        The effect of gas houdup and volumetric liquid-phase mass transfer coeffecient in the bubble coplumn with multiple draft tube were investigated experimentally, according to gas velocity, plate interval and the diameter and plate number of draft tube at 298±0.5K. The gas holdup and volumtric liquid-phase mass transfer coeffecient increased with decreasing the interval of draft tube when the diameter ratio of draft was small but decreased when the diameter ratio of draft tube was large. Also based on these observations, correlation equations of gas holdup and volumetric liquid phase mass transfer coefficients were proposed.

      • 효율적인 원격교육을 위한 웹 메일시스템의 설계 및 구현

        In this thesis, I implement a wed-based mail system using PHP language and IMAP protocol. The web-based mail system will be useful not only as the effective mail system in the environment such as school with many students but little computers, but also as the assistance of the distance education program spread in our educational circumstance. The web-based mail system do not adopts POP protocol but IMAP protocol appropriate to use in "line"essage processing. IMAP protocol designed for "online" application thus, shows better performance in the circumstance of "online" such as the web-based mail system then POP protocol Therefore, 1 can guarantee that the web mail system based on IMAP protocol has the better capacity then based on IMAP protocol. Also, using the script language PHP, highlighted as a wed programming language for the next generation with the fast speed and security, it is designed to be able to respond quickly over a number of user. The web-based mail system provides various functions for user's conveniences such as controling mailbox of producing, deleting and changing, various functions for MIME message decoding controling addresses, registrating spam mail beside the basic functions like reading, sending, replying and deleting. The personal informations such as password and text informations registrating in spam mail and address control became more stabilized and secure through the database. This system is implemented in Solaris circumstance using Apache web server, but it can be used in all the circumstances of Unix, NT and Linux because most of web sever provides PHP 1anguage.

      • 한국의 정보서비스 교육프로그램 발전 연구

        It is discussed on which educational programs of information services in universities are offered and how they are developed to cultivated the reference librarians or information officers who are competent and meet the current demands. To do this, the developmental status-quo of the education programs of information services in the U.s. are surveyed and compared with that of Korea. conclusion was that this subject, as a core curriculum in library and information science, should be developed continuously without regard of its condition of being required or optional. In conclusion, this article suggests that the courses related to information services, except the suvject bibliographies, should be offered on 3 to 9 credit hours base. In case of 9 credit hours, inclusion of communications is desirable. And finally, the main contents of the subject of information services should include the reference questions, on-line services or compurter searching, current awareness services, provision of documents, information instruction programs or library use instruction, teaching printed and computerized sources, and communication theory.

      • 이중관 기포탑에서의 비뉴튼류의 기-액간 물질이동

        The effect of draught tube dimension, properties of CMC aqueous solution and gas velocity on the gas holdup, ??, and the volumetric liquidphase masstransfer coefficient, ??, in a bubble column with draught tube were measured in highly viscous-pseudo plastic carboxymethylcellulose aqueous solution. The results were as follows : 1. ?? and ?? increase with increasing gas velocity and decrease with increasing concentration of CMC aqueous solution. 2. ?? and ?? increase with being enlarged diameter ratio of draught tube but specially ?? decreases to some degree in the CMC concentration of 0.05∼0.7wt%. 3. Correlations among various parameters having an influence on ?? and ?? were expressed by Eq. (16) and Eq. (17), respectively. ??

