한국 탐사보도 기자들의 소명의식과 실천에 대한 문화기술지 연구

이 연구는 탐사보도에서 소명의식은 필수조건인지, 탐사보도 기자들은 어떤 소명의식을 가지고 있는지, 가지고 있다면 소명의식을 구체적으로 어떻게 실천하는지 탐구했다. 이를 위해 막스 베버(Max Weber)가 주장한 ‘소명(Beruf)’ 개념을 이론으로 적용했다. 연구대상은 뉴스타파 취재팀이며, 연구방법은 참여관찰과 심층면담을 병행한 문화기술지이다. 연구 결과 첫째, 뉴스타파 기자들은 탐사보도에서 소명의식을 중요하다고 생각했다. 취재팀 내에서는 소명의식의 실재에서 차이가 발생했는데 아직 이렇다 할 소명의식을 형성하지 기자들은 직장에 대한 소속감 저하와 탐사보도 기자로서의 정체성에 혼란을 겪고 있었다. 둘째, 취재팀 내에서 ‘신념의 화신’으로 통하는 최경영과 한상진 기자의 경우 뉴스타파의 열린 뉴스 생산 방식 속에서 소명의식을 적극적으로 보도에 투영하고 있었다. 이들 보도의 특징은 ‘자신감을 바탕으로 한 집요함’이었다. 이들은 보도 건수나 취재력 등에서 취재팀 내에서 긍정적 평가를 받고 있었는데 성과의 원동력은 소명의식이었던 것으로 판단됐다. 셋째, 신념의 과잉으로 인한 오류가 관찰됐다. 최경영은 “가치저널리즘”을 추구하며 날카로운 비판 보도로 ‘선지자’의 모습을 보이기도 했지만, 때로는 자신의 시선이나 관점이 과다해 ‘광신도’의 모습도 보였다. 신념의 과잉은 사실의 과장, 적대적 공격, 그리고 ‘끼워넣기’ 등으로 나타났다. This research explored if the sense of calling is a necessary condition in investigative journalism, what kind of calling investigative journalists have, and how to carry out their calling if they have. The research subject was the news reporter team in Newstapa, and the research method was ethnography which concurrently performed participation observation and in - depth interview. Research results are as follows. First, news reporters thought that the sense of calling was important in investigative journalism. In news reporter team, there was a difference in the reality of the sense of calling, and the reporters who had not yet formed calling to do so were confused by the deterioration of belonging to the workplace and the identity of as investigative journalist. Second, Choi Kyoung-young and Han Sang-jin, who are considered ‘icon of calling’ in the team, were actively reflecting on their calling in their news stories using the open-minded news production system. The characteristic of these reports was ‘obstinacy based on confidence’. They were evaluated positively in the team in terms of the number of reports and coverage, and the driving force of the performance was judged to be the sense of calling. Third, errors caused by the excess of belief were observed. Choi Kyoung-young pursued “value journalism” and showed the appearance of ‘prophet’ through sharp criticism reports, but sometimes his gaze or perspective was excessive, and he also showed the appearance of ‘fanaticism’. The excess of belief appeared as the exaggeration of the facts, hostile attacks, and ‘embedding’.

ESSD 개념을 도입한 대구시 녹지보전등급 설정에 관한 연구

The purpose of this research is to establish a green space conservation grade for sustainable urban development of Taegu metropolitan city using GIS and RS methods, together with the valuation items of green spaces centered around ecological, useful, and socio-cultural factors. The results of this study are as follows: 1. According to the ecological factor, the first grade is 81.4km² and then Kachag-myun, Dong-gu in order, have needs of sustaining conservation policy of urban environment improvement and protection of the wild habitats. 2. According to the usefulness of urban parks, the first and second grade which is over 150 persons/km² in population density of the catchment areas, were Talsung park, Sinam park, Yongsan park and etc., the areas of those parks consists of 0.7% of the whole urban parks. 3. According to the socio-cultural factor, the first grade is located in urban natural parks, and the second grade is which are composed of Green Belt and agriculture in Talsung-gun. 4. Analyzing these results synthetically, the first grade conservation is 18%, as the forest in the upper zone of Mt. Palgongsan, Mt. Bisul, and Mt. Daeduck, these regions needed to preserve absolutely. This research is a basic step to show the methodology for all-round evaluation of green space using GIS and RS. Hereafter, it is necessary to consider general evaluation index of green spaces, and to consider the quantitative and qualitative aspect.

