC). This paper aims to suggest the strategies to enhance the international PMC competency. This study identified the competency factors for international PMC, using Borich needs assessment and Locus for focus model. As a result, step-by-step strategies were suggested according to the competencylevel in domestic engineering companies. The results of this study will assist Korean engineering companies to consider the important competencies for international PMC projects. Furthermore, enhancement strategies are going to be proper references for domestic engineering companies which prepare the international PMC project. 국내 엔지니어링 기업은 설계, 감리 및 시공과 같은 전통적인 엔지니어링 분야에만 사업을 집중적으로 수행함에 따라, 해외건설 수익성 악화의 어려움을 겪고 있다. 따라서 PMC와 같은 고부가가치 엔지니어링 분야의 역량을 강화할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 해외 PMC 사업 진출을 위한 역량강화 방안을 제시하고자 한다. 보리치 요구도 평가와 로커스 포 포커스 모형을 통해 해외 PMC 역량 요인을 규명하였으며, 정량분석과 정성 분석을 종합적으로 고려하여 국내 엔지니어링 기업의 역량수준에 따른 단계별 향상전략을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 국내 엔지니어링 기업이 해외PMC 사업을 위한 주요 역량을 파악하고, 해외 PMC 사업을 준비하는데 국내 기업에 참고 전략이 될 것이다.

        대형 국책 프로젝트 성과 달성을 위한 PMC(Project management Consultant) 도입의 필요성에 관한 연구

        최근 글로벌 건설기업들은 고부가가치 사업인 PMC(Project Management Consultant)로 전향하고 있는 추세이다. 하지만 국내 건설엔지니어링 기업들은 여전히 실시설계 및 시공감리 위주의 사업을 수행하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 건설사업 중 PMC가 도입되어 완공된 사업의 사례를 분석하여 글로벌 기준의 프로젝트관리방법이 적용된 PMC 도입의 필요성을 알아보고자 한다. 국내 대형 국책사업 중 글로벌 기준의 PM이 적용된 사례는 1970년대 원자력발전소 사업부터 경부고속철도, 인천국제공항, 인천대교 및 주한미군기지이전사업 등이 있다. 하지만 이러한 사업들은 선진 글로벌 기업들이 국내에서 수행한 PMC 사업들이다. 이러한 사업들의 사례분석을 통해 대형국책사업의 성공적인 완공을 위한 PMC 도입의 필요성을 분석하였다는 점에 시사점이 있다. Recently, global construction companies are turning to PMC, a high value-added business. However, domestic construction engineering companies are still conducting projects focused on detailed design and construction supervision. This study aims to investigate the necessity of introducing PMC by analyzing the cases of completed projects in which PMC was introduced among domestic construction projects. Among the large-scale national projects in Korea, examples of the application of global standard PM include nuclear power plant projects in the 1970s, Gyeongbu High Speed Rail, Incheon International Airport, Incheon Bridge and Yongsan United States Forces Korea Base Relocation Plan (YRP) projects. However, these projects are PMC projects carried out by advanced global companies in Korea. There is an implication in that the necessity of introducing PMC for the successful completion of large-scale national projects was analyzed through the case analysis of these projects.

