This paper investigates and compares operating characteristics of the main power conversion circuit and extension of safety operating zone etc in case of use switching device of voltage-fed type high frequency Inverter with self-turn-off device to a case of using nature-commutated type devices. In addition, this paper induced operating characteristics of the main power conversion circuit by examination to normalized parameter. This paper propose that a base data of the main power conversion circuit of characteristics evaluation for frequency characteristics, output characteristics and load characteristics etc.

An analytical method to solve non-linear differential equation, describing the performance of an three phase an induction motor following supply disconnection, is described. Current, speed and stator voltage of a three phase induction motor, following supply disconnection are obtained by the proposed method. The proposed method reduces the computational requirement.

As electionic application system such as data processing communication system and control measurement system get larger, high accuracy, high efficiency, small size and light weight for DC power supply are required. This paper processes a type of circuit that can be controlled by PWM and PFM-TRC method using Thyristor as switching element. And some data essential to system design are obtained by evaluating characteristic of the proposed circuit in terms of chopper frequency, energy storage period and load resistor using normalized parameter. The characteristic analysis of the proposed circuit is illustrated by experiment.
單相 싸이클로콘버터에 依한 誘導電動機의 速度制御에 관한 硏究

This paper describes a study on the induction motor speed control using single-phase to single-phase cycloconverter. The results abtained from this study are as follows. 1) Synchronize type cycloconverter could eliminate asymmetry of voltage and ripple of torque. 2) A satisfactory result was obtained at 10, 12, 15, 20 and 30Hz when flux constant was controlled. 3) A more study is expected on decrease of maximum torque when voltage constant frequency variable method.

In this paper, a novel current control strategy for PWM current source converter is proposed, applying a multivariable state feedback control. In this converter system, a sinusoidal input current, unity power factor, low current ripple are obtained. In addition, fast transient response of dc link current is achieved.

The Taegu City Authority has set up their master plan to adopt a city subway system since middle 1989 and a feasibility study was already submitted by Institute of Traffic Development in March 1990 and a fundamental planning contract was placed to Samwoo Engineering Co., Ltd. In compliance with this proceedure, the autors have surveyed the existing subway systems, bearing in mind to figure out which kind of system could be suitable to city Taegu. Initially, the subway systems, operating in Korea, were analyzed and the conclusion was approached that the existing subway system in Seoul and Pusan is not suitable to adopt to Taegu but a Light Traffic Vehicle system is efficient to adopt to the city.

This paper described a study on the series resonant type DC-DC converter. A complete DC-DC converter analysis of the half-bridge H·F Voltage resonant converter is presented. Continuity and discontinuity of the operation mode divided into two classes in this circuit. Output voltage, current and power obtained to the circuit analysis.
E급 스위칭 Mode DC-DC Converter에 관한 연구

This paper proposes a DC-DC Converter of high frequency inverter control type of E class switching mode to reduce switching loss by constructing a resonance type DC-DC Converter. The steady state characteristics of the proposed circuit is analyzed by mormalized parameters. In addition, the characteristics of proposed DC-DC converter of E class switching mode is evaluated by describing the characteristics frequency, load, switching voltage and current. Based on the characteristic values, a method of circuit design is proposed. A constant output is controlled by PWM and PFM-TRC method using power MOSFET. By means of experiment, the proposed theory is proved and the results show that it can be used for practical purposes.
고속전철 추진 시스템의 미끄럼 방지 제어기법에 관한 연구

Induction motor drive with PWM inverter control has been developed for Korean High Speed Railways. To improve traction performance, the anti-slip control(ASC) to recover adhesion must be considered. This paper describes a novel hybrid anti-slip control method for the induction motor drive. By introducing the vector control for drive system, quick response of the motor torque can be achieved when wheels are going to slip. A hybrid control scheme by mixing two conventional control methods (slip velocity feedback control and slip detection pattern control) for wheel slip and re-adhesion is proposed. This control method is simulated by motor drive, train load, and friction-creep models. The train running simulation results based on induction motor vector control with PWM inverter show that good re-adhesion characteristics are obtained.
Forward형 고전압 Pulse 발생용 전원장치에 관한 연구

This paper describes the forward type pulse power supply using a Power-MOSFET in the view of commercialization. The maximum value of output pulse voltage of the proposed pulse power supply system can be realized by thyristor bridge rectifier circuit and also its pulse period is determined by gate signal duty ratio of Power-MOSFET. The principle of basic operating and operating characteristics of forward type pulse power supply is presented. It is shown that theoretical and experimental results are in good agreement by comparing simulation and experimental results when a lamp type ozonizer can be used as a load. Also, experimental results indicate that the discharge and ozone concentration characteristics of the manufactured pulse power supply is more improved compare to the conventional pulse power supply. This proposed supply show that it can be practically used as a pulse power supply in various environment improvement facilities.
