      • Developing Educational Mobile Application Architecture using SOA

        Mobile technologies have enormous potential to transform ordinary institutions content to electronic content. This change contributes to advance the level of performance of these institutions, whether educational or services institutions. Therefore, developing such applications using one of the well-known Software Engineering paradigms is important to support the institutions. Most of educational organizations in Oman don’t provide a clear mobile application architecture that supports different organizational services. The significant purposes of these services are to provide an environment with more malleable procedures, satisfying student’s needs, and achieving a quick access to information. Moreover, this paper proposes an extension tool to support students in all educational fields to send their appeal against exams results via a mobile application that integrates one of the well-known software architectures called Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). In this paper, Service-Oriented Architecture for post result mobile application is used to integrate a set of services that have been implemented in a web server with the existing post result application.

      • Mobile Application and Its Universal Impact

        The current market of mobile application market is expanding with variety and diversity. The rise of Android and iOS based mobile operating system providing similar playing field for all the applications. In this article, some credible evidence from the modern market and the new figures clarified the current situation of mobile applications and their position on the global market. In fact, we expect this paper to assist with issues relating to mobile applications in general and mobile phone in general in the fields of study.

      • An Empirical Study on the effect of Mobile Application Spin-Off

        This study examines the impact of a mobile application spinoff on the new companion application adoption and user engagement. We exploit a natural experiment in the launch of a new spun-off companion mobile application to identify the causal effect of spin-off on spun-off companion application adoption and user engagement. In our research context, a mobile advertisement company implemented the mobile application spin-off due to the new platform policy enacted. However, there also existed an application in this company which was not affected by the policy and continued the service without any change. By comparing mobile application usage in these two distinct setups, we demonstrate robust evidence that reveals the impact of the spin-off on spun-off mobile application adoption and user engagement of the application. Our results demonstrate that the spun-off companion application adoption induces users to use the application less frequently as measured by daily active usage. Surprisingly, we find that user engagement, measured by an advertisement click-through-rate, with the spun-off application is significantly increased.

