Muscle fatigue is a symptom that decreases your muscles’ ability to perform over time. It can be associated with a state of exhaustion, often following excessive sports activity or exercise. While exercise is a common cause of muscle fatigue, this symptom can be the result of other health conditions. Muscle fatigue caused by excessive activity limits activities of daily living and difficult to maintain a stable posture. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of stretching, icing, and sports massage on muscle fatigue recovery.

Introduction: Aminoacyl t-RNA synthetase-interacting multi-functional proteins(AIMPs) are scaffolding protein required for the assembly of the macromolecular t-RNA synthetase complex, forming multisynthetase complex(MSC). Alternative spliced variant lacking exon 2 of AIMP2(AIMP2-DX2) compromises the tumor suppressive activity of AIMP2. We investigated the expression of AIMP2-DX2 and its clinical implications in NSCLC. Methods: The expression of AIMP2-DX2 was evaluated in mouse and surgical specimens from 174 patients with immunohistochemistry and immunoblotting Results: Among the organs from normal mouse, AIMP2-DX2 was most strongly expressed in enterocyte, and most weakly expressed in spleen. AIMP2-DX2 was detected more strongly in cancer tissue than in normal tissue of the mouse. Among 174 NSCLC tissues, high expression of AIMP2-DX2 in cytoplasm and nucleus was observed in 47.7% and 36.8%, respectively. Moreover, adenocarcinoma type showed more frequency of high expression in both cytoplasm and nucleus than squamous cell carcinoma. However, other clinical features and outcomes showed no differences between high and low expression. Among the 12 patients with NSCLC, 50% showed higher levels of AIMP2-DX2 in tumor tissues than in normal tissues, 17% showed similar levels, and 33% showed lower level. Conclusion: High expression or high protein level of AIMP2-DX2 were observed in about 50% of patients with NSCLCC. AIMP2-DX2 is mostly detected in cytoplasm of cancer cell. The key role of AIMP2-DX2 in tumorigenesis is remained to be more clarified in NSCLC.
Whole-Body Bone Scan Findings after High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) Treatment

Purpose This study aims to examine the findings of $^{99m}Tc$-diphosphonate bone scans in cancer patients with a history of HIFU treatment. Methods Bone scan images of patients with a history of HIFU treatment for primary or metastatic cancer from January 2006 to July 2010 were retrospectively reviewed. Cases of primary bone tumor or HIFU treatment reaching only the superficial soft tissue layer were excluded. Results Bone scan images of 62 patients (26 female, 36 male; mean age $57{\pm}9$ years) were studied. HIFU treatment was performed in the liver (n=40), pancreas (n=16), and breast (n=6). Mean interval time between HIFU treatment and bone scan was $106{\pm}105$ days (range: 1-572 days). Of 62 scans, 43 showed diffusely decreased uptake of bone within the path of HIFU treatment: antero-axillary and/or posterior arcs of right 5th to 11th ribs in 34 cases after treatment of hepatic lesions; anterior arcs of 2nd to 5th ribs in 5 cases after treatment for breast tumors; and posterior arcs of left 9th to 11th ribs or thoracolumbar vertebrae in 4 cases after treatment for pancreas tumor. Of 20 patients who had bone scans more than twice, five showed recovered uptake of the radiotracer in the involved ribs in the follow-up bone scan. Conclusion Of 62 bone scans in patients with a history of HIFU treatment for primary or metastatic cancer, 69% presented diffusely decreased uptake in the bone in the path of HIFU treatment.

This study empirically analyzes the uncanny valley effect on the horror movies characters. We adopt the concept of the perceived humanness and perceived eeriness used in previous researches. We also run facial recognition programs to verify the human-likeness, and we conduct a survey to illuminate the uncanny valley effect, fear, perceived humanness and perceived eeriness. In the case of the Microsoft Vision API, human-like types are recognized as humans, on the other hands, creature types are mostly detected as animals. The significance of the appearance elements is derived and this research proves that various factors other than the pursuit of realism influence the cognitive and emotional response to the uncanny valley effect. In the theoretical and practical level, the study not only provides meaningful implications for content creator, but also enhances the understanding of the uncanny valley effect for experts related to computer graphics, animation, visual effects in the near future.

This study analyzed the composition characteristics of rooms through the size of the 口-shaped house courtyard in Gyeonggi region based on Kim Hong-Siks survey data from 1971 to 2001. When looking at the type of floor plan of private houses in Korea, it can be seen that although the frequency is different, private houses in the 口-shaped plane are distributed nationwide. The room composition and arrangement form of the 口-shaped house differ depending on the region. Therefore, this study aims to derive the regional characteristics of the room composition through the size of the 口-shaped house courtyard.
