Yuzheng(鬱證) comes from obstruction of qi by stress. The patient has depressed mood, irritable sign, chest discomfort, costal pain, angry state or some strange feeling on the throat. Oh-Ji-Sang-Seung(五志相勝) therapy is base on the theory of interrelation in five elements in oriental medicine. The contents of Oh-Ji-Sang-Seung(五志相勝) therapy include five subjugations of five emotions. Anxiety subjugates fear(思勝恐), fear subjugates joy(恐勝喜), joy subjugates pity(喜勝悲), pity subjugates anger(悲勝怒), and anger subjugates anxiety(怒勝思). Forgiveness program is a kind of psychological therapies to decrease the degree of anger and it is included in Oh-Ji-Sang-Seung(五志相勝) therapy. In this case, a female patient, 50 years old, who suffered from Yuzheng(鬱證) with chest discomfort, irritable sign, easily angry state, depressed mood, hot flush, insomnia. We used Oh-Ji-Sang-Seung(五志相勝) therapy besides herbal medication, acupuncture to her condition got improved. Therefore we reported it for the treatment.

The previous study reported the biological effect of magnetic field exerted by acting on endocrine and anti-oxidant system. The present study aims to study whether ELF-MF (extremely low frequency magnetic field) affects the physiological endocrine systems such as thyroid and whether ELF-MF affects the defense system against oxidative stress when it alters the function of thyroid. Finally, we correlate the effects of MF on oxidative stress, and adrenal and thyroid with an environmental stress factor. We exposed sham or MF to rats for 5 or 25 days. After the exposure, we determined pain sensitivity, level of TSH, $T_3$ and free $T_4$ in plasma. We also assayed in whole brain, lipid peroxidation, the activity of enzymatic anti-oxidant defense including superoxide dismutase(SOD) and glutathione peroxidase (GPx), and non enzymatic defense such as reduced or oxidized glutathione contents. MF induced the hypersensitivity to thermal stimuli with the reduction of latency. $T_3$ and $T_4$ levels were also increased by the exposure of MF. In addition, we observed the rise of MDA level in rat brain by MF although the MF did not change superoxide dismutase and glutathione peroxidase activity. The effect of MF on both reduced and oxidized glutathione results in decrease in reduced or oxidized glutathione in whole brain. In every experiment, there was no significant difference in MF influence between short term (5 days) and long term (25 days) exposure. Taken together, MF exposure affects the thyroid hormonal control in brain. The elevated thyroid hormone acts on brain, leading to hyper-utilization of oxygen. This phenomenon may be correlated with oxidative stress resulting from MF exposure. In conclusion, we suggest that MF exposure may be an environmental stress by exerting oxidative stress.
Modulation transfer spectroscopy mediated by spontaneous emission.
Park, Sang Eon,Noh, Heung-Ryoul Optical Society of America 2013 Optics express Vol.21 No.12
<P>We report the polarization dependence of the spectrum in modulation transfer spectroscopy for the transitions from the lower ground state (F(g) = 1) of (87)Rb atoms. We measured the spectra for the two polarization configurations where the carrier and probe beams were linearly polarized in parallel or perpendicular directions. The measured spectra were in excellent agreement with calculated results. The spectra were strongly dependent on the polarization configurations. In particular, the signal for parallel polarization configuration was generated via an incoherent process mediated by spontaneous emission.</P>
Discovery of Novel DUSP4 Inhibitors through the Virtual Screening with Docking Simulations
Park, Hwangseo,Jeon, Tae Jin,Chien, Pham Ngoc,Park, So Ya,Oh, Sung Min,Kim, Seung Jun,Ryu, Seong Eon Korean Chemical Society 2014 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.35 No.9
Dual specificity protein phosphatase 4 (DUSP4) has been considered a promising target for the development of therapeutics for various human cancers. Here, we report the first example for a successful application of the structure-based virtual screening to identify the novel small-molecule DUSP4 inhibitors. As a consequence of the virtual screening with the modified scoring function to include an effective molecular solvation free energy term, five micromolar DUSP4 inhibitors are found with the associated $IC_{50}$ values ranging from 3.5 to $10.8{\mu}M$. Because these newly identified inhibitors were also screened for having desirable physicochemical properties as a drug candidate, they may serve as a starting point of the structure-activity relationship study to optimize the medical efficacy. Structural features relevant to the stabilization of the new inhibitors in the active site of DUSP4 are discussed in detail.