        모바일 사용 혜택과 비용이 모바일 기기와의 자아연결에 미치는 영향: 패션 어플리케이션 사용/비사용자 간 비교 고찰

        본 연구는 모바일 기기 중 스마트폰을 대상으로 소비자와 모바일 기기와의 관계 형성 및 그 설명요인에 대해 살펴보았다. 모바일 기기와 모바일 어플리케이션의 혜택을 구분하고, 각 혜택은 효용적 차원과 쾌락적 차원을 포함하고 있으며 모바일 기기와 소비자의 자아연결에 영향을 미칠 것으로 제안하였다. 또한 모바일 사용상 지각된 인지적 비용 역시 사용 혜택과의 상호작용을 통해 관계성 형성에 영향을 미칠 것으로 보았다. 스마트폰을 보유하고 앱스토어를 통해 직접 어플리케이션을 다운로드하여 사용한 경험이 있는 20-30대 소비자를 연구대상으로 설문조사하여, 최종 478부의 응답치를 분석하였다. 특히 패션제품의 커뮤니케이션 매체로서 스마트폰과 어플리케이션의 잠재력을 예측하고자 하는 관점에서 패션 어플리케이션 사용자와 비사용자로 표본을 나누어 두 집단 간 모델의 차이를 검증하였다. 연구결과, 모바일 기기와 소비자의 자아연결의 관계형성에는 모바일 기기 및 어플리케이션의 쾌락적 혜택이 효용적 혜택보다 중요함을 확인하였다. 그러나 모바일 기기 사용의 인지적 비용이 큰 경우, 모바일 기기의 사회적 매력성이 모바일 기기와 소비자의 자아연결에 미치는 영향력은 감소되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 과정은 패션 어플리케이션 사용자와 비사용자간 차이가 나타났는데, 패션 혁신성이 높은 패션어플리케이션 사용자는 정보충족성과 사회적 연결성만 자아연결 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀져 편향적인 모바일 기기와의 관계를 형성하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 이에 반해 패션 어플리케이션 비사용자는 모바일에서 더욱 강조되는 혜택인 개인화와 유희성이 자아연결에 주요한 영향 변인임을 알 수 있었고, 특히 인지적 비용이 증가할수록 정보충족성과 유희성 혜택이 자아연결에 미치는 영향이 증가함을 확인하였다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 스마트 폰뿐만 아니라 다양한 향후 모바일 기기의 등장과 함께 모바일 어플리케이션을 통해 소비자와의 커뮤니케이션 전략을 구사하고자 할 때, 일차적으로 소비자와 기기의 인지적 자아연결을 위한 관계형성에 있어 중요한 혜택 요인을 제언할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. A consumer develops a personalized relationship with a product which is in the possession of him/herself through the use experience. This relationship with the product impacts, depending on its nature and strength, on the owner`s self-recognition and awareness. For smart phones, which are creating a huge buzz on the market, users are encouraged to search for and buy mobile applications they want, and download them to their devices. After this, the initial version of the phone becomes a different, customized product. Through continuous purchases and uses of applications, this personalization process further develops, which, in turn, has influence on the smart phone-user relationships. That is, it is believed that smart phones are fully functional when applications are utilized. This study selected consumers in their twenties and thirties, the major bracket of smart phone users, to examine how multiple benefits provided by smart phones and applications, and subsequent cognitive costs impact on the relationships between the user and the phone. Particularly, given the interactions between the benefits and costs, this paper focused on how a smart phone influences on a user`s self-connection in terms of its reciprocal relationship, and analyzed the difference between people who use fashion-related applications and those who do not. The analysis was conducted with data collected from 487 male and female respondents who have owned smart phones and downloaded applications. Before the further analysis, the reliability and the validity of multi-item constructs were tested by Confirmatory Factor Analysis. The mobile device benefits was found to be composed of two benefit types, which were utilitarian benefits (technological advantage and safety) and hedonic benefits (aesthetics and social attractiveness). In the same vein, Application benefits also composed of two benefit types of utilitarian (information fulfillment and personalization and hedonic benefits (playfulness and social connectivity). These utilitarian and hedonic benefits from both device and applications had effects on the users` perception of self-connection with their smartphones. It was found that in forming this connectivity, hedonic benefits offered by their mobile devices and applications were more important than utilitarian counterparts. There was difference between users of fashion-related applications and non-users when it came to how the benefits and cognitive costs influence on self-connection to the mobile devices. A group of non-users showed a lower level of fashion innovativeness than that of fashion application users. In this non-user group, the effect of playfulness benefit of applications on the self-connection became stronger when cognitive costs were highly perceived. In order to promote users to select fashion applications, it is important to encourage them to use their efforts to obtain knowledge and services so that they can learn ifs flow, besides the fun and excitement that the application can give to such users. However, for the fashion application using group that showed a high level of fashion innovation, it was shown that information fulfillment and social connectivity were the two factors that significantly influenced on creating relationships with mobile devices. This indicates that the relationship with the mobile devices is important not because of the mobile device itself, but because of the information power and social communication features offered by the device. This study is useful in that it further explained an innovative product`s uses by analyzing it and its services and, more importantly, users` experiences with them. Also by comparing fashion application users and non-users in their relationships with their devices, this paper provided insight on how these advanced mobile phones and their services are used among fashion people, the major marketing target for the fashion industry. Based on the work of this study, relations between the users and various mobile devices, including smart phones, can be further investigated to make suggestions for continued uses of mobile services.

