      • Multimedia Room Bridge Adapter for Seamless Interoperability between Heterogeneous Home Network Devices

        A home network is a typical ubiquitous computing network that consists of various consumer devices and service environments. Home networks are requiring increasingly more complicated services, such as multimedia home theater and the monitoring and controlling of heterogeneous devices. Accordingly, a mutually connecting mechanism is needed among heterogeneous devices and services redundant. The current paper presents a Multimedia Room Bridge Adapter (MRBA) system that is designed to manage heterogeneous devices and support various services. In addition, a hardware and software prototype is implemented based on the proposed architecture.

        생활폐기물 소각장 작업복 샘플의 다이옥신 분석

        PCDD/F(Polychlirinated dibenzo-p-dioxins and dibenzofurans) in both of treated fabric and untreated fabric for working clothes of a municipal waste incineration were determinated. The treated fabric for working clothes was developed for less exposure of PCDD/F in municipal waste incinerations. The total concentrations of PCDD/F in some parts such as surface, middle layer, inside for treated and untreated fabric were investigated. The I-TEQ value of surface was 0.23370ng ·TEQ/g for treated fabric, 0.15355ng ·TEQ/g for non-treated fabric. On the other hand, the value of middle layer was 0.00077ng ·TEQ/g, 0.00177ng ·TEQ/g, respectively. The surface of the treated fabric containing high levels PCDD/F was caused by absorption of them. Therefore, PCDD/F of the treated fabric in middle layer was less I-TEQ value than that of the untreated fabric. The treated fabric makes effect on preventing PCDD/F from permeating into human body.

      • 매실 추출물이 알코올 투여 흰쥐의 항산화계 및 지질과산화에 미치는 영향

        매실 에탄올추출물이 알코올투여로 유발된 흰쥐의 간손상에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 실험동물을 정상군, 매실 에탄올추출물 200 mg/kg투여군, 알코올투여군(35% ethanol 10 mL/kg, b.w./day), 알코올 및 매실 에탄올추출물 200 mg/kg 병합투여군과 알코올 및 매실 에탄올추출물 400 mg/kg 병합투여군의 5군으로 나누어 6주간 사육하였고, 체중증가율 및 식이효유르 혈청중 ALT와 AST활성, 간손상 억제 효과를 확인하기 위해 SOD,catalase, xanthine osidase 및 GSH-Px활성을 측정하고, 지질과산화물인 thiobabituric acid reactant(TBARS) 및 GSH함량에 미치는 영향을 측정하였다. 그 결과 매실 에탄올추출물이 알코올투여로 증가된 유리기 해독계 효소인 GSH-Px활성을 유의성있게 감소시키고 비효소적 항산화작용을 나타내는 GSH함량을 증가시킴으로서 지질과 산화물에 대한 방어력이 증강됨을 보였고, 알코올 투여로 상승된 ALT 및 ASTGHKF성을 유의성있게 감소시켜 매실 에탄올추출물이 에탄올에 의한 지방간 또는 손상된 간세포를 회복시키는 작용이 있는 것으로 추정되었다. To investigate the antioxidative effects of Prunus mume ethanol extract on the ethanol-induced hepatotoxicity in rat liver, Sprague-Dawley rats weighing 120~160 g were divided into 5 groups; normal group(NOR), Prunus mume ethanol extract 200mg/kg treated group(PME), ethanol(10 mL/kg, 35%) treated group(ETH), Prunrs mume ethanol extract 200 mh/kg and ethanol treated group (PML) and Prunus mume ethanol extract 400 mg/kg, and ethanol treated group(PMH), respectively. The antioxidative activity in vitro was reduced in order of EtOAC> n-BuOH> n-hexane> water> chloroform fraction. The growth rate and feed efficiency ratio decreased by ethanol administration were gradually increased to the adjacent level of NOR by administering Prunrs mume ethanol extract. It was observed that activities of catalase, superoxide dismutase(SOD), xanthine oxidase and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px) of liver and alanine aminotransferase(ALT) and asparate aminotransferase(AST) of serum were elevated by ethanol administration. Besides, Prunrs mume ethanol extract markedly decreased elevated activites of catalase, GSH-Px, ALT and AST, except in activites of SOD and xanthine oxidase compared to ETH. Also, the depleted enotent of GSH by ethanol was increased similar to NOR level by administering Prunus mume ethanol extract. These results suggested that Prunus mume ethanol extract has a possible protective effect on the ethanol-induced hepatotoxicity in rat liver.