        신속 조형용 은점토 소결체의 물성 연구

        은을 이용한 PMC (precious metal clay; 은점토)는 최근 신속한 조형이 가능하여 공예품의 제작용도로 시장이 확대되고 있다. 손으로 직접 조형되는 특성 때문에 PMC자체가 친환경적이어야 하며 소결온도에 따라 적정한 강도와 수축율이 보장되어야 한다. 이미 알려진 선진사의 PMC의 바인더와 달리, 팜오일, 글리콜릭산, 물을 주성분으로 한 새로운 바인더를 제안하여 새로운 PMC를 제안하고, 이를 이용하여 디스크형태의 시편을 성형하여 700~900℃(50℃간격)구간에서 15분간 소결하여 이들의 경도, 무게변화, 수축률, 소결밀도, 미세구조변화 특성을 선진사의 PMC의 특성과 비교하였다. 제안된 PMC는 선진사의 것과 물성을 비교하여 조형용으로 사용 가능하다고 판단되었으며 850℃ -15분 조건이 조형물 제작에 유리한 소결 조건임을 확인하였다. The market of silver precious metal clay (PMC) is promising as its application for agile metal craft. The property of suitable hardness and shrinkage as well as environment-safe is strictly required as people make the final product with bare hands. We propose a silver PMC with new organic binder made of palm oil, glycolic acid and water. Then we prepared disk specimen of our proposed PMC and well-known commercial PMC. We investigated the hardness, weight change, linear shrinkage, density and micro structure evolution with sintering temperature of 700~900℃ (50℃ gap) for 15minutes. We confirm our proposed PMC has suitable property for craft product comparable for commercial PMC, and the optimum sintering condition is 850 ℃ -15minutes for metal craft application.

        Nif A의 Overproduction에 의한 Klebsiella oxytoca 균주의 질소 고정력 증진 효과

        논토양 중에 벼의 근권에 서식하여 벼에 협력적인 관계로 질소를 공급해 주는 질소고정 미생물인 Klebsiella oxytoca를 미생물 비료로 활용하기 위한 새로운 질소고정 균주의 육종을 시도하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. Klebsiella oxytoca NG13, Klebsiella oxytoca SH31, Klebsiella oxytoca SH161에 pMC71A를 형질전환 한 경우, 무질소 배지에서 원래의 균주의 질소고정력에 비해 질소고정력이 각각 6.4배, 17.2배, 13.5배 증진되었다. 2. 15mM의 NH_4^+ 존재하에서, Klebsiella oxytoca NG13, Klebsiella oxytoca SH31, Klebsiella oxytoca SH161의 경우는 모두 질소고정능의 완전한 저해를 받은 반면 pMC71A가 도입된 Klebsiella oxytoca NG13 /pMC71A, Klebsiella oxytoca SH31 /pMC71A, Klebsiella oxytoca SH161/pMC71A,의 경우는 무질소 배지에서의 질소고정력에 비해 각각 13.7%, 7.7%, 6.2%의 질소고정 활성을 보였다. As a research for developing biofertilizers, Klebsiella oxytoca, an associative nitrogen fixer in the rhizosphere of rice plant in the soil of paddy field, was subjected to molecular breeding. The results obtained were as followings ; 1). By transforming pMC71A, Nif A overproducing plasmid, into Klebsiella oxytoca NG13, Klebsiella oxytoca SH31, and Klebsiella oxytoca SH161, nitrogenase activities in the absence of nitrogen source in the medium were increased 6.4, 17.2, and 13.5 times, respectively, in comparison with the parent strains. 2). Nitrogenase activity of Klebsiella oxytoca NG13, Klebsiella oxytoca SH31, and Klebsiella oxytoca SH161 was completely repressed in the presence of 15mM NH_4^+. But, nitrogenase activities of Klebsiella oxytoca NG13 /pMC71A, Klebsiella oxytoca SH31 /pMC71A, and Klebsiella oxytoca SH161/pMC71A, harboring pMC71A, were 13.7%, 7.7%, and 6.2% of the nitrogenase activities in the absence of nitrogen source in the medium, respectively.

        PMC (Project Management Consultant)와 인적자원역량이 건설프로젝트성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 대형화되는 건설프로젝트의 성과 달성을 위해 체계적으로 프로젝트 관리를 할 수 있는 PMC의 중요성과 도입의 필요성을 증명하는 연구이다. 이를 위해 구조방정식 모형(SEM) 분석을 통하여 PMC의 역할과 건설프로젝트 성과와의 관계를 분석하여 PMC의 필요성 및 프로젝트 성공의 중요한 요인인 인적자원역량 중 PM리더십과 팀 구성원 역량이 건설프로젝트 성과에 미치는 영향을 파악하였다. 연구결과, PMC는 인적자원역량과 건설프로젝트 성과에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤고, 인적자원역량 또한 건설프로젝트 성과에 유의미한 영향을 미친다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 국내 대형 건설프로젝트에 PMC를 도입하고 PM리더십과 팀 구성원 역량을 강화한다면 건설프로젝트를 성공적으로 완공할 수 있음을 시사한다