      • Smart waste 및 환경정보 제공을 위한 주민참여형 애플리케이션 활용 연구

        기존의 단순 폐기 처리되던 폐기물인 waste는 스마트 정보통신의 활용으로 위치나 다양한 특성 정보를 부여받음으로써 ‘Smart waste’로 전환되어 관리될 수 있다. Smart waste로의 전환으로 폐자원들의 효율적인 관리가 가능하고, 주민이 직접 참여하는 자원순환 문화 조성이 가능할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 자원순환 및 환경정보 제공을 위한 애플리케이션의 동향을 분석하고, 애플리케이션 및 웹사이트 사용자 분석을 통한 개선 방안을 도출하였다. 또한 실시간 빅데이터 구축을 활용한 공공기관 정보 플랫폼 연계 방안을 검토하고, 주민 참여 및 애플리케이션·웹사이트 활용성 확대 방안을 검토하였다. 다양한 환경정보의 제공과 주민들의 참여확대는 환경정책의 효율성을 향상할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 선행연구에서는 ① 폐기물 관리에서 모바일 애플리케이션 활용 연구, ② 모바일 애플리케이션에서 제공하는 환경정보와 개선 방안 연구, ③ 애플리케이션 실제 활용도 조사 연구 ④ 정보의 제공과 이로 인한 사용자 행동변화 연구, ⑤ 사용자 맞춤형 정보 서비스 제공 방안에 대한 연구 등 다양한 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 또한 스마트 정보통신을 이용한 환경정보 활용 사례는 자원순환 또는 환경정보 관련 애플리케이션 사례, 환경활동 주민참여 사례 등으로 분류하여 파악하였다. 애플리케이션은 크게 ① 정보제공형, ② 민원해결형, ③ 인센티브형, ④ 창작 활동형으로 분류하고 각각의 사례를 조사하였다. 주민참여 활동으로는 ① 기후변화방지를 위한 캠페인, ② 우리 동네의 환경문제 찾기, ③ 사물인터넷 활용 분리수거함의 이용, ④인공지능 활용 쓰레기통의 이용에 대하여 각각 사례를 분석하였다. 환경정보 활용에 관한 사용자 분석을 위하여 150인을 대상으로 애플리케이션 및 웹사이트에 대한 설문조사를 수행하였다. 사용자 경험을 평가하기 위하여 허니콤 모델을 선정하였으며, 환경정보의 특성을 감안하여 총 5가지 측면(유용성, 사용성, 가치성, 접근성, 검색성)의 평가요소를 선정하였다. 또한 환경정보로서 애플리케이션이나 웹사이트에서 제공받고 싶은 분야 및 분야별(자원순환·수질·대기질)로 제공받고 싶은 콘텐츠를 조사하였다. 설문조사 결과, 전체 응답자의 47.3%는 애플리케이션 혹은 웹사이트를 활용한 경험이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 기존 애플리케이션 또는 웹사이트 사용자 경험 평가에서 88.7%가 유용하다고 응답하였으며, 78.9%가 사용하기 편리하다고 응답하였다. 70.4%는 정보를 검색하는 과정이 편리하다고 응답하였으며, 80.3%가 서비스를 쉽게 찾을 수 있는 접근성이 있다고 응답하였다. 서비스를 지속적으로 활용할 의사에 대해서는 84.5%가 긍정적인 응답을 하여 기존에 이용한 애플리케이션 또는 웹사이트의 가치성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 한편 환경정보 관련 애플리케이션이나 웹사이트의 미활용자(전체응답자의 52.7%)의 86.1%는 서비스 제공 사실을 몰라서 활용 경험이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 조사에서 응답자들은 향후 제공받고 싶은 애플리케이션 환경정보로 대기질(62.7%), 자원순환(19.3%), 수질(14.7%) 분야의 순으로 응답했으며, 웹사이트 환경정보로 대기질(48.0%), 자원순환(24.0%), 수질(22.7%) 분야의 순으로 제공받기를 원했다. 이러한 설문조사 결과는 애플리케이션 및 웹서비스의 콘텐츠 및 대시보드 구성 방안에도 활용되었다. 실시간 빅데이터 구축을 통한 공공기관 정보 플랫폼 연계 방안을 검토하기 위하여 스마트 도시폐기물 관리 사례와 실시간 정보 제공형 대시보드 운영 사례를 분석하였다. 서울특별시와 고양시에서는 태양광 압축 쓰레기통 등을 설치하고 이를 클린시티 네트워크(CCN: Clean City Network)를 통하여 실시간으로 모니터링하고 있다. 이러한 쓰레기통에는 통신모듈이 설치되어 있어 쓰레기통이 차거나 특별한 사항이 발생하면 서버와 통신하여 관리자에게 관련사항이 전송된다. 현재 웹사이트 기반 플랫폼 연계 애플리케이션 운영 방식은 실시간 운영 현황이 데이터로 송신 및 송출은 가능하나 실시간 빅데이터로 구축되지는 않은 것으로 조사되었다. 대시보드 운영 현황으로는 영국 및 미국 EPA의 사례를 살펴보았다. 영국에서는 기상·대기오염정보 등을 제공하고 있었으며, 미국 EPA에서는 유해폐기물 관련 현황과 성과에 대한 대시보드를 운영 중인 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구내용을 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 자원순환·수질·대기질 분야에 대한 애플리케이션과 웹사이트의 콘텐츠 구축 방안을 각각 제시하였다. 또한 사용자 경험 평가 결과를 바탕으로 나타난 우선순위별 애플리케이션·웹사이트 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 그리고 주민참여 확대를 위한 방안을 ① 홍보 확대, ② 주민보상 강화, ③ 쉬운 서비스 접근 및 활용, ④제도 개선 등으로 나누어 제시하였다. 애플리케이션 개발 콘텐츠 및 빅데이터 연계 운영 방안을 검토한 결과, 사용자는 실시간· 위치기반 정보를 제공하고, 정부와 지자체는 이를 빅데이터로 구축·활용할 수 있으며, 민간기업은 경제적 인센티브를 제공하고 홍보하는 것으로서 참여할 수 있을 것이다. 마지막으로 본 연구에서는 환경정보 제공형 대시보드의 구축 방안을 검토하였다. 기존의 사례에서 검토된 기상정보 외에 자원순환·수질·대기 분야 등의 정보를 함께 제공할 수 있으며, 정보 제공에 필요한 자료들은 기상청, 환경부, 실시간수질정보시스템, 에어코리아 등과 연계할 수 있을 것이다. Waste, which has been simply disposed of so far, can be managed as 'smart waste' by tagging information on its location and characteristics using the smart information communication technology. By converting waste into smart waste, it becomes possible to manage waste resources efficiently and to create a resource circulation culture that can involve the direct participation of the residents. This