        구성주의적 학습 원리가 적용된 미술관의 어린이 온라인 플랫폼

        (연구배경 및 목적) 박물관, 미술관과 같은 문화예술기관은 전시와 교육 프로그램을 통해 사회에 예술적 가치를 향유할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고 사람들의 창의성을 향상시킨다. 이러한 박물관에 방문하는 사람들은 일반 성인, 청소년, 노인에서 어린이까지 전 세대에 걸친 사람들이다. 방문자의 이해도와 관심의 수준이 매우 폭넓기 때문에, 박물관의 전시와 교육은 어떻게 모두에게 적합한 소통을 할 수 있을지 고민해야 한다. 특히 디지털 접근이 활발해진 동시대적 필요를 고려하고, 구성주의적 학습이 중요한 어린이를 고려하여, 미술관의 어린이 온라인 플랫폼이 교육적 목적을 위해 어떻게 디자인 되어야 하는지 파악하고자 한다. 본 연구는 구성주의적 학습 이론을 바탕으로 도출된 원칙들을 박물관 전시에 적용할 것을 주장하면서, 이를 어린이 온라인 플랫폼 디자인에 구현하는 방법을 찾는 것을 목적으로 한다. (연구방법) 본 연구는 소통 작동을 구성주의적으로 파악한 루만(Luhmann)의 정의를 바탕으로, 구성주의적 교육방법을 설명한 하인(Hein)의 연구, 그리고 박물관의 구성주의적 전시를 주장한 후퍼-그린힐(Hooper-Greenhill)의 연구를 고찰한다. 또한, 여러 소통 방해물들과 방문객의 주의력이 검토되었다. 직접조사로, 글로벌 전시디자이너 인터뷰를 진행하였으며, 결과적으로 우수한 구성주의적 학습을 유도하는 전시디자인의 원칙을 도출하였다. 이후, 두 가지의 적용 사례조사가 뒤따랐다. 메트로폴리탄 뮤지엄의 메트키즈(MetKids), 테이트 모던의 테이트키즈(TateKids)라는 두 플랫폼을 중심으로 이 원칙이 어떠한 디자인 방법으로 전개되었는지 조사하였다. (결과) 구성주의적 원칙은 소통의 정보, 통보, 해석의 과정에 맞추어 정리될 수 있다. 첫째, 타겟 메시지는 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 정보의 구조를 통해 구성되어야 한다. 또한, 사용자에게 친근한 감성적 메타포 등을 활용한다. 둘째, 전시에서는 동기를 유발하고, 여러 수준과 방식의 경험 기회를 제공하며, 주의력을 돕는다. 셋째, 관람자의 해석이 활발해 지도록 사회적 상호작용을 강화한다. 넷째, 의미가 발견되고 학습된 생각은 후속학습을 유발한다. (결론) 결론적으로, 뮤지엄의 전시 및 교육은 다양한 연령층을 위해 제공되는 소통으로, 구성주의적 학습의 원칙이 적용될 필요가 있다. 이는 현장 전시 및 교육 프로그램뿐 아니라 온라인 플랫폼에서도 동일하게 확장, 활용될 수 있다. 구성주의 학습 원리는 다양한 설계 방향을 통해 구현될 수 있으며, 여기에는 첫째, 전체를 하나로 묶는 문장이나 메타포, 둘째, 학습이 역동적으로 순환되는 구조, 셋째, 방문객의 관심사를 박물관의 내용과 연결시키기, 넷째, 정보 선택의 주도권을 제공하기, 다섯째, 원근법을 유도하는 상호작용이 포함된다. 따라서, 이러한 디자인 방향을 참고함으로써, 박물관은 그들 자신의 콘텐츠를 이용하여 구성주의 학습 플랫폼을 구축할 수 있다. (Background and Purpose) Culture and artistic institutions such as museums and art galleries provide opportunities to people to enjoy artistic value in society through exhibitions and educational programs to enhance their creativity. Visitors to these museums are people of all ages, from elderly, adults, teenagers, to children. Since the level of understanding and interest of visitors is so varied, the exhibitions and programs should be considered on how to communicate with everyone. In particular, taking into account the contemporary need for active digital access, and considering children for whom constructivist learning is important, it attempts to understand how the online platform for children in museums should be designed for educational purposes. The purpose of this study is to find a way to implement these principles in the online platform design for children while advocating to apply the principles derived from museum exhibitions through a constructivist learning theory. (Method) Based on Luhmann's definition of communication operation as constructivist, this study examines Hein's work explaining the method of constructivist education, and Hooper-Greenhill's work claiming constructivist exhibitions in museums. In addition, various communication obstacles and visitors' attention were reviewed. For primary research, interviews with a global exhibition designer were conducted, and as a result, the principles of exhibition design that induce excellent constructivist learning were extracted. Later, two case studies followed with MetKids of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and TateKids of Tate Modern in order to examine how these principles were developed. (Results) Constructivist principles can be arranged in line with the communication process of information, utterance and interpretation. First, target messages should be structured through an easily understandable structure. It also utilizes emotional metaphors that are familiar to users. Second, an exhibition creates motivation, provides experience opportunities for different levels and styles, and helps attention. Third, social interaction is strengthened to encourage viewers' interpretation. Fourth, the idea of meaning discovered and learned leads to follow-up learning. (Conclusions) In conclusion, the exhibitions and programs in a museum is a communication provided for various age groups, and the principle of constructivist learning needs to be applied. This can be equally expanded and utilized in online platforms as well as in on-site exhibitions and education programs. Constructivist learning principles can be implemented through various design directions. These include 5 elements as follows: a sentence or metaphor that unites the whole, structure in which learning is dynamically circulated, linking visitors' interests to the contents of a museum, providing the initiative in information selection, and interaction that induces perspective. Therefore, by referring to these design directions, museums can build a constructivist learning platform using their own contents.