        미립자 금속 촉매 방식 배기가스 후처리장치 재제조 공정 연구

        Developing an efficient remanufacturing process that mitigates severe failure in particulate metal catalysts (PMCs) is necessary to reduce environmental pollution (e.g., CO₂ emission) and manufacturing costs. In this study, a PMC remanufacturing process was developed by classifying the failures exhibited by a used PMC into four levels, followed by determining the feasibility of remanufacturing the PMC. The developed remanufacturing process consisted 11 steps according to the failure levels of the used PMC. The performance of a new PMC and that of the PMC remanufactured by our proposed method were evaluated and compared. PMC remanufacturing is an eco-friendly technology that involves less production steps, reduces raw-material consumption, reduces environmental pollution, and aids in resource saving.

        설사증 환자에서 Clostridium Difficile Toxin Value 분석

        Clostridium difficile 연관 설사증은 항생제 관련 병원 감염 설사에 매우 중요하며, 최근 병원 내 C. difficile 감염 발생률은 계속 증가해왔다. 본 연구에서는 2005년 1월부터 2008년 12월까지 대변 총 1,329 검체를 검사 하여, C. difficile 발생률과 감염 특성을 분석하였다. 전체 1,329 검체 중 독소 A/B검사(EIA) 양성 반응을 나타낸 검체는 총283건이었다. 4년간 평균 양성률은 21.2%였으며, 연령 분포에서는 70세 이상에서 가장 높았다. 내시경 소견에서 PMC 57.7%, 정상 소견 19.5%였으며, 조직학적 소견에서는 PMC 26.8%, AAC 52.2% 였다. C. difficile 은 PMC 와 관련이 있으나, 내시경 검사 및 조직 검사 소견에서는 정상에서 PMC 까지 다양하게 나타났다. Clostridium difficile-associated disease (CDAD) is an important nosocomial infectious diarrhea and is associated with antibiotic use. Recently, incidence of C. difficile has been increasing in hospitals. A total of 1,329 stool specimens were examined from January, 2005 to December, 2008. This study analyzed the incidence and clinical characteristics of C. difficile infections on them. Out of 1,329 stool specimens, 283 specimens showed toxin A/B positive, using EIA. The positive rate was 21.2%; with the highest incidence among and above the 70 years old. On endoscopy, psedo membranous colitis was found in 57.7%, and 19.5% of patients were normal. Pathologic finding showed PMC in 26.8% of patients, AAC in 52.2%. C. difficile was associated with PMC, however, endoscopic and pathologic findings tests showed normal to PMC.

        우크라이나전쟁과 PMCs(민간군사기업)

        With the full support of the West, the Ukrainian military succeeded in defending, leaving Russia facing a severe shortage of troops. Although Russia ordered the mobilization to solve this problem, Putin's leadership was greatly affected by rising public dissatisfaction. Accordingly, the Russian government seems to be actively using private military enterprises. It is unclear whether Russia's PMC operation is contractual or voluntary. Therefore, it is not easy to clearly distinguish the legal status of the Russian PMCs. However, the coup led by the Wagner Group led the Russian government to issue a decree to directly control the PMCs, and a new evaluation is needed regarding the legal status of the PMCs, its relationship with the Russian government, and Russia's state responsibility. Before the Presidential Decree and the Ministry of National Defense's Decree were proclaimed, owing to a lack of clear evidence that it forms part of the Russian regular army, as far as the PMC's legal status is concerned is either civilians (armed groups) who took directly participation in hostility or is volunteer corps. On the other hand, after the promulgation of laws concernd, it is evident that command and control relations have established between the Russian government and the PMCs, and as a result, it is operating either as an institution of the Russian government or a part of the Russian military at least by contract. In this case, the Russian PMC will have the privilegy of a combatant when captured. Regarding PMCs acts and Russia's state responsibility, Russia will not have state responsibility because the PMC acts cannot be regarded as an act of the Russian government prior to the promulgation of related laws. However, Russian government would have state responsibility for that she knew the violation of the war law by PMCs but did not take appropriate action. After the promulgation of the Decrees, it would be that the command and control relationship between the Russian military and the PMCs has been formed. Thus Russia will have state responsibility for the PMC's actions.