Antigenieity Study of CFA-001,Cefazolin,a Cephalosperin Derivative Produced by an Enzymatic Semisynthesis

The antigenic potential of CFA-001, cefazolin, a cephalosporin derivative produced by an enzymatic semisynthesis, was determined in Hartley guinea pigs. A battery of tests employed consisted of active systemic anaphylaxis (ASA), passive cutaneous anaphylaxis (PCA), and indirect hemagglutination test (IHA). The results were as follows: 1) In ASA, no signs attributable to anaphylaxis was observed in guinea pigs sensitized with CFA-001, whereas OVA-sensitized animals induced severe anaphylactic symptoms; 2) guinea pigs did not produce antibodies against CFA-001 when sensitized with or without Freund's complete adjuvant (FCA) in homologous PCA tests. Meanwhile, antibodies against ovalbumin (OVA) were clearly detected; 3) No CFA-001-specific hemagglutination was observed in the IHA using sera obtained from CFA-001-sensitized guinea pigs. These results suggest that CFA-001 has no antigenicity potential in guinea pigs.

Enteral Patch Repair of the Vena Caval Defect : 실험적 연구 An Experimental Study

세 마리의 한국산 잡종견을 전신마취하에 무균적 처치를 시행한 후 개복하였다. 신정맥 하방부위의 하공정맥을 5.0 ㎝ 가량 박리 노출하여 Satinsky 혈관 감자로서 잡은 후 하공정맥의 전방벽을 7.0 x 14.0 mm 크기로 절제하였다. 이 정맥의 결손 부위를 인접해 있는 소장의 장막에 3 - 0 내지 4 - 0 Dexon 봉합사를 이용해서 봉합하였다. 실험동물들은 수술후 4내지 6주간 생존시킨 후 재개복하여 총장골정맥을 통하여 60% Urograffin을 주입하여 하공정맥조영술을 시행하였다. 세 마리의 개 모두에 있어서 하공정맥이 잘 개통되어 있음이 확인되었으며 봉합부의의 정맥과 소장벽은 병리검사를 위해서 절제하였다. 조직학적 검사에서 정맥결손 부위에 봉합한 소장의 장막 부위에 새로운 내막층이 형성된 것이 확인되었으며, 이 내막층은 단층의 내피세포로서 피복되어 있었다. 이 실험의 결과 대정맥벽결손 부위를 소장벽을 이용 복원하므로서 대정맥 기능을 회복시킬 수 있는 가능성이 있는 것이 확인되었다. 아직 임상치험례는 없지만 이 방법이 대정맥 결손을 복원하는 방법중에 유용한 한 가지가 되리라 믿는다. Injuries to the inferior vena cava and their management are being reported with increasing frequency in the civilian population nowadays. Repairs of the vena caval injury with suture, replacement of the segment of the vein with autogenous or prosthetic grafts, patch fraft or ligation have been reported withe success in the literatures. A small size defect can be repaired with either vein patch graft or prosthetic fraft, but the small bowel wall can also be used to patch repair the defect of the vena cava. The experimental study in animal models revealed satisfactory results with no post-repair thrombosis or narrowing of the lumen. This experimental attempt may well be tried in the clinical cases with satisfactory results. Key Words: Enteral patch, Vena caval defect, En-dothelial cell

Is it reasonable to treat early gastric cancer with signet ring cell histology by endoscopic resection? Analysis of factors related to lymph-node metastasis