        Validation of the Short Form of the Mood Instability Questionnaire-Trait (MIQ-T-SF) in the Korean General Population

        Objective Mood instability (MI) is a clinically significant trait associated with psychiatric disorders. However, there are no concise measurements to evaluate MI. The initial Mood Instability Questionnaire-Trait (MIQ-T) was developed to fill this gap. The current study aimed to create a short form of MIQ-T (MIQ-T-SF) that measures MI with high validity and reliability in the Korean general population.Methods Of the 59 items in the MIQ-T, 17 items were chosen for the MIQ-T-SF following the factor analysis process. In total, 540 participants completed the MIQ-T-SF. Cronbach’s alpha and McDonald’s omega were used to evaluate reliability. Exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) were used to determine construct validity. Concurrent validity was confirmed via comparisons with Personality Assessment Inventory-Borderline Features Scale. Measurement invariance across gender and age groups was confirmed before analyzing differences in scores using Kruskal-Wallis test.Results The MIQ-T-SF displayed expected correlations and high internal consistency (α=0.71–0.90, Ωt=0.72–0.92). Using EFA and CFA, a five-factor structure was confirmed. Measurement invariance was supported, and gender differences were observed.Conclusion The MIQ-T-SF is an accurate and reliable method to detect MI in the Korean general population. The study’s results offer new perspectives for future studies on MI.

        Hematology and Serum Chemistry Values of Growing Miniature Pigs

        본 실험의 목표는 미니돼지에서 성성숙 전까지의 성장단계에서 혈액성분을 조사하는 것이다. 12마리 돼지를 이용하여 정맥에서 채혈하였다. 전혈과 혈청을 사용하여 혈액 및 혈액 화학치를 분석하였다. 그리고 성장단계별의 조사에서 각 성분은 평균과 표준편차로 나타내었다. 혈액분석에서 적혈구와 적혈구용적 그리고 혈소판에서 유의치 있는 변화가 있었다. 특히 적혈구와 적혈구용적은 4주령 군에서 가장 낮은 수치를, 반면에 혈소판은 4주령에서 가장 높은 수치를 보였다. 혈액 화학치에서는 glucose, GGT에서 유의치 있는 변화가 있었으며, 나머지 성분에서는 유의치 있는 변화가 없었다. 이러한 기본적인 혈액 및 혈액 화학치는 미니돼지의 정상 혈액학 연구와 그리고 성장단계별 이른 시기에 정상돼지를 판별하는데 유용하리라 생각된다. The purpose of this study was to establish blood reference values for miniature pigs from various growth ages before pre-puberty. 12 miniature pigs from two swine farms were sampled by jugular venipuncture. Routine hematological and biochemical determinations were performed using whole blood and serum. For the variables examined in each age group the means and the standard deviations were calculated. In hematological values, there are significant changes (p<0.05) in RBC, hematocrit and platelet values in each group. In RBC and hematocrit values, 4-week group shows the lowest level, whereas in platelet values, 4-week group shows the highest level. In biochemical values, there are significant chnges (p<0.05) in glucose and GGT in each group, and in other biochemical values there are no significant changes during growing periods. The values presented here may be useful for knowing the normal values for miniature pigs and also screening the normal pigs in the early days of their life and during the developemental stages.

