      • Multiple myeloma 환자에서 Bortezomib치료 후 발생한 마비성 장폐색증 1례

        Bortezomib is the first clinically available proteasome inhibitor that is clinically effective in the treatment of multiple myeloma. A proteasome inhibitor acts through multiple mechanisms to arrest tumor growth, tumor spread, and angiogenesis. The main adverse effects of bortezomib are gastrointestinal symptoms, cytopenia, fatigue, and peripheral neuropathy. To date, severe paralytic ileus has not been reported as a toxic effect of bortezomib treatment in multiple myeloma. Bortezomib is a novel agent that has only been used clinically for 30 months, so a need exists to further evaluate its toxicity. We report a case of grade Ⅲ (NCI CTCAE v3.0) or grade Ⅳ(SWOG toxicity criteria) paralytic ileus in a 65-year-old man with relapsed multiple myeloma who underwent one cycle of single-agent bortezomib treatment scheduled in a 21-day cycle (1.3 mg/㎥ as a single i.v. bolus on days 1, 4, 8, and 11).

      • 크리깅 기법을 이용한 마이크로 믹서의 최적 설계

        An active micro-mixer, which was composed of an oscillating micro-stirrer in the microchannel to provide rapid, effective mixing at high flow rates was analyzed. The effects of molecular diffusion and disturbance by the stirrer were considered with regard to two types of mixer models: the simple straight microchannel and microchannel with an oscillating stirrer. Two types of mixer models were studied by analyzing mixing behaviors such as their interactionafter the stirrer. The mixing was calculated by Lattice Boltzmann methods using the D2Q9 model. In this study, the time-averaged mixing index formula was used to estimate the mixing performance of time-dependent flow. The mixing indices of the two models were compared. From the results, it was found that the mixer with an oscillating stirrer was much more enhanced and stabilized. Therefore, an optimum design for a dynamic micro-mixer with an oscillating stirrer was performed using Kriging method in order to obtain a optimum solution. The design parameters were established as the frequency, the length and the angle of the stirrer, and the optimal values were determined to be 2.0932, 0.8D and ± 75°, respectively. It was found that the mixing index of the optimal design increased by 88.47% compared with that of the original design.

The design parameters were established as the frequency, the length and the angle of the stirrer, and the optimal values were determined to be 1.0346, 0.66D and ±45°, respectively. It was found that the mixing index of the optimal design increased by 88.72% compared with that of the original design.

        전자 상거래에서 인터넷 쇼핑몰의 비즈니스 평가 모델

        This paper proposes an evaluation model for internet shopping mall business by defining its characteristics and evaluation criteria. We analyzed the characteristics of internet shopping mall business environments and classified the business into four major categories. We derived the evaluation criteria which can evaluate all categories comprehensively. The proposed criteria are cost, netizen, technology, transaction, and marketing, each of which gives a significant Impact on the business profitability. Based on these criteria, a quantitative evaluation method was developed. We also proposed a penta-classification scheme which can be used to identify the overall characteristic shape of each internet shopping mall business site. An actual application of our evaluation model was illustrated in order to show that our proposed model may be used in the real business sites.

        Electronic Commerce grows rapidly in the past few years. Also, the power of EC doesn't become weak in the future. The increase of EC market scale provides powerful foundation to the Internet development. Unlike other technology, Internet has several distinctive character. First, As Internet spreads fast to the public, it became the usable technology to them in a short time. Second, Comparing to other technology, the work with using Internet isn't difficult to public so the basis of technology prepared in a short period. Third, Internet applicates all the industry and economic so, it makes economic foundation for making synergy during a short period. These Internet characters influence to EC growing speed which is basement of Internet growth. Due to Digital revolution giving much more influence than last Industrial Revolution, E-Business such as e-Management, B2B, B2C became the survival strategies for enterprise's management efficiency. Owing to emergence of technology like ultrahigh speed data communication, Broadband communication, wireless Internet, Internet TV, IS95C(2.5GB), 3G and activation of internet business, products and service through Internet become realized. Because of this, Supply of products and service through Internet are on the increase. But demand of voice communication become saturated, so increase of profit and sale through it reach the limit. Communication demand for products and service is a growing tendency. Consequently, research about vision and business strategies of Internet service for promoting the business founded on internet required.

      • 腦囊尾蟲症의 化學的療法에 관한 臨床的 硏究

        The purpose of this study was to evaluate the therapeutic effect of praziquantel (Embay8440, Biltricide®) on human cerebral cysticercosis. The praziquantel is a broad spectrum anthelmintic agent and has a high activity against cestodes and trematodes. Before and after the treatment with oral administration of the praziquantel the changes in structure of Cysticercus cellulosae biopsied in subcutaneous tissue were studied by scanning and transmission electron microscope, and cerebral cysticercosis by computerized tomographic scanning. The results were as follows : 1. The findings of the observations on subcutaneous Cysticercus biopsied after treatment were compared with those of before treatment. At the early stage of the treatment, small vacuoles were scattered along the basement layer in the tegumental syncytium of the scolex and neck regions. In the scanning electron microscopic observation, marked surface changes were present in the neck region with many bleb-like structures formed by the bursting of the large vacuoles in the tegumental syncytium. In the specimens biopsied at 2 or 5 weeks after treatment, the degenerations and necrosis of the tegumental syncytium were seen in all part of cysticercus. 2. The scanning electron microscopic findings of Cysticercus cellulosae obtained from the 4th ventricle of the cerebral cysticercosis patients by the surgical operation were identical with those of subcutaneous tissues. 3. In 12 cases of cerebral cysticercosis treated with prziquantel in dosage of 3×25 ㎎/㎏ for 3 or 4 consecutive days, there were no cessations of the convulsive seizures during the 6 months follow up. Among them 9 cases were given again with the same doses of the drug for 4 or 7 days. In 7 of 9 cases, no more convulsive seizure was experienced over one or two years after the second treatment. At the same time the lesions of the brain C.T. scanning were disappeared, decreased in size or calcified. In the other 3 cerebral cysticercosis cases, the complete cure was also obtained after the oral medication of praziquantel with the doses of 3×25 ㎎/㎏ for 7 consecutive days. 4. In the treatment of cerebral cysticercosis with praziquantel, it was found that the combined oral medication of dexamethasone during the course of treatment was effective on preventing and minimizing the side effects.