      • 갑상선 미세유두암에서 경부림프절 전이의 예측인자에 대한 연구

        Background :Though papillary microcarcinoma(PMC) of thyroid gland is known to have very favorable long-term prognosis, the recurrence in the neck and distant metastasis have been often reported. The predictive factors of node metastasis and tumor recurrence in clinical course were investigated to define surgical decision or guidelines in surgery of papillary microcarcinoma. Methods :The authors conducted a retrospective an-alysis of 216 patients of PMC treated with surgery at Department of Surgery, Busan Paik Hospital for the period from 1997 to 2007. Of these patients, 58 cases showing cervical lymph node metastasis at initial sur-gery were studied. Results :In overall 216 patients, the sex ratio of male to female was 1:9.3(male 21, female 195 cases), the mean age at the time of diagnosis was 44.7 years and the median tumor size was 6.61mm. Neck lymph node metastasis was found in 58 patients(26.9%), thyroid capsular invasion was 56 cases(25.9%), multifocality and bilaterality were found in 32(14.8%) and 29 cases(13.4%), respectively. Through statistical analysis, sex, capsular invasion, ETE, and tumor size(>5mm) were considered to be predictive factors of cer-vical lymph nodes metastasis. Of them, capsular invasion was the most predictive indicator of cervical lymph node metastasis on multivariate analysis. Nodal recurrence was observed in 6 of 58 patients of node positive at initial surgery. Conclusion :The cervical lymph node metastasis is known to be a risk factor of prognosis in PMC of thyroid gland. The results of this study showed four statistically significant independent predictive factors of cervical lymph node metastasis in PMC:capsular invasion, tumor size(>5mm), ETE, and sex. On multivariate analysis, capsular invasion was a great influencing factor in prediction of lymph node metastasis. Basically, patients who has predictive factors of cervical lymph node metastasis should have a thorough investigation, and close surveillance for nodal status is required in follow-up.

        Activity of Lactobacillus crispatus isolated from vaginal microbiota against Mycobacterium tuberculosis

        Tuberculosis, an infectious disease, is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. It remains a significant public health issue around the globe, causing about 1.8 million deaths every year. Drug-resistant M. tuberculosis, including multi-drug-resistant (MDR), extremely-drug-resistant (XDR), and totally drugresistant (TDR) M. tuberculosis, continues to be a threat to public health. In the case of antibiotic-resistant tuberculosis, the treatment effect of conventional antibiotics is low. Side effects caused by high doses over a long period are causing severe problems. To overcome these problems, there is an urgent need to develop a new anti-tuberculosis drug that is different from the existing compound-based antibiotics. Probiotics are defined as live microorganisms conferring health benefits. They can be potential therapeutic agents in this context as the effectiveness of probiotics against different infectious diseases has been well established. Here, we report that Lactobacillus crispatus PMC201 shows a promising effect on tuberculosis isolated from vaginal fluids of healthy Korean women. Lactobacillus crispatus PMC201 reduced M. tuberculosis H37Rv under co-culture conditions in broth and reduced M. tuberculosis H37Rv and XDR M. tuberculosis in macrophages. Lactobacillus crispatus PMC201 was not toxic to a guinea pig model and did not induce dysbiosis in a human intestinal microbial ecosystem simulator. Taken together, these results indicate that L. crispatus PMC201 can be a promising alternative drug candidate in the current tuberculosis drug regime. Further study is warranted to assess the in vivo efficacy and confirm the mode of action of L. crispatus PMC201.
