        치과기공사의 건강습관과 삶의 질과의 연관성

        권순석,김윤신 한국치위생과학회 2010 치위생과학회지 Vol.10 No.3

This paper aims to provide resources and data that enable us to develop health care programs for the dental technicians by way of conducting the questionnaire survey and the analysis of the habitual characteristics influencing their quality of life. Except for the missed and the unqualified questionnaires, 1525 sheets were collected and analyzed with multiple regression analysis and analysis of variance. The results of the analysis are as follows; 1. In the quality of life(SF-36), the physical factors(PCS, 72.01) marked higher than the mental factors(MCS, 63.76). Of the 8 sub items, the physical function(PF, 85.54) turned out the highest and the vitality(VT, 52.32) the lowest. 2. It was the working conditions among the general characteristics that most affect the sub items of the quality of life, and the physical and mental factors. In the health habits, the regular physical activity and the hours of sleep were the most affecting one, which was supported by the statistical significance(p<.001). 3. In the overall quality of life, the mental factors(β=.759) were more affecting than the physical factors(β=.531). Among the sub items of the physical factors, the physical function(PF)turned out the most influencing one while the mental health(MH) proved the most affecting factor among the sub items of the mental components.

대면수업과 온라인수업에 따른 수업 만족도와 자기주도 학습능력의 관계 : K 대학 치기공학과 전공과목을 대상으로

        권순석 대한치과기공학회 2022 대한치과기공학회지 Vol.44 No.3

Purpose: The study aims to analyze differences in the satisfaction level of dental technology students regarding in-person and online classes. It also aims to provide fundamental resources for the improvement of major subject class methods that will improve students’ self-directed learning abilities, thereby affecting their class satisfaction. Methods: In this study, a self-administered questionnaire was conducted from November 8 to November 30, 2021, for 256 dental technology students. The collected data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS Statistics ver. 21.0 statistical program. Frequency and percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, post-hoc test, correlation analysis, and linear regression analysis were performed to analyze the data. Results: In the self-directed learning abilities, the attitude of the learners was shown to have the highest positive (+) correlation in both in-person and online classes, with a statistically significant effect (p<0.001) on class satisfaction in major subject classes. Moreover, the explanatory power of the model was 52.2% and 39.7%, respectively. Conclusion: We concluded from the study that there is a need for professors to improve teaching methods to increase learners’ self-directed learning competence, through problem- based learning, discussion learning, team-based collaborative learning, and mentormentee learning, thereby enabling learners to lead classes themselves.

수업 만족도에 영향을 미치는 수업참여 요인 : 치기공(학)과 학생을 중심으로

        권순석 대한치과기공학회 2018 대한치과기공학회지 Vol.40 No.3

Purpose: In this study, we aim to provide primary source of data for developing a learning program that enhances the students’ learning by critically analyzing and adopting the effective class participation factors of the students. Methods: A questionnaire survey has been conducted from the beginning of May to the end of October, 2017. Subjects of the survey was the dental technology students living in W-city et al by random sampling method along with written informed consent. Out of 630 distributed questionnaires, 584 results were used for our analysis. Results: Firstly, the average score of the class participation of all the subjects was 3.08 points out of 5.0, which was broken down into class activity (3.53 points), passion about class (3.51 points), communication factors (2.88 points), class preparation (2.77 points), class extension (2.76 points). Secondly, statistically significant correlations were found between class participation and class satisfaction as shown in (p<.01). Class participation factors that affect the class satisfaction were class preparation(p<.001), class activities(p<.001), passion about class(p<.001), which reveals positive and meaningful results. Explanatory power of the model turned out 50.3%. Conclusion : Considering that class preparation, class activities, and passion about class played a key role in class satisfaction of the student, teachers need to be open minded to reflect the learners’ personalized demands and needs in preparing and managing their class. Additionally should be in tandem that provides the students with various routes of class participation.

우리나라 치과기공사의 증가현황 및 협회원의 지역별 분포현황 연구

        권순석 대한치과기공학회 2004 대한치과기공학회지 Vol.26 No.1

The present study reviews the license registration status of dental technicians and dentists from1970 to 2002, the number of technician members of The Korea Dental Technician Association from1990 to 2003, and the number of dentist members in 2003. It also considers the yearly membershipfluctuations, its growth rates, yearly increase/decrease, the rate of dentist to dental technician, regional distribution of association members, regional yearly increase/decrease of the members, and the regional distribution of dentists and dental technicians. The purpose is to identify andpredict the problems in the demand/supply of dental technicians and the regional imbalance ofmanpower distribution. By doing so, this study attempts to propose the appropriate standard for thesupply of dental technicians and point out the necessity of making mid- or long-term plans forensuring the efficiency of manpower supply and balanced regional distribution. The result is asfollows:1. The number of dental technicians and dentists in 2002 has grown 36.79 and 9.27 times from1970, and 2.20 and 2.05 times from 1990, respectively. It tool 11 years for the twofold increase ofdental technicians from 1990, one year faster than the same increase of dentists. The number of dental technicians per a dentist was the lowest in 1972 (0.21 person), and the highest in 2002 (0.86 person). Specifically, the fastest growth was observed for a year from 1983(0.47 technician per a dentist) to 1984 (0.6). From 1984 to 1986, the ratio grew by 0.1 every year. Summing up the numbers of dentists and dental technicians who passed the national certificationexamination, this study predicted the number of dental technicians per a dentist to be 0.88 in 2003,and 0.90 in 2004. 2. From 1990 to 2003, the average distribution of dental technician was 71.76% in themetropolitan areas and 28.24% in other smaller regions. The proportion of dental technicians working in the three major cities (Seoul, Busan, and Daegu)was the lowest in 2001 (52.39%) and the highest in 1996 (62.66%). The majority number of dentaltechnicians who practiced in the metropolitan areas (about 70% of the entire population) were inservice in the three major cities. 3. Compared with 1990, the number of dental technicians in 2003 grew 2.28 times in the largecities, and 2.05 times in other smaller regions. The yearly growth rate was the highest in 1994 overthe previous year: 26.06% in large cities and 17.86% in the other regions. In the large metropolitan cities, the growth rate was the highest in Incheon (5.8 times for 5 yearsfrom 1998 to 2003), In the rest of the regions, the increase of dental technicians was the highest inGyeonggi (6.5 times from 1990 to 2003).4. In 2003, as much as 73.40% of all the members of the Korea Dental Technician Associationwere distributed in the large metropolitan cities, and the rest 26.60% were in other smaller regions.Meanwhile, 54.35% of the dentists practiced in the metropolitan cities, and the rest 45.65% were inservice at other regions. This result indicates that more dental technicians than dentists areconcentrated in large cities.More than half of all the technician members of the Association are distributed in the three majorcities (i.e. Seoul, Busan, Daegu). On the other hand, 42.03% of dentist members are in these threecities and 53.97% of them practice in Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Busan. In 2003, the ratio of dentist to dental technician is 1:0.43 in general, while the ratio is 1:0.58 inthe metropolitan cities, and 1:0.43 in other regions. In 2003, 33.30% of all the certified dental technicians are the member of the Korea DentalTechnician Association, while 66.82% of all the licensed dentists are its members.