BACKGROUND/AIM: Early gastric cancer (EGC) with signet ring cell histology has a more favorable prognosis than other undifferentiated gastric adenocarcinomas. The presence of lymph-node metastasis is the most important factor in treating EGC by endoscopic resection. The aim of this study was to identify the factors predicting successful endoscopic treatment of EGC with signet ring cell histology. METHODS: Data from 215 patients who had undergone gastrectomy with D2 lymph-node dissection for EGC with signet ring cell histology between January 1999 and December 2007 were retrospectively reviewed. Associations between various clinicopathological factors and the presence of lymph-node metastasis were analyzed to identify factors predictive of lymph-node metastasis. RESULTS: The overall incidence of lymph-node metastasis was 7.9%: 1.9% with intramucosal cancer and 6% with submucosal cancer. Univariate analysis identified the depth of tumor invasion to the submucosa and positive lymphatic–vascular involvement as associated with lymph-node metastasis (both P<0.01). On multivariate analysis, positive lymphatic–vascular involvement was the most significant factor related to lymph-node metastasis (odds ratio: 43.7; 95% confidence interval: 8.7–220.9), followed by the depth of invasion (odds ratio: 4.87; 95% confidence interval: 1.02–23.21). Patients with EGC with signet ring cell histology and a diameter of less than 25 mm, invasion within the sm2 layer, and no lymphatic–vascular involvement had no lymph-node metastasis. CONCLUSION: EGC with signet ring cell histology can be treated by endoscopic mucosal resection, if it is smaller than 25 mm, limited within the sm2 layer, and does not involve the lymphatic–vascular structure. More extensive prospective data are required to confirm definitive guidelines for the endoscopic treatment of patients with EGC with signet ring cell histology.

Animal Biotechnology : The Proliferative and Apoptotic Properties of Nile Tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus) sIg+ Lymphocytes by Cortisol Treatment

The effects of cortisol on proliferation and apoptosis of tilapia surface immunoglobulin positive(sIg+) lymphocytes isolated from different tissues were investigated. sIg+ lymphocytes from the tilapia head kidney(HK) and spleen showed a higher proliferation and lower intracellular calcium(Ca2+i) level to Ig-crosslinking compared with peripheral blood sIg+ lymphocytes. Peripheral blood sIg+ lymphocytes stimulated with lipopolysaccharide(LPS) showed high levels of apoptosis in the presence of cortisol. HK and to a lesser extent spleen sIg+ lymphocytes, although less sensitive than their equivalent in peripheral blood, showed cortisol-induced apoptosis irrespective of LPS stimulation of control levels. Compared to plasma values measured during stress conditions, proliferation regardless of LPS stimulation was apparently suppressed by cortisol that is effective in inducing a significant increase in apoptosis in all three different cell populations of sIg+ cells, suggesting the immunoregulatory effect of cortisol in both LPS stimulated and non-stimulated conditions. Different sensitivity of sIg+ cells to the cortisol, in regard to developmental stage and activity, could be related in inhibiting excessive and continuing depletion of sIg+ lymphocytes.

모야모야병은 주로 소아나 청년기에 발생하는 뇌내 내경동맥의 진행성협착증으로 뇌허혈 및 뇌내출혈을 유발하며 뇌혈관촬영상 특징적인 모야모야혈관이 관찰된다. 그러나 이러한 특징적인 뇌혈관찰영상의 소견은 모야모야병이외에도 관찰되는 비특이성 소견이다. 본 증례들은 모야모야병에 해당되지 않으면서 특징적인 모야모야혈관이 관찰되는 환자 3예를 대상으로 하였다. 1례는 뇌실내출혈로 증세를 발현한 자발성 증대뇌동맥 협착증이었으며, 다른 2례는 허혈 및 자발성 지주막하출혈로 증세를 발현한 동맥경화성 뇌혈관병변을 동반하였다. 모야모야혈관을 유발할 수 있는 병변을 문헌고찰과 더불어 살펴보았다.