        The gas holdup and the volumetric liquid phase masstrasfer in a bubble column with draught tube were measured by variation of concentration, gas velocity and diameter of the draught tube in highly viscous-pseudo plsatic Catboxymethylcellulose aqueous solution. 1) ε_(G) and K_(L)a are increased with increasing the gas velocity generally. Increasing rate in case of 0.05∼0.30 wt% is shown a little than 0.50∼0.70 wt%. 2) ε_(G) and K_(L)a are decresed with increasing the CMC concentration. Decreasing rate in case of higher gas velocity is shown more steepening than lower gas velocity. 3) ε_(G) and K_(L)a are not so much changeable with increasing of draught tube diameter.       • Calix[6]arene 유도체를 이용한 물속에 녹아있는 중금속 이온의 제거 효율성 연구

        The removal effectiveness of various heavy metal ions in aqueous solutions has been studied by means of spectroscopic and pH method. Treatment of calix[6]arene-p-hexa-sulfonate and O-n-hexa[6]arene-p-sulfonate to heavy metal ion solutions showed a good result to remove the big size atomic radii of the heavy metal. Stability constants were depended on the variation of pH likely to show the absorbance is higher at pH 8~10 region.

      • 콘크리트 연속교 보의 외부강선 보강용 정착장치 개발

        최근의 교량의 추세는 장경간 교량을 설계, 시공하는 방향으로 옮겨가고 있다. 그러나 우리나라에는 아직까지 연속교 보다는 단순교가 많은 것이 사실이다. 단경간에 연속교의 개념을 적용하거나 최근의 연속교에 대한 수요를 생각해본다면, 우리는 많은 연속교가 보수와 보강이 필요하다고 생각할 수 있다. 그러나 연속교에 대한 보수보강 공법은 현장에서 일반적으로 사용하는 방법을 찾기가 매우 힘들다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 교량의 보수보강 공법이나 연속교 보수보강 공법의 장단점을 분석하여 보다 발전된 연속교의 보수보강 방법을 개발하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 국내외 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 교량의 보수보강 공법과 연속교 보수보강 공법의 자료들을 정리하였다. 또 여러 교량 형식 중 30m 2경간 연속 거더교를 선정했고, 연속교 외부 강선 보강 시 필요한 보강량을 산출하기 위하여 SAP2000 프로그램으로 모델링하여 구조해석을 하였다. 그리고 구조해석 결과를 이용하여 연속교 외부 강선 보강 공법에 사용될 단부정착장치, 새들(Saddle), 디비에이터(Deviator), 중앙부 정착장치를 각각 개발하고 설계하였다. Recently, general tendency in constructing the bridge has been moved to a course that designs and constructs long span bridges. But there are more simple bridge than continuous bridges, in Korea. If the ideas of continuous bridge are applied to short span structure and consider demand of continuos bridge constructed newly, many continuous bridge will need reinforcement and repair. However, Prestress Strengthening Method for Continuous Bridge is very difficult to find a general method in the sense of labor. Therefore, this study opened up an improving repair and reinforcement method of continuous bridge while we find merits and defects of existing prestressed concrete and continuous bridge's repair and reinforcement method. Data of internal and external Prestress Strengthening Method for Prestressed Concrete Bridge and Continuous Bridge were arranged for this purpose. A 30m two span continuous girder bridge was chosen and analyzed using SAP2000 for reinforcement volume that we needed. And using structure-analysis result, End-Bracket, Saddle, Deviator and Middle-Bracket that were used external steel wire repair-reinforcement method of continuos bridge were developed and designed.

      • 기포탑 내의 중금속 수용액에 대한 기-액접촉면적과 물질전달에 관한 연구

        기포탑 내에서 중금속 수용액에 대한 기체 체류량, 기포경, 기-액 계면적 및 액상 용량물질 전달계수를 용액의 물성과 분산판의 종류에 따라 실험하였다. 기체 체류량, 기-액 계면적 및 액상 용량 물질 전달계수는 기체 속도와 용액의 농도가 증가함에 따라 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 기포경은 용액의 농도가 증가하면 감소하였고 기-액 계면적과 기체 체류량 사이에는 직선 관계를 나타내었으며, 기체 체류량과 액상용량물질전달계수에 대한 새로운 무차원식을 구하였다. In the experiment of heavy metal solution in the bubble column, gas hold up, bubble diameter, gas liquid interface area and volumetric liquid phase mass transfer coefficient are measured according to liquid properties and various perforated plates. Gas hold up and gas liquid interface area increase as the gas velocity and liquid concentration increase. Bubble diameters decrease as the liquid concentra-tions increase. The gas liquid interface areas are directly proportional to the gas hold up. The new dimensionless correlations of gas hold up and the volumetric mass transfer coefficients are obtained.