study explores the applicability of the smart waste technology in Korea by analyzing the trend in mobile applications related to resource circulation and environmental information, and proposes strategies to improve contents and usage of the domestic environment-related applications and websites based on a user experience survey. In extension, the study explores the possibility of building and utilizing real-time big data in connection to the multiple platforms operated by the public institutions and the strategies to increase users and user participation on the mobile and web-based platforms. The study anticipates that the greater availability of environmental information and active user participation will improve the efficiency of the environmental policies. Previous literature has studied the use of environment-related mobile applications from various perspectives, such as 1) the use of mobile apps for waste management, 2) the contents of these mobile apps and measures for improvement, 3) the usage and utility of the mobile apps, 4) the effects of the higher access to environmental information through the mobile apps on user behavior and 5) the methods for improving the selective search and extraction of environmental information on these platforms. In addition to a literature review, this study presents case studies on how the environmental information provided through smart technology have been utilized in terms of mobile applications for resource circulation and environmental information, and the use of mobile and web-based platforms to induce participation in environmental activities. In doing so, the study categorize the mobile applications for resource circulation and environmental information into four types (information-sharing, complaint-resolving, incentive and creative activity) and presents examples for each application type. The case studies presented for the promotion of environmental activity participation include: 1) the “350 Campaign for Mitigating Climate Change”, 2) the “Environmental Issues in My Neighborhood” campaign, 3) the recycling campaign using Internet-of-Things recycling boxes and 4) the installation of artificial intelligence garbage cans for cans and PET bottles. The user experience survey conducted in this study aims to analyze the user behavior in utilizing the environmental information provided by existing environment-related mobile applications. The survey conducted 150 respondents, and the honeycomb model was used to evaluate the user experience based on five factors (useful, usable, findable, accessible and valuable) that reflect the characteristics of environmental information. The survey also included a questionnaire on the environment information contents of which the respondents wish to see on environment-related applications and websites in terms of their field of interest and specific contents related to resource circulation, water quality and air quality. The survey results show that only 47.3% of the respondents experienced using existing applications or websites. 88.7% of the users felt that existing applications and websites were useful and 78.9% replied that they were easy to use. 70.4% of the respondents thought that it was easy to search for information and 80.3% responded that the applications and websites provide easy access to services. 