      • Gender Differences in Job Stress and Stress Coping Strategies among Korean Nurses

        Gender differences among nursing professionals were investigated in the area of job stress and stress coping strategies. Seventy six male nurses and 93 female nurses from 3 general hospitals were participated in this study. Korean job stress measurement developed by Chang (2005) and stress coping measurement modified by Yim (1994) were used. Using SPSS 22.0 program, gender differences in the level of job stress and coping strategies were compared by frequency, percentage, and independent t-test. Furthermore, the level of job stress and coping strategies according to the duration of work experience between male and female nurses were compared. The overall levels of job stress were significantly higher among male nurses than female nurses. In specific, the stress level from interpersonal conflict was higher among male nurses. According to duration of work, male nurses working more than 5 years showed higher level of job stress than female nurses in the area of autonomy, interpersonal conflict, and lack of reward. For coping strategies, more male nurses working more than 5 years used challenging, emotion focused, and avoidant coping strategies. In conclusion, male nurses have more difficulties in interpersonal conflicts than female nurses. The longer male nurses worked, the higher and broader their job stress level became. Therefore, specific continuing education program only for male nurses should be developed and implemented.

        Quantitative microbial risk assessment of Vibrio parahaemolyticus foodborne illness of sea squirt (Halocynthia roretzi) in South Korea

        The annual consumption of fishery products, particularly sea squirt (Halocynthia roretzi), per person has steadily increased in South Korea. However, the quantitative risk of Vibrio parahaemolyticus following intake of sea squirt has not been analyzed. This study focuses on quantitative predictions of the probability of consuming sea squirt and getting of V. parahaemolyticus foodborne illness. The prevalence of V. parahaemolyticus in sea squirt was evaluated, and the time spent by sea squirt in transportation vehicles, market displays, and home refrigerators, in addition to the temperature of each of these, were recorded. The data were fitted to the @RISK program to obtain a probability distribution. Predictive models were developed to determine the fate of V. parahaemolyticus under distribution conditions. A simulation model was prepared based on experimental data, and a dose-response model for V. parahaemolyticus was prepared using data from literature to estimate infection risk. V. parahaemolyticus contamination was detected in 6 of 35 (17.1%) sea squirt samples. The daily consumption quantity of sea squirt was 62.14 g per person, and the consumption frequency was 0.28%. The average probability of V. parahaemolyticus foodborne illness following sea squirt consumption per person per day was 4.03 × 10<sup>-9</sup>. The objective of this study was to evaluate the risk of foodborne illness caused by Vibrio parahaemolyticus following sea squirt consumption in South Korea.

        CT characteristics of normal canine pulmonary arteries and evaluation of optimal contrast delivery methods in CT pulmonary angiography

        This study was performed to identify the normal anatomic orientation of pulmonary arteries and to obtain the normal baseline parameters and the optimal contrast material delivery methods of computed tomographic pulmonary angiography (CTPA) on normal beagle dogs. Based on the contrast injection flow rate, the contrast volume, and the administration methods, the experimental groups were divided into 4 groups such as group 1 : 2 ml/s, 3 ml/kg, and monophasic administration; group 2 : 5 ml/s, 3 ml/kg, and monophasic administration; group 3 : 5 ml/s, 4 ml/kg, and monophasic administration; group 4 : 5 ml/s and 2 ml/kg in first phase, 0.3 ml/s and 2 ml/kg in second phase, as biphasic administration. Normal anatomic orientation of pulmonary arteries in CTPA was evaluated through reformatted and 3D images after retro-reconstruction. Normal parameters for great arteries and peripheral pulmonary arteries were obtained on the factor of basement hounsfield unit (HU) values, contrast enhanced HU values, delay time, and peak time. And the optimal contrast delivery methods were evaluated on the factor of contrast enhanced HU values, image quality, and artifact. The monophasic administration with 5 ml/s contrast injection flow rate and 3 ml/kg contrast volume was optimal in canine CTPA.
