<P>We introduce Square, a text entry device in the form of a small square button. Conceptually, it is equivalent to a 3times3 keypad since the nine geometric elements of a square - four vertices, four edges, and a face - play the part of the nine keys of a 3times3 keypad. Being small and simple, Square can allow more freedom to the design of a mobile device. In addition, it is better for blind typing than a keypad due to the distinct tactile properties of the different elements of a square button.</P>

We aim to investigate the effect of fronto-temporal transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) on the interactions among functional networks and its association with psychotic symptoms. In this pilot study, we will determine possible candidate functional networks and an adequate sample size for future research. Seven schizophrenia patients with treatment-refractory auditory hallucinations underwent tDCS twice daily for 5 days. Resting-state fMRI data and measures of the severity of psychotic symptoms were acquired at baseline and after completion of the tDCS sessions. At baseline, decreased functional network interaction was negatively correlated with increased hallucinatory behavior. After tDCS, the previously reduced functional network connectivity significantly increased. Our results showed that fronto-temporal tDCS could possibly remediate aberrant hallucination-related functional network interactions in patients with schizophrenia.

현재의 망 관리 모델의 대부분은 사용에 대한 관리자의 방대한 경험과 지식이 필요하며 관리 정보 설정의 지역적 한계가 있다는 문제점이 있다. 더구나 현재 널리 사용되고 있는 몇 가지 관리 기술들은 서로 다른 관리 정보 모델을 정의하여 사용하거나 다른 관리 프로토콜을 사용하여 통신하므로 호환성을 가지지 못한다. 따라서 관리자들은 자신이 관리하는 시스템이나 네트워크에서 지원하는 관리 기술에 따라 여러 가지 관리 도구들을 혼용해야만 하고, 이것은 관리자에게 큰 부담이 되고 있다. 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위해 망 관리 기술에 웹 기술이나 자바와 같은 새로운 인터넷 기반 기술들을 도입하는 시도가 이루이지고 있으며, 이러한 접근 방법을 ‘웹 기반 관리 기술’이라 한다. 본 논문에서는 보다 간편하고 효율적인 망 관리를 위해 웹 기반 망 관리 기술을 소개하고 설계한다. 이 기술은 웹 브라우저를 이용하여 망 관리를 함으로써 간단하면서도 친숙한 인터페이스, 언제 어디서든지 관리가 가능하며 모든 유형의 네트워크를 관리할 수 있다는 장점이 있다.

We study liberals and conservatives in the United States and Korea to see how they respond to charity advertising that appeals to either equality or proportionality. The findings robustly demonstrate that in both countries, liberals respond more favorably to equality appeals, but conservatives respond more favorably to proportionality appeals. Study 1, conducted in the United States, finds that liberals find equality appeals more effective, but conservatives find proportionality appeals more effective. Study 2, conducted in Korea, shows that liberals (conservatives) estimate that they are more (less) likely to receive rewards for donating when charity advertising uses equality rather than proportionality appeals.

In this study, we determined the effect of controlling rice weevils on the mycoflora of stored brown rice by using Anisopteromalus calandrae (Howard), a parasite of the rice weevil. The mycoflora in brown rice with the parasitoid was similar to that without the parasitoid; however, the dominant mold species differed. Without the parasitoid, Aspergillus candidus Link and Penicillium islandicum Sopp were the dominant species, whereas Aspergillus penicilloides Speg. and P. islandicum were dominant when the parasitoid was present. The difference appeared to be due mainly to the difference in the grain moisture content with and without the parasitoid. A. candidus was the dominant species in the communities without the parasitoid and was not observed when the weevils were suppressed. P. islandicum dominated or co-dominated regardless of the presence of the parasitoid which suggested that P. islandicum is tolerant to low grain moisture content or is positively affected by the presence of the rice weevil.

A Study on Bandgap Reference Circuit With Leakage-Based PTAT Generation

<P>This paper presents detailed analyses on leakage-based bandgap reference (BGR) circuit for ultralow-power applications. Design considerations for power supply rejection ratio and noise characteristics are provided with pole/zero analysis. Startup settling issue is also discussed with measurements. For verification, a test BGR circuit is implemented in a 0.18- <TEX>$\mu \text{m}$</TEX> CMOS technology. The standard deviation of proportional-to-absolute-temperature (PTAT) voltages measured from 20 chips is 1.15% at 30 °C. The BGR also uses two PTAT voltages to reduce the resistance for complementary-to-absolute-temperature generation, hence alleviating the tradeoff limitation between power consumption and area cost. With an active area of 0.056 mm<SUP>2</SUP>, the BGR consumes 19 nW at room temperature. Measurements from 20 chips show a standard deviation of 0.54% at 30 °C without any trimming, a temperature dependence of 143 ppm/°C and a line regulation of 2.4%/V.</P>
고속 회전하는 RAP(Rocket Assisted Projectile)의 추력 및 유동 특성에 관한 연구

고속 회전하는 로켓보조추진탄의 로켓 추진 유동특성을 수치해석적으로 연구하였다. 회전지상연소시험을 통해 연소실 내부 압력을 계측하였고 지상 조건, 작동 고도 조건, 기저부 압력 조건의 노즐압력비를 적용하여 수치해석을 수행하였다. 그리고 수치해석 결과를 등엔트로피 1차원 해와 지상회전시험 결과와 비교 하였다. 또한 동일 노즐압력비에서 유동의 회전 유/무에 따른 추력특성의 차이를 확인하였다. In this paper, a numerical study has been performed to analyze flow characteristics of rocket propulsion. Through the ground spin test, combustion chamber pressure was measured. Based on the experimental results, numerical analysis was conducted under various nozzle pressure ratio conditions such as standard, operating and base pressure conditions. And it was compared with quasi-1D solution and experimental result. In addition, the difference in thrust characteristics according to the spin/non-spin of the flow conditions was confirmed at the same nozzle pressure ratio.