84.5% showed the intention to use the service in the future, implying that the application or website they use has high value. On the other hand, it was found that 52.7% of the respondents had no experience using environment-related applications or websites, and the predominant reason that prevented them from using the platforms was the lack of knowledge about the service (86.1%). Also, when asked to choose the environmental information they wish to receive through the mobile application, the respondents favored air quality the most (62.7%), then resource circulation (19.3%) and water quality (14.7%); and the preference found for websites was also in the order of air quality (48.0%), resource circulation (24.0%) and water quality (22.7%). The survey results were used as a reference in our proposal for improving the contents of the mobile applications and websites and the operation of dashboards presented in this study. In reviewing the possibility of building and using real-time big data in connection to the existing platforms of public institutions, the study performs case studies on smart city waste management and the operation of dashboards that provide real-time information. Seoul Metropolitan City and Goyang City have installed solar photovoltaic waste bins and have been monitoring them in real-time through a platform called the Clean City Network (CCN). The bins are equipped with a communication module which allow server to alert the manager when the bins are full or at the occurrence of any irregular events. The study finds that although such applications or web-based platforms are able to send or receive real-time information, they do not build real-time big data. Regarding dashboards, the cases of the United Kingdom (UK) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) are presented in this study. In the UK, dashboards are utilized to provide weather and air pollution information, and the US EPA operates a dashboard that provides real-time information on the hazardous waste. Based on the analyses and case studies conducted, the study presents separate proposals for developing environment-related applications by application type and web-platforms for providing information on resource circulation, water quality and air quality, and suggests strategies to promote the active utilization of environment-related applications and websites. Also, the study elaborates the suggestions for increasing users and user involvement on these platforms, which include 1) greater public relations and promotional efforts, 2) higher incentive for residents, 3) greater accessibility and usability of the services and 4) improvements in related regulations and institutional systems. From our evaluation of the possible construction of real-time big data that connects to the existing platforms, the study suggests that it is possible to create a system that users provide the real-time and location-based information by complying with big data from central and local governments. The participating private sector provides economic incentives for user participation and promoting the applications. Lastly, the study suggests a plan for an environmental information dashboard. In addition to providing weather information as in our case study, the study proposes that the dashboard also includes information on resource circulation, water quality and air quality by linking with the Korea Meteorological Administration, the Ministry of Environment, real-time water quality information system and Air Korea for the necessary data.