        In this study, additions of aluminium foil eching characteristics were compared with sulfuric acid for capacitor. sulfuric acid and ethylene glycol is used as addition, characteristics of funtional group from addition were guessed by comparing of aluminium foil eching characteristics. When sulfuric acid was added in HCI etching solution, corrosion of aluminum metal was inhibited by the chemical adsorption of sulfate ion, when ethylen glycol was added in HCI etching solution, corrosion inhibited by the chemical adsorption of OH­^ion.

      • 單純보上에서 一定速度를 갖는 剛體系의 振動解析

        The vibration problem of a two-dimensional rigid body system on a simple beam is studied. The rigid body system is supported by the suspension units with stiffness and damping, and it has constant velocity on a beam. The deformations of the beams is represented by their corresponding eigenfunction series. The Runge-Kutta method is used in numerical analysis. 1. Regardless of damping, as the speed reduces, the maximum deflection of rigid body system increases, and as the speed increases, the maximum deflection of rigid body system reduces. 2. As the speed reduces, the deflection of rigid body system decreaces at endpoint of the simple beam from C=0 to C=100 N·s/m. And in case of C=1700 N·s/m, the deflection of rigid body system at endpoint of the simple beam is smallest at midspeed 22.22 m/s. 3. In case of undamping(C=O), the maximum deflection of rigid body system is moved from midpoint to endpoint of the simple beam as the speed increases. 4. As the damping coefficient increases, the deflection of rigid body system increases very small at the initial portion of the simple beam, but the maximum deflection reduces. 5. As the damping coefficient increases, the maximum deflection of rigid body system is moved from endpoint to midpoint of the simple beam.

      • 순차적 크리깅기법을 이용한 미소혼합기의 최적화

Two types of mixer models were studied by analyzing mixing behaviors such as their interaction after the stirrer. The mixing was calculated by Lattice Boltzmann methods using the D2Q9 model. In this study, the time-averaged mixing index formula was used to estimate the mixing performance of time-dependent flow. The mixing indices of the two models were compared. From the results, it was found that the mixer with an oscillating stirrer was much more enhanced' and stabilized. Therefore, an approximate optimization of an active micro-mixer with an oscillating stirrer was performed using Kriging method with OLHD (Optimal Latin Hypercube Design) in order to determine the optimal design variables. The design parameters were established as the frequency, the length and the angle of the stirrer. The optimal values were obtained as 1.5754, 0.803D and ±45°, respectively. It was found that the mixing index of the optimal design increased by 83.36% compared with that of the original design.

      • 肝吸蟲症 濃厚流行地(金海市)에 있어서의 疫學的 推移에 관한 硏究

        In order to observe the epidemiological changes of clonorchiasis in the high endemic area in Korea, the stool examinations were carried out in Bulam-dong, Kimhae City. A total of 423 stool specimens collected from the inhabitants of this area were examined both by cellophane thick smear method and Stoll’s egg dilution counting technique. The result of this survey was compared to the data obtained in 1973 by the quantitative analysis applying the regression equations, the simple and two-stage catalytic curves. The metacercarial density of Pseudorasbora parva and the tendency of familial aggregation of this area were also compared with those of 1973. In addition to this study informal interview were conducted to investigate the KAP (knowledge, attitude and practice) of the raw fish eating habit of the ingabitants in this area. The results are as follows: 1. Overall prevalence rate of clonorchiasis was reduced from 68.3% to 45.6% in a period of 10 years. 2. In 1973, both sexes in all age groups showed almost parallel high infection rates. However in 1983, the rate for males was slightly higher than that for females and a marked reduction in the prevalence was encountered in the youngest age group. 3. The mean E.P.G. count of Clonorchis sinensis infection in the surveyed area was 10,846 in 1973. But the mean E.P.G. count was decreased to 4,858 in 1983. The degree of intensity of Clonorchis sinensis infection determined by E.P.G. count was evenly distributed in geavy, very heavy, light and moderate infections in 1973 whereas an E.P.G. of over 10,000 was seen only in 14.0% of examinee in 1973. 4. The two-stage catalytic model was applied to this study and the calculation led to the equation y=1.042(e^(-0.003t)-e^(-0.074t)); a>b in 1973, and y-1.130(e^(-0.003t)-e^(-0.026t); a>b in 1983. 5. The intensity of endemicity was compared with the regression equations calculated from cumulative percentages of E.P.G. counts. The regression equations were y=2.75+1.46 log^(χ)(Cs. D_(50) 64.76) in 1973 compared to y=3.27+1.59 log^(χ)(Cs. D_(50) 12.25) in 1983. 6. In high endemic area such as Kimhae City the tendency of familial aggregation was recognized not in 1973 but in the present study. 7. Metacercarial infestation rate of P.parva did not change but metacercarial density was decreased from 1,312.4 ea/fish to 1,233.4 ea/fish in 1972 and 1973 to 160.8 ea/fish in 1983. 8. The KAP(knowledge, attitude and practice) of raw-fish eating habit of inhabitants were mentioned.