Influence of Compressibility Modification to k-ε Turbulence Models for Supersonic Base Flow
Sang Eon Jeon,Soo Hyung Park,Yung Hwan Byun,Jang Hyuk Kwon 한국항공우주학회 2012 International Journal of Aeronautical and Space Sc Vol.13 No.2
An improvement to the k-ε turbulence model is presented and is shown to lead to better agreement with data regarding supersonic base flows. The improvement was achieved by imposing a grid-independent realizability constraint in the Launder-Sharma k-ε model. The effects of compressibility were also examined. The numerical results show that the modified Launder-Sharma model leads to some improvement in the prediction of the velocity and turbulent kinetic energy profiles. Compressibility corrections also lead to better agreement in both the turbulent kinetic energy and the Reynolds stress profiles with the experimental data.

Park Jeeeun,Kim Young-Sam,Kim Seong-Jin,Kim Sang-Eon,Jung Hyun-Kyoung,Yu Min-Ju,Jeon Young Jae,Kim Kyoung-Ho 한국미생물학회 2021 The journal of microbiology Vol.59 No.6
A novel bacterium, designated strain RR4-56T, was isolated from a biofilter of a seawater recirculating aquaculture system. The 16S rRNA gene sequence analysis showed that the isolate was closely related to Halovulum dunhuangense YYQ- 30T (92.6%), Albimonas donghaensis DS2T (91.3%), Pontivivens insulae GYSW-23T (91.3%), and Monaibacterium marinum C7T (90.9%), belonging to the family Rhodobacteraceae. The strain was aerobic, Gram-negative, rod-shaped, oxidasepositive, and catalase-negative. Its optimum temperature, pH, and salinity for growth were 25–30°C, pH 8.5, and 2–3% NaCl (w/v), respectively. Its growth occurred at 15–35°C, pH 5.0–9.5, and 0–7% NaCl (w/v). It contained ubiquinone-10 (Q-10), a respiratory quinone, and the major cellular fatty acids were 11-methyl C18:1 ω7c (31.9%), C18:1 ω6c (30.4%), and C19:0 cyclo ω8c (16.1%). The polar lipids present in the strain were phosphatidylglycerol, an unidentified phospholipid, and an unidentified aminolipid. The strain had one 4,373,045 bp circular chromosome with G + C contents of 65.9 mol% including 4,169 genes, 4,118 coding sequences (CDSs), 3 rRNAs, and 45 tRNAs. Genome annotation predicted some gene clusters related to the degradation of several types of organic matter such as protocatechuate, catechol, and phthalate. Based on the polyphasic characteristics, RR4-56T represents a novel genus and species in the family Rhodobacteraceae, for which the name Pikeienuella piscinae gen. nov., sp. nov. was proposed. The type strain is RR4-56T (= KCTC 52648T = DSM 107918T).
A Study on the Environmental Load of Office Buildings in Seoul
Sang-Hyung Lee,Yun-Gyu Lee,Kwan-Seob Yang,Tae-Kyung Ahm,Seung-Eon Lee,Hyo-Soon Park 대한설비공학회 2001 International Journal Of Air-Conditioning and Refr Vol.9 No.1
This study is to examine the emission quantity of CO₂ gas as the environmental load in office buildings. After the investigation of monthly consumption of each energy source (electricity and natural gas), it is analyzed that the CO₂ emission quantity of 34 office buildings surveyed is 22.4 ㎏-c/㎡ㆍyear, which consists of 17.5 ㎏-c/㎡ㆍyear by consuming electricity, and 4.9 ㎏-c/㎡ㆍyear by consuming natural gas. And the CO₂ emission quantity of each load in those buildings consists of 68% emitted by general electricity, 16% by cooling load and 16% by heating load. It is also proposed that the CO₂ emission quantity of cooling and heating load is profoundly pertinent to the variation of outdoor temperature.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P><P>We report on a molecularly tailored 1:1 donor–acceptor (D‐A) charge‐transfer (CT) cocrystal that manifests strongly red‐shifted CT luminescence characteristics, as well as noteworthy reconfigurable self‐assembling behaviors. A loosely packed molecular organization is obtained as a consequence of the noncentrosymmetric chemical structure of molecule <B>A1</B>, which gives rise to considerable free volume and weak intermolecular interactions. The stacking features of the CT complex result in an external stimuli‐responsive molecular stacking reorganization between the mixed and demixed phases of the D‐A pair. Accordingly, high‐contrast fluorescence switching (red↔blue) is realized on the basis of the strong alternation of the electronic properties between the mixed and demixed phases. A combination of structural, spectroscopic, and computational studies reveal the underlying mechanism of this stimuli‐responsive behavior.</P>