      • Development of the Graphical User Interface of Mobile Application for Remote Control Using Wireless Communications

        The single most important concept to master when designing mobile device interfaces is "context". The context in which an application is used and the context of how information is input are both key issues; each must be understood before a well-crafted design may be implemented. When these two notions of context are explored, it becomes clear that designing for a mobile device can lead to a solution that is worlds different than its desktop equivalent. In this paper, we developed a graphical user interface of mobile application to control a digital audio system remotely. Most significantly, this remote control mobile application for the control of digital audio must be able to control many channels simultaneously. The number of input channels is 4 and the number of output is 8. Also, it has a lot of graphical components and has many kinds of components that are controlled by the mobile application. It creates an experience especially for many users of digital audio, allowing the user to interact with the software for digital audio operation in a natural and intuitive way. As a result, we implemented the mobile application interface of digital audio to provide a user-friendly experience. An efficient memory management is also necessary in order to execute the operation for the remote control and hard cording is needed on the mobile application. To solve that problem, a GridLayout was used. As a result, the screen size is not problem in operating the mobile application on android.

        항공관련 모바일 앱의 이용현황과 이용의도에 관한 연구

        2014년 10월 기준 우리나라의 스마트폰 보급대수가 4,012만대를 넘어서고 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 모바일 앱이 등장하면서 모바일 앱은 우리 생활 전반에 지대한 영향을 미치고 있으며, 많은 기업이나 브랜드가 모바일 앱 서비스를 제공하면서 새로운 마케팅 수단으로 그 중요성이 커지고 있다. 그러나 이러한 관심과 중요성에도 불구하고 항공관련 분야에서 모바일 앱을 마케팅적 관점에서 바라본 연구는 아직까지 상당히 미흡한 실정이다. 모바일 앱은 유비쿼터스적인 사용의 편리성과 접근성, 높은 사용자통제성 등으로 인해 많은 소비자들이 빠르게 서비스를 수용하고 습득하며 확산되는 특징이 있기에 고객획득과 유지, 충성도 제고를 기대하는 기업에게 있어서 매우 유용한 마케팅 수단이 될 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 모바일 앱의 개념과 특성을 파악하고, 이를 통해 모바일 앱의 만족도와 이용의도에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지를 밝히고자 한다. 항공과 관광 관련 모바일 서비스 등에 대한 선행연구에 기초해 모바일 앱의 특성으로 기술수용모델 (TAM)에서 많이 사용되어온 지각된 유용성, 지각된 용이성, 상호작용성을 제시하였고 이들이 모바일앱 서비스에 대한 만족도와 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 지를 실증적으로 검증하였다. 연구의 결과, 모바일 앱의 지각된 유용성은 만족도와 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 모바일 앱에 대한 지각된 용이성 역시 만족도와 이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편, 모바일 앱의 상호작용성은 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치나, 이용의도에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구 결과는 몇 가지 마케팅적 함의를 제공하고 있는데, 먼저 모바일 앱의 유용성의 소비자들이 강하게 지각할 수 있도록 설계하는 것이 중요하며 지각된 용이성, 즉 사용편리성을 제고하기 위해 인터페이스나 디자인 등에 소비자의견을 최대한 반영하는 노력이 필요하며 소비자와의 상호작용성에 대한 고려도 충분히 되어야 한다는 실무적 시사점을 제시한다고 하겠다. The total number of smartphone in domestic market goes beyond 40million in 2014. During the last few years, there have been attempts of firms to enhance their company loyalty or brand loyalty by means of smartphone application as consumers`` adoption and usage of smartphone application grows rapidly. Mobile application in smartphone is defined as software used in mobile device where user and the content of the software can interact. Though mobile application is popular ways for marketing and customer service in airline industry, the study for mobile application is quite few. The purpose of this study is to identify the concept and characteristics of mobile application in airline industry, and to examine how these factors influence on satisfaction and intention to use for mobile application. From the previous study, Firstly, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, interactivity are identified as characteristics of mobile application. These three factors have been discussed a lot in the field of TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) study for a long time. This study identified that these factors could been adopted to new technology like mobile application. As the result of the empirical study for 205 samples from 20`` to 40``, Perceived usefulness influences satisfaction and intention to use for mobile application. Perceived ease of use and interactivity also influence satisfaction and intention to use for mobile application. With empirical results, some implications and suggestions for marketing and further study in airline industry are discussed.