      • 臺木의 種類 및 生長調節物質 處理가 여름삼척 仰制栽培 오이의 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響 : Cucumis sativus cv. Summer Samchuk

        Studies were conducted to investigate the response of 'Summer Samchuk' cucumber grafted on different rootstocks and then treated with several growth regulators. The results are as follows. 1. Number of pistillate flowers was not significantly influenced by rootstocks even though 'Heukzong' rootstock tended to increase it. 2. Grafted cucumber seedlings were less responsive to GA_3 treatment as compared to intact seedlings. All the seedlings, however, showed similar response to ethephon treatment. 3. The growth of 'Summer Samchuk' cucumber was promoted by grafting to 'Heukzong' rootstock. Among the tested growth regulators, ethephon 250 ppm exhibited stronger inhibition of main stem growth. 4. Those plants grafted to 'Heukzong' rootstock showed higher fruit yield. The fruits tended to become shorter with grafting. Ethephon treatment reduced the fruit length and fruit diameter, thus resulting in inferior fruits.

      • 양다래 과실의 아미노산조성과 유리당의 분석

        Actindia chinensis의 一般成分, 遊離糖 및 amino acid 組成狀態를 알아보기 위하여 HPLC 등으로 분석, 定量한 結果는 다음과 같다. 1. 粗蜜白質量은 2.77%, 炭水化物量은 11.97%이었다. 2. 遊離糖으로는 glucose, fructose, sucrose 및 maltose가 檢出되었으며 과육부에는 fructose, 껍질부에는 sucrose 및 maltose가 많이 함유되었다. 3. 과육질 및 껍질부에서 17種의 總 및 유리 amino acid이 검출되었는데 과육부에는 isoleucine 191.52mg/100g, glutamic acid 160.93mg/100g, 껍질부에는 g1utamic acid 203.36mg/100g, aspartic acid 168.46mg/100g으로 가장 많이 함유되어 있으며, 必須 아미노산 量은 껍질부가 528.23mg/100g으로 과육부 (350.90mg/loog)보다 약 1.5배 정도 많았다. 4. 遊離 아미노산 量은 과육부 (136.89mg/loog)가 껍질부 (120.55mg/100g)에 비해 다소 많았으며 他 과일에 비하여 histidine, arginine量이 많았다. Approximate compositions, and contents of free sugars and amino acids of edible and nonedidle portion in Kiwi fruit 〔Actindia chinensis planch〕were analyzed by HPLC. The results were as follows; The contents of protein and sugars in kiwi fruit were 2.77% and 11.97%, respectively. Glucose, fructose, sucrose and maltose were detected and fructose was rich in edible portion, and sucrose and maltose in nonedible portion. 17 kinds of total amino acids were detected in edible and nonedible portion. The contents of isoleucine(191.52mg/100g) and glutamic acid (160.93mg/100g) in edible portion, and glutamic acid (203.36mg/100g) and asparatic acid (168.48mg/100g) in nonedible portion were high. Total amounts of essential amino acids of nonedidle portion (523.23mg/100g) were rich than that of edible portion (350.90mg/100g). Free amino acids were contained 136.89mg/100g in edible portion and 120.55mg/100g in nonedible portion. Histidine and arginine were found in abundance, compared to other fruits (orange and strawbeery).

      • HgCdTe 제작 다이오드 어레이의 열처리에 따른 전기적 특성

        This paper is investigated on the study of uniformity improvement and electrical characteristics for the 1×128 diode array used Hg^0.7Cd^0.3Te. The electrical characteristics were measured for the device manufactured by several different annealing processes and temperatures being discrepant from existing method of annealing processes and temperatures. The results of uniformity were improved from 60∼80[%], the rate of existing uniformity, to 99[%]. The results obtained from analyzing and examining the characteristics of current-voltage(I-V) and capacitance-voltage(C-V) are following. First, the reverse current show 6[㎁] or so. It is seemed to be resulted from the decrease of direct tunneling and trap tunneling of the device. Second, when the input bias voltage is zero, the maximum value of reverse resistance show 12[GΩ], and the mean value of reverse resistance show 5[GΩ]. Third, it is shown that the voltage of the maximum value of resistance is shifted 0.1[V] to the reverse direction.

