韓日國際結婚家庭の日本語繼承を支えるもの -母と娘の語りから見る繼承日本語敎育-

國際結婚の增加に伴い、韓國在住の韓日國際結婚家庭を對象とした硏究が行われ始めている。しかし、これまでのところ、親、子どもの雙方の立場からことばの學びを捉える硏究や子どもの學びを長期的に捉える硏究は十分に行なわれていない。そこで、本硏究では、親と子、雙方の視点から國際結婚家庭における日本語繼承について探っていくことを目的とし、韓國に暮らす韓日國際結婚家庭の母娘にインタビュ一を行った。親だけでなく、子どもも日本語習得に積極的で、高いレベルの日本語力を身につけている親子を對象とし、幼少期から成人期にかけた長期的なスパンの中での繼承語としての日本語敎育の樣相を探った。インタビュ一の語りの考察から、母と娘の雙方が日本語をコミュニケ一ションの媒介として捉え、日常生活の中で日本語を意識的に使用していたこと、また、日本と韓國とを移動する中で日本語を學ぶためのさまざまな環境づくりが行われていたことがわかった。そして、それにより、日本語學習の强固な基盤が作られていた。さらに、そのような環境の中で、それぞれが自分にとっての日本語繼承の意味を感じながら日本語敎育·日本語學習に取り組んだことが日本語繼承への意味づけを肯定的なものとし、積極的な日本語繼承へとつながっていることが明らかになった。 With the rise in international marriages, several studies have examined the families of Korean-Japanese cross-border marriages residing in South Korea. However, so far, no long term studies have focused on language acquisition or learning by the children of these marriages, from the perspective of both parent and child. Thus, in this study, mother and daughter in families of Korean-Japanese cross-border marriages residing in South Korea was interviewed. The aim of the study was to explore Japanese language succession within this family from the perspectives of both parent and child. We targeted not only parents but also children who were actively learning Japanese and had already achieved a high level of Japanese. We explored aspects of Japanese language education as a heritage language over a longer timespan from childhood to adulthood. The results of these interviews show that both mothers and daughters used Japanese as a communication tool and consciously used it in their daily lives. Furthermore, it was found that various environments were created that were conducive to Japanese language learning when relocating from Japan to South Korea. Thereby, a solid foundation for Japanese learning was created. Further, it became evident that in such environments, each individual had their own sense of Japanese language succession. Thus, Japanese language acquisition and learning has promoted Japanese language succession, leading to proactive succession of the language.

<P>Japan Atomic Energy Agency (JAEA) is procuring 100% of the ITER Central Solenoid (CS) conductors. The CS conductor is required to maintain the performance under 60000 pulsed electromagnetic cycles. JAEA tested two internal-tin Nb<SUB>3</SUB>Sn conductors for the CS at the SULTAN test facility. As a result of destructive examination, the twist pitches of both of the cables satisfied requirements of the ITER Organization (IO). The current sharing temperatures T<SUB>cs</SUB> of each sample were 6.6 and 6.8 K before cyclic operation, and the T<SUB>cs</SUB> values were 6.8 and 6.9 K after 9700 electromagnetic cycles, including three warm-up/cooldowns, respectively. The T<SUB>cs</SUB> performance of both samples satisfied the IO requirement. The ac losses of CSKO1-C and CSKO1-D were approximately half of typical bronze-route CS conductors at 2 and 9 T. The ac loss at 45.1 kA after the cycling was 1.5 times higher than that without the transport current. An almost constant strain of the jacket was observed after the test as a result of the residual strain measurement. Therefore, the deformation of the cable might have been homogeneous along the conductor axis. Because of the higher T<SUB>cs</SUB> of CSKO1-D than CSKO1-C, JAEA started the manufacturing of the CS conductor with the same specification as CSKO1-D.</P>
Automatic Bunsetsu Segmentation of Japanese Sentences Using a Classification Tree

Bunsetsu, which is comprised of a content word followed by, possibly 0, function words, is a convenient unit for dependency structure analysis of Japanese. There are, however, no spaces indicating bunsetsu boundaries in the orthographic writing of Japanese. Thus a sentence must be segmented into bunsetsu``s by some means prior to dependency structure analysis. Conventionally, such segmentation has been performed by using some kind of hand-crafted rules. This paper describes a novel segmentation method using a classification tree, by which knowledge about bunsetsu boundaries is automatically acquired from a labeled corpus. The method enables quick and easy adaptation to a new task domain, and also to a new system of morpheme categorization without the need of changing the algorithm. Effectiveness of this method is shown through experiments on an ATR corpus and an EDR corpus.

A method for directly measuring gas diffusivity in a washcoat layer was established by preparing a simulated washcoat layer and modifying a Wicke–Kallenbach type counter-current diffusion cell. Three pairs of gases, N2–Ar, CO2–Ar and C3H8–Ar, were used in the measurements. It was found to be possible to evaluate the pore-transport parameters of the washcoat layer based on the mean transport pore model and the modified Stefan–Maxwell equation. Analysis of the gas diffusion mechanism in the washcoat layer showed that bulk and Knudsen diffusion took place simultaneously, and the percentage value of the contribution by Knudsen transport to net diffusion transport was evaluated.

Objective: Some antidepressants have been implicated as risk factors for QT prolongation, which is a predictor of sudden cardiac death. However, the QT interval is considered an imperfect biomarker for proarrhythmic risk. Therefore, we reevaluated the risk of sudden cardiac death due to antidepressants using improved methods, namely, QT dispersion (QTD), T wave peak-to-end interval (Tp-e), and Tp-e/QT ratio. Methods: We compared the effects of antidepressants on QTc (QT/RR1/3), QTD, Tp-e, and Tp-e/QT ratio in 378 patients with mood disorder. We also compared each index between 165 healthy controls and 215 randomly selected age-matched patients. Results: Age (p<0.01), sex (p<0.05), tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) use (p<0.05), and clomipramine (p<0.01) and mianserin (p<0.05) use in particular, significantly associated with a prolonged QTc. We also found that age (p<0.01), TCA use (p<0.05), and clomipramine (p<0.01) and mianserin (p<0.05) use in particular, significantly prolonged QTD. However, there was no correlation between each variable and Tp-e or Tp-e/QT ratio. Significant differences in QTc and QTD were found between the patients and healthy controls. Conclusion: From our results, prediction of risk of sudden cardiac death by QTD, Tp-e, or Tp-e/QT ratio was inconsistent. Increased QTD may be more suitable for predicting sudden cardiac death due to antidepressants.
