Local Ordering Study of Nanostructure FeMnAl Alloys
Tarigan, K.,Yong-Goo Yoo,Dong-Seok Yang,Greneche, J.M.,Seong-Cho Yu IEEE 2009 IEEE transactions on magnetics Vol.45 No.6
<P>Fe55Mn10Al35 alloys were prepared by mechanical alloying. Local ordering around the central atom was examined with milling time by using extended X-ray absorption fine structure. The structural and magnetic evolution was analyzed by EXAFS and Mossbauer study as a function of milling time. The first shell of the Fourier transformed spectra changed with milling time, indicating a change in the local ordering around the central Fe atom. X-ray diffraction patterns indicate a bcc phase after 24 h milling time. For 1 h milled sample, Mossbauer spectra analysed three sextets as bcc-Fe phase, broad sextet and Fe surrounded Al and Mn phase. The magnetization showed decrease with milling time corresponding to magnetic dilution.</P>

This research aims to examine the influence of road transportation infrastructure on the mobility of goods transport and the regional economy in Langkat Regency in Indonesia. This type of research is an associative and explanatory research whose data is obtained through a questionnaire survey. This study took a sample of 305 respondents using probability sampling in Langkat Regency, North Sumatera, Indonesia. Data analysis techniques use path analysis. The research results showed that the road transportation infrastructure variables had a significant and positive effect on the mobility of goods transport. Road transportation infrastructure and freight mobility simultaneously have a significant and positive effect on the economy of Langkat Regency. Road transportation infrastructure with the dimensions of road accessibility and maintenance partially directly has a significant and positive effect on the economy of the Langkat Regency. Road transportation infrastructure with the dimensions of road design and road construction quality partially does not have a direct effect on the regional economy, but has a positive and significant effect through the mobility of freight transport. The mobility of goods transport becomes an intervening variable that acts to mediate or determine the relationship between road transportation infrastructure variables to the regional economy.

This study investigated the key factors that explain the continuous usage intention of mobile payment users in the post COVID-19 pandemic era. Based on the health belief model (HBM) and communication privacy management (CPM) theory, this study examined how the five constructs of HBM influence mobile payments continuous usage intention through perceived privacy risk and perceived security. It also investigated the moderating role of perceived privacy awareness on the relationship between perceived privacy risk and continuous usage intention as well as the moderating role of information sensitivity on the relationship between perceived security and continuous usage intention.

The structural and the magnetic properties of nanocrystalline Fe50Al50 alloys prepared by using a mechanical alloying process (using commercial Fe and Al powders as precursors) were studied in detail as functions of the milling time for milling times ranging from 1 hr to 24 hrs. The structural analyses based on X-ray diffraction (XRD) and extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy (EXAFS) revealed that the alloying process took place after 12 hrs of milling. Using the Williamson-Hall plot, we found that the crystallite size decreased from to 220 to 14.3 nm while the strain increased from 5.32 × 10 −3 to 19 × 10 -3 when the milling time was varied from 1 hr to 24 hrs. Concerning the magnetic behavior, the data obtained from a superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) showed that both the magnetic saturation (Ms)and the coercivity (Hc) depended strongly on the milling time and that these dependence were related to changes in the crystallite size. With these results, we believe that by adjusting the milling time, we can obtain an appropriate structural transformation and appropriate magnetization values.

This study investigates the impact of ownership structures and audit quality on carbon emission disclosure. It also examines how audit quality affects the relationship between ownership structures and carbon emission disclosure. This research includes 106 standalone sustainability reports from non-financial companies that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) between 2015 and 2018. Our findings show that family and concentrated ownerships convey less information about carbon emissions. Our results fail to demonstrate that disclosure of carbon emissions could be a corporation’s approach to respond to stakeholder pressure and public visibility and to provide legitimacy for its existence. We also find a positive and significant association between high-quality (Big4) auditors and carbon emission performance. Our further result suggests that Big4 auditors seem to compromise their high standard quality on auditing family and concentrated ownership firms. They fail to influence their family and concentrated ownership clients to be socially responsible. Policymakers should support the existence of Big4 auditors as a driver of carbon emission performance. Top management should be proactive to tackle carbon emission issues by adopting stakeholder-driven mechanisms and establishing legitimacy with society. Nevertheless, the involvement of family and highly concentrated shareholders in decision-making processes and information disclosure should not be encouraged.

Nanocrystalline Fe90−xMn10Alx (x = 10, 20, 30, and 40) were prepared via mechanical alloyingby using Fe, Mn, and Al powders with a 48 hours milling time. The structural and the magneticproperties were studied. All X-ray diffraction peaks are broader and shifted to smaller angle withincreasing Al contents, depending on the crystalline size and the lattice parameter. All the samplesexhibit alloys behavior with an average crystallite size around 10 nm. The magnetic saturation, coercivity, and permeability obtained from measurements using a vibrating sample magnetometershowed strong dependences on the Al content and these dependences were related to changes in thestructure and the crystallite size. The hyperfine field obtained from M¨ossbauer spectroscopy variedwith the Fe content. These results suggest that, by adjusting Al, appropriate magnetization valuescan be obtained without affecting the coercivity and the structure of the bcc phase.

Introduction: Patient safety in hospitals is essential to improve the quality of health care services. Effective communication is an important part to influence quality improvement and maintaining patient safety. SBAR communication is a verbal communication tool between health professions and nursing practitioners in providing continuous nursing care or continuity of care. Purpose : This study examines the relationships between nurses" knowledge of the continuity of care and SBAR communication and nurses" perceptions of patient safety implementation at hospital X in Jakarta. Methods: The design of this study was correlative with a cross-sectional approach. The proportional random sampling was used to collect data from 156 nurses. The data collection has used a questionnaire consisting of a questionnaire focusing on the characteristics of nurses, SBAR communication and continuity of care knowledge, and nurses" perceptions on the implementation of patient safety. Questionnaires were distributed via Google forms. The data that has been obtained were analyzed using the Chi-Square test and logistic regression. Results: The multivariate model results showed that the variable that most affects nurses" perceptions on the implementation of patient safety is SBAR communication knowledge (p=0.036). Conclusion: It is recommended that improving nurses" knowledge in the continuity of care and SBAR communication can enhance patient safety.

Structural and magnetic properties of Fe??Mn?? nanocrystalline alloys prepared by the mechanical alloying technique (using commercial Fe and Mn powders as the precursors) are studied as a function of milling time, 1 hr to 48 hrs. The nano-crystallite size and shape are examined by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The effect of milling time on structural characterization was investigated using X-ray diffractometer (XRD) and extended X-ray absorption fine structure spectroscopy (EXAFS). Both XRD and EXAFS studies showed that the alloying process should be completed after 36 hrs milling. Concerning the magnetic behavior, the data obtained from superconducting quantum interference devices (SQUID) exhibited both magnetic saturation (Ms) and coercivity (Hc) depend strongly on the milling time, which are related to the changes in the crystallite size and magnetic dilution.