        정보조사제공에 있어서 비언어적 커뮤니케이션의 응용모형개발을 위한 실증적 연구

        Traditionally, the emphasis of the information services had been placed on the information provider's knowledge of information sources or information systems. However, in view of the increasing complexity of the information environment and changes taking place in information professions the evaluation of the information services has callded for further research in interpersonal communication aspects of the librarian - user interface especially that which links to user satisfaction. This experimental study was carried out for the purpose of exploring the implications of nonverbal behaviors in measuring user satisfaction in the light of the fact that the meaning of nonverbal clues includes more than verbal communication especially in dealing with variable barriers even though they operate at low levels of awareness. In this sense, among the wide range of nonverbal communication areas in particular kinesics, artifacts and the proximics were examined to suggest alternative model which can be applied effectively in our specific set of information work environment. Two major university libraries and two research libraries in Korea were chosen and visited for theanalysis and per each refernce/information interview the librarian's nonverbal behaviors were checked on the observer's checklist and the qustionnaires completed by the user at a time. On the basis of these data firstly, the relation of user satisfaction concerned with the librarian's nonverbal communication to user satisfaction with information services was analyzed and the possible communication barriers were investigated. In addition, the effect of training the information librarian with positive nonverbal communication skills on the user's satisfaction was analyzed in a SAS computer program in the area of kinesics. On the other hand, the effect of other nonverbal behaviors such as proximics and artifacts known very important clues to improving a complex human interaction was discussed along with their experimental results. In conclusion, it was found that most of users were not sensitive to the importance of nonverbal behaviors exposed by the information librarian, but it was proved that the ultimate user satisfaction and the satisfaction of the librarian's nonverbal behaviors are correlated positively. Moreover, nonverbal behaviors displayed by the trained librarian toward the user had a considerable effect on the user's evalution of information services compared with those by the untrained. These findings imply that in order to control the librarian's nonverbal behaviors and to help the user overcome his barriers the information librarian as a specialist needs to assure and modify willilingly his communication behavior. Without making effective use of such nonverbal communication, information librarian could not expect to meet the user's information needs either. However, when these positive nonverbal behaviors are applied it would be highly desirable to be aware of cultural and contextual differences. With regard to increasing information services success the applicable nonverbal communication model for library management and education can be suggested as below

        21세기 공공도서관 발전방향 및 모델개발연구

        본 연구의 목적은 21세기를 대비한 공공도서관의 발전방향과 모형을 제공하는데 있다. 21세기 공공도서관을 위한 기본 개념은 공평한 접근성과 다양한 이용자 요구를 만족시킬 수 있어야 한다. 이를 위해 공공도서관은 봉사대상과 주제분야를 중심으로 체제가 이루어져야 하며 다른 도서관과 정보를 공유할 수 있어야 한다. 또한 직원은 교육, 연구, 실무경험을 기준으로 하여 자격증을 부여하고, 한 분야에 장기적으로 근무시켜 전문가를 양성하는 배치기준이 필요하다. 도서관 모형은 인구를 중심으로하여 대도시형, 중소도시형, 그리고 농촌 및 소규모형으로 구분하는 것이 바람직하다 The purpose of this study is to provide the development direction and model for the 21 century public library. The 21 century public library should have the accessibility for everyone and provide the satisfaction for all kind of information needs. For these, public libraries would be organized by type of users and topics and share the resources with others. Staff should be hired by the certification based upon education, research, and experience. For the models of public libraries, there were divided to three types: metro, medium, and small rural type of libraries