      • An Effective Mobile Applications for Testing Strategies

        The effectivivity of test planning in Mobile Application testing improves the quality of Mobile Apps. In the reason of increasing numbers of smart phone applications and their progressive features, mobile phone or smart phone has become a primary resource of communication for worldwide business owners, industrial and office workers.. In fragmented and competitive global market the mobile development cycle is of short period. It is important that one should make sure that the experience every consumer every time they use your application, will be exceptional. Same to functional testing the non-functional testing like Security testing, usability testing also represents an important role effectivivity of test planning. The emergence of mobile applications gives computing environment to number of companies and platforms, but there are a number of companies and platforms that are not much advanced in mobile computing; for those companies and platforms, it has become a challenge to avail the functionality of the mobile application. We use UML diagrams in this represented paper in the form of a tree to extract, test cases to verify/validate the behavior of mobile objects. A new model based approach for automated generation of test cases for object oriented systems in this study is presented. Test cases are derived by analyzing the dynamic behavior of the objects due to internal and external stimuli. The scope of the paper has been limited to the object diagrams taken from the Unified Modeling Language model of the system. The genetic Algorithm’s tree crossover has been proposed to bring out all possible test cases of a given object diagram. Illustrative case study has been presented to create the effectiveness of our methodology coupled with mutation analysis. Mobile application testing presents matchless challenges. For each and every challenge that mobile devices face, there should be a proper mobile testing strategic plan.

        스마트폰 애플리케이션의 편의성과 지속사용의도에 관한 연구

        Mobile applications are being utilized in daily communication, on-line games, daily business, multi-media and so on. And they are also being used under some mobile environment. Particularly, among these applications, smart-phones have evoked a crucial difference when compared with previous mobile communication devices. Recently, some of their applications in public taxi area have been invented and utilized nationwide, but there are few applications broadly utilized and popularized except for Cacao taxi application in the domestic taxi area. In addition, even though some of papers with regard to the convenience to some mobile applications have been published so far, but there still haven’t been enough papers on the convenience to mobile taxi applications. This research aims to analyze this fact widely, into 3 parts ; multi-dimensional convenience to cacao-taxi application and users’ satisfaction with the application, relationship between their satisfaction with the application and trust in the taxi service, and influence of trust in the taxi service on users’ intention of continuously using the application. For the empirical analysis, the data collected from 469 respondents who stay in Seoul, Kyonggi province, and Jeju, were applied to this analysis. These findings are indicated into three parts. First, all of the convenience to taxi application was related to users’ positive satisfaction with the application as expected. Second, satisfaction with the application had statistically positive impacts on the trust in taxi service and the application itself. Third, these trusts were closely associated with continuous use of the application attached. As a result, these findings can contribute to expanding the research area of convenience to the applications.

        The number of mobile application development projects appeared to be one of the fastest on the planet that rapidly grows to be highly competitive and the state of this becomes imaginable and unfathomable to deliberate. As smartphones invade everything from business to education to medical to homes, when everything around us revolves in mobile platforms, we tend to ask questions about how is it possible for mobiles to increase popularity and demand for mobile applications? While there are numbers of mobile applications, there are still issues that need to be polished. There is a need of a systematic process of mobile app development that aims to maximize fault detection, making results exceptional to use and may help software developers become reliable to with the approaches and techniques they are using. This study discusses the use of mobile applications and the rapid growth in the mobile app industry. This study presents a mobile development process spiral method. Here, the authors explained the first to fifth iteration. There are many development methodologies that developers can follow, but the authors believe that spiral method is simplified and effective for developing a mobile application. As the mobile application development is changing the way software developers do their best practices for the best mobile apps in keeping their customers engaged in to them and by delivering the best app there is, the most important thing for our software developers is to develop a high quality app that is not only functional but definitely a progressive one.