        우리나라 일부 석면사업장의 석면폐 유병률

        Asbestos industry has been in operation over 60 years in Korea. However, the prevalence of asbestosis has not been yet reported. With rapid turn-over of workers, previous cross-sectional studies of current workers on the job could not find cases with exposures long enough for the development of asbestosis. This study was done to evaluate asbestosis prevalence of those worksites with operation history of more than 20 years. In total, 139 workers from 5 worksites were examined. Asbestos industries covered in the study include 2 asbestos textile, 1 brake lining, and 2 ship repairing worksites. Chest x-ray was taken from all workers and read by two experts familiar with pneumoconiosis classification according to 1980 ILO guidelines. Those with findings compatible with asbestosis were further ckecked with high resolution computerized tomography (HRCT). Pulmonary function tests were done according to ATS guidelines, and occupational and previous medical history was taken through a standardized interview. Air-borne asbestos was measured according to NIOSH method 7400. The air-borne asbestos concentrations ranged from 0.2-1.3 f/cc for asbestos textile, from 0.7-1.0 f/cc for brake lining, and from 6.3-7.8 f/cc during asbestos removal at ship repairing worksite. Of the 139 workers 25 had abnormal chest radiographic findings, and 10 of them had findings compatible with pneumoconiosis. When work history and current asbestos measurements were accounted, 9 workers who had more than 10 years of asbestos exposure history showed chest radiographic findings of pneumoconiosis with Finally, 4 workers showed finding of pulmonary fibrosis and/or pleural thickening at HRCT, and 2 of them had restrictive lung function changes. The study results showed that, among 139 subjects, there were 4(3%) definite asbestosis cases confirmed with HRCT. The prevalence of probable asbestosis was 7% for 10-14 years of exposure, 13% for 15-19 years of exposure, and 23% for 20 or more years of exposure. The prevalence of compensable asbestosis with abnormal lung function was 4-6% for those with 15 or more years of exposure.

      • Powerlessness, Helplessness, Hopelessness의 개념적 특성 및 유사점과 차이점

        The purpose of this study was to detect each concept's characteristics resemblances, differences by finding out definition, contributions, antecedents, instrumentations, consequences of powerlessness, helplessness and hopelessness through reviewing literature. The concept of powerlessness, helplessness or hopelessness has been important elements of the lives of persons with chronic diseases. Their resemblances are negative emotion coming from loss of control and have effect on physical, psychological, sociological aspects of hearth A continued powerlessness leads to helplessness and hopelessness. If it is not controlled and even persisted in chronically, a person will learn helplessness and get into helplessness - hopelessness cycle. Their differences are as follows: Powerlessness is recognition that self-behavior will significantly have no influence on result. Attributions of feelings are lack of control, disorder of physical functions, disorder of role management, lack of knowledge or motivation. Antecedents are lack of physical, psychological and social power. It results in behavior and psychologic response and helplessness, despair, death. Helplessness is extinction of response that an organ can't control or avoid results. Attributions of feelings are lack of confidence, persistance, display and responsibility and negative recognition like depression and passive. Antecedents are recognition that some results are independent on self-response and lack of motivation to control results and lack of confidence on control and restrained learn response. It results in reduced motivation and life, disorder of recognizing fuction and emotion. Hopelessness is negative hoping systems on life of self and self-future. Attributions of feelings are disability, powerlessness, continuing disappointment-abandon cycling. Antecedents are lack of physical well-being, humanistic life, functional ability, role management ability, economics. It results in social isolation, physical symptoms, suicide, shortened life.

        숯 날염에 의한 부직포의 특성 변화

        The purposes of this study were to investigate characteristic changes on nonwoven fabric by the charcoal printing. It separate grind charcoal as two different size of particles 45-52㎛ and 53-65㎛ for hand screen printing on three kind of nonwoven fabrics. To examine the effect of charcoal printing on nonwoven fabric were to obwerve surface changes by a scanning electron microscope, dyeability by using spectrophotometer, moisture regain by oven method, air permeability, anion property, deodorization and antibacterial activity. The results were as follows: When charcoal powder concentration increased from 3 to 9%, K/S value also increased from 3.06to 8.55. When charcoal concentration increased, moisture regain also increased. In same concentration, moisture regain occurred higher as particle of small size. Air permeability decreased when the charcoal printing concentration increased. Anion occurrence appeared 140-160ion/㏄ from three different kinds of nonwoven fabrics in 3% and 9% charcoal concentration. Therefore, occurred anion ineffectively. In concentration of 3%, rate of deodorization measured as 89%, 83% and 87%, and 9% concentration caused 96%, 86% and 93% of high deodorization. Antibacterial activity examination in nonfinished nonwoven fabric resulted range of 60% however, 3% and 9% concentration finished nonwoven fabric resulted 99.9% of excellent antibacterial activity.
